I sat alone for the first 25 minutes and then tried to write something into the chat box. It would not go and I soon realized I had crashed. Geee. I wondered how long I was gone...might there be a crowd of people there? I logged out and back in and Adelene was sitting there and we were soon joined by Moon for a few minutes. The rest of the session was Adelene and myself and a mouse I had not met before, Squee.

I missed Squee's comment as I arrived in a panic

Adelene Dawner: I haven't been here as much as usual, recently, either.
Adams Rubble :) I slipped away from things as fall progressed...just finding my way back

Adelene Dawner: life's been being chaotic, here.
Adams Rubble :) I understand you're moving (can I say that here?)

Adelene Dawner: Less'n two weeks
Adams Rubble :) That in itself takes a big effort

Adams Rubble :) Would you believe I haven't moved in 29 years
Adams Rubble :) That is after an average move of every 1 1/2 years

Adams Rubble :) But moving keeps one honest as far as accumulating stuff

Adams Rubble :) 29 years of accumulating is not a pretty sight

Adelene Dawner: I can imagine
Adelene Dawner: I've lived in NJ for 9 years - not all in one place in NJ, but in the same general area - and that's the second longest I've lived in any one area. I lived in Pennsylvania for 11 years, between two different houses there.
Adelene Dawner: I don't think I can quite imagine living 29 years all in one spot.
Adams Rubble :) I never thought it would happen to me :)

Adelene Dawner: I hope I feel well enough to get some packing done today. I picked up a nasty stomach flu at work... yek.
Adams Rubble :) It's a bad time for bugs; we all got sick here over Christmas

Adams Rubble :) It is easier to move when it is close...lots of back and forth trips
Adelene Dawner: That's not the case, here, but I think in a way that's good - clean break, 'n all.
Adams Rubble :) We've kept a hand in with all the moves of our sons and daughters

Adams Rubble :) Still I enjoy going somewhere else and seeing something different

Adelene Dawner: It's different, for me... I don't go out much... work, home, home, work, that's all... so even going out to the store or to the boardwalk or whavtever is 'new'.

Adelene Dawner chuckles. "Most likely. I didn't really celebrate Christmas this year."
Adams Rubble :) Whatever feelings I have for Christmas seem to come afterwards rather than before
Adams Rubble :) There is some kind of relief when the pre-Christmas season is over
Adelene Dawner: mm.
Adams Rubble :) That may be left over from the years we were so busy
Adams Rubble :) The rest of the world seems to drop Christmas like a hot potato afterwards
