Getting at the pavilion a bit early, I find Lugh, the friendly frog I met at Maxine's Theme Session on Sunday

    Lugh Fehr: heyaz
    Eden Haiku: Hi Lugh!
Lugh Fehr: how are you today
Eden Haiku: Nice to see you again my prince!
    Eden Haiku: Good, and you?
Lugh Fehr: good good tnx :P
Eden Haiku: We will be starting a session in a few minutes...
Lugh Fehr: oh i thought it was an hr ago
Lugh Fehr: great ill stick around then
Eden Haiku: No, in the mornings it is at 7 am SLT *which is Pacific Time *)

    Lugh Fehr: ?
Lugh Fehr: yes erm A..... something
Eden Haiku: Pretty cold here for your taste I would say. Wondering where frogs go when it is that cold.

Eden Haiku: Waiting a bit to start...
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Kit :)
    Kit Ciaco: Hi -
    Bleu Oleander: hi Kit
    oO0Oo Resident: hi Kit!
    Sartre Placebo: hello kit
    Eden Haiku: Hello Kit!

Stating the topic: our relationship with Being

Eden Haiku: Theme session on "Being"

Eden Haiku: Last Saturday, in his Theme Session, Pema said something that sets a new tone to these Theme Sessions for me. And by that I mean he shares something that is probably what prompted him to suggest we now have a few times a week these PaB "Theme Sessions". I will give you the link to his session if you would like to read it later, but here is a very short quote from him:

"Pema Pera: for me, my relationship with Being is deeply devotional [...]
Pema Pera: but not in a way like with an external God
Pema Pera: it is very paradoxical"

    oO0Oo Resident: ty
Eden Haiku: May I suggest we focus today on our own relationship with Being?
    Pema Pera: thank you, Eden!
    Eliza Madrigal: lovely
    oO0Oo Resident: hey Zen
Eden Haiku: What would we say about our relationship with Being? We will talk in a circle, in a clockwise fashion Lugh. will talk after me, then Kit, Zen, Bleu and so on and Pema will close the circle. New arrivals will talk after the 1st circle . Please, let's remember to be silent for 90 seconds when the bell rings.

    Zen Arado: Hi all
    Eden Haiku: Hi Zen :)
    Sartre Placebo: zen :)

    EDEN

Eden Haiku: I will start with something that could describe my relationship with Being as it is now.
    Lugh Fehr: hey zen
Eden Haiku: And in order to do so I would ask you to do a very simple experiment: bring one of your hands close to your mouth and gently breathe into it, just once or twice.
Eden Haiku: What I feel when doing that, gently blowing into my hand, is what my relationship with Being is at the moment.
Eden Haiku: Your turn Lugh...What is your relationship to Being?

    LUGH

Lugh Fehr: its always their cant escape it unless mabey by deth so its a wierd one love hate relationship hehe
Lugh Fehr: your turn kit :)

    KIT

Kit Ciaco: For myself only - I do not have a relationship with being - I am, I "be." It is like saying I have a relationhips with my heart beat - it just does, and I just do. I just be.
Kit Ciaco: I'm not sure who is next....
    Eden Haiku: Zen...

    ZEN

Zen Arado: My relationship to being is one of clutching to concepts and constructs through fear of the unknown.
    Zen Arado: done
    Eden Haiku: ;)

    BLEU

    Bleu Oleander: ty Zen
Bleu Oleander: my relationship to Being to the extent that one can have a relationship with being is one of acceptance
Bleu Oleander: acceptance of my role/our role Being's role in the unfolding complexity of life/being
    Bleu Oleander: done .... 0?

    --BELL--

    oOOOo

    oO0Oo Resident: ty
oO0Oo Resident: relaxing with... 'just as it is', and alternately grasping, or grappling with concepts, for the layers in between, while feeling myself seated, and some sense of bady and ravity, and alignment on an axis.
    oO0Oo Resident: body*
    oO0Oo Resident: gravity*
    oO0Oo Resident: (done)

    SARTRE

Sartre Placebo: being means to me accepting what is, still it's also accepting that there has to be change to come
Sartre Placebo: how to find the balance in between the inevitable change and the being where i am
Sartre Placebo: kind of finding a way to learn to solve this perceived dilemma in appreciating it as it is
Sartre Placebo: well, that's for now

    ELIZA

    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Sartre
Eliza Madrigal: my relationship to Being is of a heart less and less bent on contriving, and more and more letting in the breeze and the light...
Eliza Madrigal: exposing my scaared little 'self' to the elements, to to speak...
Eliza Madrigal: (you can hear her shivering in that spelling, hah)
    Eden Haiku: ;)
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
    Pema Pera: :-)
Eliza Madrigal: and trusting that whatever happens or doesn't happen, all will be and always has been, OKAY. ..
Eliza Madrigal: Primarily, for me, I discover Being in 'beings', opening myself up to linger longer and appreciate what can't be captured or used (or used up) in any way. (done)

    PEMA

Pema Pera: There are so many ways I could approach Being . . . . here is just one
Pema Pera: We normally identify with our body, as what we are, including brain
Pema Pera: and the body is located in space and time
Pema Pera: and we consider our consciousness to somehow come our of our brain
Pema Pera: so consciousness situated in brain in body in space and time
Pema Pera: very small sliver in all of that
Pema Pera: and in that picture we are very needy -- we need all kinds of things to live -- and then we die
Pema Pera: but an alternative view is to see ourselves as awareness expressing consciousness expressing this whole rich world
Pema Pera: and when we ask where awareness comes from you could say that Time is Playing in Space to express Awareness, with all three of those, Space and Time and Awareness seen as three aspects of Being
Pema Pera: Being expressing Being in Being for Being as the play of all that appears, all that we can appreciate in its appearance
Pema Pera: Sorry to speak this long -- and what I said is just a brief distillation, but that's one summary :-)
    Eden Haiku: ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    EDEN

    Eden Haiku: Thanks Pema.
Eden Haiku: In this whole rich world of words
Eden Haiku: I'm still giggling at mysterious typos
    Zen Arado: Hi Riddle
    Riddle Sideways quietly slips in
Eden Haiku: O's "bady and ravity"
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: driving me into layers of unknown
Eden Haiku: as scaaared as Zen and as Eliza
    Pema Pera: :-)
Eden Haiku: and yet relaxing into Riddle's soothing presence
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Riddle Sideways: :)

    OUPS, where are we?

(I was on a roll and was typing simultaneously as Bleu was trying to comment on what Pema just said. I wasn't clear if we were going to open the floor after the newcomers or right away, so I had just grabbed the "power stick" and was talking until we would find out who was going to talk next, so it's a good thing Bleu intervened :)

Bleu Oleander: not sure if I can say something now? Eden? or if we are going in order? but I see those two views as compatible not alternative Pema :)
Eden Haiku: and the knowledge that all is OKAY ;) Your turn Riddle...
Eden Haiku: Ah ok, maybe after Riddle then Bleu?
Bleu Oleander: sorry, if I went out of turn

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: No, that's ok, we might break the circle now maybe...
Riddle Sideways: sorry, please tell me the topic/subject?
Eden Haiku: gave you a notecard?
    Riddle Sideways: ty
Pema Pera: (shall I respond to Bleu?)
Pema Pera: (or wait for Riddle?)
Eden Haiku: Summery of notecard: it's your turn to talk about your relationship to Being Riddle. Then Pema,
    Eden Haiku: Or whatever...
    Eden Haiku: :)
    Pema Pera: Riddle Being Riddle . . . .
    Riddle Sideways: ok, no pressure
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Eden Haiku: Go ahead Pema :)
Pema Pera: unless Riddle would like to talk!
Riddle Sideways: please go first pema
    Pema Pera: okay
    Eden Haiku: Japenese courteous bows...

    PEMA

Pema Pera: yes, Bleu, in some sense the two descriptions are "compatible" but only in a very rough and unusual sense
Pema Pera: normally "compatible" means that two things share at least some kind of framework within which they are compatible
Pema Pera: but in this case that is not so
Bleu Oleander: framework might be being?
    Eliza Madrigal: hmm, listens...
Pema Pera: Being is not a framework . . .
Pema Pera: I like to sum this problem up by saying "you can't get there from here"
Pema Pera: with "here" being the normal view: I am here in my body, etc
Pema Pera: and "there" being a view in which Being acquires meaning and is central
    Bleu Oleander: why the separation?
Pema Pera: so in that sense the two are not compatible -- in that you can't get there from here
Pema Pera: for the following two reasons:
Bleu Oleander: I see it as integrated
Pema Pera: if you start "here" you are in a framework in which there is nothing outside -- no "there" there at all, so it can't possibly be compatible
Pema Pera: and if you start "there", with Being, then there is no "here" -- no special world of frame as distinct from anything else
Pema Pera: but I don't know whether that makes any sense . . .

    The discussion opens

Kit Ciaco: Curious - what of "out of body" experiences? How does that play into the mix?
Bleu Oleander: you are using your brain, mind and body to come to a sense of awareness .... connection there for me?
Pema Pera: I don't know whether I am using a brain, Bleu :-)
    Bleu Oleander: how so Pema?
Pema Pera: that's one way of talking
Pema Pera: not the only one
Pema Pera: and other ways may *not* be compatible
Pema Pera: in that they cannot be translated (can't get there from here)
Bleu Oleander: where does your sense of being come from .... how is it created in your thoughts?
Pema Pera: first of all, there is no "me"
    oO0Oo Resident: non-duality?
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Bleu Oleander: "me" is a process not a thing .... agreed
Pema Pera: and the appearance of what we normally describe as "me" or "you" is part of appearance
Pema Pera: and speaking in that way there is no "world" and no linear time
Eliza Madrigal: a brain is some "thing" in space...
Pema Pera: (but of course, in daily life we do speak of those things as real for practical purposes)
Pema Pera: (and that's why we have so many problems -- we take that too seriously!)
Zen Arado: to me being is everything and nothing or none of the above - inexpressible uncertainty that defies all of our labels and concepts and generalizations...
Bleu Oleander: maybe we have evolved things like "me" like "time" like "world" so that we are organisms can exist?
Zen Arado: maybe the more we talk about it the further we get from it?

A bit awkwardly, I use Pema's line to refocus the discussion on experiences

Eden Haiku: I'm sure we all had glimpses into non-linear time. I would love to hear your stories about these experiences...
    Kit Ciaco: yes zen
Pema Pera: perhaps we are not organisms, Bleu
    Pema Pera: great suggestion, Eden!
    Bleu Oleander: hmmmm
Eden Haiku: that widens the perspective Pema, us not being organisms... mulling...
Eliza Madrigal: for me it isn't something to understand, but to know ... love the 'space of awareness' sensibility in which the brain is a wonderful world
oO0Oo Resident: we are not we then either?
Pema Pera: (within a dream, if I'd say we are perhaps not the body we think we are, it would sound crazy, right?)
Pema Pera: (yet it is true, as we see when we wake up)
Bleu Oleander: whatever "word" one used to describe "us" is still a word that gets it's meaning from our brains, minds embedded in our cultures
Eliza Madrigal: might be a good question to ask in a dream actually :)
    Eden Haiku: hehe

And then I remember the new arrivals haven't shared yet…and Pema remembers my question and shares a clear experience of Being

Eden Haiku: Would Riddle and Bleu Levasseur like to share what their relationship to Being is?

Pema Pera: but yes, Eden: experience: when I look at the world, and let the world in, I become a hollow pipe in some sense, letting the world blow through me, my eyes become more relaxed, there is very little sense of self, and instead the world worlds and at the same time I am in/as everything

Riddle Sideways: Pema and Zen have it correct, but have to translate into these "word" things (an imperfect medium)

    --BELL--

Bleu Oleander: I think one has to allow all points of view when describing something as abstract as being with a capital B ..... no one person no one "I" is "correct" in that sense
Eden Haiku: nice Pema, thanks :)

    BLEU LEVASSEUR

Bleu Levasseur: i come here because i like to share conversation with people
    Zen Arado: agree Bleu
Pema Pera: oh yes, for sure, Bleu!
    Bleu Levasseur: thought provoking, maybe..
    Bleu Levasseur: challenging, probably
Bleu Levasseur: but always words of more than one syllable

Bleu L. had paused for about 2 minutes and no one had spoken yet (we are a very polite bunch!), so here I go again, trying to move the power stick along, Riddle is just warming up (it's quite early in his time-zone) then Pema leaves, as it is very late in Japan.

Eden Haiku: If you are done Bleu L., maybe we could have a second round with Riddle, Io and Archmage. About your relationship with Being. I think Riddle was starting something.
    Bleu Levasseur: oh, sorry
Riddle Sideways: starting with the non-duality = Being
Riddle Sideways: all nice, all peaceful
Pema Pera: (I'm going to get some sleep, it's almost 1 am here -- so nice to talk with all of you; hope I wasn't too longwinded in responding today :-)
Eden Haiku: No, you were fine Bleu. Just making sure you were finished?
    Bleu Oleander: bye Pema :)
    Eliza Madrigal: night pema
    Sartre Placebo: night pema
Io Larkspur: have a beauty-filled sleep, Pema.
    Riddle Sideways: ok, night pema
    Pema Pera: day everybody!
    Zen Arado: bye Pema
    Lugh Fehr: gn
    oO0Oo Resident: night Pema
Eden Haiku: Goodnight Pema. Sweet dreams!
    Bleu Levasseur: waves
Eden Haiku: Riddle the power stick is in your hands :)

    Pema had just left.jpg

    RIDDLE

Riddle Sideways: how is it to have a relationship with all. As pema said, we would have to be a separate "I", me, other
    Riddle Sideways: but am not
Riddle Sideways: ergo... can not have relationship.
    Riddle Sideways: but, do anyway
    Eden Haiku: ah!
Riddle Sideways: however to have these discussions
Riddle Sideways: we take more sci methods
Riddle Sideways: and separate into some parts
Riddle Sideways: each of go to a corner and observe
    Riddle Sideways: for a while
Riddle Sideways: then come to this pavilion and report
Riddle Sideways: each brings a piece from their point of view
Riddle Sideways: we are given more vision then could get by selves
    Riddle Sideways: but not really
Riddle Sideways: maybe not even real
Riddle Sideways: not sure some of you are real
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Riddle Sideways: we are all together
    Riddle Sideways: done
    Eden Haiku: ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: :) hmmm....
    Eden Haiku: Io?

    IO

    Io Larkspur: Thank you.
Io Larkspur: I have been fascinated listening to the reports of others.
    Io Larkspur: as for myself,
Io Larkspur: I notice that wherever I go,
Io Larkspur: I am not able to pry this Being thing off of myself.
    Io Larkspur: It's just there. . .
Io Larkspur: or I perceived that it is.
Io Larkspur: So, it feels a bit like that old adage, wherever I go, there I am. . .
    Io Larkspur: Or better:
Io Larkspur: I am a sphere whose center is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere.
Io Larkspur: However. . . I am now considering that absolutely everything besides that "Point" which is the Being Center --
Io Larkspur: virtually everything else. . .
Io Larkspur: is the produce of an ad campaign of some sort. . .
Io Larkspur: designed to manufacture our perceptions.
    Io Larkspur: [done]

Discussing Being and Ad Men in the same conversation

    Riddle Sideways: ah, like that
    Zen Arado: agree LO
    Zen Arado: our consensus reality
Eliza Madrigal: wonderful... considering.... Being is in what 'happens', and also in what doesn't happen... so"I" knows what 'happens' perhaps...the fiction
Zen Arado: but are we ready or willing to let go of it?

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: and also sees that there is space for something 'else'
Eliza Madrigal: I think 'let go' causes some confusion in our discussions because there is an idea of not appreciating the I?
Eden Haiku: Thanks Io. Archmage, would you like to share about your relationship to Being?
Eliza Madrigal: (sorry, Hi Arch) :)
Archmage Atlantis: This time I believe I shall just be here, and pass. Thank you.
Eden Haiku: ;) Np Eliza :) Interesting question...
Eden Haiku: How "let go" would create confusion Eliza?
Kit Ciaco: Thanks for your time this morning - I need to go see a horse about a man....
Eden Haiku: Bye Kit, thanks for joining!
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
Bleu Oleander: I think acceptance is a better word than let go
Eliza Madrigal: it may be just my sense that when we discuss ego matters and "I" sometimes it can sound like one is suggesting that I is not magnificent in its way....
Bleu Oleander: integration is a better strategy to me
Eliza Madrigal: YES, inclusive of I
Eden Haiku: Integration seems the way yes...
Eliza Madrigal: but not centralized there
Bleu Oleander: we probably have no choice but to centralize our thoughts within our minds
Eliza Madrigal: we connect through I and also exclude there so seems the thing is to be open
Bleu Oleander: open but realize we all come from our own perspectives
Zen Arado: was thinking of letting go of false concepts and mind constructions
Archmage Atlantis: I missed much of the discussion, and I passed earlier, however I do see a distinction between accepting and letting go,
Eliza Madrigal: a knowing without 'thoughts' is included as well...
Eden Haiku: Zen I love the way you distill our words into your moving hands![Zen had a very strange typing animation: he seemed to be doing magician passes!]
Zen Arado: or seeing through them at least
Eliza Madrigal: yes wonderful animation Zen
oO0Oo Resident: this may seem really naive question, but I always wonder why the true nature of being isn't more obvious, or natural. There is this esoteric, convoluted process to come to an explanation of what is.
    Eden Haiku: Yes Arch?
Zen Arado: and all these systems and teachers
Eliza Madrigal loves such a naive question
Riddle Sideways: sam, that may be the ad campaign
Eliza Madrigal: do we need to explain in order to be to connect?
oO0Oo Resident: it seems the ad agency is loving this discovery process
Archmage Atlantis: I accept that the society is what it is, I let go of a need for society to conform to my expectations........and I work toward a society of tolerance....so perhaps 3 distinctions
    Eden Haiku: giggles at Riddle
Zen Arado: we love our explanations and stories so much...
    Eden Haiku: We are bewildered
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eliza Madrigal: some of this process for me, well, a great deal right now, is stepping out of others' explanations that I love so much... which are too easy for me to express as 'learnings'
Lugh Fehr: why do we always measure things with our mind after all its just accumulation of words that we can never decide exactly what they mean and after all to mean something it's a symbol why use symbols to explain symbols why not go to the real thing
Zen Arado: but life is uncertainty isn't it?
Eden Haiku: bewildered in the wild plains of Being
Zen Arado: we are too sacred - want to hold onto the familiar
    Zen Arado: scared *
    Bleu Oleander: uncertainty, agree Zen
Riddle Sideways: would really love to Lugh
Eden Haiku: It's a human drive to understand isn't it?
Zen Arado: understand yes - pin it down into neat categories - no
Bleu Oleander: understand without a position of certainty
Eden Haiku: My cat is quite content with Being.
Archmage Atlantis: I can't answer what the "real" thing to go to is, as all I am capable of is the perceptions of my being
    Bleu Levasseur: mine too
    Eden Haiku: ;)
Io Larkspur: One job of the ad campaign is to make your experiences "familiar," comfortable, and necessary -- but only within the frames that the ad-men want you to use. . . . (consider "familiar" religious practice, for example)
Eden Haiku: If someone would come up with the ultimate TRUTH what would we do? hehe
Lugh Fehr: its already the real thing words are just part of it your senses are another and so are your feelings and anything els the mind beats reason while the heart beats blood thats what i think anyways
Io Larkspur: "Dropping" - theoretically, anyway - should provide another experience for us.
Bleu Oleander: don't think we have to worry about that for a long time Eden :)
Eden Haiku: This is it Lugh!
Eden Haiku: You came up with it my prince...
Io Larkspur: Coca-Cola HAS come up with the ultimate truth (so has every major religion) -
Io Larkspur: Coke is the REAL THING!
    Eden Haiku: hehe
Bleu Levasseur: unqualified what sort of real thing
Eden Haiku: Riddle is real. His tag says so...
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: we each already have the real thing. For Free. The Ad agency does not make any money on it. So re-package and sell it back to us
Io Larkspur: ;-) wonderful point, Riddle.

    --BELL--

    oO0Oo Resident: cosmic joke
Io Larkspur: except I'd say that we don't "have" it - but "are" it.
Eliza Madrigal: I've read so much 'teaching' over the years, and hear myself saying their words sometimes ... because those words resonate with my sense of Being... but then *here* I'm attentive to trying to 'stop' that... and let myself hear what I have to express directly... so "I" is in play but more 'unknown' , unguarded, and in that sense, more real
Bleu Oleander: seems funny to have "Being" and "Ad men" in the same conversation :)
Sartre Placebo: Back to the subject of "starting in the end" the budda nature is within us
Bleu Levasseur: sorry, have to go
    Zen Arado: slips out too
Lugh Fehr: and the monkey mind is within budha
Eliza Madrigal: bye lugh and zen
Bleu Oleander: I need to go as well .... thanks Eden .... bye all beings :)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, Bleu and Zen
    Sartre Placebo: bye zen,bleu
Riddle Sideways: funny that my other computer is running something named Ad-Aware
Eliza Madrigal: (listening to names in my head Lugh and Bleu...
    Lugh Fehr: beybey
    oO0Oo Resident: bye beings
Io Larkspur wonders what is telling these folks they "have" to go. . . are there some ad-men moles in our midst?
Eden Haiku: Bye all those leaving ! Waves
Sartre Placebo: bye sam and who's leaving
    Eliza Madrigal: :D
    Eden Haiku: sam is oOOOooo?
    oO0Oo Resident: Sam staying
Eliza Madrigal: "starting at the end" is a wonderful pointer, Sartre... thanks
Riddle Sideways: well, in this case my partner is telling me it is time to make money
Eliza Madrigal: heh, yes I was confused for a while too Eden :)
Eliza Madrigal: has to do with different viewers
Archmage Atlantis: At the 1 AM meeting, I sat here alone for 30 minutes.........was the silence a sales pitch?
    oO0Oo Resident: bye riddle
    Lugh Fehr: byebye
    Sartre Placebo: bye riddle
Riddle Sideways: bye all and thanks
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Riddle!
Sartre Placebo: actually i sometimes wonder a little on the issue of how a "not grasping economic society" could exist
Io Larkspur: Sell "frames" that create new perceptions of reality that are comfortable, "necessary," and (if possible) addicting. . . and you'll make lots of dough for your partner and yourself.
Eden Haiku: Riddle poofed just as I was taking his picture...:( It looks like: nothing…[but I had an earlier one good enough to use for the log]
oO0Oo Resident: practically, we have to work with the hope and fear eh?
Eliza Madrigal: never want to make beings a means to an end...
Io Larkspur: Folks are looking for someone to give them "frames" of reality.
Eden Haiku: Sartre: "how not grasping economic society" could exist". Interesting...
Eliza Madrigal: how do we trade up, for less, is one of my question lately ... on a practical level ...
Archmage Atlantis: Remove all humankind from the planet, does that end the issue? Or does it also exist for the animals that remain?
Eliza Madrigal: appreciative humans on the planet :)
Sartre Placebo: soon we will be 7 Trillion :)
Eliza Madrigal: humans who are aware
    Eden Haiku: 7 trillion?
Archmage Atlantis: To be against something, is no different imo that to be for it....regardless of how the position one arrives at is obtained, call it ads or experience
Sartre Placebo: How to count in french eden ?
Eliza Madrigal: okay... Riddle's last sentence is nagging at me... time to make the donuts
Sartre Placebo: million, billion trillion ?
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Eliza Madrigal: Bye for now everyone
Lugh Fehr: well most of them are sheep so all that is needed to change the whole culture of the world are 500 good humans pulling in the ruffly same direction
    Lugh Fehr: byebye
Sartre Placebo: or like in germany million, milliarde, billion
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Lugh
    Sartre Placebo: bye lugh
Eliza Madrigal: thank you eden and everyone
Io Larkspur: Bye bye Frog King.
Lugh Fehr: byebye tnx for the conversations very nice :)
    oO0Oo Resident: bye lugh
    Archmage Atlantis: ribbit
    Eden Haiku: Bye Lugh!
Io Larkspur: The ad men are now telling me that a big winter storm will come in tonight and that I "need" to stock up with food, etc. . .
Io Larkspur: so I will also be gone.
Io Larkspur: May all be happy and safe.
Eden Haiku: Bye Eliza :) Io :)
    Sartre Placebo: bye io
oO0Oo Resident: ty io, you too
Eden Haiku: Sorry, was afk for a minute...missed a lot...trillion of things!
Eden Haiku: Did any of you noticed tha tAdams also did a Theme Session on Sunday morning?
Eden Haiku: A spontaneous one.[adding the link here: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/Chat_Logs/2011/01/2011.01.09_07:00_-_Dropping_the_Waves_to_See_we_are_the_Ocean ]
Sartre Placebo: yes, i was also there
oO0Oo Resident: thinking of pema's statements "here" and "there". It's as if our incessant grasping is here, and a realized being is there. What a leap.
Eden Haiku: What I like a lot in these theme sessions is that I can hear your voice Sartre! (as Yaku usually...)
Eden Haiku: I like when Pema says he has a deep devotional relationship with Being.
Sartre Placebo: ah, i relog :P
Eden Haiku: No. It's fine being Sartre Sartre...No worries :)

    Eden Haiku: giggles
    oO0Oo Resident: np
oO0Oo Resident: was thinking the same Arch :)
Eden Haiku: Hi Yaku. Was just saying :Sartre it's fine being Sartre…

Relogging, Yaku came back talking… on voice

Eden Haiku: Do all of you have voice chat abilities?
Yakuzza Lethecus: arch isn't on voice so it would be bad
Yakuzza Lethecus: and sam is reluctant
Eden Haiku: Ah, better not then.
Eden Haiku: What did you mean by "allowed" Yaku?
oO0Oo Resident: nice to hear your voices anyway! :)
Eden Haiku: I can sing something if you would like?
Archmage Atlantis: I think that puts a bow on it for me......now to wait for the party :) ......go ahead with voice, I'm about to depart.. have a wonderful day, or afternoon, or evening.....tata :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
    Eden Haiku: tata

    Yakuzza Lethecus: ***** APPPPPPPLLLLAAAUUUSSSSeeee***********
    oO0Oo Resident: Yes, very nice!!!!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :P
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
oO0Oo Resident: OK I go , and you two chat
Eden Haiku: These were the mantras to Sarasvati, the goddess of writing in Hindu Tradition...
    Eden Haiku: No..me too...
Eden Haiku: You are quite new to Play as Being O aren't you?
oO0Oo Resident: OK well, perhaps all then, but I must so. Well, it is really good to hear voices.

Yaku and I being the last ones left,  we had a nice little chat on voice about his Voice Session (Friday 12 SLT noon ) for which  he would like more focus. Then he read aloud this beautiful poem about Being by Heidegger. Yaku reads poetry with so much emotion and meaning, I thought maybe next time he could briefly use voice in a theme session to read the poem. As we reflected about the theme sessions, the so many words exchanged, I thought that some short breaks into voice or even movement would help us keep focused yet going with the flow. There are many ways through which we could communicate our experiences of Being (the Art of Being current experiment being a one of them that we must not forget!) Let's keep exploring!
