Paradise Tennant: c) how easy it can be to drop being an adult .. not sure we always have to be an adult .. not sure it is even healthy on a 24.-7 basis

stevenaia Michinaga: RE c) I have met many "parents of my son's classmates I n the past who are 10+ years younger than I  am and  behaved so much more like an adult, it made me concerned as they were far too serious about life (more stress, little joy) I equate joy and happiness with pre-adultness, i.e., I enjoy having not grown up into adulthood like I was observing

SophiaSharon Larnia: oh I don’t know, someone says something to me and there is an ear to brain lag

stevenaia Michinaga: time seems to be at the same speed, most of the time, no slow motion
Paradise Tennant: I find time is quite elastic in rl .. sometimes it seems to just sit still ..

Paradise Tennant: depending on circumstance ..when you are truly and completely engaged it is like there is no time

Paradise Tennant: I don't remember .. that many dreams .. but the ones I have remembered always seem as real as this moment

SophiaSharon Larnia: the dreams I remember are usually fantastic in some way
SophiaSharon Larnia: something seriously out of whack

SophiaSharon Larnia: I don’t remember many, esp lately
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, but even  those are real for me too
SophiaSharon Larnia: but the house I’ll be in will supposedly be my own but looks very different, that kind of stuff
SophiaSharon Larnia: and  in the dream I’ll accept it as my own house, although a part of me knows it’s not quite right

SophiaSharon Larnia: for example, different coloured walls or the staircase in the wrong place
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, the screen writers of my dreams are sometimes very creative
SophiaSharon Larnia: I won’t be bothered by these difference enough to wake up in the dream, so to speak, although I know it’s off

SophiaSharon Larnia: or worst of all, the wrong house entirely, and in the dream it is 'mine'
SophiaSharon Larnia: I  haven’t remembered a dream in ages

SophiaSharon Larnia: I dream the most when I take naps in the afternoon, something about sleeping shallowly

Paradise Tennant: yes like your brain has not fully surrendered so it pulls bits of it back
Paradise Tennant: very hard working nites people do not realize how hard it is on your system
Paradise Tennant: sleep is really critical
SophiaSharon Larnia: I’ve been a night shift person since I was a child roaming alone in the house and outside; its more normal to me than others

SophiaSharon Larnia: either that, or born on the wrong side of the globe
