The Guardian for this meeting was Riddle Sideways. The comments are by Riddle Sideways. Who did Not do the majority of speaking this week :)  (for once).

                 --BELL--
Slow/quiet start to this morning.  It's okay, we stayed an hour extra.
Riddle Sideways: good Morning, Listener Master
                 --BELL--
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Eldir
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Observerm
Riddle Sideways: was just sitting here quietly
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Io
    Io Larkspur: Hi, Riddle.
Io Larkspur: slow rezzing this morning-
Io Larkspur: Hello, Eldir -- good to have you back.
Riddle Sideways: take your time, it is a slow morning
Eldir's chat text does not seem to be in the log.  Maybe the recorder range does not reach as far as          the chat distance.  Eldir seems to be on a text-only viewer and can move closer.
Riddle Sideways: eldir you are by the sign
Riddle Sideways: would you like to move over here?
Io Larkspur: Actually, it's Io -- (like the moon around Jupiter) -- and nope, I can't see you yet, Eldir.
Io Larkspur: np -- I coming over to where you are, Eldir.
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Io Larkspur: bye!

Riddle Sideways: this computer is lagging a lot today
    Riddle Sideways: very quiet morning
Io Larkspur: might have something to do with the big snow storm in the eastern US.
    Riddle Sideways: maybe
Riddle Sideways: there had to push cat off desk... was right in the way
Io Larkspur: Ha! Well, that might help the rezzing -- or maybe not.
Riddle Sideways: old cat is set in her ways
Riddle Sideways: does not want to be moved
                 --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: are you caught in snow storm?
Io Larkspur: My typist is a bit like your cat -- old and set in his ways.
    Riddle Sideways: lol
Io Larkspur: Yep -- a big snow storm -
Io Larkspur: although we're better off with it than folks south and east of us.
Io Larkspur: all the schools are closed here and there's no traffic on the road.
Riddle Sideways: was listening about Atlanta
Riddle Sideways: they do not know how to deal with it
Io Larkspur: Yes -- very unusual for them.
Io Larkspur: and how about Australia --
    Io Larkspur: wow!
    Riddle Sideways: wow is right
Io Larkspur: Brisbane is practically washing away.
Riddle Sideways: it was already flooding
Riddle Sideways: and they got more
Io Larkspur: yes -- a 26-foot tall wall of water.
Riddle Sideways: huge trees being torn down
    Io Larkspur: indeed.
Io Larkspur: not healthy for little elephants ...
    Riddle Sideways: no
oops, forget to mention I am the little elephant (not Ganesha) today.  [Have yet to notice a       different attitude in self or other will this avi]

Riddle Sideways: even elephants would not like it
         Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
         Io Larkspur: Hey, Yaku.
         Riddle Sideways: ah, Hi Yak
Io Larkspur: We were talking about the weather in the eastern USA and also in Australia, Yaku.
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, i am glad that the snow in germany just meltet
Yakuzza Lethecus: only on minor roads there is still some ice left on the sides

Riddle Sideways: weather, weather. Everybody talks about it, nobody does anything about it :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, the chinese did :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: for olypia
Io Larkspur: I'm doing something about it -- I'm staying inside.
Yakuzza Lethecus: or for example in the south of germany there are also weather pilots active
    Riddle Sideways: good move
    Yakuzza Lethecus: against possible ,,hagelschauer"
    Yakuzza Lethecus: with ,,silberjodit"
Io Larkspur wonders what that means.
    Riddle Sideways: needs translator
Riddle Sideways: ephant does not have it
Riddle Sideways: weather pilots? are they like storm troopers?
    Riddle Sideways: [bad joke]
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, they bring iodite into the clouds to prevent hailstorms
Yakuzza Lethecus: so there will be rain
Io Larkspur: Oh yes, I recall hearing about that.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think that´s even an old method
    Riddle Sideways: yes, now remember
Riddle Sideways: they are doing something about it
Io Larkspur: so that would definitely be doing something about the weather, then.
Riddle Sideways: seems it would be 10 years ago we would be living in a completely controlled weather systems
Yakuzza Lethecus: also here in germany there is a lot of issues with flooding then lately since the snow melted through rain ,,very fast"
Riddle Sideways: headline: By the year 2000 you will be ...
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, i don´t think so :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: well, being appreciating the weather there is
Riddle Sideways: snow melting and clouds raining
    Riddle Sideways: = flood
Yakuzza Lethecus: there was a lot of rain in california as well lately
Yakuzza Lethecus: i remember all the news about it
Riddle Sideways: week or more ago
(=old news)[ala Stephen Wright or some other comic: "Old New" what the hell is "Old New"]
Riddle Sideways: way south of me
Yakuzza Lethecus: yeah, up to ariziona
Riddle Sideways: but, makes the news so ppl call to ask
Riddle Sideways: like I called my friends in geogia
Factoid: Today there was snow in 49 of the 50 states of us.
Io Larkspur: Are you in the Bay Area, Riddle?
    Riddle Sideways: close
    Riddle Sideways: called central coast
Io Larkspur: I lived in Berkeley for seven years in my early 20's
    Riddle Sideways: Monterey/Carmel
Io Larkspur: Ohhh -- Beautiful area!
Riddle Sideways: Daugther just started living in Berkeley in her almost 20's
Io Larkspur: 17 Mile Drive -- I remember it well!
    Riddle Sideways: ah
                      --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: we have some tourist areas
[like adding comments, can add the parts I never was able to add during conversation]
but, we put those areas off to the side, so none of us have to actually go near the tourists.

Io Larkspur: excuse me -- going to try to locate Bruce now. brb.
Yakuzza Lethecus: being appreciating weather and geographie
    Riddle Sideways: BAWG
    Riddle Sideways: BAWaG
        Riddle Sideways: Hi Bruce
        Yakuzza Lethecus: hey bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: Whew!
Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Yaku and Riddle.
Bruce Mowbray: A slow morning - in more ways than one!

Riddle Sideways: ummmm, why do you run into bushes to rez
Riddle Sideways: we are all adults here :)
Bruce Mowbray: Couldn't get any response from hitting the forward key -- then ZOOOOMMMM into the bushes.
Bruce Mowbray: Yeah -- but doing a Rhia is not my style.

Alert: here comes the topic de jour
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, i sometimes wonder how to develop a sense of dropping for rl issues generally
    Bruce Mowbray: Good question, Yaku.
Yakuzza Lethecus: like issues concerns on future monetary income or sufficiant social critique and communication
Riddle Sideways: there are many ways/methods of doing it/those
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, how to factually engage and especially to create habits of engagement
Yakuzza Lethecus: to habitually seek problems before there is a stuckness going to appear, can you specify methods riddle ?
Riddle Sideways: one way, is to be an actor, your own avi
Riddle Sideways: just enough like you, but something changed
Riddle Sideways: then act out that part
Riddle Sideways: go to the party as the best party guest
Riddle Sideways: act it and become it
Riddle Sideways: sounds very trite to say "Just do it"
Riddle Sideways: but that has worked for me
Bruce Mowbray: Arch and I had a BIG LONG discussion about this question last night...
    Riddle Sideways: any conclusions?

Bruce Mowbray: and we compared our ways of dealing with issues like monetary challenges, stickness, and emotional reactiveness.
Bruce Mowbray: I told him that my "method" is to create a large "allowing" bubble -- and let it get larger and larger until I no longer feel the emotional pain or stuckness.
Riddle Sideways: seems to be the level of 'attachment'
Riddle Sideways: we have to any subject
Bruce Mowbray: allow more and more -- larger and larger allowing. . .
    Riddle Sideways: that's good

Yakuzza Lethecus: i can stick a long time to the same thoughts and find a rough time disconnecting especially in interpersonal relationships when i simply have the feeling of misscommunication but no communication with the persons anymore, but that the issue is still around

Bruce Mowbray: but Arch has a different "method."
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I understand that, Yaku -- I often get "stuck" in a thought-l;oop and will ruminate about something for hours or days.
Riddle Sideways: yes, repeating the same agruements/worries/thoughts over and over
    Riddle Sideways: making them crippling
Riddle Sideways: no room for other
Bruce Mowbray: Yes -- the thoughts begin to HAVE us rather than we having the thoughts.
Riddle Sideways: gently put them on the sidelines. saying I have to drive the car now
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, pab is not supposed to be a selfhelp group :P,
Yakuzza Lethecus: still dropping is a form of metal hygiene
                 --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: at least the form of dropping that i usually have in mind
Bruce Mowbray: When it is "dropping time," what Arch told me that he does is imagine he is dropping those thoughts into a river -- that carries them away. . . (sounds like GOOD mental hygiene to me).

Yakuzza Lethecus: well, it´s a nice metaphor yes, but the individual application
Yakuzza Lethecus: we can also write it on a paper and burn
Riddle Sideways: those thoughts are very child like and do not want to be tossed down the river many times
Bruce Mowbray: yes, I've done that too.
Bruce Mowbray: For me, though, it keeps changing and evolving --
Riddle Sideways: they need to be told that you will come back to them soon
Alfred Kelberry: hello, cute elephant :)
Bruce Mowbray: I rarely use the same method for more than a couple of days in a row.
Riddle Sideways: Hi cute little boxy
        Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Boxy!
Alfred Kelberry: hi, bruce and yaku :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey elegant box :)
Riddle Sideways: do I have your seat?
     Alfred Kelberry: no, it's fine
Yakuzza Lethecus: there is another one
      Alfred Kelberry: yep
Bruce Mowbray: I can make you a cushion wherever you'd like it, Boxy.
Riddle Sideways thanks bruce for the tiny seats
      Bruce Mowbray: yw. ;-)
Alfred Kelberry: i'm sure bruce can spawn more if needed :)
Riddle Sideways: at first I could not sit upon them correctly
Alfred Kelberry: ah, yes. thank you, bruce.
Alfred Kelberry: closer to the elephant :)
Riddle Sideways: then trying a different method
      Riddle Sideways: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Hang on -- I'm going to turn you now.
Riddle Sideways: if at first you do not succeed...
      Riddle Sideways: does that work?
      Alfred Kelberry: hey, you wink!
Yakuzza Lethecus: Bruce is such a MOOVING character :)
      Alfred Kelberry: yaku :)
      Bruce Mowbray: ha ha!

Bruce Mowbray: but back to our talk of getting un-stuck from our thoughts. . .
Riddle Sideways: like that when doing majik in SL there are little dots pointing to whom is doing what
Bruce Mowbray: Are there any methods of 'dropping' that work well for you Boxy, or Yaku?
        Riddle Sideways: hey, stop that
Yakuzza Lethecus: Well, one method it that of being multitasking and getting into known things but that´s just to cope with the thought and not a real dropping.
Bruce Mowbray: just getting you into the line of view for Bruce, Riddle. sry.
       Riddle Sideways: ok
Riddle Sideways: for years I practiced not being physically cut by the sword
Bruce Mowbray: Yeah, multi-tasking -- sort of like multi-distracting. but not "really' dropping (although what "dropping" means will differ among people).
Riddle Sideways: before seeing there was a physco-psycho metaphor going on
Yakuzza Lethecus: actually i see the stuggle around the definitions also as a big issue around contemplation
Bruce Mowbray: yes, but when it comes right down to ist, Yaku, I feel that the definitions are made through the experience - and that is an individual matter.

Yakuzza Lethecus: even "wu wei" is not a full ,,doing nothing" i see it more as a doing while having dropped the problem character and just having done
Bruce Mowbray: wowo. Good point, Yaku.
Bruce Mowbray: Can you say more about "not being cut by the sword"? please, riddle.
        Riddle Sideways: Hi Lugh
        Lugh Fehr: hellow butiful people
        Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Lugh.
        Yakuzza Lethecus: hey lugh
Riddle Sideways: years of martial arts
Bruce Mowbray: We have been discussing getting stuck in thoughts -- like obsession -- looping around and around. . .
Bruce Mowbray: and how "dropping" happens for us.
Riddle Sideways: doing physical not fighting
Riddle Sideways: to learn it can be mental not fighting too
                 --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: not need to get caught up in another's mental stuff
Riddle Sideways: even if other is self
Riddle Sideways: just get off the line
Lugh Fehr: ah tnx very intresting subject hehe looping
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, i have not been in physical fighting since my middle school time
Riddle Sideways: no!!! we do not get in phys fights
Riddle Sideways: but we do get in mental fights
Yakuzza Lethecus: ever sicne the fighting is mostly with myself
Lugh Fehr: i thinck the worst thing to do aginst looping is fight it the moor you fight a loop the stronger it gets
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yes
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: so step off that line
Lugh Fehr: hehe the good old ignor it and it goes away
Riddle Sideways: watch it go past
Riddle Sideways: no! not ignore it
Riddle Sideways: deal with it in 'another' way
Riddle Sideways: not the struggle way
Riddle Sideways: not the stuck way
Riddle Sideways: not the way that is not working
Riddle Sideways: step off that 'line'
         Mis-understood:
It took me 20+ years to get the above.  It took another 10 years to engrain it.  You are very smart, but many will not get it during this reading.  Someday, we will be in the same physical space and perhaps we could dance this play.
        Th
ere is a line that the sword will cut us.  There is a place not on that line, a centimeter away from that line that the sword will not cut.  We have the choice to not be on somebody else's cutting line.
        2. When one delivers a killing blow with a sword and misses...  There is disappointment (in the least). You need to be with them to work through that stage.
        3. when You attach Your self.  Cutting to kill with your sword... Step off the line.  Then counter.  with Love.

Bruce Mowbray: Arch told me last night, "Just throw it into the river that runs by you. . . and watch it float away."
Riddle Sideways: floating away could work for some, but some others need to be dealt with
Lugh Fehr: dealing whit it i find is still fighting it and after a while aceptance seem usless ever find that you know from the bottom of your haret that the loop is bull but still its their so then ither i express it or ignorr it
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I have been using a different method for the past couple of days.
Bruce Mowbray: When the "stuck thought" keeps rising and I can't seem to get "unstuck" from it,
Riddle Sideways: step off that line to another line
Bruce Mowbray: I see myself as a filter - a purification system of sorts - and let that thought go through my "filters" and then become healing for others. . .
Bruce Mowbray: so for example, rather than obsessing on my own problem with something,
Bruce Mowbray: I let the thought go through me, be filtered into goodness, and then go out to the folks in Arizona, or in Australia, or wherever people need help.
Bruce Mowbray: That works very well for me.
Bruce Mowbray: (and I also hope that it works for them!)
Yakuzza Lethecus: but do we only think of those who gain medial attention ?
Bruce Mowbray: also the homeless, the anxious, and anyone in need of healing, Yaku.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i liked to read about the man you wanted to
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yes
Yakuzza Lethecus: the homeless man you wanted to take in, that´s really what facinated me, but otherwise what´s getting my attention whats getting other ppl´s attention

Bruce Mowbray: Well, that man and I had a good telephone conversation over the weekend. and the date for his moving in has been set now.
Bruce Mowbray: I am really looking forward to getting to know him better.
Yakuzza Lethecus: what if the kids go to college and you have to make a lot of money to not leaving overdebted beings to the world or other practical things in our real life
Yakuzza Lethecus: did that went over some oranization ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: bruce, to take in the homeless
Lugh Fehr: looping dosent help youll need you phisical and mental strenght to help looping takes away that lopping is good for board poeple
Bruce Mowbray: No-- The guy found me through the Quaker website that I manage -- and called the phone number --
Bruce Mowbray: and then I shared it with the other Quakers. . .
Bruce Mowbray: and I finally decided (during our SL retreat a few weeks ago) to let him come here... until he can find a better place.
Lugh Fehr: ever had a song looping in your head ? thats kind of cool
                 --BELL--
Bruce Mowbray thinks that one of the reasons humans enjoying getting together is to distract them from their OWN thoughts by listening to the thoughts of others.
    Lugh Fehr: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, that´s sometimes true i guess
Yakuzza Lethecus: but you can also get lost exactly because of that in a bigger group
    Riddle Sideways: both true
Yakuzza Lethecus: you might have enough ppl you trust but none whom you grant the competence to really understand ur perceptions
Yakuzza Lethecus: that´s my biggest issue with sl btw. as soon as problems appear i have nearly noone to talk very often

Bruce Mowbray: Mmmmmm. . . . I understand, Yaku. In fact, that's how it is with me in RL most of the time.
Riddle Sideways: and most all of us
    Lugh Fehr: yup

Lugh Fehr: i thinck people who thinck alot about realaty have that problem

Bruce Mowbray: Do you mean, people who think "more deeply" -- not just superficial thoughts, Lugh?
Lugh Fehr: you sort of feel disconected you kinda see the stupidity in the situation but you still feel in it so a cetin blankness happens in your head hehe thatts the best way i can discribe it hehe yup thinck deeply
Bruce Mowbray: My experience in RL is that folks seem to be afraid of getting stuck in others' drama -- or else they feel that the other person is "too intense" - or something like that. . .
Bruce Mowbray: They feel that when folks interact, it should be to play happily -- not to work out problems, etc.
Bruce Mowbray: I am happy to have a dog who is happy to listen to all of my problems.
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, often it´s even hard to verbalize issues in their full complexity
Yakuzza Lethecus: so they are just ,,a blurry fear"
    Bruce Mowbray: yes.
Bruce Mowbray: sort of like not being completely rezzed.
                 --BELL--
Lugh Fehr: wow i thinck you guys get the problem i somtimes have hehe
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Riddle Sideways: common ailment
Yakuzza Lethecus: there goes the box
Bruce Mowbray: But -- as Yaku says -- if we had others who would lilsten -- then maybe we'd be able to "rez" our thoughts better.
        Bruce Mowbray: Bye, Boxy.
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, aspect of habitual meieutics
Riddle Sideways: sometimes talking to other people just lets them start talking :)
    Lugh Fehr: meieutics?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, yes
Riddle Sideways: they want to tell you that they have it worse
Yakuzza Lethecus: helping ppl to bring their thoughts to live
    Yakuzza Lethecus: "the socratic method"
Riddle Sideways: many times people want to show your problems in their light
    Lugh Fehr: whats meiutics?
Bruce Mowbray: Simply creating a large enough space -- without judgment or analysis - for others to be themselves -- that might be the finest gift we could give to another person.
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s this birthhelp of thoughts lugh
Yakuzza Lethecus: ,,the socratic method" through questioning further and further
    Riddle Sideways: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maieutics
Riddle Sideways: always need translator and wikipedia here
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, riddle, but our light is what we see

Yakuzza Lethecus: in anothers light there might not be a problem at all
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: so where are those shadows in the other persons view
Bruce Mowbray: Wow. Thanks for a new vocabulary word, Yaku.
Bruce Mowbray ponders being a "midwife" to another's thought process.
Riddle Sideways: yes, many times people can not see our shadows that are crippling us
Riddle Sideways: we are but dim lightbulbs
        Riddle Sideways: Hi Aph
Yakuzza Lethecus wonders if he got different associations to through a different environment today, i am at a friends home today
        Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Aph.
        Yakuzza Lethecus: hey aph

Yakuzza Lethecus: i think i never said that much in riddles session
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)

    Lugh Fehr: heya pah
Aphrodite Macbain: hi all- didn't expect to find anyone here at this time
    Lugh Fehr: aph
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Aphrodite Macbain: Is someone having a baby?
Riddle Sideways: was not going to comment, but you are more talkitive then ever

Bruce Mowbray: we are all always haveing "babies," Aph -- our thoughts. . . and we are midwives to each other in the birthing process of our thinking.
Aphrodite Macbain: we have to handle them gently
Aphrodite Macbain: make sure they are ours
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Lugh Fehr: hehe
Bruce Mowbray really enjoys it when Yaku shares his concerns. . . . and when everyone else does, too!
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, and how do we know that our thought-babies are "ours," Aph?
Bruce Mowbray: DNA testing for ownership of thoughts.
    Bruce Mowbray: ?
Aphrodite Macbain: that's the 64000 dollar question Bruce
                 --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: why does it matter?
Aphrodite Macbain: do we ever have an original or authentic thought?
Lugh Fehr: i thinck their like human bodys some are similer but their is always that variable hehe
    Lugh Fehr: are very similer*

Bruce Mowbray: The word "meme" comes to mind now. . . (coined by Richard Dawkins and Daniel Dennett) --
    Bruce Mowbray: http://www.ted.com/talks/dan_dennett...ous_memes.html
    Aphrodite Macbain: dangerous memes!
Yakuzza Lethecus: i often think that i can only choose what might have an influence on me but i can´t choose what i will be, other ppl might have an original thought but in their environment of influence it´s not original at all
Bruce Mowbray doubts that ANYTHING whatsoever is "original."
    Aphrodite Macbain: except sin
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-}
Bruce Mowbray: Perhaps there are "original combinations" of non-original parts.

Yakuzza Lethecus: i talk to my ipod and say "meme wikipedia" the one person wonders about the modern technique the other about the jerkish behavior the next one doesn´t even recognize

Bruce Mowbray: sin, especially, is NOT original.
Aphrodite Macbain: Scientists come up with original discoveries; formulae
Aphrodite Macbain: But they are based on accepted facts
    Riddle Sideways: lol @yak
Bruce Mowbray: sure, patenting requires originality -- but everything has a history. . .
Aphrodite Macbain: Having a hard time thinking this morning - blurry brain
Aphrodite Macbain: Too many cold drugs
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, Aph, we were discussing mental - npn-rezzing earlier today.
Riddle Sideways: are you better yet?
    Bruce Mowbray: non-rezzing*
Aphrodite Macbain: no - apparently I have bronchitis.
Riddle Sideways: that half rezzed feeling
Bruce Mowbray highly recommends the Neti pot.
Aphrodite Macbain: Could you explain that Bruce?
    Riddle Sideways: pot?
Bruce Mowbray: Well, earlier in this session, we were talking about having thoughts that were fuzzy -- not quite rexzzed..
Aphrodite Macbain: love the expression- half rezzed. Will use it again!

Bruce Mowbray: and how we can help each other by listening  to give birth to "rezzed" thoughts.
Aphrodite Macbain: Yes! Each of us sharpening it a bit further
Bruce Mowbray: Hep me out here, Yaku.
Aphrodite Macbain: What youi're saying makes fine sense
Aphrodite Macbain: I like the idea of us jointly polishing an idea till it gleams
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, that´s still something i like to explore but the propability is increased here :)
Aphrodite Macbain: here- being at the Pavillion?
Yakuzza Lethecus: at least by talking about this and not being looked at strangly by just mentioneing it
    Aphrodite Macbain: right
    Bruce Mowbray: yes.

Aphrodite Macbain: I don't even know how I could look at you strangely
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe
Bruce Mowbray: I am quite familiar with those "strange looks" folks give.
Yakuzza Lethecus: actaully i care less in sl then in rl
Lugh Fehr: so any ideas oh how to get ride of that funny un rezzed feeling
Yakuzza Lethecus: in rl i rarely ,,just talk to ppl"
Yakuzza Lethecus: in sl i often just do that
Riddle Sideways looks thru gestures... nope, no strange looks
Yakuzza Lethecus: in rl i never talked about mediation before the pab retreat
Aphrodite Macbain: I have one for looking embarrased
Bruce Mowbray: Well, Lugh, sometimes in RL (since I have no one who really cares about what I think) I will look up my ideas in books -- and read about how others have worked with those same ideas.
    Aphrodite Macbain I'm so embarrassed
Aphrodite Macbain: me/ Oh I'm so embrarrassed!

Bruce Mowbray: Recently, I have been working with "having" and "being" - and I have found the writings of Stephne Batchelor to be very helpful in "polishing up" my own thinking.
Aphrodite Macbain: Thanks Yaku- trhe last time I used a face animator I got stuck with a scowl
Bruce Mowbray: so reading is one way to get thoughts "rezzing."

    Bruce Mowbray: "Buddhism without Belifs"
    Bruce Mowbray: andBeliefs*
Bruce Mowbray: and "Living with the Devil"
    Bruce Mowbray: all excellent thought-rezzers.
    Aphrodite Macbain: Thank you!
Bruce Mowbray: The Being-Having theme is the major emphasis of "Alone with Others"
