The Guardian for this meeting was Eden Haiku. The comments are by Eden Haiku. Attending were Korel, Tess, Zen, Tallin [Bertram's alt], Bruce, Yakuzza, Bleu, Alfred [briefly], Xirana and Eliza.
Bleu Oleander: hi Yaku and Korel
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey bleu and korel
Bleu Oleander: hi Eden :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning eden
Korel Laloix: osiyo
Eden Haiku: Good morning Yaku, Bleu, osiyo Korel :)
Eden Haiku: Are you a friend of Freud, Korel, I see you use the same greeting?
Bleu Oleander: oh Eden I see by your tag that you have adopted Pema's idea for using your session ... very nice :)
I was wearing a tag saying : "Special session, clockwise, one by one." I had just read Pema's suggestion in an email he had sent a few hours before to the group of guardians. Here is a quote from his email:
"Hi Everybody -- and hi, Maxine, Eden, Wester (see below):
(…)
I very much like the idea of more theme meetings. Not all of those need
to have a specific theme: we could also dedicate some meetings to talk
in a somewhat more focused way about the general theme "Play as Being".
And given that most any meeting is already playful, we can simply hold
four "Being" theme meetings, one for each time zone, each week. It can
just be a sharing of "dropping what you have to see what you are", and
seeing how that idea works out in daily life, and what it can mean.
I'd be happy to volunteer carrying one such "Being" meeting during my
slot, Saturday, 7 pm. One option would be to then follow up during
the next three days, each time one slot earlier: Maxine's 1 pm Sunday
meeting; Eden's 7 am Monday meeting; and Wester's 1 am Tuesday meeting.
Maxine, Eden, and Wester: would you be interested to try that, for a few
weeks, and see what happens? I'll try to be at as many "Being" sessions
as I can possibly be. :-)
Cheers,
Pema"
Bleu Oleander: great idea he had!
Eden Haiku: Yes!
Eden Haiku: I suggest clockwise here instead of counterclockwise though. I'm very ill at ease with counterclockwise.
Korel Laloix: Sorry... in and out today.... Same person..... Just starting a new AV.
Korel Laloix: Thanks for noticing though.
--BELL--
Eden Haiku: Ah nice to know Korel. So no need to ask for your permission to log your words, I assume you grant it as Freud did.
Korel Laloix: Yes.
Korel Laloix: Great by me.
Bleu Oleander: hi Xirana!
Korel Laloix: Yes.
Xirana Oximoxi: hello to all :)
Korel Laloix: Thanks for asking.
Korel Laloix: heya
Eden Haiku: Hello Xirana. I think you have been here before?
Xirana Oximoxi: yes... I have been here, thanks:)
Trying to start :-)
Eden Haiku: Thanks. So, today will be a special session.
Yakuzza Lethecus: hi xirana
Xirana Oximoxi: hello Yaku:)
Bleu Oleander: hi Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Good Morning!
Eden Haiku: A
s was discussed in a guardians session lately [
http://bit.ly/h17x8t]
and later by Pema, we will try to focus a bit more on Being during some of our PaB sessions.
Xirana Oximoxi: hallo Eliza:)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sharon!
Eden Haiku: Hi ELiza. I jumped in this special session experiment and I'm trying to explain how we will proceed.
Bleu Oleander: hi Sharon :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi everyone!!
Korel Laloix: heya
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey eliza and ssl
SophiaSharon Larnia: I change my work schedule from now on, had to log in to sl to celebrate lol
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Eden, you are so immediate, starting off right away!
Eden Haiku: So let's say we focus "on experiences rather than ideas" as Eos said.
Eliza Madrigal: (congrats Sharon) :) And, Okay... sounds great
Eden Haiku: Nice to see you Sharon, on this special morning session!
SophiaSharon Larnia: :) yes Eden
SophiaSharon Larnia: ty!
Eden Haiku: May I suggest we reflect on what Play as Being means for us NOW, even if you are very recent to Play as Being.
Eden Haiku: We will talk in turn, one at a time.
Eden Haiku: Without interrupting.
Bleu Oleander: shall we say "done" when finished?
Eliza Madrigal: okay :) but smileys are okay?
SophiaSharon Larnia: :) Eliza
Eden Haiku: Smileys ok :-) and maybe name of the next person instead of "done:"?
Bleu Oleander: :)
Eliza Madrigal: :D
Xirana Oximoxi: ok:)
Eden Haiku: I would prefer to proceed clockwise as I feel very ill at ease with the counterclockwise motion.
Korel Laloix: Why ill at ease?
Eden Haiku: Humm, long to explain. Is everyone ok with trying clockwise for just this morning at least?
Eliza Madrigal: Sure!
Korel Laloix: Sure
Bleu Oleander: sure
Eden Haiku: Hi Tess. Have you been here before?
SophiaSharon Larnia: sorry have to go, I thought this would work out better, but have to go :D so nice to see you all in the AM (for many of us again!!)
Bleu Oleander: hi Tess
Eliza Madrigal likes counter-clockwise for reasons of nautilus and dna, etc....
SophiaSharon Larnia: b4n
Eden Haiku: Bye Sharon
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Sharon :)
Tess Aristocrat: yes
Bleu Oleander: bye Sharon
Yakuzza Lethecus: bfn ssl
Tess Aristocrat: brb..tea
Eden Haiku: So.
Xirana Oximoxi: clockwise... how does it work, please?.. you mean, each have X time to speak?
Eliza Madrigal: Tess has been here before... just explained about the one-at-a-time sharing today, that we're trying a newish thing :)
--BELL--
Trying to explain how we will do this [ the blind leading the blind!]
Eden Haiku: Let's say the host starts. It's me today. So then it's Korel to my left, then Tess, then Yaku, Bleu, Xirana and Eliza.
Tess Aristocrat: good morning from East Texas!
Xirana Oximoxi: good morning Tess:)
Eden Haiku: One thing that is going to be special about this special session is we are going to observe the 90 seconds pause of silence as we just did!
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: hi tallin
Eden Haiku: After all, Play as Being is about using a 1% tax on our time to mindfullness isn't, is everybody aware of that?
Tallin Dezno: hi everybody ! and for those who don't know : this is a bertam´s alt :-)
Xirana Oximoxi: hallo Tallin
Bleu Oleander: hi bertram's alt:)
Eden Haiku: Hi Tallin (Bertram). Today is a special session.
Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Tallin Dezno: i'm informed already ty vm
Eden Haiku: We are starting now, trying to adjust our biological clocks to each other :)
Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eden Haiku: So let us focus today on what Playing as Being means for each of us NOW. We talk one after the other, proceeding starting at my left with Korel, stating the name of the next person when we are through
Eden Haiku: trying not to interrupt each other
Eden Haiku: but smileys are ok
Korel Laloix: AH.. Ok.
Starting!
Eden Haiku: So. I start.
Tallin Dezno: :-D
Korel Laloix: I am not sure what is meant my "means"...
Korel Laloix: This does not "mean" anything to me.
Korel Laloix: I guess it is a tool for me to work on parts of my English that I don't normally et to use.
Korel Laloix: And I find it interesting to hear some very very different perspectives.
Korel Laloix: Tess.
Korel Laloix: O right other way?... lol
Tess Aristocrat: Eden? did you want to go?
Alfred Kelberry: meep-meep!
EDEN
Eden Haiku: Playing as Being NOW is trying this special session even though I don't know the rules very well yet, didn't have much time to prepare, yet it feels very exciting. And Korel, that's fine, just say how it is for you now, and then say: Your turn Tess. And when Tess will have finished saying what she feels like saying then she will say : your turn Tallin and so on :)
Bleu Oleander: hi Alfred
Eliza Madrigal will give notes to Alf and Bruce (Hello!)
Xirana Oximoxi: hello kira
Alfred Kelberry: :)
Alfred Kelberry: hello, pablings
KOREL
Korel Laloix: Your turn Tess... grins
Eden Haiku: And I forgot to say : Your turn Korel ;)
TESS
Tess Aristocrat: Play as Being allows me to to come and converse with sometimes likeminded individuals and share ideas. My philosophy is that everyone has something to teach us.
Eden Haiku: Your turn Tallin?
Tess Aristocrat: Tallin?
Tallin Dezno: yes :
Eden Haiku: ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: :))
TALLIN [Bertram's alt]
Tallin Dezno: i could say a lot *smile* ...
Tallin Dezno: may be - i try to shorten it a bit - first, i found out that i can take it very literally : "play as being" !
Tallin Dezno: i learned it here and am very thankul for it. not being too serious anymore ...
Tallin Dezno: and i also like communities - so also that is a very important aspect to me
Tallin Dezno: i like it also that "sharing" here is an important point
Tallin Dezno: and i also appreciate very much that here various kinds of religions and philosophy are appreciated. that may be enough for now - bruce plz :-)
Eliza Madrigal: :)
BRUCE
Bruce Mowbray: Thank you, Tallin.
--BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: This clockwise around the circle is a bit new -- so . . . [silence.]
Bruce Mowbray: Will attempt to say this "experientially" rather than philosophically. . .
Bruce Mowbray: I am challenging myself to experience everything with mindfulness toward Being rather than toward Having.
Bruce Mowbray: (This is coming from reading of Stephen Batchelor's book "Alone with Others" 000 which I'm now deeply into.
Bruce Mowbray: So, as I lit the fire this morning, and as I logged into SL, and as I sat with the Peacemaker sangha this morning.
Tess Aristocrat: ã‹¡
Bruce Mowbray: In each of these things - as well as pouring out the cheerios and slicing the banana on top of them. . .
Tess Aristocrat: lol
Bruce Mowbray: I am ---- experiencing the axis of Being (which Batchelor calls "the vertical")
Bruce Mowbray: This is wholly a different way of life from the "horizontal" or Having axis.
Bruce Mowbray: So. . . the exploration continues.
Bruce Mowbray: Thank you all for being here.
Bruce Mowbray: Yaku, it's on to you.
Tess Aristocrat: ã‹¡ must log..thanks all
YAKU
Yakuzza Lethecus: thx, bruce :)
Bruce Mowbray: thank you Tess.
Yakuzza Lethecus: bruce :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: play as being is currently a nice creative community for me, it meant contemplative exposure for me but right now it's a creative and nice community of ppl, the mindfullness and meditative aspect drifted a little bit away still some ppl bring reminder and related subjects once in a while, it's a place where as to get exposed to more expressive ppl very often and learn from those to make oneself better understandable or also just have a nice time with friends.
Zen Arado: ty
Yakuzza Lethecus: well that's of course my personal impression and also what i pay attention on differs over time
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey zen, and over to bleu :)
BLEU
Bleu Oleander: Thank you Yaku
Zen Arado: Hi All
Bleu Oleander: Adding to many comments already expressed, I'm also concerned with human well-being and flourishing.
Xirana Oximoxi: hello Zen
Eden Haiku: :-)
Bleu Oleander: Mindfulness has loomed as an important aspect for me. So i'm trying to incorporate more of it into my daily life and PaB encourages me to do so.
Bleu Oleander: I'm interested in the flow of energy and information. The social world is very active and it takes a pause for me to cultivate mindfulness.
Bleu Oleander: Paying "attention" to "intention" .... awareness of awareness .... kind of a "meta-awareness"
Bleu Oleander: staying on the theme of experience rather than concept I'm trying to stabilize the focus of my attention and in doing so have found/seen very rich details of reality ..... a clarity of vision :)
Bleu Oleander: Play as Being is like a "tickler" to bring me back to focus.
Bleu Oleander: thank you, Boxy do you want to speak next?
Bleu Oleander: or Xirana?
ALFRED
Alfred Kelberry: i'll pass :)
XIRANA
Xirana Oximoxi: ok:) I've written it :)
Xirana Oximoxi: Everytime I've been here, three or four times, the session has been different, so I'm still discovering what you do... but the group is really open to newcommers and the subjects are interessant and I'm sure I can learn a lot from all of you... I
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: ... I live in a lonely place and SL is a place where I can socialize and meet people/minds from everywhere...like in this group where we can share different opinions, points of view and so on... and thanks you for the possibility of meeting all of you he
Xirana Oximoxi: here:)
Xirana Oximoxi: I give the turn to Eliza:)
ELIZA
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Xirana!
Xirana Oximoxi: yw:)
Eliza Madrigal: I've been noticing and tasting the way that it feels to *just* listen to others share without feeling of instigation to jump in yet knowing there does come a time to respond ...
Eliza Madrigal: I feel 'let off of a hook' in some ways....
Eliza Madrigal: There is a rest and yet also a challenge to it that seems the heart of our friendship and community and will take attention to come 'back' to.
Eliza Madrigal: The phrase 'first love' keeps coming up for me... the scary feeling of that....
Eliza Madrigal: direct connection...
Eliza Madrigal: Play as Being is where that sense of things became real for me I think... that we can really explore playing AS being...
--BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: together, directly
Eliza Madrigal: Eden's immediacy of jumping into this seems setting an example :)
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you...
Eliza Madrigal: Eden :)
EDEN
Eden Haiku: Thank you Eliza. Playing as Being just NOW was tasting the silence with all of you, for a full 90 seconds.
Eden Haiku: I have done this kind of sharing one by one, in RL meetings and enjoyed it a lot.
Eden Haiku: It's a first for me here at PaB. Some of you have been doing this in the dream circle and at the recent SL retreat. I think it's a great way of focusing,
Eden Haiku: If we go back to Yaku's question that prompted the discussion and then Pema's project of having 4 sessions a week focused on Being,
Tallin Dezno: (zen didn't talk yet) (?) ...
Eden Haiku: I wonder what we can do for "preservation of pabish idea without loosing fun element". Though I'm having much fun now. [Tallin, I think we keep talking clockwise, even though someone joined the circle and hasn't talked yet :)] Your turn Korel :)
Tallin Dezno: perhaps he also could tell what pab means to him ?
KOREL
Korel Laloix: Yes... I think it would be best to go back.
Korel Laloix: Your turn Zen.
ZEN
Zen Arado: pab is something that is in constant flux and change
Zen Arado: it is not what I first thought it was
Zen Arado: a place for interesting discussions
Zen Arado: though that happens too
Zen Arado: it ties in with my investigations into - ;what is reality?'
Zen Arado: that started in Buddhism and Zen
Zen Arado: and I now see 'being' and what it is as the core ....principle of pab
Zen Arado: but we can also appreciate the fun elements as well
Zen Arado: and that stops us taking ourselves too seriously
Zen Arado: finished
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: ;)
Tallin Dezno: okay - that means : my turn ? ;-)
Zen Arado: think so
TALLIN
Tallin Dezno: okay. ty zen :o)
Tallin Dezno: i had some remarks on what was said now here before :
Tallin Dezno: i'm not sure how to understand Korel's "going back" ... may be she could explain later ...
Korel Laloix: I did not want to skip Zen.
Tallin Dezno: and when eliza said, we do things together here, i thought : together but also as individuals
Tallin Dezno: and i must admit that i don't know "yakus question" precisely ...
Tallin Dezno: then, according to the point of the essentials of pab :
--BELL--
Tallin Dezno: to me, they are mostly present. may be because they are quite similar to "my own essences" so to say
Tallin Dezno: and the idea of 4 sessions with the focus "being" is already one nice idea i think
Tallin Dezno: on the other hand, i sometimes also don't know how to support satisfying sessions
Tallin Dezno: but i think, that would be too much to expect : that every session is phantastic ;-)
Tallin Dezno: so i'm happy, with ups and downs and like sessions like this very much
Tallin Dezno: bruce plz ty
BRUCE
Bruce Mowbray: Thank you, Tal.
Bruce Mowbray: Hmmmm. . . . I think I misunderstood the initial "assignment" -- to say what PaB means to me. . .
Bruce Mowbray: but -- perhaps I'm responding to that now.
Bruce Mowbray: I literally live 50 miles from even the POSSIBILITY of finding something like PaB in RL.
Bruce Mowbray: So, PaB is first and foremost ACCESS to people who think, who care, who explore, who stay in the Open Questions about life.
Bruce Mowbray: and I am SO GRATEFUL for this.
Bruce Mowbray: To me, playing and loving are very close. . .
Bruce Mowbray: I cannot really PLAY without being myself and without being honest.
Bruce Mowbray: Nor can I love without being myself and without being honest.
Bruce Mowbray: So -- PaB is a place where I have access to Playing and to Loving - - - and at the bottom of it all, that's why I'm here:
Bruce Mowbray: to play to love to be played with and to be loved.
Bruce Mowbray: thank you.
Bruce Mowbray: Yaku, my friend, it is yours.
Eliza Madrigal smiles
YAKU
Yakuzza Lethecus: thx, yes for me it's also the access to such a community
Yakuzza Lethecus: also a problem is sometimes the playful appreciation of sessions, i usually sit around quietly and, hope for other to bring up glimpses in myself
Yakuzza Lethecus: which even happened quiet often in the past actually :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: so i identify myself often in the reflections of others
Korel Laloix: Back in a bit.
Yakuzza Lethecus: then it's sometimes an issue when everybody seems to have my approach of course :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: intentionally triggering a "great subject" so to speak, in my case i like mindfulness related subjects especially when they imply googable elements since i don't understand sometimes
Yakuzza Lethecus: or like that ted talk eliza mentioned yesterday or zen posted it on FB earlier
[Yaku is referring to this brilliant and funny TED talk about vulnerability by Brene Brown that Zen gave the link to during last guardians session: ]
Yakuzza Lethecus: well i am drifting away, over to bleu :)
BLEU
Bleu Oleander: ty Yaku!
Bleu Oleander: letting ourselves be seen is a luxury that PaB give us .... the opportunity to hear our thoughts and hear the thoughts of others, keeping in mind that there may be other points of view .... other ways to see reality
Bleu Oleander: realizing we're all in this together .... this exploration of reality .... and that it's still an open question with lots of room for discovery .... both personal and as a group
Bleu Oleander: that no tradition or any one person has a lock on the answers
Bleu Oleander: so keeping an uncertain mind is a focus for me
Bleu Oleander: PaB helps me to widen the sky :)
XIRANA
Bleu Oleander: Xirana?
Bruce Mowbray: :)
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Xirana Oximoxi: Thanks Blue:)
--BELL--
Xirana Oximoxi: well... today I'm learning a lot about this group and all of you.. and I must thank Yaku for have introduced me here
Xirana Oximoxi: I don't know a lot about meditation ... I've just begin to read a book ?Meditation for dummies /sillys?"... and I suppose that here I will be able to share things that bother me
Xirana Oximoxi: and sorry I've not respected the minute of silence :)
Eden Haiku: ;-)
Xirana Oximoxi: pass to Eliza
Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Tallin Dezno: :-)
ELIZA
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Xirana :)) So genuine....
Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Eliza Madrigal: I'm noticing this isn't easy... that I've built up lots of habits ... sort of embarrassing, but in a way that makes me smile with the potential... of seeing that...
Eliza Madrigal: 'being seen'
Eliza Madrigal: I'm not concerned at all about our not having enough silliness in sessions....
Eliza Madrigal: there is room :)
Bleu Oleander: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Wide sky and Open Question, Alone with Others :)
Eliza Madrigal: thanks :) Eden...
EDEN
Eden Haiku: Thank you Eliza.
Eden Haiku: Playing as Being NOW means riding the waves of emotions
Eden Haiku: as they arise
Eden Haiku: rocking me back and forth into Being
Eden Haiku: and out of it
Eden Haiku: (if that's possible!)
Eden Haiku: into Darkness and into Light
Eden Haiku: with you all and then in utter solitude
Eden Haiku: into old patterns of anger at being interrupted
Eden Haiku: and a new emerging one of using the anger as a trigger to speak up
Eden Haiku: I realize this kind of circle
Eden Haiku: is more left-brain oriented
Eden Haiku: while the more right-brained circle with no order talking is much more appealing and fun for me
Eden Haiku: I'm sure there is a more natural circle possible in-between that would not take the fun away
Eden Haiku: I have no idea how it would be done
Eden Haiku: and I would love to experiment with this in this session
Bleu Oleander: :)
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eden Haiku: so thanks for being here and jumping right in with me :) It's your turn Zen :))
Eliza Madrigal sways and giggles @ Bruce [Bruce was now wearing a clownish hat]
ZEN
Zen Arado: thanks Eden :)
Zen Arado: I find this format a bit too formal too
Bleu Oleander: (need to slip out .... ty Eden for a great first session! sneaks out quietly)
Zen Arado: I prefer to bounce ideas off people and see what happens
Xirana Oximoxi: bye Blue:)
Yakuzza Lethecus: take care bleu
Zen Arado: which I am now doing :)
Zen Arado: bye Bleu
Bruce Mowbray: thanks, Bleu.
Xirana Oximoxi: I must go too... thanks to all :)
Zen Arado: so I don't really know what 'I' think about pab in a way and don't want to freeze it in my opinions or beliefs of how it 'should' be
Bruce Mowbray: Bye, Xir -- and please do come back when you can.
Zen Arado: let's see what happens
Zen Arado: what comes up
Zen Arado: Tallin ovwe to you
Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Zen Arado: bye Xirana
TALLIN
Tallin Dezno: ty zen
Tallin Dezno: to me - as i said before - it's a change of ups and downs
--BELL--
Tallin Dezno: and i hope not to bore you too much, when i once more speak about my language problems - it's only because now, in this form, i have nearly none and that is so great to me
Tallin Dezno: oops
Tallin Dezno: often it's simply too fast for me here and i guess, most of us miss often much of the conversation. one can handle that, for sure. but i like it, when it's not "too much"
Tallin Dezno: and i think, fun must occur in oneself
Tallin Dezno: and also insights
Tallin Dezno: at least finally. for sure so to call "outer things" - and people can help us
Tallin Dezno: but in the end - it's all us i guess, ourselves who make something good or bad out of all
Tallin Dezno: so i like the pab company, it's values and am happy with it - ah : still one more thing :
Tallin Dezno: i think, the question which was spoken about today now and then is to be answered with that there is no final answer
Tallin Dezno: ty
Tallin Dezno: bruce plz :-)
BRUCE
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, Tallin --- There is brilliant sunshine coming through the window behind my computer - - making the monitor screen dark and hard to see - - so (?) to pull the window shade - or to squint to read the chat box ? I choose to squint. . . like Mr. Magoo. ;)
Zen Arado: can I slip out here
Zen Arado: thanks for discussion
Yakuzza Lethecus: take care zen
Zen Arado: bye
Eden Haiku: ;)
Eliza Madrigal: bye Zen :)
Bruce Mowbray: thank you, Zen. Have a happy day.
Eliza Madrigal: :) Magoo
Eden Haiku: ;)
Bruce Mowbray: While Tallin was speaking, a downy woodpecker was working its way up the tree right outside my window. . .
Bruce Mowbray: and I realized how close SL - PaB - and RL are for me.
Bruce Mowbray: and there is a sudden eruption of joy -- almost like: "For THIS I am living!"
Bruce Mowbray: on to Yaku.
Eliza Madrigal: Cheers to THIS! (and listens)
YAKU
Yakuzza Lethecus: i pass to eliza :)
ELIZA
Eliza Madrigal thinking that perhaps we can do 'both', have one round perhaps... then free... various ways :) And also leave that to individual guardians ... And I'm wondering about the expression of having cake and eating it too... isn't that the point of having cake? :)
Eliza Madrigal: I really appreciate you guys
Bruce Mowbray: [`·.] APPLAUSE!! [.·´]
Eliza Madrigal: and it can feel awkward I guess when we try something new... to get back to basics... which are never basic and there is no back to get to...
Eliza Madrigal: but also there is something delightful here
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Eden for your open sense of adventure.
Eliza Madrigal: Done :)
EDEN starts onigokko and chaos, shaking things up
Eden Haiku: ;) Thanks Eliza!
Eden Haiku: onigokko
Eliza Madrigal: heheheh
Eliza Madrigal smiling... whew
Eden Haiku: stop
Yakuzza Lethecus: thx everyone, thx eden for this session, thx everyone
Bruce Mowbray realizes he wasn't wearing his oni. . .
Bruce Mowbray: wants to try it out to see if it still works.
Eliza Madrigal: (bye yaku) onigokko
Bruce Mowbray: onigokko
Eliza Madrigal: onigokko
Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Bruce Mowbray: stop
Eliza Madrigal: hahah no stopping us bruce
Bruce Mowbray: stop
Eden Haiku: Ha! Still my turn! Thank you Yaku :) Maybe your oni was under your hat Bruce!
Eliza Madrigal: stop
Bruce Mowbray: Yikes!
Eliza Madrigal: please stop?
Eliza Madrigal: hehehe
Eliza Madrigal: STOP
Eliza Madrigal: hm....
Eliza Madrigal: I'm really off the hook
Eliza Madrigal: stop
Eden Haiku: I was willing to keep dancing...it just stopped...laughing at seeing Eliza running into circles with no music...
Eliza Madrigal: sigh
Bruce Mowbray: click on a cushion and sit down.
Bruce Mowbray: that will stop it, I think.
Eliza Madrigal: whew
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Eden Haiku: So I keep talking on this funny sight of Eliza moving endlessly on my screen, trapped into some loop.
Eliza Madrigal: yes that's the image I have of myself often :)
Eden Haiku: Ah, here you are, quietly sitting like a good little girl Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal wears halo
Bruce Mowbray wears party hat.
Eliza Madrigal: I do feel rather focused now...
Bruce Mowbray: Folks, this has been wonderful. I need to get outside into the sunshine -- going for a walk with my dog now.
Eden Haiku: Yes, I'm sure we could find a way of being focused on Being, going back to basics (liked very much your sharing about the sun pouring in and so Bruce and it's happening here as I write this)
Bruce Mowbray: May you all have a happy day.
Bruce Mowbray: and THANK YOU for this really special session.
Eden Haiku: Bye Bruce
Eliza Madrigal: thanks Bruce, Happy Day
Eliza Madrigal: I think you're right though, Eden, and thanks for being honest and genuine in your noticings too....
Eden Haiku: Your turn Tallin
TALLIN
Eliza Madrigal: don't want to become rigid
Tallin Dezno: LOL ! - and : i also should slip out now - ty all ! may all beings be happy plz ... it's a never ending story i guess ... eliza plz :o)
--BELL--
Debriefing the special session
Eliza Madrigal: OOPS [ELiza had briefly crashed or flew away somewhere]
Eden Haiku: You took a little dip into Being?
Eliza Madrigal: even in dream circle there is a process then a letting go of it....
Eliza Madrigal: I love your beautiful and classic clothing today, btw
Eliza Madrigal: and yes I think I was 'caught up'
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, we will become more subtle in time I suppose...
Eden Haiku: :::beaming:::
Eden Haiku: I like the focus on silence and not interrupting
Eliza Madrigal: yes...
Eliza Madrigal: with the sessions being open there will always be a bit of chaos... don't want to stamp it out... but I guess there is a refinement....
Eden Haiku: So I guess it's a matter of playing with the rules.
Eliza Madrigal: I thought this was quite meaningful today
Eliza Madrigal: YES!!
Eden Haiku: It was much fun and meaningful, yes.
Eliza Madrigal: thank you again :) I was happy you could make it with as busy as your life and family have been
Eden Haiku: I discovered I could say hello and goodbyes in IM, so not interrupting the flow in local chat.
Eliza Madrigal: good idea!
Eden Haiku: That could be a nice way to do it, to ask people to do that in IM?
Eliza Madrigal:yes that seems positive...
Eliza Madrigal: hadn't really considered it
[I'm editing out the more personal parts of our conversation, leaving only what concerns this special session]
Eden Haiku: I'm really willing to experiment with that in this session. I will get a bigger picture after seeing Pema's session Saturday at 7 PM, Maxine at Sunday at 1 pm and Wester Tuesday at 1am.[ At least reading the logs!]
Eliza Madrigal: Hm, not sure either... I bet he'll be surprised you jumped in so quickly
[...]
Eliza Madrigal: back to basics :))))
Eliza Madrigal: thank you again my friend... don't want to keep you longer...
Eden Haiku: Was lovely having you here for this new experiment Eliza :)
Eden Haiku: We make everything so natural and easy!
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Much! Yes... guess that's part of it all.. learning to flow... :)
