    stevenaia Michinaga: greetings
    Kit Ciaco: hey
stevenaia Michinaga: how are you, anywhere near the recent snow belt?
    Kit Ciaco: LOL!
stevenaia Michinaga: I;m in the middle of it tonight
Kit Ciaco: Well, we're having more snow that we normally do -
Kit Ciaco: I'm just south of the M-D line

    --BELL--

    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Aubergine
    stevenaia Michinaga: nice unicycle
    Kit Ciaco: LOL
Kit Ciaco: I make these little puppies - they sell like hot cakes on the marketplace
Aubergine Mint: hi stevenaia and Kit
Kit Ciaco: thought I'd bring one out for a spin tonight
    Kit Ciaco: Hi, Binee
stevenaia Michinaga: hi Ginee, have you been here before?
    Aubergine Mint: yes I have
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
    stevenaia Michinaga: welcome back
    Aubergine Mint: thanks
    stevenaia Michinaga: greetings oOOOo
    Kit Ciaco: Yo, O!!!!!!!
    oO0Oo Resident: hello everybody
    oO0Oo Resident:  ;)
    Aubergine Mint: hi Samuo
stevenaia Michinaga: I am not sure how verbose I am feeling tonight, so if anyone has a topic, feel free
stevenaia Michinaga: but usually by saying that the words probably won;t stop
    oO0Oo Resident: :)))
Kit Ciaco: Not like me - I never say ANYTHING!
    Kit Ciaco: harharhar....
    stevenaia Michinaga: grins
stevenaia Michinaga: your profile says you write books, would love to hear the titles
    Kit Ciaco: hehehehe
Kit Ciaco: well, there ae several
Kit Ciaco: My favorite is Dandelions in Paradise
Kit Ciaco: Though I'm quite fond of Corban as well
Kit Ciaco: I guess they're like kids - you're not supposed to have a favorite
Kit Ciaco: Dear Anut Myrna is fun
stevenaia Michinaga: hmm, perhaps more than a title, are they fiction?
Kit Ciaco: Tea with Mrs Saunders, interesting and fun, and thankfully, really SHORT
    Kit Ciaco: autobio, I guess
Kit Ciaco: most of them are fiction of sorts, with just the tiniest hint of fantasy, like a sprinkle of salt
Kit Ciaco: Dandelions, for example, is the story of a newly departed
Kit Ciaco: and her summer spent in Paradise before returning to earth
stevenaia Michinaga: would love to ask how this would be autobiographical
    Kit Ciaco: LOL!!!!
Kit Ciaco: Well, I thought of that right after I said that
    stevenaia Michinaga: but I won;t
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Kit Ciaco: inasmuch as the main character is killed off in the first page and a half
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi stevenaia, Samuo, Kit and Aubergine :)
    Kit Ciaco: Hi, Sophie
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Sophia
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi SSL :)
    Aubergine Mint: hi Sophia
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Ginee :) sorry missed you
    Aubergine Mint: ok
SophiaSharon Larnia: eep never mind, not used to the names on the viewers yet :D
    SophiaSharon Larnia: heh
Aubergine Mint: do you prefer SSL?
stevenaia Michinaga: snow piling up Sophia?
SophiaSharon Larnia: anything really, Ginee, makes no difference to me
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes! Steve
Aubergine Mint: hard to know how people like their names abbreviated
    Kit Ciaco: interesting thought, names
SophiaSharon Larnia: :) i know what you mean
Kit Ciaco: especially in a world where we select our own
oO0Oo Resident: a thoughtful view to wonder, and ask Ginee
    Aubergine Mint: what's in a name ...
Kit Ciaco: or would a rose by any other name REALLY smell as sweet????
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hehe
Kit Ciaco: But how inmeshed is our selection of a name with our sense of identity?
Kit Ciaco: or is it enmeshed???
SophiaSharon Larnia: im the same no matter what my name is, i think, although i did feel very different as a rl blond :D
Kit Ciaco: I think the former....
stevenaia Michinaga: not to worry, I spellcheck the logs before they are posted
Kit Ciaco: I had a similar experience when I went tiny a few weeks ago
    Kit Ciaco: it was weird!
Kit Ciaco: I had been asked to make some tiny stuff so I needed to, you know, BE tiny
Kit Ciaco: and I actually felt a little different
oO0Oo Resident: SL is a good way to feel out many aspects of labeling
Kit Ciaco: And people also seemed to treat me differently
Kit Ciaco: Well, anyway, they told me I was CUTE more often.....
    oO0Oo Resident nods
SophiaSharon Larnia: can you say more?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: lol
stevenaia Michinaga: I've herd that about various avatar
Kit Ciaco: Can who say more?
SophiaSharon Larnia: you, i meant about your experiences in a dif avi
stevenaia Michinaga: although I have not felt is when I have changed
    Kit Ciaco: Well, it's interesting

    --BELL--

oO0Oo Resident: I can recall a first conversation with a tiny, and I kept saying how cute
Kit Ciaco: I actually have gone out of my way to make my avi resemble myself in rl, which I'm very comfortable with. And then going into such a foreign body was very strange - It gave me a better appreciation for folks who do select very different avis from rl..... I also really began to appreciate how being "different" impacts on self.
    Aubergine Mint: interesting
Kit Ciaco: Heck, I even found myself calling me cute~!
Kit Ciaco: And that was just WEIRD!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: heheh
stevenaia Michinaga: A good friend let me borrow their avatar , that was the most interesting experience
SophiaSharon Larnia: impact on self, yes.
    Kit Ciaco: wow
Kit Ciaco: like being in your friend's skin!
    oO0Oo Resident smiles in wonder
    Aubergine Mint: that sounds fun
stevenaia Michinaga: ye, who was I them or me
Kit Ciaco: I want O's skin!
oO0Oo Resident: hehe or to get under it?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    Kit Ciaco: LOL!
    Kit Ciaco: ya think????
SophiaSharon Larnia: is that possible ?
    Kit Ciaco smiles evil-like
    Kit Ciaco: who knows?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: grins
Kit Ciaco: Maybe tomorrow O and I will be dressed in one another's skins
Kit Ciaco: won't THAT be fun!!!!!
    Kit Ciaco: What? No good?
SophiaSharon Larnia: I made a male avatar the other day
Kit Ciaco: How was that for you?
stevenaia Michinaga: would be more interesting to have tw people share an avatar at the same time
SophiaSharon Larnia: all I did was buy freebies, so not much different LOL
oO0Oo Resident: It might be interesting to have a PaB session, where everyone wore identical outfits/avis
Kit Ciaco: Oh, yes, I agree, Steve
    stevenaia Michinaga: really Sophia? why?
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, i wouldn't have a prob with that Samuo :)
    Kit Ciaco: agreed, O
Kit Ciaco: though I believe we'd get right bored quicklike
oO0Oo Resident: a logistical effort though
Kit Ciaco: there is celebration in the differences!
SophiaSharon Larnia: just being in another avatar that wasn't known by anyone made me feel this freedom to go exploring in sl in places i wouldn't normally go
oO0Oo Resident: i have a hard enough time keeping up with the text hahahaha!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: (reads back)
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, ithink everyone looking the same is called a chat room
oO0Oo Resident: the discrete areas of our minds Sophia?
Kit Ciaco: Are there indiscrete areas of our minds?
Kit Ciaco: hmmmmmm - Now I gotta THINK!
    Kit Ciaco: sheesh
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :D
oO0Oo Resident: well we don't always say exactly what we think
Kit Ciaco: Oh, I expect we seldom do
    Kit Ciaco: not fully anyway
SophiaSharon Larnia: not necessarily Samuo, some of that im not much interested in, etc etc
Kit Ciaco: since we think at about a billions images per second
SophiaSharon Larnia: if i understood that right
    oO0Oo Resident: yes
Kit Ciaco: I exaggerate slightly, but we do think much quicker than we can express
oO0Oo Resident: like vision, a lot of filtering goes on
Kit Ciaco: So there is only time to share the very tip of the proverbial iceberg
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, i regularly think of 9 things i want to say at a time
    Kit Ciaco: right
SophiaSharon Larnia: why my typing is so bad
    Kit Ciaco: only 9? LOL!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: heheh
    oO0Oo Resident: only 9?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :DDD
Kit Ciaco: There seems to be an echo in here....
    stevenaia Michinaga: one per second?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: giggles
Kit Ciaco: Or did O and I switch avis already????
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh yes, i agree with what you're saying
oO0Oo Resident: how about we swap building expertise Kit? ;)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: *experience* that :)
    Kit Ciaco: ok
Kit Ciaco: You teach me how to build a tee shirt and I'll teach you how to wrestle with the Devil
oO0Oo Resident: mmm, meant that I would instantly inherit your knowledge ;)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oooh interesting challenge
    Kit Ciaco: All three ounces!?!?!?!?!?!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: lol
    oO0Oo Resident: minus the devil
Kit Ciaco: no deal - you gotta take the monkey with the back!
SophiaSharon Larnia: teach ya how to wrestle then
    oO0Oo Resident: hehe
    oO0Oo Resident: thought so
Kit Ciaco: But it wouldn't be any fun if there were no challenge!
Kit Ciaco: Of course, I would get more sleep.....
SophiaSharon Larnia: typing this to make sure im here, my power at home is flickering uh oh
Kit Ciaco: And my little toys would be probably cleaner looking....
    Kit Ciaco: uh oh
oO0Oo Resident: challenges arise naturally. I'm working on not creating unnecessary extras
    Kit Ciaco: good luck!
SophiaSharon Larnia: good Samuo, how do you do that?
    oO0Oo Resident: ty
oO0Oo Resident: by trial and error... I suppose
    oO0Oo Resident: and appreciation
Kit Ciaco: t and e - the only way to fly!
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Kit Ciaco: User's Manuals are for sissies
Kit Ciaco: and valuable only to refer to after hours of incessant head banging.....
SophiaSharon Larnia: it would be helpful, but then id probably not find the time to read it

    --BELL--

oO0Oo Resident: I like the idea that sissies are afforded a path too, and that they become courageous heros in the end
Kit Ciaco: More fun to change out integers and see where that takes us.... I once put a 17 instead of a 7 - accidentally - in a pose ball item I was working with. I have no idea where I went but when I stood back up I magically appeared again.... My avi goes places without me all the time. Integers, I tell you - that's where the fun is happening! Just as my avi!
SophiaSharon Larnia: what a wonderfully compassionate thought :)
    Kit Ciaco: agreed re sissies!
Kit Ciaco: Look at Audie Murphy!!!
    oO0Oo Resident: integers and sissies...
    Kit Ciaco: Sissies and integers
oO0Oo Resident: don't know audie Kit
Kit Ciaco: That sounds like the title of a country western tune!
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
SophiaSharon Larnia: goggles integers < jus kidding
Kit Ciaco: Well, he was a war hero
    Kit Ciaco: little scrawny guy
    stevenaia Michinaga: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audie_Murphy
    SophiaSharon Larnia: googles*
Kit Ciaco: and when he came back from the war he became a movie star
    oO0Oo Resident: reading
Kit Ciaco: often portrayed as a sissy who was really a hero
    SophiaSharon Larnia: baby face
    Kit Ciaco: yes
Kit Ciaco: To Hell and Back is a biographical account of his war years
SophiaSharon Larnia: appearance can say little
    Kit Ciaco: fascinating character study!
    Kit Ciaco: exactly
Kit Ciaco: perhaps it's just the Cosmos's little joke
oO0Oo Resident: sissies are sometimes heros in disguise. I'm sure Audie knew the landscape
Kit Ciaco: I am certain of it
SophiaSharon Larnia: maybe the struggle was the lesson? I don't know, saying things like that is a very slippery slope
Kit Ciaco: He was a hero before he even left for the war
    stevenaia Michinaga: brb
Aubergine Mint: have to re log ... be back
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hb x 2 :)
Kit Ciaco: Say more about that SSL
SophiaSharon Larnia: I suspect in some way certain situations are presented to me as learning experiences
    Kit Ciaco: only some?
Kit Ciaco: Most of my experiences have something to teach me.... And frankly, I get a little tired of it!
SophiaSharon Larnia: but when I look at people who have really hard stories, wonder what was the lesson for them, karma, seems so unbearably cruel
    Kit Ciaco: I wonder
stevenaia Michinaga: lessons are always there and mostly enlightening
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Paradise
Kit Ciaco: It's okay I suppose, to want to not learn from time to time
SophiaSharon Larnia: i differ in your opinion, maybe im just burnt
    oO0Oo Resident smiles
Kit Ciaco: which opinion? I have so many that are odds....
Paradise Tennant: smiles and waves all round :)
Kit Ciaco: sometimes even with myself! LOL!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Paradise :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs
Paradise Tennant: hiya sophia .. kit.. O stevenaia
stevenaia Michinaga: Son just came in, was plowed home by a friend, says we may have 10 new inches of snow
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    oO0Oo Resident smiles again
    Paradise Tennant: yowser
SophiaSharon Larnia: stevenaia said lessons are always there and mostly enlightening, so pain when i think of that
    stevenaia Michinaga: *and
Kit Ciaco: Well, pain can take us to enlightenment
    Kit Ciaco: just as joy
SophiaSharon Larnia: Steve yes here too ;(
oO0Oo Resident: is enlightenment separate from anything?
stevenaia Michinaga: pain is one way to learn, remember, stoves are hot
Kit Ciaco: I don't see Karma as a pain, but as an impartial justice of sorts
    Kit Ciaco: right, steve
SophiaSharon Larnia: perhaps, if i could believe in a really wide angle view
stevenaia Michinaga: don;t put your head in the lions mouth
Kit Ciaco: LOL! I like that! wav!
SophiaSharon Larnia: dont play in the snow naked
Kit Ciaco: Now you tell me!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: well, not for very long
Paradise Tennant: smiles could get very chilly
oO0Oo Resident: if to here the lion's roar, then yes...in i go
    oO0Oo Resident: hear*
SophiaSharon Larnia: i dont think i believe in anything, everything is theory :)
    Kit Ciaco: wow
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Lynn
Kit Ciaco: Now THAT'S a fascinating thought!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ah Samuo
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Lynn
Kit Ciaco: and O - what if the lion has, you know, BAD BREATHE!?!?! You still going in????
    Paradise Tennant: hiya lynn
    oO0Oo Resident: hehe
Kit Ciaco: I'll take that as a yes.....
oO0Oo Resident: I'm sure i will be able to conjure up some goods and bads, happys and sads
SophiaSharon Larnia: looks at the sign on Kit's back, afraid it says kick me lol
    Kit Ciaco: LOL!!!!
stevenaia Michinaga: was thinking the same
    SophiaSharon Larnia: giggles
Kit Ciaco: That's my flight enhancer
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ah
Kit Ciaco: cause you never know how high you want to go!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :P

    --BELL--

    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    oO0Oo Resident smiles yet again
Kit Ciaco: Look deep into my eyes
    oO0Oo Resident: uh?
    Kit Ciaco: seriously
Kit Ciaco: zoom up to my eyeballs
Kit Ciaco: I call them my Rain Glasses - cause ANYONE can have sunglasses! But RAIN GLASSES!!! Now that is just awesome!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
oO0Oo Resident: nice irises, but there could be a liver condition (without camera constraints, I end up past your head)
SophiaSharon Larnia: helpful, in sl raindrops go through everything
SophiaSharon Larnia: id like to see rain drops that bounce off objects in sl
    Kit Ciaco: LOL!
SophiaSharon Larnia: get the sl physics guy on that
Kit Ciaco: I'm not that good
    Kit Ciaco: yet
    SophiaSharon Larnia: or gal
Kit Ciaco: I want to make a pair with little windshield wipers - that work
oO0Oo Resident: Give kit a problem to solve, and she will beaver away in her elfin workshop
SophiaSharon Larnia: ha! wouldn't be hard, if you have that patience!
oO0Oo Resident: windshield wipers would be awesome
Kit Ciaco: I'm in the process of making a line of different kinds of glasses - I love the notion of perceptions
Kit Ciaco: and how we filter what we see through various lenses
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Paradise Tennant: smiles .. yes we are two footed filters
Kit Ciaco has no patience whatsoever.....
    Kit Ciaco: exactly, Paradise!
Kit Ciaco: So my line of glasses are really metaphors
Kit Ciaco: with the e of course
Kit Ciaco: but little ways to remind myself that we see what we want
    Kit Ciaco: or hope
Kit Ciaco: or biased by our own senses
    SophiaSharon Larnia: nice eyes
Kit Ciaco: and not always really what is
oO0Oo Resident: Every new SLer should get wipers upon arrival
    Kit Ciaco: LOL!
Kit Ciaco: I actually prefer my standard issue Rose Colored Glasses
oO0Oo Resident: Kit has a good heart too (can vouch for that)
    Kit Ciaco: do not
    Kit Ciaco: it lies
Paradise Tennant: smiles .. is really sleepy .. yawning .. and kind of droopy so .. going to wish everyone a lovely evening .. and dreams full of .. great ideas.. heighten perceptions of both hope and peace :)
Paradise Tennant: namaste my friends :)
    Kit Ciaco: g'night
    stevenaia Michinaga: night Paradise
    oO0Oo Resident smiles
SophiaSharon Larnia: thank you Paradise, sweet dreams!
    oO0Oo Resident: :) para
SophiaSharon Larnia: and I think im going to go too, to remove everything in a 1/4 sim in half an hour :) wish me luck haha
    Kit Ciaco: luck!
oO0Oo Resident: wish i could help
    oO0Oo Resident: best SSL
SophiaSharon Larnia: goodnight all, and if theres snow where you are, be safe!!!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: Night SSL
oO0Oo Resident: I've got to ask her about how she gets her thighs in such great shape
    Kit Ciaco: LOL!!!!
Kit Ciaco: It's all in the pixels she eats!
stevenaia Michinaga: I must go soon too, but pls continue
    Kit Ciaco: nah, thanks....
oO0Oo Resident: maybe she uses a pixelmaster too
Kit Ciaco: I got to wrestle with another devil
Kit Ciaco: only this one is wearing an avi
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Avastu
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s been quite a while
    Avastu Maruti: hello my friends
stevenaia Michinaga: I have been meaning to attend your meetings just only recently
Avastu Maruti: that would be nice
stevenaia Michinaga: having stumbled on to your group
Kit Ciaco: Well, ya'll have a great evening!
    Kit Ciaco: take care!
stevenaia Michinaga: I suspect it may have been fate
    stevenaia Michinaga: night kit
oO0Oo Resident: ty stevenaia... as hello avastu and goodbye departing friends in the sky
    oO0Oo Resident: ty Kit
    Avastu Maruti: goodnight kit
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
stevenaia Michinaga: kit has a very nice unicycle

    --BELL--

oO0Oo Resident ducks away with a smile and a wave
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye Sam
stevenaia Michinaga: I have not seen you in quite a while, what brings you here this evening
    Avastu Maruti: who knows?
stevenaia Michinaga: it was just in the past week that I joined your group
    stevenaia Michinaga: group
Avastu Maruti: we have a nice place on the ocean
stevenaia Michinaga: I suspect it is more than coincidence, yes I was there once when there was no meeting
    stevenaia Michinaga: meeting
stevenaia Michinaga: the timing conflicts a bit with PaB, how often do you meet?
Avastu Maruti: Jason holds meetings on sunday mornings 7 am slt and Wednesdays 7 pm slt
Avastu Maruti: my meetings are Thursdays 7 pm slt
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, perhaps I will have time tomorrow, would hope a new face with beginners questions won't be to disruptive
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    Avastu Maruti: of course not
stevenaia Michinaga: a lovely storm out east covering us with snow bit the foot

    --BELL--

Avastu Maruti: You live in NY yes?
    stevenaia Michinaga: PA
    Avastu Maruti: ah
    stevenaia Michinaga: north oh Philly
    stevenaia Michinaga: of
Avastu Maruti: gets pretty bad up there?
stevenaia Michinaga: seem so this year
Avastu Maruti: well we can't all live in Florida
stevenaia Michinaga: not sure we would all want too
    Avastu Maruti: ha
Avastu Maruti: not until you retire, then it's the law
stevenaia Michinaga: care to suggest any preparatory reading to suggest before I attend your group
    stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps your blog?
Avastu Maruti: not really, you already know everything that we discuss
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: learning that is more true with time
    Avastu Maruti: unlearning
stevenaia Michinaga: or, we are whole, we just have to turn over the stones to see what hides under them
    Avastu Maruti: Being isn't hidden
stevenaia Michinaga: but it can be overlooked
Avastu Maruti: even the overlooking is it
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Avastu Maruti: we can never find what is already present
Avastu Maruti: it is the looking for it which creates the idea it is missing
Avastu Maruti: or needs to be reached
Avastu Maruti: while we discuss abstractions about Being, Being shines in plain view
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, like the Tao
stevenaia Michinaga: something I am learning
    Avastu Maruti: yes

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: nice to find something by not looking
Avastu Maruti: you will always arrive at your own Self
Avastu Maruti: that is the only thing that cannot ever be negated
Avastu Maruti: that is not dependent on a perspective
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
stevenaia Michinaga: I must be going, will have much snow to move tomorrow
Avastu Maruti: good night my friend
stevenaia Michinaga: thanks for stopping by, not a coincidence
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: good night
    Avastu Maruti: good night
