The Guardian for this meeting was Bruce Mowbray. The comments are by Bruce Mowbray.

    Wol Euler: hello sunshine, bruce
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Wol
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Wol. Good to see you again.
Bruce Mowbray: This is Sun - and her first time here.
    Wol Euler: hello sun, welcome.
Sunshine Vayandar: ty ;) nice to meet both of you ;)
Bruce Mowbray: We're a playful, friendly, respectful bunch, Sun - so please relax and feel free to contribute in whatever ways suit you.

    --BELL--

Sunshine Vayandar: thanks Bruce ;) looking forward : just not sure what to look forward to ;p

    Sunshine-01-18-11.jpg
Bruce Mowbray: I do need to tell you that every fifteen minutes a bell will ring - indicating that we will be in silence for 90 seconds.
Bruce Mowbray: (That was the bell - just then).
    Sunshine Vayandar: hmm really
Sunshine Vayandar: what is the reason?
Bruce Mowbray:  We call that a "drop" or a "pause" -- and what we do is "Drop what we have to discover what we are."
    Wol Euler: hello Mick
Bruce Mowbray: (That's all in the notecard).
    Mickorod Renard: Hello all
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Mick ;)
Bruce Mowbray: Hey Mick -- Good to see you again.
Mickorod Renard: yea, good to see u all
Bruce Mowbray: This is Sun -- her first time at PaB today.
    Mickorod Renard: hello sun
    Mickorod Renard: Sun
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi ㋡
    Sunshine Vayandar: sounds great, Bruce
Sunshine Vayandar: found your song ;)
Bruce Mowbray: @ Sun - sometimes we have a set topic -- but usually we just talk about whatever folks want to talk about.
    Sunshine Vayandar: kk
Bruce Mowbray: If someone has a particular concern - then we talk about that, if folks want to.
    Sunshine Vayandar: ok ;)
Bruce Mowbray: it is discussion and discovery and exploration -- it is NOT psychotherapy (ha ha).
    Wol Euler smiles.
Sunshine Vayandar: is there a short description of the reason for this group
Bruce Mowbray smiles back at Wol.
Sunshine Vayandar: or I just listen in first
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, on the notecard -- and also, I will find you a web link.
Bruce Mowbray: just a sec, please.
Sunshine Vayandar: I have it ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: just don't wanna read now
Mickorod Renard: I think we learn to cope with our own funny thoughts by talking through other people's concerns
    Sunshine Vayandar: better experience
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I agree, Sun. But if later you want to check out Play as Being meetings, here's a fine URL for that:
    Bruce Mowbray: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/About_PlayAsBeing/About_Our_Meetings
    Sunshine Vayandar: oh great ty
Mickorod Renard: I enjoy the relaxed friendship we have
Bruce Mowbray: Our chats are also posted. . . We meet four times a day, around the clock and around the world -- at these times:
    Bruce Mowbray: 1 am, 7 a.m., 1 p.m., 7 p.m. (all SLT)
    Sunshine Vayandar: great ;)
    Bruce Mowbray: right here....
Sunshine Vayandar: i heard about you today from a friend at Perfect Paradise sim
Mickorod Renard: I like to chill out here
Sunshine Vayandar: looks like the perfect chill ;)
Mickorod Renard: what's perfect at paradise sim?
    Mickorod Renard: is it good?
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm it is a community - we chat a lot about different topics
Mickorod Renard: wow, similar to here
Sunshine Vayandar: many there run their own RL/SL projects of all kinds
Sunshine Vayandar: just in general - a community trying to be more aware about things around them and in them
Mickorod Renard: we also have the 90 second thing
    Sunshine Vayandar: that is fantastic
Mickorod Renard: I find the practice is very good for rl issues
    Wol Euler nods.
    Wol Euler: definitely.
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm I would love to have such a group in RL
Mickorod Renard: clearing the fog of confused multi thoughts
Sunshine Vayandar: but kinda isolated in this town
Wol Euler: that's the advantage of SL, Sun :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Mickorod Renard: I think it hard to find sufficient like-minded people in any sized town

    Bruce Mowbray: me too, Mick.
    Sunshine Vayandar: hmm u think?
    Wol Euler: unlikely :)
    Wol Euler: it is unlikely.
Mickorod Renard: many folk in rl are too reserved to admit a liking for chat like this
Sunshine Vayandar: this is why I feel there is kind a difference between RL and SL community life
Wol Euler: you'd need a large city to contain as many people of a single specific interest as you'll find here
Sunshine Vayandar: hm that is true
Wol Euler: but if you lived in that large city, you'd probably still never meet them because of geography
Sunshine Vayandar: so I am not so unique? ;p
    Wol Euler: sadly, no :)
    Wol Euler grins.
Sunshine Vayandar: even though I am convinced we are all the same eventually
Mickorod Renard: I get a suspicion that Quaker meeting houses may have similarities
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Mickorod Renard: but I am too shy to try one
    Sunshine Vayandar: try what?
    Wol Euler: hello sam
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi
    oO0Oo Resident: hi everybody
Mickorod Renard: going along and presenting myself to total strangers
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Samuo -- Good to see you again.
    Mickorod Renard: Hi oOOOOooo
Sunshine Vayandar: oh kk Mick ;)
Mickorod Renard: yes Bruce, what do u think?
Bruce Mowbray: We will "drop" and have silence for 90 seconds when the bell rings at 15 past the hour... btw.
Sunshine Vayandar: well, living abroad makes it easy to get into situations like that a lot
    Sunshine Vayandar: kk Bruce ;)
Bruce Mowbray: I agree totally, Mick.

    --BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: Samuo, this is Sun - and this is Sun's first time at the fountain.
oO0Oo Resident: pleasure to meet you
Sunshine Vayandar: nice to meet you Sam ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: am i the only first timer ?
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;p
Wol Euler: not a problem :)
Wol Euler: everybody is new at something, sometime.
Bruce Mowbray: Well . . . I sort of suspect that one of the fish is also a first -timer.
    Sunshine Vayandar: for sure
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    oO0Oo Resident: swimmingly put, Bruce
Bruce Mowbray:  Blub will now go to greet the first-timer fish.
Mickorod Renard: its funny, during the break I was reflecting on why I have been absent for a while; the only conclusion I had was that i had too much noise of activities going on in rl, surely a good reason to come here, not stay away
    Wol Euler: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Wol Euler: but I do know what you mean, it can seem like this takes too much clarity or energy
Sunshine Vayandar: I try to be in a more aware space somehow through my day
Mickorod Renard: it can feel like an extravagance, even frivolous
    Wol Euler nods.
Mickorod Renard: I meant my bit re coming on sl
Sunshine Vayandar: I feel like a Martian because of that lol
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Mickorod Renard: did u say you are away in another country from your home, Sun?
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes
Sunshine Vayandar: I am Hungarian but living in Africa
    Sunshine Vayandar: big change
    Wol Euler: wow
Mickorod Renard: is it a permanent move or just short term?
    Mickorod Renard: wow
    Sunshine Vayandar: 13 years already
    oO0Oo Resident: wow
    Mickorod Renard: wowwwww
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: I feel more African somehow than Hungarian ;)
Mickorod Renard: I guess Africa is home then?
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes
Sunshine Vayandar: I felt like I had to move to Africa - not sure why
    Bruce Mowbray: Wow and wonderful!
Wol Euler: now that is interesting :)
Bruce Mowbray: May I ask which country, Sun?
Sunshine Vayandar: I think traveling helps you learn to drop things
Mickorod Renard: I moved away from home for 8 years and although it was an experience I didn't settle and became lonely
    Sunshine Vayandar: South Africa
    Sunshine Vayandar: 8 years?
    Mickorod Renard: cool
    Bruce Mowbray: OK --- ty!
Sunshine Vayandar: and are you back home now?
Mickorod Renard: well 7 and a bit :)
    Mickorod Renard: yes
Mickorod Renard: 7 i got the itch real bad
Sunshine Vayandar: well I seem to be very lonely too - I didn't expect it at all
Mickorod Renard: owww, then I can understand how u feel
Sunshine Vayandar: it might have many reasons I suppose
Sunshine Vayandar: it's very different to live in a country so different from yours
Bruce Mowbray finds feeling "lonely" to be interesting - especially since he's not felt that emotion in many years.
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Mickorod Renard: yes, yet some make the change very easily, for some reason
Bruce Mowbray listens intently to learn more.
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm lonely for me means - that I haven't gone out to have tea with a friend in 13 years
    Bruce Mowbray: Oh my!
Sunshine Vayandar: so it's not so easy lol
Wol Euler: do you mean a particular friend, or never at all?
    Sunshine Vayandar: never at all
    Sunshine Vayandar: well maybe once
    Wol Euler: O.O
    Wol Euler: wow
Sunshine Vayandar: and before that I used to go all over the place
    Sunshine Vayandar: traveled the world
Wol Euler: but in 13 years have you not made new friends?
Mickorod Renard: I hungered for a good conversation
Bruce Mowbray: You're welcome to have tea with us -- four times every day, Sun.
Sunshine Vayandar: I have been running a non-profit open source project for 10 years here
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Sunshine Vayandar: you are lovely guys ;)
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Wol Euler: ty
    oO0Oo Resident: interest piques
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol ;)
    Bruce Mowbray listens.
oO0Oo Resident: hey Blub looks great with the Koi, Bruce
Sunshine Vayandar: I decided to start a dream project where I explore openness
Bruce Mowbray: Blub is playing shark. . .
    Mickorod Renard: dream project?
    Wol Euler listens.
Sunshine Vayandar: lol he seems confident
    oO0Oo Resident opens to listening
    Alfred Kelberry: wee!
    Wol Euler: hi boxy
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Alfred
    Alfred Kelberry: woly :)
Bruce Mowbray listens even more intently to Sun.
Mickorod Renard: we have a dream session at Kira after this
    Sunshine Vayandar: I mean boxy
    Alfred Kelberry: hello, pablings :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey , Boxy.
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Alfie
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi boxy
Sunshine Vayandar: well it all started in an Indian music club in Budapest
    oO0Oo Resident: openness Sun?
Alfred Kelberry: sun is emitting lovely roses :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol
    Mickorod Renard: as they do
    oO0Oo Resident: of course
    Wol Euler: :)
    Mickorod Renard: :)

    --BELL--

    Alfred Kelberry: ah, lotus
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm but it's time to drop I think ;)
Alfred Kelberry: thank you, sun :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: yw
Wol Euler puts a finger to her lips.
    Alfred Kelberry: *thinks: nice lips*
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Wol Euler: ty sun
    Sunshine Vayandar: yw ;)
    Mickorod Renard: that was quick
    Mickorod Renard: ty
Mickorod Renard: so Sun, tell us the story
    Wol Euler: yes, please do
    Mickorod Renard: please
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: well once upon a timeeee
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm I grew up as a musician
Sunshine Vayandar: and played classical European music since I was 8
    Mickorod Renard: wow
Sunshine Vayandar: much to the horror of the neighborhood
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
    Wol Euler: why?
    Bruce Mowbray doubts that!
Sunshine Vayandar: because I didn't know how to tune the violin
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;D
    Wol Euler: o.O
Wol Euler: you were entirely self-taught?
    Wol Euler: wow.
    Mickorod Renard: eeek
    Sunshine Vayandar: nono
Sunshine Vayandar: but when you are small someone else does it for you
Sunshine Vayandar: it's not so easy first
Sunshine Vayandar: and one day when I was about 18 I visited an Indian music club
    Sunshine Vayandar: with my grandmom
Sunshine Vayandar: it was very unusual for Hungary
Sunshine Vayandar: and I was shocked how different they played
Sunshine Vayandar: different sounds - and it somehow never ended ;)
    Mickorod Renard: yes
Sunshine Vayandar: and there wasn't clapping
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
Sunshine Vayandar: and people played in pajamas
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;D
    Wol Euler: :)
Sunshine Vayandar: opposite to the concerts I was used to
    Mickorod Renard: so less formal?
Sunshine Vayandar: and this club had concerts once a week
    Sunshine Vayandar: much less
Sunshine Vayandar: and we learnt about the guru - student relationships
Alfred Kelberry: a classical concert in pajamas would be nice
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm why not ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: Paganini in Pajamas ;p
    oO0Oo Resident: with pranayama
Alfred Kelberry: maybe you should organize one :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Mickorod Renard: proms in pijama's
    Bruce Mowbray listens, fascinated.
    Mickorod Renard: me too
Sunshine Vayandar: and so all that made me think how different teaching and learning can be
    Wol Euler: :)
Sunshine Vayandar: we could even do it in pajamas ;p
Sunshine Vayandar: and it seemed like your teacher becomes your friend
    Mickorod Renard: nice
Sunshine Vayandar: there is so much respect between the sitar student and his / her teacher
oO0Oo Resident: the star being the sun?
Sunshine Vayandar: and they didn't ask money for classes
    Sunshine Vayandar: nono ;)
Alfred Kelberry: isn't it so in a classical environment?
Sunshine Vayandar: then I thought it was too complex to even try sitar
    Sunshine Vayandar: or tabla
    Mickorod Renard: loves the sitar
Alfred Kelberry: yes, sitar is lovely
Sunshine Vayandar: in a "modern" class you mean?
Sunshine Vayandar: I just found everything so different
    Sunshine Vayandar: incense, tea served
Alfred Kelberry: in your violin class
    Sunshine Vayandar: videos about India
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, tea
    Alfred Kelberry: nice
Sunshine Vayandar: and chat about different ragas and beats
Sunshine Vayandar: violin class was very rigid
Sunshine Vayandar: and no pajamas ;p
    Bruce Mowbray: hmmmm.
Bruce Mowbray: boooooo hissss -- no pajamas..... ;-(
Sunshine Vayandar: of course that was my feeling
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol
    Bruce Mowbray: :-) me too.
Sunshine Vayandar: and so this started me on this exploration about teaching and learning and music
    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Chi Aho.
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Chi ;)
    Wol Euler: hello chi
Mickorod Renard: would you suggest the formal violin was ridged replication and the sitar class guided creativity?
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Chi
    Chi Aho: Hello everyone
Sunshine Vayandar: well at a violin class - there is a book to read music from
    Mickorod Renard: mm yes
Sunshine Vayandar: and always given melodies
Sunshine Vayandar: Indian club - no book and no melody is always the same
Sunshine Vayandar: and there are different ragas for different time of the day, season
Alfred Kelberry: could you play something? :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: it's more organic
    Sunshine Vayandar: hehe ;)

    --BELL--

Sunshine Vayandar: I am usually just jamming on
    Mickorod Renard: like life
Alfred Kelberry: we seem to have a lot of musicians on board. it'd be nice to organize a live concert event :)
Sunshine Vayandar: yes like life ;)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Sunshine Vayandar: so I started to learn about flowing more like life
Sunshine Vayandar: not having too many plans - rather just enjoy things
Sunshine Vayandar: and I thought that whatever I know - I can teach to anyone that needs it ... and then he/she can teach it to the next person etc
    Mickorod Renard: nice idea
Sunshine Vayandar: so I started to ask people to teach me things
Sunshine Vayandar: in exchange for something I can teach
Sunshine Vayandar: I am sure you have done things like that
    Wol Euler: erm, no :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Darren
    Wol Euler: hello darren
    Darren Islar: hi everyone :)
Wol Euler: it is fascinating though.
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Darren - Welcome back!
Sunshine Vayandar: I thought that was interesting that no money is involved
    Chi Aho: Hi darren
    oO0Oo Resident: hi darren. chi
    Mickorod Renard: hi darren
Wol Euler: One thing puzzles me, Sun: why did a love of *Indian* music lead you to *Africa*?
    Sunshine Vayandar: hehe ;)
    Alfred Kelberry: it's in chapter 9 :)
Mickorod Renard: yes, I was wondering that
Sunshine Vayandar: I told you I am from Mars
Sunshine Vayandar: i do funny things
Wol Euler: I would have thought there were more Indian music in India ... but perhaps that's just simplistic :)
Alfred Kelberry: we're all from various planets here :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol
    oO0Oo Resident: :
    Sunshine Vayandar: ah thank god
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Sunshine Vayandar: planetary meeting ;)
oO0Oo Resident: circling the sun today ;)
Mickorod Renard: I was thinking of giving exchange lessons in love
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
Sunshine Vayandar: that is so nice Mick
Alfred Kelberry: Mick, I'll sign up :)
    Mickorod Renard: free of course
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
Sunshine Vayandar: how would u do it, Mick?
Mickorod Renard: it would be very personal and individual :)
    Darren Islar: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Mickorod Renard: just pulling ur leg
Alfred Kelberry: um... i think woly could teach some love too :)
Wol Euler: actually I dreamed about doing that :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;p
    Alfred Kelberry: ha! :)
    Wol Euler: :)))
Darren Islar: we know you Mick, don't worry :)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol
Darren Islar: you did wol ?
Alfred Kelberry: *reassigns himself to woly's class*
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    oO0Oo Resident: :) boxy
Wol Euler: when I was in Japan, I dreamed one night that I was giving a pair of Japanese teenagers lessons in mime, using only gestures
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Wol Euler: since I spoke no Japanese and they no English
    Sunshine Vayandar: wow
    Wol Euler: yeah
    Mickorod Renard: cool
    Wol Euler grins
    Darren Islar: ah
Sunshine Vayandar: I never had a dream like that ;)
Wol Euler: it was a really funny dream, my gestural inventiveness actually woke me up laughing
Mickorod Renard: I only know rude gestures
Darren Islar seeing some fish in the pool next to Blub :)
    Wol Euler: hello Agatha!
    Agatha Macbeth: Evenin' all
    Alfred Kelberry: aga! :)
    Darren Islar: hey Agatha

Bruce Mowbray: Aggers! Great to see you!
    Wol Euler: hello pila
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Ags
    Darren Islar: hey Pila
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Agatha ;)
    Alfred Kelberry: omg, pila! :)
    Mickorod Renard: Hey Pila
    oO0Oo Resident: hi pila, Agatha
    Pila Mulligan: greetings
Agatha Macbeth: And hello again Pila :p
Alfred Kelberry: such a rare guest :)
Pila Mulligan: dream discussions all over the place today
Wol Euler: happy new year, Pila :)
    Mickorod Renard: howz our Ags?
Agatha Macbeth: Smilin' for a change
Pila Mulligan: hauoli makahiki hou, Wol
    Mickorod Renard: great :)
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Pila -- Welcome back!
    Agatha Macbeth: That too

    Pila Mulligan: hi Alfred
Darren Islar: smiling is good :)
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Sure is
Alfred Kelberry: smiling aga is a lovely sight :)
Agatha Macbeth: It's doing it can be difficult
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Pila Mulligan: et al
oO0Oo Resident: smiles are free and shine in all directions like the sun
Alfred Kelberry: sun, do you also play vuvuzela fluently? :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Mickorod Renard: lovely thought
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: There's always the Sun ;-)
Sunshine Vayandar: yes I am quite good
Sunshine Vayandar: you might hear it also if I really start
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
Alfred Kelberry: gah! we're ought to organize a live concert! :)
Sunshine Vayandar: yes we could ;)
Mickorod Renard: that would be a nice idea Alf
    Sunshine Vayandar: anyone plays instruments?
Agatha Macbeth: Are you going to sing Alf?
Alfred Kelberry: yes, quite a few musically inclined people around here
Alfred Kelberry: aga, you don't want to hear :)
    Agatha Macbeth: You're probably right
Pila Mulligan thinks of South African football games
    Agatha Macbeth: ??
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Alfred Kelberry: pila :)
    Pila Mulligan: the vuvuzela Ags
Agatha Macbeth: Sorry, that one missed me totally
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm I should make one I think
    Sunshine Vayandar: in SL
    Darren Islar plays the piano
Sunshine Vayandar: I am the new comer ;) and from South Africa ;)
    Agatha Macbeth: Very good

    --BELL--

Mickorod Renard: I think I will have to go to dreams now
Pila Mulligan: it would be fun to have playable instruments for a SL thing
    Pila Mulligan: sweet dreams Mick
    Alfred Kelberry: night, Mick
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: nitenitee Mick
Wol Euler: bye Mick, dream well
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Micko
    Mickorod Renard: c u soon
    Zon Kwan: hi there
Darren Islar: nite Mick, hey Zon
Wol Euler: well, there are plenty of musicians giving live concerts in SL
Mickorod Renard: hi Zon,  bye zon
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Zon
    Wol Euler: hello Zon
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Zon ;)
    oO0Oo Resident: bye Mickorod
Bruce Mowbray: Welcome, Zon -- always good to see you.
Alfred Kelberry: have you been to any world cup games, sun?
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm so who else plays music?
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes I have
Wol Euler played (past tense) violin too
Alfred Kelberry: i play some guitar
    Sunshine Vayandar: it was amazing
    Sunshine Vayandar: yay Wol
Sunshine Vayandar: I try to play it often
Alfred Kelberry: ok, we have 2 violin players already for the concert :)
Sunshine Vayandar: and a guitar player
Wol Euler: actually I play bass guitar in SL :)
    Alfred Kelberry: haha
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
Bruce Mowbray: I took piano lessons from age 5 to age 16 -- then played as an adult.
Alfred Kelberry: never seen you doing that, wol :)
Bruce Mowbray: but haven't played the piano for many years now.
    Sunshine Vayandar: kk
Wol Euler: there are many things you haven't seen me doing, Boxy :)
Alfred Kelberry: bruce, time to brush up your piano skills :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Fortunately :)
    Wol Euler: :-P
    Alfred Kelberry: woly, mmm :)
Alfred Kelberry: Darren could help you, Bruce :)
    Alfred Kelberry: Mick is back!
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm instead of me talking - I can show you some photos - to give you an idea about the cafe
Darren Islar: first I need to get the dust off my own piano :)
    Wol Euler: oh, good idea.
    Alfred Kelberry: hehe
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: I feel bad talking so much ;p
Alfred Kelberry: funny how music is often forgotten as we grow older
    Wol Euler: naaah
Pila Mulligan: not a problem, Sunshine
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Sunshine Vayandar: http://www.flickr.com/photos/opencafe/sets/72157600054708803/detail/
    Pila Mulligan: music is magic
Sunshine Vayandar: if u like u can have a look there
Bruce Mowbray thinks: Too many old demons involved with the piano lessons for me to return to them. . .
Agatha Macbeth: The talkative ones compensate for the quiet ones
    Sunshine Vayandar: really Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: Really!
Sunshine Vayandar: I am usually very quiet
    Agatha Macbeth: Sure
Pila Mulligan: but they may have moved on, Bruce
Sunshine Vayandar: so it feels strange - may be it's not me ;p
Agatha Macbeth: Can't beat a good move
Darren Islar: ohhwww, too bad for such a nice instrument
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Darren Islar: but I'm afraid it happens a lot
Bruce Mowbray is still working on child abuse issues related to piano. . . sry.
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear
Chi Aho: Sorry to hear that Bruce.
Darren Islar: I think music lessons are taught in a different way
    Alfred Kelberry: Freedom Toaster :)
    Wol Euler: :(
Sunshine Vayandar: I am not sure how to understand that ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: u know about the toaster?
Mickorod Renard: yea, I have a piano
Bruce Mowbray: So. . . I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed hearing your story, Sun.

    Sunshine Vayandar: kk chi ;)
Bruce Mowbray: I am being called to the Working Group for PaB now -- and will start to feel guilty very soon if I don't go to that group. . .
Agatha Macbeth: Is she early or late?
Alfred Kelberry: *wonders what's in the mail*
Bruce Mowbray: So, if you folks will continue with your wonderful discussion. . . and I will sneak out. . . on tip toes...
Darren Islar: do we still have mail ladies ?
    Agatha Macbeth: Looks that way
    Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, everyone!
    Mickorod Renard: bye Brucie

Wol Euler: take care, Hana, speak to you soon
    Agatha Macbeth: Sayonara
Mickorod Renard: what's a WG meet?
Wol Euler: Working Group, I guess
Agatha Macbeth: A place to meet wgs
    Mickorod Renard: ways of going?
    Wol Euler: or that
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Agatha Macbeth: They all look alike to me
Mickorod Renard: brb, getting a cup of tea
    Sunshine Vayandar: kk Mick
Alfred Kelberry: um, I have to go
Alfred Kelberry: it's been nice meeting you, sun :)

    oO0Oo Resident: Bye boxy :)
Agatha Macbeth: Bye for now Boxy
Alfred Kelberry: thank you for the company
Sunshine Vayandar: nice meeting you boxy ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm what are the things you chat about usually ?
    Agatha Macbeth: All and everything
    Pila Mulligan: bye Alfred
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Wol Euler: pretty much, yes.

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: Das vidaniya Alf
    Mickorod Renard: bye alf
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
    Wol Euler: :)
    Chi Aho: :-)
Darren Islar: and about 'nothing' :)
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm I see ;)
Agatha Macbeth: It's hard to talk about nothing
Sunshine Vayandar: yesterday I went to a lecture about nothing
    Agatha Macbeth: Wow
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Darren Islar: a lot of people have a lot to say about 'nothing' :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes
Sunshine Vayandar: ppl can talk for days and days ;)
    Mickorod Renard: that's so true
Pila Mulligan must slip away -- bye for now
    Sunshine Vayandar: byebyee Pila ;)
    Darren Islar: bye Pila
Agatha Macbeth: Aloha Pila, take care
    Zon Kwan: byes all
    Sunshine Vayandar: take care
Mickorod Renard: but a discussion about nothing could be more interesting
    Mickorod Renard: bye Pila
    oO0Oo Resident: bye Pila :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: true Mick
    Sunshine Vayandar: brb
Wol Euler: bye Pila, enjoy the day
Wol Euler: bye Zon, take care
    oO0Oo Resident: bye Zon
    Agatha Macbeth: C ya Zon
    Mickorod Renard: bye Zon
Mickorod Renard: we discuss being sometimes
Mickorod Renard: that is a nothing too
    Agatha Macbeth: Only sometimes
    Darren Islar: and an everything
Darren Islar: it is a hard concept
Chi Aho: Yesterday I heard an interesting voice talk in sl
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Mickorod Renard: yes?
    Mickorod Renard: tell us all:)
Chi Aho: it was about the different types of ppl who log on to sl
    Agatha Macbeth: Whoa, big subject
Chi Aho: according to The Roadside Philosopher
    Chi Aho: very good speaker
    Mickorod Renard: mmmmm
Darren Islar: and what types are there?
Chi Aho: She said there are the disassociatives, the immersives, and the augmentatives
    Darren Islar: ah yes........
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh yes
    Mickorod Renard: 3?
    Agatha Macbeth: Snap
    Darren Islar: :)
Chi Aho: the disassociatives are really not involved; they are the opposite of the immersives who live for sl
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
Mickorod Renard: I wonder which one I am?
Agatha Macbeth: I'm one of the Don't Knows
Chi Aho: then the augmentatives just want to add to what is going on
Chi Aho: She gives a talk every 2 weeks i am told

Actually, it's once a month: Pamala Clift gives her "Three States of Being in SL" on the first Tuesday of every month  - 6 p.m. SLT, at the Rockliffe University's Emerald Room

Mickorod Renard: that sounds like me
    Wol Euler is definitely immersed
oO0Oo Resident: how we get from star dust to these categories, I can only wonder
Mickorod Renard: my wife says I am argumentative
    Wol Euler: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: back
Darren Islar: we have those too on sl Mick, don't worry :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Chi Aho: yes, i hear plenty from the argumentatives in the philosophy sims
    Chi Aho: LOL
    Mickorod Renard: he he he
Chi Aho: This lady said she had been married 37 years
Mickorod Renard: she must know everything by now then
Chi Aho: but had a different husband in sl (with her rl husband's approval of course)
    Chi Aho: true
    Chi Aho: she was amazing
Chi Aho: loved hearing her speak
Darren Islar: to me it seems to be: the older you get, the more you realize you know nothing
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Chi Aho: how true
    Sunshine Vayandar: sounds familiar
Mickorod Renard: that sounds like philosophy too
oO0Oo Resident thinks; I must have been born old
Chi Aho: this Roadside Philosopher was kind of "homespun" - refreshing
    Wol Euler: :)
Darren Islar: experienced based, this time :)
    Chi Aho: yes
    Darren Islar: :) Sam
Mickorod Renard: I recall a strange event
    Wol Euler: mmm?
Darren Islar: but that 'knowing nothing' seems to be a key to great things
    Darren Islar: yes Mick?
Mickorod Renard: It was like a hallucination
Mickorod Renard: I saw this old guy at the top of some stairs/ladder
Mickorod Renard: I thought it was God
Mickorod Renard: I was well shocked
Mickorod Renard: but a passage of information came and it was me
Mickorod Renard: and in between me and me was my life
Mickorod Renard: beyond was not known
Mickorod Renard: so u never get an answer, just the life u get
    Darren Islar: wow
    Chi Aho: wow again
Mickorod Renard: it was just a like day dream
oO0Oo Resident: life as wow unfolding

    --BELL--

Mickorod Renard: yes, spooky to see forwards
Mickorod Renard: as well as backwards
Wol Euler: that was quite wonderful, Mick.
Chi Aho: Has anyone learned things about themselves since being in sl?
Mickorod Renard: well, it seems silly now, but it was quite effecting at the time
Darren Islar: oh yes, still do
    Mickorod Renard: me too
Wol Euler: yes, chi, I've learned quite a lot about "me"
Wol Euler: that me is a plural, for example
Agatha Macbeth: My name is legion for we are many
Wol Euler: but on that cliff-hanger I will have to leave you, my dears. Goodnight, take care, be happy
Agatha Macbeth: Bye Wol, have fun
Chi Aho: ty Wol; goodnight to you
    Darren Islar: nite Wol :)
Sunshine Vayandar: byebyee Wol ;) time for me to go too
    Darren Islar: bye Sun
Sunshine Vayandar: ty for the nice welcome
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    oO0Oo Resident: bye Wol:)
    Darren Islar: bye Agatha
Agatha Macbeth: Nighty night all, have fun
    Sunshine Vayandar: take care all
    Chi Aho: bye now
    oO0Oo Resident: bye Agatha
    Mickorod Renard: bye Ags
    Mickorod Renard: bye Sun
Mickorod Renard: sorry, i am a bit slow
    Darren Islar: we noticed :)
    Mickorod Renard: erk
    Mickorod Renard: bye Wol
Chi Aho: Sam you have been very quiet.
    Darren Islar: hehehe
oO0Oo Resident: try to listen more sometimes
oO0Oo Resident: just let it flow
oO0Oo Resident: and chime in when the spirit moves
    Chi Aho: and?
oO0Oo Resident: when the group grows as it did this round, I notice it is harder to keep up with the pace, and my tendency is to back off and give space
oO0Oo Resident: then, like now, it changes again
oO0Oo Resident: a bit more intimate
    Darren Islar: yes
Chi Aho: Want to tell us anything about yourself?
oO0Oo Resident: I'd like to tell you that I'm a 6th degree black belt in something, but .... I'm not-  lol
    Darren Islar: :)
oO0Oo Resident: Revelation comes in weird ways with me
oO0Oo Resident: sometimes the tap is on, sometimes not
    Chi Aho: from meditation?
Mickorod Renard: I am nothing special in that respect either, its nice to come to terms with that and not feel undervalued
oO0Oo Resident: I am pretty new to SL, and not settled in any way of being yet
Mickorod Renard: is that being or Being?
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Chi Aho: i have found that different sims seem to develop their own group culture
    oO0Oo Resident: :) Mick
Darren Islar: like in rl yes
Chi Aho: here it is more gentle than many places
oO0Oo Resident: yes different cultures Chi
Mickorod Renard: here it is very accommodating
oO0Oo Resident: To me, this is a remarkable experiment
oO0Oo Resident: with indirect magical miracles
    Chi Aho agrees
Darren Islar: sl is or PaB is, or both
Mickorod Renard: do you mean PaB or SL?
    Darren Islar: snap
    Mickorod Renard: ahh, he he
    oO0Oo Resident: PaB
Mickorod Renard: yes, that is a strong expression but perhaps accurate
    Darren Islar: how so Sam?
oO0Oo Resident: Well, if I were to answer that fully, I'm afraid I might inadvertently cause a shift in the universe that would steer PaB in a way I would not like ;)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    oO0Oo Resident: howzat?
Darren Islar: the weirdest answer I ever got :)
    oO0Oo Resident: snap
Mickorod Renard: I think if I recall all the avi characters that have visited during my duration, which is quite a long time, I have only seen positive effects

    --BELL--

Darren Islar: I guess I need to make a shift in my own universe
Mickorod Renard: me too, getting late
    Darren Islar: see you :)
    Mickorod Renard: bye darren
Chi Aho: that rl thing; me too
Mickorod Renard: bye Guys, have fun
    Darren Islar: right :)
oO0Oo Resident: bye all, I press on too. Lovely to see you all
    Chi Aho: see you Mick
    Chi Aho: bye all
    Mickorod Renard: bye Chi,,oOOOo
    oO0Oo Resident: best wishes all
