doug Sosa: i found myself noticing the lack of eye contact of the other.
doug Sosa: even if I “let go” i could not not notice.

doug Sosa: One talked about conversation as jazz, but he kept talking, violating his own description. i found myself nine seconded and just noticed my choice beween pointing it out or letting it go.
Pema Pera: an opening in the flow perhaps, in the undercurrent, the pull of the flow of the conversation?
doug Sosa: actually an opening in the flow itself to a palce without flow but not at all staic.
Pema Pera: going along with the dance and tuning in is obviously a good thing to do, but being bound by it may be too much — yet something we all tend to do, I think

Pema Pera: so in a sense beyond the dynamic of the flow and the static of no-flow?
doug Sosa: it didn’t feel beyond, it felt just present.

Pema Pera: Yes, many people seem to find them distracting, and lower the level of sound
Pema Pera: but mostly I have my sound muted, so I’ll leave it to you all to regulate

Pema Pera: you then either have people reading it raw, with the most likely chance they will never get back to reading the comments
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: color the entire text ligth grey? or, even better, use the deki strikeout feature
Pema Pera: or they have to keep track of not only what they read but in which stage they read it
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: well, its a tricky issue, cause commenting includes formatting, which is easier to do inside the wiki than all outside in a text editor
