Adams Rubble was the guardian and provided the few comments
I sat alone for the first 25 minutes and then tried to write something into the chat box. It would not go and I soon realized I had crashed. Geee. I wondered how long I was gone...might there be a crowd of people there? I logged out and back in and Adelene was sitting there and we were soon joined by Moon for a few minutes. The rest of the session was Adelene and myself and a mouse I had not met before, Squee.
I missed Squee's comment as I arrived in a panic
Squee: Knowledge rests not upon truth alone, but upon error also.
Adams Rubble :) Hello Adelene :)
Adelene Dawner: ^.^
Adams Rubble :) Have you been here long?
Adelene Dawner: 'bout 10 minutes.
Adams Rubble :) I was here by myself and tried to type something in and ralized I had crashed at some point
Adelene Dawner: ah
Adams Rubble :) Anyone else here?
Moon Fargis: im here:)
Adams Rubble :) Hi Moon :)
Adelene Dawner: :)
Adams Rubble :) I am having a strange morning
Adams Rubble :) I was sitting here by myself and crashed at some point
Adams Rubble :) Thought no one was here
Adams Rubble :) How is everyone?
Moon Fargis: well i just wanted to take a look and quickly say hello :)
Adams Rubble :) :)
Adams Rubble :) Unusually quiet for a Sunday morning
Moon Fargis: yes
Moon Fargis: hehe
Moon Fargis: as i also will say goodbye now, just a quick look as i said :)
Moon Fargis: see you later my friends
Adams Rubble :) Bye Moon
Adams Rubble :) I haven't seen too much of you lately Adelene
Adams Rubble :) I have been missing a good many sessions
Adelene Dawner: I haven't been here as much as usual, recently, either.
Adams Rubble :) I slipped away from things as fall progressed...just finding my way back
Adelene Dawner: mm.
Adelene Dawner: life's been being chaotic, here.
Adams Rubble :) I understand you're moving (can I say that here?)
Adelene Dawner: yep :)
Adelene Dawner: Less'n two weeks
Adams Rubble :) That in itself takes a big effort
Adelene Dawner: mmhmm
Adams Rubble :) Would you believe I haven't moved in 29 years
Adams Rubble :) That is after an average move of every 1 1/2 years
Adelene Dawner: wow
Adams Rubble :) But moving keeps one honest as far as accumulating stuff
Adelene Dawner: mmhmm
Adams Rubble :) 29 years of accumulating is not a pretty sight
Adams Rubble :) hehe
Adelene Dawner: I can imagine
Adelene Dawner: I've lived in NJ for 9 years - not all in one place in NJ, but in the same general area - and that's the second longest I've lived in any one area. I lived in Pennsylvania for 11 years, between two different houses there.
Adelene Dawner: I don't think I can quite imagine living 29 years all in one spot.
Adams Rubble :) I never thought it would happen to me :)
Adams Rubble :) Time starts to go very quickly
Adams Rubble :) We are going to need dynamite when it is time to move next
Adams Rubble :) kind of loosen up the stuff a little
Adelene Dawner: hehe
Adelene Dawner: I hope I feel well enough to get some packing done today. I picked up a nasty stomach flu at work... yek.
Adams Rubble :) It's a bad time for bugs; we all got sick here over Christmas
Adams Rubble :) Bad timing with the moving
Adelene Dawner: mmhmm
Adams Rubble :) It is easier to move when it is close...lots of back and forth trips
Adelene Dawner: That's not the case, here, but I think in a way that's good - clean break, 'n all.
Adams Rubble :) We've kept a hand in with all the moves of our sons and daughters
Adams Rubble :) We had some adventures with those :)
Adams Rubble :) Yes, it's good to start over sometimes
Adams Rubble :) Everything new
Adams Rubble :) Different streets, stores
Adams Rubble :) friends
Adams Rubble :) I am surprised that I can still walk or bike the very same streets back and forth to work
Adams Rubble :) hmm.typing walk and very
Adams Rubble :) I have had people at work complain about doing it for a few years. hehe
Adams Rubble :) Fortunately there is a crossing of a river involved
Adams Rubble :) every morning it is different
Adelene Dawner: ^.^
Adams Rubble :) Still I enjoy going somewhere else and seeing something different
Adelene Dawner: mmhmm
Adelene Dawner: It's different, for me... I don't go out much... work, home, home, work, that's all... so even going out to the store or to the boardwalk or whavtever is 'new'.
Squee: Don't be afraid of death. Be afraid of an unlived life. You don't have to live forever, you just have to live!
Adelene Dawner pokes Squee.
Adams Rubble wonders if that was the mouse on Adelene's head
Adelene Dawner: mmhmm :)
Adams Rubble :) :)
Adams Rubble :) A very wise mouse
Adelene Dawner: that's the idea ^.^
Squee: In the middle of a world that has always been a bit mad, the cat walks with confidence.
Adams Rubble :) hmmm. That sounds a little bit more like mouse philosophy :)
Adelene Dawner chuckles.
Squee giggles. that tickles.
Squee giggles. that tickles.
Adams Rubble musing that whether we are in new or old spaces it is the degree that we can appreciate appearances that makes more difference
Adelene Dawner: yup.
Adams Rubble :) So was Squee stirring on Christmas eve?
Adelene Dawner chuckles. "Most likely. I didn't really celebrate Christmas this year."
Adams Rubble :) Whatever feelings I have for Christmas seem to come afterwards rather than before
Adams Rubble :) There is some kind of relief when the pre-Christmas season is over
Adelene Dawner: mm.
Adams Rubble :) That may be left over from the years we were so busy
Adams Rubble :) The rest of the world seems to drop Christmas like a hot potato afterwards
Adelene Dawner nods.
Adams Rubble :) when there are still 12 days to go :)
Adelene Dawner: hehe
Adams Rubble :) Well I hope you feel better. Thanks so much for dropping by this morning
Adelene Dawner: ^.^
Adelene Dawner: See you around, Adams.
Adams Rubble :) and it was very nice to meet you Squee
