The Guardian for this meeting was Adams Rubble. The comments are by Adams Rubble.

Lots of little snippets of our lives today; it was tough to choose from all the title possibilities.

Adams Rubble: Good morning Eliza :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Adams :)
Adams Rubble: How are you this morning?
Eliza Madrigal: Fairly well. You look very sophisticated :)
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: one wants to look their best when on guaardian duty
    Eliza Madrigal: Yes :)
Adams Rubble: The fall seems to be zipping by quite quickly
Eliza Madrigal: We're just feeling it here
    --BELL--
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: And you, do you feel like you've been zipping by quickly?
Adams Rubble: No, I am running along behind saying "Please wait for me"
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Adams Rubble: It is kind of nice sitting here slowing down
Eliza Madrigal: an appt to take stock
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Adams Rubble: yes, it can be that some weeks :)
Adams Rubble: are you reading anything intersting?
Eliza Madrigal: Reading Longchenpa lately... and a book on dreaming....
    Eliza Madrigal: you?
Adams Rubble: I am working on understanding a software but more interesting about Indian art and religion
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh?
Adams Rubble: I am sitting in on a course, filling in a weak area for me
Eliza Madrigal: does it feel funny to be back in student role in a classroom?
Adams Rubble: just finding it hard to keep up with the reading
    Adams Rubble: who is Longchenpa?
Eliza Madrigal: Oh! Longchenpa is a wonderful contemplative...
Eliza Madrigal: His writings are 'two lines at a time' writings
Adams Rubble: The name sounds Tibertan
    Adams Rubble: like poetry?
    Eliza Madrigal: Here's an example:
    Adams Rubble: or tweets?
    Adams Rubble listens
Eliza Madrigal: Due to the way in which the distinct, myriad displa arises, emanations occur naturally-the amazng magic of what has ultimate meaning.
Adams Rubble: Good morning Stevenaia :)
Eliza Madrigal: They never stray from the wholly positive state in which nothing need be done.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Stevie :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: morning
    stevenaia Michinaga: h Adams
    Adams Rubble: displa?
    Eliza Madrigal: display*
    Eliza Madrigal: apologies :)
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: ahh, thought it was a new concept. hehe
Eliza Madrigal: :) well, timelessly new
Eliza Madrigal: But I tend to read L as a kind of 'devotional'
Adams Rubble: Stevenaia is a new emanation arising this morning :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: i yam?
stevenaia Michinaga: just here for a bit, wondering if battery will die before friends arrive, today is 5th anniversary of a good friend's death, so we drive two hours to have a picnic on her grave every year, drink champange and eat caviar in her good memoriy, sounds like the way I want to be remembered
Eliza Madrigal: What a beautiful gesture
Eliza Madrigal: she must have been lovely... still bringing you all together
Adams Rubble: Nice to remember Steve. The Victorians did that
stevenaia Michinaga: and we bury the bottle so she can have some too
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: it does not hurt that she brought us 80 degree weather
Adams Rubble: Noce weather for a picnic with friends
    Adams Rubble: nice
    Adams Rubble: Hello Xirana :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Xirana :))
Xirana Oximoxi: hello Adams, Eliza, steve :)
stevenaia Michinaga: This is imortality... the party continues in your memory
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Xirana
    Adams Rubble nods
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi steve:)
Adams Rubble: Many people lwho have touched us live on in us
Eliza Madrigal: also a devotional practice... intended memory
Eliza Madrigal: actually had a pab dream last night, with avies laying around on blankets and against trees in a thick grove :)
Eliza Madrigal: picnic I guess, though I don't remember food but conversations
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Adams Rubble: It sounds as if part of your mind is relaxed :)
Adams Rubble: The people in my dreams are rushing around trying to catch up. hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: hehehe
Eliza Madrigal: actually this was a part when I tried to follow behind Storm and scrambled a bit to keep up
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Eliza Madrigal: *there = this
Eliza Madrigal: emanations of busyness while not straying from relaxed space? :)
    Adams Rubble: appearances of busyness
    Eliza Madrigal: nods!
Adams Rubble: I had a ride on a little steamboat yesterday
    --BELL--
    Eliza Madrigal: oohhh
Adams Rubble: for a whole hour the little boat struggled upstream. It's maximum speed was sox knots and the river was rushing down at 4 knots. When we got to a bridge about 1/8 a mile upstream, the current was six knots. When you looked at the water it was racing by. When you looked at the land, we actually had lost ground. After an hour and a quarter of this, we turned around and were back in ten minutes
Adams Rubble: Life can be like that :)
Adams Rubble: Good morning Susan :)
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
    Xirana Oximoxi: hello Susan:)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Susan
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Susan :)
Xirana Oximoxi: nice image to see how life can go sometimes
Eliza Madrigal: haha, yes it can Adams
Eliza Madrigal: so we'd better enjoy the ride I guess
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Did you sing Old Man River? hehe
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: hehe

    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Adams Rubble: fast exit
    Xirana Oximoxi: aww, yes
Eliza Madrigal: (in honor of Stevie's friend)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eliza Madrigal: hmmm the jig that wouldn't stop...
Eliza Madrigal: Today we'll talk about retreats at the guardian session
Eliza Madrigal: wonder what the new forms might be
    Adams Rubble: emanations arising
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Xirana Oximoxi: I liked the 'more close' retreats, even if I don't know if I will be able to go
Adams Rubble: "whenever three or more people are gathered together in my name, there will I be"
    Eliza Madrigal: awww
Adams Rubble: or is it two or three
    Adams Rubble: ?
iwandertoo Resident: where are you xi?
Eliza Madrigal: I think it has two readings but my recollection is 3 or more
Xirana Oximoxi: I am in Catalonia, Spain:)
