Eliza Madrigal: Hi Adams, Paul . Sorry to be late :)
Paul Namiboo: Hello Eliza
Adams Rubble: Hello Eliza. It is OK, we are ungathered together this morning
Eliza Madrigal: Paul, wow, that bottle has lasted a lifetime
Eliza Madrigal: ungathered? :)
Paul Namiboo: No problem, we're facing the awful task of gathering ourselves together -- I'm still on Australian time
Adams Rubble: Paul just asked me if I know God
Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eliza Madrigal: What a way to start the day :)
Adams Rubble: :)
Paul Namiboo: The great thing about my '45 Mounton is not only does it last, I never get a hangover!
Adams Rubble: It is a good way to start a heated discussion :)
Eliza Madrigal settles in by the fire
Adams Rubble: You can decide if I mean God or the bottle
Eliza Madrigal: Paul, funny. That reminds me of Pema's 'engine running on no fuel' analogy
--BELL--
Paul Namiboo: Remember what Houseman said: "Malt does more than Milton can to justify god's word to man"
Eliza Madrigal: People try to put God in a box, stick a label on... guess God can go in a bottle too...heh
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Qt! :)
Adams Rubble: Hello Qt :)
Qt Core: Hi all
Paul Namiboo: Hi QT
Paul Namiboo: Well, we all just solved the theological problems of the universe -- not bad for an early morning
Adams Rubble: :)
Qt Core: and i lost the answer for what 10 seconds ? ;)
Paul Namiboo: The answer is '45 Mouton :)
Eliza Madrigal: "You know you've created a God in your own image when he hates all the same people you do" Anne Lammot
Paul Namiboo: Great!
Paul Namiboo: Doi any of you know how I can pass Onigokko (dance script) on to someone else?
Adams Rubble: Hello Coucouille
Coucouille Morigi: hi all
Paul Namiboo: Hi Coucouille

Eliza Madrigal: Your mic is on Paul...
Coucouille Morigi: i hope there are another topics!
SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs
Adams Rubble: :)
Eliza Madrigal: courcouille, Sure....what would you like to discuss? :)

Coucouille Morigi: humm nice question
Coucouille Morigi: i'm like in an interview
SophiaSharon Larnia: haha
Coucouille Morigi: with you ' in front of me
Eliza Madrigal: Are you familiar with what we like to do here, micro-meditations and such?
Coucouille Morigi: yeah
Coucouille Morigi: i'd like this find a subject is too hard for me at this time
Eliza Madrigal: Well, its easy if we don't think about doing it... and just do it...
Adams Rubble: Hello Moana :)
Adams Rubble: Have you been here before Moana?
SophiaSharon Larnia: HI Moana, welcome back Paul
Coucouille Morigi: but doesn't exist for me
Eliza Madrigal: stop in the pause to "let go of what we have, to see what we are"
Coucouille Morigi: so in a bottle
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Moana :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, thats okay too Coucouville
Adams Rubble: We are as a Play as Being group Moana

Adams Rubble: I will give you a notecard that tells a bit about us
--BELL--
Wol Euler: hello everyone
Eliza Madrigal: Hey Wol :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Wol, didnt see you come in :)
Coucouille Morigi: hi wol
Adams Rubble: Hello Wol :)
Adams Rubble: Moana, we try to stop every fifteen minutes to stop for nine seconds
Adams Rubble: we meet here to talk about our experiences
Adams Rubble: The group meets four times a day
Adams Rubble: you are welcome to join any of the sessions
SophiaSharon Larnia: can you say more about what you mean about bottling, Coucouville???
Adams Rubble: The bottling comes from us Sharon :)
Moana Pooraka: thanks Adams, will hand here for a bit and lurk if ok.
Qt Core: hi wol
Coucouille Morigi: ABout Bottling?
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes :)
Adams Rubble: we seem to have put God in a bottle this morning
arabella Ella: Hiya
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ara!
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, i like to think I unbottle
Adams Rubble: quite by accident in our ungathering together
SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Arabella :)
Adams Rubble: Hello Arabella :)
Coucouille Morigi: hi ara
Eliza Madrigal smiles... like that Sharon... uncontaining... :)
Qt Core: ara :)
Wol Euler: hello ara
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, sometimes (like when i first came to PaB, it unbottled in a big burst
Adams Rubble: :)
arabella Ella: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, say more?
SophiaSharon Larnia: am more conscious of that occuring
Adams Rubble: I know what you mean Sharon :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: not examining, just feeling
SophiaSharon Larnia: thanks :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: riding the wave
Paul Namiboo: still trobl Bye
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh sorry Paul, bye for now
Adams Rubble: bye Paul. Hope you get some good rest
Eliza Madrigal: hmm... nice.. so not trying to figure it out, Sharon, just noticing?
arabella Ella: bye Paul
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Paul :) Cheers
SophiaSharon Larnia: hmmm, a part of me always wants to 'figure it out'
Eliza Madrigal grins
Adams Rubble: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: but accepting this is not so, and appreciating what is there
Adams Rubble: Good to learn that while it is fun to figure things out, we don;t have to
Adams Rubble learning slowly
Adams Rubble: very slowly :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: i think in artistic terms, unbottling is when artist who start later in life, have a huge burst of productivity when they discover their talent
SophiaSharon Larnia: just a strange association, sorry :)
Eliza Madrigal: No, that's fantastic... late bloomers... A year ago there was a marvelous article which highlighted so many who came into their own in 40s...50s...
arabella Ella: i think it makes a lot of sense, not only for artists, but it may have more of a link with motivation
Eliza Madrigal: I think it was the New Yorker, very inspiring to think that later in life some are just beginning :)
Eliza Madrigal: How so ara?
arabella Ella: there is a stage in life when we are more motivated somehow ...
arabella Ella: perhaps less constrained by other stuff which previously held us back
arabella Ella: less risk
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes :)
Adams Rubble: yes, seeing what we are rather than what we have :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: this can apply to spiritual matters also
arabella Ella: exactly
Qt Core: or the urge to do something with sald life
arabella Ella: yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
Wol Euler: yes, eliza, I remember that, contrasting Picasso (peak around 21) with Matisse (peak in his late 60s)
SophiaSharon Larnia: wow
Adams Rubble: Well, both had long productive careers
Adams Rubble: peaking argumentative
SophiaSharon Larnia: nods
Wol Euler: the executive summary was "if Matisse had had career counselling, he'd never have become a painter"
Adams Rubble: sorry, that is the "know-it-all" Art Historian speaking
SophiaSharon Larnia: cool Adams :)
Wol Euler: :)
arabella Ella: :)
Adams Rubble: Don't forget Grandma Moses who started painting abround 65
Adams Rubble: and continued into her 90s
--BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning everyone
Yakuzza Lethecus: except fael i guess :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: oh there were wrong ppl in the cache of my radar
Qt Core: i have to go, may be back later (or not :) )
Yakuzza Lethecus: bye qt
Wol Euler: ciao qt
Eliza Madrigal: Fantastic, thanks for the knowledgeable contrasts, Wol and Adams...
SophiaSharon Larnia: (giggles at the thought of a 90 years old lady with brushes tucked behind her ears)
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Qt, and Morning Ya :)
Adams Rubble: Hello Yak, buue Qt
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Qt, Hi Yakuzza
Moana Pooraka: Thank you for your welcome. I must go now. I'll be back, and contribute another time.
Adams Rubble: bye Moana
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Moana :)
Adams Rubble: If we focus on the present there is no barrier of age
SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Adams Rubble: anything is possible
Eliza Madrigal: MMM :)
Eliza Madrigal: Potential
Adams Rubble: we can start bover anytime :)
Adams Rubble: over
SophiaSharon Larnia: that idea really does highlight drop what you have
Wol Euler: back, hello yaku
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, for sure Sharon... drop age...
Adams Rubble: or anything else in the way
SophiaSharon Larnia: i meant to start over anytime, you'd drop all ideas about the life you once lead
Eliza Madrigal: I heard someone say about meditating on impermanence, that accepting death was easier than accepting aging
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Wol Euler: heh, I can see that.
arabella Ella: a different sort of inevitability I guess ... death and age
Wol Euler: death certainly is less worrying than the thought of a decade of helpless decrepitude
arabella Ella: that is so scarey Wol
Wol Euler nods soberly.
Adams Rubble: if we focus on the present we can accept anything
arabella Ella: yes ... our being here and now
Adams Rubble: Then it is what it is
Adams Rubble: decrepituide is something we have, not what we are
Adams Rubble: or may have (giggles)
SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
arabella Ella: it is something ppl have that makes then what they are
Wol Euler: sorry to put such a downer on hte group.
Adams Rubble: disagree Arabaella
Adams Rubble: It doesn;t have to
Eliza Madrigal: hmm, and well I suppose it must help life/potential to flow, when we don't try to hold onto it tightly
arabella Ella: depends on gravity i guess
Adams Rubble: or on how we hold on to it Arabella
arabella Ella: perhaps i took it to mean an extreme when we dont even have the ability to hold on to anything anymore ... apologies if i misunderstood
Adams Rubble: It is a tricky area Arabella
Eliza Madrigal: "I ache in the places where I used to play..."
SophiaSharon Larnia: hmm where is that from Eliza ?
Adams Rubble: but there seems to be a timeless part of ourselves
Eliza Madrigal: Leonard Cohen ...
SophiaSharon Larnia: thanks
Adams Rubble: that part doesn;t change
Eliza Madrigal: who at a concert said "Fifteen years ago I was just a 60 year old kid with a dream"
arabella Ella: yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: smilkes
Wol Euler: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: umm
Eliza Madrigal: :) So inspiring
Adams Rubble: Time for us to move to the Village Hall
SophiaSharon Larnia: ok
Wol Euler: ah, yes.
Yakuzza Lethecus: jep
arabella Ella: yes
Eliza Madrigal: Oh!..wow yes...see you all there :)
arabella Ella: c u all there
SophiaSharon Larnia: will be parked here for a min, be right there
Wol Euler: bfn
Adams Rubble: yep
Adams Rubble waves
