Moon Fargis: bertrul. yes trech resize and also restexture is possible
Fael Illyar: Yes, it's possible to make them look quite different with simple changes :)
Moon Fargis: just rezz a rock, open your inventory, choose a rock texture, hold down ctrl and drag the texture file from your inventory at the rock

Bertrum Quan: Whether or not it is true that eveything is information, it seems to me the question might relate to harmony with what is,,,

Bertrum Quan: From my own perspective after the sitting, I felt a instant of harmony. No words... Harmony is my attempt to describe it.

Moon Fargis: well for sure it is in harmony, the one who interprets it as information makes a disharmony ou of it with his mind

Fael Illyar: I guess I could define the way I meant "information" to be whatever it is that is this "wordless thought" that I do most of my thinking with.

Fael Illyar: so... if there was to be something not expressable as this "information", we would be entirely unable to perceive it.
Fael Illyar: I'm still hesitant to say anything about this harmony since I'm a bit unclear on what you mean with it.
Fael Illyar: but I don't see anything I'd interpret as disharmony if that's what you mean
Bertrum Quan: To be entirely in turm with everything pereceived (and not perceived)--to be in tune what what IS, is the idea I thought about.

Bertrum Quan: I'm interestied in hearing from you the artist's statement... your artistic goals for the sim.

Moon Fargis: well all my plans where finished, my prims are mostly all used, so i think there wont be large changes anymore,
Fael Illyar: I think Bert meant what you had in mind when you were building it?

Moon Fargis: hmm soms sort of nice place to live and relax, a buddhist place ofcourse where peaople can come down from their stessed days in rl and sl :)

Moon Fargis: also to create a litte sangha of buddhists with meditations and talks
Bertrum Quan: Yes, I do think you have succeeded. I'm only been in SL less than 2 months, but I've been very impressed by the creativity on some many levels. What Dakini and Storm have built as well...

Fael Illyar: Considering the direction things are going, SL is going to be just one part of a huge number of different, but compatible virtual world networks.
Fael Illyar: it might well be the largest for quite some time though.

Fael Illyar: However, your original question was about the duality or RL/SL. Not either as is.

Fael Illyar: People just often don't let you know their normal identities here.
Bertrum Quan: Yes. That might be a "small" duality. In the larger sense, I agree with the point you've made.
Fael Illyar: you can also make a phonecall without telling who you are.
Fael Illyar: most people jsut don't do much of that.
Bertrum Quan: It's somethng of a psychology duality in SL/RL. In the sense of identify.
Fael Illyar: Yes, SL allows you to build an identity here that is meaningful on it's own.
