Perfection seems to me to be a standard we humans set up for how everything should be. But nature just works itself out in vast inexplicable ways with lots of hardship and cruelty involved too. Why should it conform to our petty standards ?
Walking today too... musing on equanimity and also friendliness/niceness/manners/openness/beauty and what 'positive feedback' looks like in that context. Played with pictures. Amazing how different two pictures of the same setting or object might look depending on angle and lighting, among other things.
Appreciate the sensibility Zen expressed, re nature conforming.
