Paradise Tennant: I have a clock that chimes :) really like listening to the chimes but it marks a passage

Zen Arado: aren't they allowed to join SL?
Barcalona Rhapsody: i dont know
Barcalona Rhapsody: but i seldom see them here
Zen Arado: me neither
Barcalona Rhapsody: i hoped here with all these asian styled buildings
Barcalona Rhapsody: but they were mostly look alike japanes
Zen Arado: they are becoming more affluent
Barcalona Rhapsody: it takes time
Barcalona Rhapsody: sure
Zen Arado: adopting Western lifestyle
Barcalona Rhapsody: maybe
Barcalona Rhapsody: chines in western style buildings
Barcalona Rhapsody: u see all over asia
Zen Arado: apartments
Barcalona Rhapsody: with western style habits too
Barcalona Rhapsody: even talking perfectly english
Barcalona Rhapsody: china becomes the largest english speaking country in the world
Barcalona Rhapsody: in about ten years
Barcalona Rhapsody: i think that is an opportunity
Barcalona Rhapsody: sorry paradise

Paradise Tennant: hmm well I think it depends on what you want to think about
Zen Arado: depends what I want others to know about me

Paradise Tennant: in rl I am sure .. you think about it quite a lot .. might be nice not to think about it here

Zen Arado: or whether I want them to know that straightaway
Barcalona Rhapsody: thats escapism
Zen Arado: yeh
Paradise Tennant: hmm not sure it is that relevant though
Barcalona Rhapsody: orientalism is also escapism
Zen Arado: I usually tell ppl after a while anyway
Barcalona Rhapsody: that may be better
Zen Arado: it comes up when you start to talk about your life
Paradise Tennant: yes but does not have to be the focal point .. you are not in your body here :) more like being in your mind
Barcalona Rhapsody: so u have no stigma at first glance
Zen Arado: yeh understand that Paradise
Zen Arado: but feel I am giving a false impression too otherwise
Paradise Tennant: hmm not sure .. about that ..
Paradise Tennant: what is false about it
Zen Arado: and I do not like to focus on it

Paradise Tennant: yes that makes sense
Zen Arado: or identify myself with a disease
Paradise Tennant: yes

Barcalona Rhapsody: u dont have to identify as disabled
Zen Arado: I see others do that though
Barcalona Rhapsody: because your spirit is stron and healthy\
Paradise Tennant: not sure it is disabled .. would not think of it like that

Zen Arado: even use a wheelchair in SL
Barcalona Rhapsody: as i put on glasses in sl
Paradise Tennant: more like facing a challenge some get harder ones than others
Zen Arado: yeh
Zen Arado: maybe I'll take it off again

Zen Arado: not many are completely honest about their RL physicality I suspect
Barcalona Rhapsody: thats the power of fantasy
Zen Arado: or only slim ppl oin SL :)

Paradise Tennant: here you can express your preferences in a way .. that is more work in rl :)

Paradise Tennant: he is in a wheel chair but such a gifted artist .. has done some amazing videos :)

Paradise Tennant: I met her in Princeton at a mini retreat .. she is a very lovely person in rl too :)

Paradise Tennant: like looking at things on an atomic level .. nothing is really separate it all blurs a bit
Barcalona Rhapsody: but u make more contrasts
Barcalona Rhapsody: so make it more clear
Barcalona Rhapsody: or better to eat
