The Guardian for this meeting was Calvino Rabeni. The comments are by Calvino Rabeni.
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Yaku!
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
Zon Kwan: gtg, byea
Bruce Mowbray: mysterious . . .
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Calvino!
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey cal
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Cal
Calvino Rabeni: Hello everyone, Bruce, Yaku, 0
Calvino Rabeni: The pause bell is almost upon us
--BELL--
Bruce Mowbray wonders who normally claims this session.
Yakuzza Lethecus: aga is the guardian, i hope she's well
Yakuzza Lethecus: haven't heard from her in a while after she was back
Bruce Mowbray: Oh -- well then, I will calim it if no one else want to.
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I'm concerned about Aggers.
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks Cal.
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Ara!
oO0Oo Resident: Hi arabella
arabella Ella: Hiya everyone!
Yakuzza Lethecus: good evening ara
arabella Ella: apologies Bruce for landing on you with my stilettos!
arabella Ella: hope it was not too painful
oO0Oo Resident: lol
Bruce Mowbray: Ha ha!
Bruce Mowbray: My pleasure -- no problem.
arabella Ella: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Are any of you acquainted with the writings of Stephen Batchelor?
arabella Ella: no?
arabella Ella is still rezzing slow today
oO0Oo Resident: a small amount
Bruce Mowbray: OK. I'm reading Batchelor's "Alone with Others" right now -- re-reading it actually.
Bruce Mowbray: and . . . Oh Samuo, OK.
oO0Oo Resident: great title
arabella Ella: is oh samuo a title?
Bruce Mowbray: His is a rather un-orthodox approach to Buddhist practice -- one that disregards both Karma and Reincarnation.
Calvino Rabeni: Bruce, I never heard of that title, is it the "Skeptical Zen" author?
Calvino Rabeni: Yes
Bruce Mowbray: wb, Korel!
Korel Laloix: heya
Bruce Mowbray: Some would say he's "skeptical," yes.
Calvino Rabeni: BUT I was contemplating that topic today, coincidentally
arabella Ella: Hiya Korel!
Calvino Rabeni: what are you gathering?
Calvino Rabeni: Hello Korel!
Korel Laloix: osiyo
Bruce Mowbray: Well, this is the third of his books that I've read -- and he's developing a theme of existential living. . .
Bruce Mowbray: based on Buddhist principles, of course.
Bruce Mowbray: What has really grabbed me today is the disctinction between "Having" and "Being" - - -
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Eliza!
Yakuzza Lethecus: hi eliza
Korel Laloix: What is existential living?
Calvino Rabeni: Korel, you have been here before, maybe with Freud, perhaps?
Korel Laloix: I have..... I am the new Freud Jungsten.
Bruce Mowbray: Not only been here with Freud - but AS Freud!
Calvino Rabeni: :)
Bruce Mowbray: The Being -- in life, rather than the Having.
arabella Ella: Hiya Eliza!
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bruce, Arabella, Korel, Calvino, oO0Oo, Yakuzza and Bixton
Calvino Rabeni: Being might be contrasted with Doing
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Miralee :)
Miralee Munro: Good morning everyone
arabella Ella: Hiya Miralee!
Calvino Rabeni: Hi welcome Miralee :)
oO0Oo Resident: hello Miralee :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning miralee :)
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Miralee!
Miralee Munro smiles
Calvino Rabeni: The name of this place is Play as Being - usually I think the interactions are "Play" and the meditation is "Being"
Calvino Rabeni: so in terms of the time we spend, its lots of Play and a little Being :)
arabella Ella: there were times in the past though Calvino when the focus was more on Being here
Calvino Rabeni: Yes arabella
Bruce Mowbray: Well, if one thinks of Having as being the X Axis -- then Being is the Y axis -- (horizontal and vertical) -- but I don't want to get too intellectual with this).
Calvino Rabeni: Let's not get too intellectual, that's too tricky to maintain "Being" while the intellect is running :)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, please get intellectual with this... that's a very interesting line of thought....
Bruce Mowbray: ha!
Eliza Madrigal: quite visual
Calvino Rabeni: :) Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: well, let's call that line of thought something else then... heheh
Korel Laloix: My brain understands graphs so yes.... please go with that.
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Calvino Rabeni: After the SL retreat, there seems to be a feeling about needing to return more toward Being as a experience
Eliza Madrigal: Yes Cal... to be direct
Yakuzza Lethecus: actually i read a poem about being earlier :)
Bruce Mowbray: Well, . . . . It's not really about intellect, though. It's about an alignment with the events and things one encounters in experience.
Calvino Rabeni: Yes
Bruce Mowbray: Do we relate to them as "Having" them (or not having them) or do we relate to sharing - interacting - with Being to them?
oO0Oo Resident: poem yaku?
Eliza Madrigal listens Ya...
Yakuzza Lethecus: When the early morning light quietly grows above the mountains'. The world's darkening never reaches to the light of Being. We are too late for the gods and too early for Being. Being's poem, just begun, is man. To head toward a star'this only. To think is to confine yourself to a single thought that one day stands still like a star in the world's sky.
Bruce Mowbray: Wow! THANK you, Yaku!
oO0Oo Resident: aww, that's beautiful
Yakuzza Lethecus: actually it's by heidegger
Eliza Madrigal: Beautiful!
--BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Mick!
Mickorod Renard: :)
oO0Oo Resident smiles at Mickorod
Mickorod Renard: howdy doodi
Miralee Munro smiles
arabella Ella: that is lovely Yaku thanks!
Eliza Madrigal: :) Mick, Hello
Mickorod Renard: Hi:)
Calvino Rabeni: Where does one "go" during the mindfulness pause?
Calvino Rabeni: Into "self"? Into the "field" that contains us all?
Calvino Rabeni: Into an "internal" head space of thoughts?
Calvino Rabeni: Into "the body" through sensations?
Miralee Munro: To your higher self?
Miralee Munro: Into the universal mind?
Calvino Rabeni: A little of that, Mira :) yes
Mickorod Renard: during the mindfulness pause I,,,,go and wash pots cook tea a make cofee and put a wash on
Calvino Rabeni: Naughty :)
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Miralee Munro: Only a little, Cal?
Calvino Rabeni: Yes a little, because "Me" does not dissolve
Calvino Rabeni: I get a mix
Bruce Mowbray: "Go" horizontally -- "Go" vertically?
Bruce Mowbray: I go a lot of places.
Eliza Madrigal: lately there is more of a 'void' sensibility... like when one is under anesthesia and wakes refreshed though it feels like just a flash
Calvino Rabeni: I like that "fresh" feeling :)
Mickorod Renard: the flash sounds fun
Eliza Madrigal: but that's just a lately thing... I'd say 'a mix is a good description mostly :)
Eliza Madrigal: going and letting go at once...
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Bleu!
Mickorod Renard: variety is the spice of life..so they say
Mickorod Renard: Hi Bleu
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)
Calvino Rabeni: Hmm, what if the session was all Being with four 90 second periods of Action ? That's possible (although unlikely) and in the range of human capabilities :)
Bruce Mowbray: Do the various parts of the mix have anything to say to each other?
Calvino Rabeni: Oh I like that question Bruce
Calvino Rabeni: The parts of the mix might have something to "say" or something to "offer"
arabella Ella: Hiya Bleu!
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Bleu
Eliza Madrigal: a question that makes one pause....
Miralee Munro: Mmmmmmm .... I have just woken and definitely for me ... my desire at the moment is just to float and gradually 'awake'. I wonder if that is connected to 'achieving mindfulness'?
Calvino Rabeni: Yes, when I have that experience
Calvino Rabeni: it's an opportunity, even a well known practice
Calvino Rabeni: Mindfullness is fickle - it's challenged by times of transition
Calvino Rabeni: (although in another way challenged by times of "no change")
Bruce Mowbray pauses -- and wonders if "Mindfulness" is an achievement or an acceptance, an eruption of Being that one encounters here/now.
Bleu Oleander: mindfulness as a state of being?
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Zen
Zen Arado: Hi all
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Zen!
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Zen :)
arabella Ella: Hiya Zen!
Mickorod Renard: sometimes strugle with the time out as I have so much to do I get fed up with the slowing down,,but if treated properly the timelessness of the period is fruitful in allowing clarity of thought
Calvino Rabeni: One thing useful for "doers" and "performance oriented" orientation, is the idea that mindfulness can support more effective action the rest of the time
Calvino Rabeni: which is well known by artists, martial artists, athletes, etc.
Calvino Rabeni: I think it cuts down on the amount of sleep I need
Miralee Munro: Mmmmm .... interesting.
Bruce Mowbray ponders "Flow" and "The Zone"
Eliza Madrigal nods.. was considering that 'stopping' brings a lot to fruition in a way....
Miralee Munro: Yes, I was just thinking of 'The Zone'
Calvino Rabeni: Agree Eliza
Mickorod Renard: me too eliza
Zen Arado: are concentration and mindfulness the same?
Zen Arado: or what's the difference?
Calvino Rabeni: Nope, not as people often use the words
Calvino Rabeni: Don't think about the words and their definitions, think about the mind and its capabilities
Mickorod Renard: Hi Bertie
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Bert!
Zen Arado: Hi Bert, Alf :)
Alfred Kelberry: hey, pablings :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bert, Satia, and Alf :)
Mickorod Renard: Alfie
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Boxy.
Zen Arado: Hi Satia
Miralee Munro: Hi there Bert, Satia and Alfred
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Satia!
Mickorod Renard: Hi satia
Alfred Kelberry: um, is it the circle thing this session?
--BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey all new
Calvino Rabeni: Not this time, Boxy
Bruce Mowbray: No, Boxy -- that was this morning.
Mickorod Renard: I find the word concentration a puzzle
Mickorod Renard: shh
Eliza Madrigal giggles... always a kind of circle thing Alf
Alfred Kelberry: ok :)
Zen Arado: we can't talk without using words
Alfred Kelberry: we can use gestures
Zen Arado: that sounds daft
Alfred Kelberry: body movement
Bertram Jacobus: shh ;-)
Alfred Kelberry: could be erotic :)
Bertram Jacobus: ty :o)
Zen Arado: sorry forgot
Bertram Jacobus: np ! ;-)
Mickorod Renard: concentration and focus can sometimes be at the expense of periferal observation,,I prefer a hightened openness
Calvino Rabeni: In the pause, I noticed - I feel mindfulness is more basic than concentration, and necessary to be able to concentrate
Calvino Rabeni: yes Mick
Calvino Rabeni: field awareness
Alfred Kelberry: mick, "hightened openness" - how's that?
Bleu Oleander: mindful state is a mindful awareness, a process of receptivity that seems quite diff from the stimulus-driveness of attention or concentration
Miralee Munro: Where does 'focus' come in?
Mickorod Renard: I made it up Alfred, to sort of describe what I meant
Zen Arado: open awareness vs single pointedness?
Alfred Kelberry: um, ok :)
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Mickorod Renard: open awareness sounds better,,thanks Zen
Alfred Kelberry: ha! "single pointedness" - i like that, zen :)
Calvino Rabeni: Concentration usually assumes an Object or a focus, but it is the mindfulness that makes it possible to hold both self and object at once ... without that there's no directed attention
Zen Arado: but meditation teachers advise developing concentration first as a base
Eliza Madrigal: concentration does imply 'on' something... maybe can be 'on' nothing... or 'on' mind....
Calvino Rabeni: agree, Eliza
Calvino Rabeni: What comes first as a base is only a first step in practice
Bleu Oleander: yes Zen
Calvino Rabeni: usually as a corrective to the training people already have
Mickorod Renard: Eliza,,whats that word I always forget?
Zen Arado: mindfulness is more an absence of repetitive thinking
Mickorod Renard: :0
Bruce Mowbray ponders Mindfulness as formless potentiality.
Zen Arado: to me
Eliza Madrigal: but I suppose it is different for each of us at various points... so I like "I made it up" on the spot best :))
Calvino Rabeni: @bruce, the vacuum state in which anything can arise
Korel Laloix: GOt to do that RL thing.. Ciao all.
Bruce Mowbray: Mindfulness as suspension of habitual mental processes.
Calvino Rabeni: Bye Korel
Bleu Oleander: "I made it up" ..... did I miss that Eliza?
Zen Arado: bye KOrel
Mickorod Renard: bye Coral
arabella Ella: bye Korel
Eliza Madrigal: Bleu, Mick's response to Alfred...
Yakuzza Lethecus: bye korel, isn??t that tomorrow ?
Calvino Rabeni: Suspension of one process makes new ones possible
Bleu Oleander: oh ok thanks
Zen Arado: mindfulness is our natural state of non doing maybe
Calvino Rabeni: Consider - "Drop who you Are to see what you Have"
Mickorod Renard: there is a word in budhism that describes a state where one is blissful yet aware
Zen Arado: mindfulness = being?
Bruce Mowbray: Suppose I habitually feel a need to judge things -- to have an opinion about things and about people, etc. . . and suppose that I suspend that habit. . .
Zen Arado: samadhi?
Mickorod Renard: no
Eliza Madrigal: hmmm, thinking Mick...
Bleu Oleander: I don't think mindfulness is necessarily non-doing .... that's my take on it
Eliza Madrigal: funny word though, 'mind full ness'... we want things to be full of mind? are we noticing that they are?
Calvino Rabeni: Suppose that, Bruce .. then what happens
Calvino Rabeni: Probably you "see" more of those persons
Eliza Madrigal: suchness Mick? :)
Bruce Mowbray: Potential happens.
Calvino Rabeni: and feel more in response to what you notice
Zen Arado: 'paying attention' is one definition of mindfulness
Calvino Rabeni: and get more skillful inrelating
Calvino Rabeni: all side effects of dropping the habit
Mickorod Renard: but I think about it lots...and in a way, there is something nice in the practice that incorporates the essence of the 90 seconds
Zen Arado: and drifting off into the past and future
Mickorod Renard: no, not suchness
Zen Arado: not*
Calvino Rabeni: The practice - as a doorway
Zen Arado: a doorway into now?
Bruce Mowbray: an opening. . .
Calvino Rabeni: Into I think, Bruce was talking about potentialities
Mickorod Renard: thats nice Zen..yes
Bleu Oleander: a doorway into the mind?
Mickorod Renard: we are all to often somewhere else
Calvino Rabeni: Now as we often think of it is a fairly small place
Calvino Rabeni: but going into "now" can be the doorway into eternity and potentiality
Mickorod Renard: exactly
Zen Arado: now is all there is
Bruce Mowbray: Mindfulness as a doorway into a larger space -- or Mindfulness as the Space itself?
Calvino Rabeni: if one has reality as an "idea" of how it is, that's limited compared to seeing how it actually is
Bertram Jacobus: and why "now" in quotation marks ? :-)
Calvino Rabeni: so seeing how it actually is, is a doorway into seeing it as a field of unfolding possibilities
Zen Arado: yes
Zen Arado: the full catastrophe
Calvino Rabeni: heh hooray Zorba
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Zen Arado: the fullness and richness of life
Bruce Mowbray: So (returning to thoughts about Stephen Batchelor), Mindfulness is not something that we "have" but, rather, something that we "Are." Being rather than Having?
Bleu Oleander: mindfulness heightens the capacity to become filled by the senses of the moment, the now, and attuned to our own state of being?
Calvino Rabeni: Bruce, what does the phrase "Alone with Others" mean in that book you're reading?
Eliza Madrigal: capacity... yes that sets off a bell Bleu
Bruce Mowbray: The "Alone" part, I think, puts emphasis on the existential nature of our lives.
Zen Arado: isn't it a phrase from Sartre?
Bruce Mowbray: The "condemned to be free" sort of thing -- but not in a negative way.
Bleu Oleander: capacity ....that wider sky thing :)
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: I read the book one time
Mickorod Renard: equinimity,,is the word I keep forgetting
Mickorod Renard: sorry
Eliza Madrigal: Ah!
Eliza Madrigal: yes :)
Bruce Mowbray: yeah, I think it's from Sartre - - whose vocabulary seems to frame a large part of the existentialist thought following him, unfortunately.
Zen Arado: must look at it again
Zen Arado: then we can discuss Bruce :)
--BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: equanimity -- a wonderful space.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i got to sleep, be well everyone *hopes aggers is well* night
Calvino Rabeni: Too much Agency, or too much Communion, without their complement, both lead to isolation and loneliness - that's the key puzzle, dilemma, Koan of human relating
Mickorod Renard: bye Yaku
Zen Arado: bye Yaku
Miralee Munro: Goodnight Yakuzza ... you end your day and I begin mine.
arabella Ella: bye Yaku
Miralee Munro: We are all just workers in the salt mine.
Miralee Munro: lol
Eliza Madrigal: Nite Ya :) yes I hope Aggers is well too
arabella Ella: yes is there any news from Aggers?
Mickorod Renard: yea,,how is ags?
Eliza Madrigal: not sure... she was here two weeks ago but seemed weak..
Bruce Mowbray: She's not been seen in a long while, and we're concerned.
Eliza Madrigal: the computer might be draining
arabella Ella: could we all send her positive feelings in the next pause?
Eliza Madrigal: Nice idea Ara :)
Alfred Kelberry: yes, please, ara
Bertram Jacobus: yes wonderful ara !
Bruce Mowbray: Oh yes, thank you for that suggestion.
Zen Arado: yes
Mickorod Renard: yes,,lovely
Bleu Oleander: we might all try to send email messages too
Mickorod Renard: yes, that too is great idea Bleu
Eliza Madrigal nods... yes just check in
Calvino Rabeni: Well another dilemma of mindfulness is that it opens vulnerability, including to wonderful things as well as to anxieties
arabella Ella: yes but we should not all be overwhelming with email
Calvino Rabeni: I think Brene Brown's talk is good on that http://www.ted.com/talks/brene_brown_on_vulnerability.html
Eliza Madrigal: light emails will prob be okay... no pressure to respond
arabella Ella: so possibly I would suggest Eliza or Calvino as two ppl on the committee
Bruce Mowbray: THAT is ONE WONDERFUL TALK!
oO0Oo Resident: :)
Calvino Rabeni nods enthusiastically about her talks
Eliza Madrigal: AGREE! I watched it with my daughter....
Calvino Rabeni: A lot of it is in the feeling-spirit
Calvino Rabeni: not just the concepts
Eliza Madrigal: very comforted by its tone of acceptance and being real :)
Bruce Mowbray ponders Mindfulness as willingness to stay in the vulnerability of the Open Question.
oO0Oo Resident sighs, breathes out
Calvino Rabeni: Indeed, it's a powerful thing
Calvino Rabeni: Creating a "holding"
Calvino Rabeni: and naming things to make them seem friendlier
Bruce Mowbray: no shame -- no blame -- especially toward oneselt.
Bruce Mowbray: oneself*
Bleu Oleander: oops .... no more time for mindfulness .... rl can be a problem .... bye for now :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) Bleu
Eliza Madrigal: bye for now
Bruce Mowbray: Be thee well, Bleu.
Zen Arado: categorizing everything as Good or bad and then trying to control life to give us good and not bad
Mickorod Renard: bye
arabella Ella: bye Bleu
Zen Arado: bye Bleu
Mickorod Renard: bye i mean to who has left
Eliza Madrigal will slip away after the next pause, no need to say byes I've been storing them up... hehe
Calvino Rabeni: Brown reframes "shame" to see it as a variety of a great and natural human thing, which is the desire to be connected -- or rather, the FACT that we ARE connected
Mickorod Renard: so does that include some humbleness Cal?
Calvino Rabeni: lots :)
Mickorod Renard: :)
Eliza Madrigal: positive humility
Zen Arado: if we are all connected we can't feel superior to others
Zen Arado: we are the others
Bruce Mowbray: Vulnerability to being shamed seems such a powerful mental habit. . .
Bruce Mowbray: It disconnects us from our interactions and connections.
Bruce Mowbray: or warps them.
Calvino Rabeni: Connected in a good way ... well shame connects people in a negative kind of way, one they are connected by don't feel a good feeling of connection. That's painful
Bruce Mowbray: But Zen is right -- we are ALL of it.
Eliza Madrigal: conditioning wise it has been used for control in many ways from the time people are young... so seeing that and letting it go... powerful
Mickorod Renard: for sure,,maybe not easy
Eliza Madrigal: maybe an ongoing process
Bruce Mowbray: Mindfulness as a way of "letting go" (of habitual shaming, habitual dis-connection. . . )
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: agree Eliza
Zen Arado: think we all tend to try to control
--BELL--
arabella Ella: my metaphor for this is like a duck which never allows itself to get wet as water does not penetrate through the feathers
Miralee Munro: Will you all please excuse me? I'm going to have some one on one time with Brene Brown
Miralee Munro: XXXXX
arabella Ella thinking of Aggers ...
Mickorod Renard: lovely
Eliza Madrigal: :) Thank you dear friends. Namaste'
Mickorod Renard: bye Eliza
Zen Arado: bye Eliza
Bruce Mowbray: Be thee happy, Eliza.
oO0Oo Resident: bye Eliza
Mickorod Renard: :)
Calvino Rabeni: I need to attend to some things - might be back shortly though
Mickorod Renard: kk Cal
oO0Oo Resident: OK Cal
Calvino Rabeni: so medium sized "BRB"
Calvino Rabeni: :)
Bruce Mowbray: ok, Cal.
Mickorod Renard: :)
Zen Arado: ok bye BFN Cal
Bertram Jacobus: :-)
Bruce Mowbray: ;)
Alfred Kelberry: thank you for the company :)
oO0Oo Resident: ty b
Zen Arado: bye Alf
Bruce Mowbray: Bye bye, Boxy. . . Thanks for being with us today.
Mickorod Renard: bye Boxie
Mickorod Renard: I need to sneak away
Zen Arado: bye Mick
Bruce Mowbray: OK, Mick. Thank you for sharing.
Mickorod Renard: thankyou for a nice evening
Bertram Jacobus waves to mick ... :-)
Mickorod Renard: see you all soon
Mickorod Renard: :)
oO0Oo Resident: take care and ty
arabella Ella: bye Mick
Zen Arado: it kinda breaks the flow when people leave
Zen Arado: we should forbid them to leave :)
Bruce Mowbray: yeah. . . as they flow on to other things . . .
arabella Ella: then i'll leave with the flow too :)
arabella Ella: bye everyone!
Bruce Mowbray: OK, ara. Thanks for sharing today/
Zen Arado: bye Ara
Bertram Jacobus: bye ara *wave*
oO0Oo Resident: bye bye
Bruce Mowbray seeks a metaphor for the flowing in and out. . .
Bertram Jacobus: r5evolving door ? ;-)
Zen Arado: waves?
Satia Ruby: -5
Bertram Jacobus: ty dear *g+
Satia Ruby: :-P
oO0Oo Resident: Taijitu Bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: ?
oO0Oo Resident: the Yin Yang symbol
Zen Arado: "Listen! you hear the grating roar Of pebbles which the waves draw back, and fling, At their return, up the high strand, Begin, and cease, and then again begin, With tremulous cadence slow, and bring The eternal note of sadness in."
Bruce Mowbray: Oh -- Good -- . . . Flowing in and out as Tao.
Zen Arado: "The Sea of Faith Was once, too, at the full, and round earth's shore Lay like the folds of a bright girdle furled. But now I only hear Its melancholy, long, withdrawing roar,"
oO0Oo Resident: alone with others
Bruce Mowbray: Mmmmm. . . .
Bertram Jacobus: the yin yang symbol is so uncredibly deep to me ... as no other i know ...
Bruce Mowbray agrees with Bert.
Zen Arado: form and emptiness?
Bruce Mowbray looks at the top of the I Ching sticks box that Mick made. . . and sees the Ying/Yang symbol there.
Bertram Jacobus: for me more duality and the so to say "whole" - and yes : in this way also form and emptiness
oO0Oo Resident smiles inwardly
Bruce Mowbray meant to type "Yin/Yang" not YING/Yang. . .
Bruce Mowbray: shame on Bruce!
Zen Arado: think they spell it that way too Bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: Oh GOOD! No more shame for me, then!
Zen Arado: have to watch video again
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, it is wonderful.
Zen Arado: didn't pick up on the shame part
Zen Arado: I'm ashamed to say :)
--BELL--
Bertram Jacobus: we??ll leave - ty all - may all beings be happy plz ! ... :-)
Zen Arado: bye Bert, Satia
Satia Ruby: ??? have a nice time all :)
oO0Oo Resident smiles at Bertie and Satia
Zen Arado: you too
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, Satia. Be well and Happy.
Bertram Jacobus: ty again :-)
Satia Ruby: with bert.. always :)
Bruce Mowbray: Bye Bert -- you be happy and well, too.
oO0Oo Resident: I also will go. ty all
Bruce Mowbray: ok.
Zen Arado: looks like quitting time
oO0Oo Resident: take care
Zen Arado: bye 0 and Bruce
oO0Oo Resident: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Thank you all.
Bruce Mowbray: Be well. and Good night.
Zen Arado: bye
