Aphrodite Macbain: watching over my mother during the holidays was hard - the grief was just under the surface and she tried so hard not to give in to it.

Aphrodite Macbain: I felt that it would be good if she cried. We fear those strong emotions so much!
SophiaSharon Larnia: i had an oddball idea the other day, if you can become enlightened by become one with a sound, can you become enlightened by becoming one with anything, such as sorrow

oO0Oo Resident: there was the question about why evil is not discussed so much here, and it seems to me to flow naturally from the sharing that goes on, and an aspiration that arises to care for others and be real but not excessiviely dark in that spirit
