I, Tarmel Udimo was the guardian, and the comments are hers. When I arrived a new visitor ( a friend of mine) was there already talking to Crusty. Soon Gaya turned up.

Crusty Goldshark: ah OK I am in London - cold here - ice on the ground - had to put water out for the birds as things are frozen

Crusty Goldshark: well I don't think everybody dies . . . some Mongolian lama is still not decaying and this is coming for Saints. Do any turn into a rainbow body? Or just a myth?

Tarmel Udimo: I thought attaining the rainbow body happened during the life time not afterwards

Tarmel Udimo: well i used to believe in reiencarnation now I'm not so sure
Gaya Ethaniel: Sometimes I wonder if 're-incarnation' is a symbol for patterns we sometimes go through even in one life span...
Tarmel Udimo: it feels like this is it for tarmel, she only has this life as me and then that's it back to the sky and trees and earth...
Crusty Goldshark: Is anyone sure? I think the ability to detach the conciousness whilst alive is only barely understood and is normally seen as an interior experience . .
Gaya Ethaniel: Re-incarnation as a particular Individual... I'm not so sure
Tarmel Udimo: can you say more both of you?
Crusty Goldshark: Yes many incarnations one life is a very much more mature way of understanding and using reincarnation

Gaya Ethaniel: That idea came to me yesterday so you think in that terms too Crusty?
Crusty Goldshark: The idea of continuity of ego is illusionary - I am not the same person I was yesterday or a few minutes ago - but I have memories of that past and the construction of adistinct ego emerges - it is nonsense
Crusty Goldshark: Yes Gaya - I believe reincarnation is a primitive superstition - like gods descending, born of virgins, speghetti monstors and eskimos

Crusty Goldshark: Nobody knows - it was just an explanation that appealed to the suffering masses

Tarmel Udimo: coming in on a life stream and taking up the memories that go with that stream...
Crusty Goldshark: At what point does one thing turn into another?
Tarmel Udimo: 'Death animated' no I don't think so... its pretty clear when the life force is present and having seen my Dad pass over it was very clear when he was no longer alive but dead...
Tarmel Udimo: or the life force had moved on... but you know the Tibetans talk about the death of the body which takes longer
Crusty Goldshark: Tarmel I have seen dead people but not been present. I have also not died or have a memory of it and I doubt that such memories of previous existences are valid - for example mystics of non reincarnation religious systems have no such memories because they have no such expectations . . .
Tarmel Udimo: Pila has a memory of his last death....
Crusty Goldshark: Well the Tibetan book of dying that yoou may be familiar with talks about the death of the body as taking a lot longer and I think they have some valid pointers - sadly tied in with superstition and nonsense
Tarmel Udimo: and i understand what you mean about expectations... I think we create the reality we are living so this idea would make sense
Gaya Ethaniel: Such memories could be others' [Storm pointed out to me before]
Tarmel Udimo: yes the Tibetan book of the dead...

Crusty Goldshark: Pila may have a memory, I have memories, not all of them are real . . .
Gaya Ethaniel: Not one's own... but I can't be sure
Tarmel Udimo: no not all of them are real, but either Pila just made it up or he actually had the expereince of reliving his death either way its valid for Pila...

Tarmel Udimo: what's your 'religious' b/ground gaya?
Crusty Goldshark: Agreed - valid (as an experience - as is sitting around this fountain - it has some form of reality - but talking of it as having a soul transfer - transmigration - not convinced . . .
Gaya Ethaniel: I follow a Buddhist teacher but open to other ideas as well.
Tarmel Udimo: okay, well talk to Pila because it had a context for this life now which makes sense..
