    boxy eliza 5am_001.jpg

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Boxy
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): eliza! :)
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): wee!
    Eliza Madrigal: wee
Eliza Madrigal: What are you working on?
boxy (alfred.kelberry): oh my, all lovely and beautiful :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks :)
boxy (alfred.kelberry): um... a little spot to sit on :)
boxy (alfred.kelberry): how come you're not in bed? :)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, nice :) I still have your funny chair
    Eliza Madrigal: Woke with dreams
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): ahh... good ones?
Eliza Madrigal: hm... anxiety dreams I guess... not bad nor good just strong... conversations and things, figurings out

boxy (alfred.kelberry): eh, yes... i have them too
Eliza Madrigal: would like to know what I figured out, too!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
boxy (alfred.kelberry): not too comfy for me
Eliza Madrigal: No? do you often dream that way?
boxy (alfred.kelberry): well, i should probably thank those dreams for seeing you now :)
boxy (alfred.kelberry): i usually don't dream at all. just recently a few times.
Eliza Madrigal smiles. It is sort of fun to be here at this time
    Eliza Madrigal: aw...
boxy (alfred.kelberry): not sure if you've seen it: http://up.keep.se/eliza-bw.jpg

Eliza Madrigal: they're there, but maybe you need tricks to catch them
boxy (alfred.kelberry): i'd rather not have them :)
Eliza Madrigal: Love black and white photos!
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): :)
Eliza Madrigal: well the idea being that maybe things can be worked out in dreams... wake up with new answer/idea/etc
Eliza Madrigal: the one your waking self won't let you see
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): could be
    Eliza Madrigal: Cute :)

boxy (alfred.kelberry): this is my a-student sit :)
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
    Eliza Madrigal: perfect
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): :)
Eliza Madrigal: I hope you will have it at the fountain...
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): yep :)
Eliza Madrigal: unless it is a protest seat, hah
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): just a seat
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): for tinies :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: A-student tinies

Play as Being 15 minute bell: Conversations here are recorded when ON AIR. Please see http://wiki.playasbeing.org/
Play as Being 15 minute bell: Please observe 90 seconds of silence.

boxy (alfred.kelberry): i read something interesting yesterday. if you ask people to say 10 random words, they do it easily. then 10 more and they start enumerate things around them, the next 10 and they start making longer pauses thinking.
boxy (alfred.kelberry): but if you ask someone to describe an event - no one stumbles looking for words :)

Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.

Eliza Madrigal: So before anyone comes to a session we should all try to say 20 words?
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): heh
boxy (alfred.kelberry): could be fun to try
    Eliza Madrigal: maybe so :)
Eliza Madrigal: it reminds me of 'morning pages'

boxy (alfred.kelberry): it was in the context of design. when you set off to make something "original" it comes out clumsy, but when you simply work on a task "original" comes to you eventually :)

    boxy (alfred.kelberry): um, morning pages?
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, interesting... like Chuck Close's "Inspiration is for amateurs"
Eliza Madrigal: Morning pages are a writing practice of first writing two throw away pages... getting into the flow
Eliza Madrigal: feeding the internal critic so you can move on, hah
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): ah
boxy (alfred.kelberry): i think those two pages are most interesting :)
Eliza Madrigal: might be :) throwing mine away has been good practice... actually many writers will suggest eliminating your first paragraph, always
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): heh
boxy (alfred.kelberry): probably they're right stylistically, but i'd be curious to read the first one :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eliza Madrigal: prob lots to see
boxy (alfred.kelberry): you remind me a greek goddess :)
boxy (alfred.kelberry): possibly for wine :)
Eliza Madrigal smiles again... ask me anything

Eliza Madrigal: why do you think people are easier in describing events?
Eliza Madrigal: I sometimes find that difficult, every angle sometimes seems contrary to another until getting to the heart
Eliza Madrigal: I once tried to write down everything I did in the course of a day... it was completely impossible and still an 'interpretation'
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): heh
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): it always is
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
boxy (alfred.kelberry): i think the morale was to focus on activity not means

    Eliza Madrigal thinks
Eliza Madrigal: OK say 10 random words, hehehehe
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): ha!

Play as Being 15 minute bell: Conversations here are recorded when ON AIR. Please see http://wiki.playasbeing.org/
Play as Being 15 minute bell: Please observe 90 seconds of silence.

Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.

Eliza Madrigal: think there is the possibility of a nap now. Thanks for being here a while, Alffed :) I'll accept your ten words as homework, this time.
    boxy (alfred.kelberry): heh
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
boxy (alfred.kelberry): glad you popped in, greek goddess :)
boxy (alfred.kelberry): you nap well, good dreams to you :)
Eliza Madrigal: See you soon, thanks much
