The Guardian for this meeting was Storm Nordwind. The comments are by Storm Nordwind.
Storm Nordwind sits quietly while, in the distance, treasure hunters scour the region. :)
People begin to arrive.
SophiaSharon Larnia: good morning Storm!
Storm Nordwind: Good monring Sharon!
Storm Nordwind: The sim is alive with treasure hunters it would seem :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: it is! and IM's floating around!
Storm Nordwind: haha!
Storm Nordwind: wonderful
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, thank you so much
Storm Nordwind: I wasn't expecting to have to change it on the fly, but I think I did so just in time
SophiaSharon Larnia: you did! just 2 done so far :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Eliza!
Eliza arrives - and she's armed.
Eliza Madrigal: :) Hi Sharon and Storm
Eliza Madrigal: Ive come to shoot things at storm for making the hunt so hard, hehe
SophiaSharon Larnia: HA!
Eliza Madrigal giggles
Storm Nordwind: So hard??!
Storm Nordwind: Oh dear
Eliza Madrigal: well... an hour wandering for 5...
The first treasure hunt winner arrives, wearing her crown.
Bleu Oleander: hi all :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :) don't gloat.... will have to shoot things at you too, giggles
Storm Nordwind: Well of the two people who have done it so far, one did it in 40 mins and the other in 3 hours.
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Bleu :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) I'm sure it is something so obvious
Bleu Oleander: hehe
Bleu Oleander: the end was the hardest
Eliza Madrigal: one thing I found easily because I stumbled upon it beforehand and went back later
Eliza Madrigal: but hmmm
Bleu Oleander: no crowns here yet?
Eliza Madrigal: just clowns
SophiaSharon Larnia: youd be good at the twisted hunts storm lol
Bleu Oleander: haha
SophiaSharon Larnia: haha Eliza :)
Storm Nordwind observes a lot of hunters around today, so expects so soon
Eliza Madrigal: I thought for sure Sharon would have it done fast...
Storm Nordwind: So you're still looking to solve #5 Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: yes, sigh
--BELL--
SophiaSharon Larnia: i do them in sl, but stuck on #1 of all things :D
Eliza Madrigal: maybe you're not warmed up yet Sharon :)
Bleu Oleander: haha Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: heheh
SophiaSharon Larnia: maybe :) or really awake today
Taking the blame and giving hints.
Eliza Madrigal: I will have to tell my boss I'm very sorry that nothing got done today... and point to Storm...
Bleu Oleander: radical times call for radical measures :)
Storm Nordwind: Without even saying clue #5, I think you'll find there's one and one only place NOWADAYS in the whole sim that fits that description. That wasn't always the case though.... ;)
SophiaSharon Larnia: i think its a valid excuse
Eliza Madrigal: yes...
SophiaSharon Larnia: files that comment away for later
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: drive all blames into storm
Storm Nordwind laughs
SophiaSharon Larnia: ;p
Eliza Madrigal: hmmm...considering clue....
The story of the changed clue.
Storm Nordwind: Well I blame Sharon for my having to redo clue #4 ;)
Storm Nordwind chuckles
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh no, what did i do?
Storm Nordwind: Not really!
SophiaSharon Larnia: when something disappeared because i forgot to wear my tag when i rezzed it?
Storm Nordwind: It's quite safe for me to reveal the old clue #4
Storm Nordwind: First footfall for many / on their first village visit
Eliza Madrigal: yes I wondered what happened... riddle and bleu obviously were okay...
Storm Nordwind: The default landing point for the whole of the sim
Bleu Oleander: i remembered where it used to be
SophiaSharon Larnia: in the middle of the post :P
Storm Nordwind: But it changed when we started SL retreats
Eliza Madrigal: wow
SophiaSharon Larnia: ohh
Storm Nordwind: It's now in the monument, but it used to be at the south end of the path
Bleu Oleander: remembered landing there many times before becoming a guardian
Storm Nordwind: Riddle very kindly pointed that out, so I changed it
Eliza Madrigal: how interesting
Eliza Madrigal: and obscure :)
Bleu Oleander: that was actually one of the easiet clues for me
Storm Nordwind: A little village history :)
Storm Nordwind: I thought it the hardest of the clues anyway, so was glad to change it
Bleu Oleander: like asking where were you born?
Bleu Oleander: hehe
SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Eliza Madrigal: haha.... 'what color were the doctor's eyes, that delivered you?"
Bleu Oleander: haha
SophiaSharon Larnia: wow
SophiaSharon Larnia: sounds like identifying info question on a cedit card or something, next to mothers maiden name
Storm Nordwind: exactly - not the best of clues.
A successful change.
Storm Nordwind: So you must have found the new #4 OK to be stuck on #5 ;)
Eliza Madrigal: yes.... was great with 4
Eliza Madrigal: though it did take a while because there was a near enemy
Storm Nordwind: haha!
Difficulty with anagrams.
Bleu Oleander: the last one was the hardest ... spent almost all the time on that one :)
Storm Nordwind: Not a crossword addict perhaps?
Eliza Madrigal is scared and determined not to cheat
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, i cant find # 1 that doesnt give me much comfort lololol
Eliza Madrigal: hahahahah
Bleu Oleander: no, struggle with crosswords :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: me too Eliza
Cheats and bribes.
Eliza Madrigal: maybe cheating has a loophole... like the needles eye
Bleu Oleander: have had several bribe offers so far
SophiaSharon Larnia: ha!! wow
Storm Nordwind: I don't think the rules said anything about bribes not being possible... but my sense of personal integrity... ;)
SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes... I have to admit I've been known to use service elevators...
Bleu Oleander: ha!
Eliza Madrigal: think think...
Storm Nordwind: Good morning Lucinda
Bleu Oleander: interestingly I had remembered seeing most of the clue places over the last year
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Luci :))
Bleu Oleander: hi Luci
Eliza Madrigal: you must be great at memory games Bleu
Bleu Oleander: where's your crown Luci?
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Luci!
Lucinda Lavender: Hi Eliza, Bleu, Storm, Sophia
Lucinda Lavender: snaps figers ...have not started that...do you think it is within my capability?
Bleu Oleander: I have a good visual memory ... not so good with words
Bleu Oleander: sure Luci
Does knowledge of history help?
Lucinda Lavender: wonder if I need to know more history of Pab..oh ok:)
Storm Nordwind: It's especially possible if people work together
Lucinda Lavender: maybe this evening I will try:)
--BELL--
Storm Nordwind: There's one clue - #2 - where knowing a little of PaB history may speed you up, but it's by no means essential.
Storm Nordwind: Curious eyes will suffice.
Eliza Madrigal: :) fun one
SophiaSharon Larnia: files that away too <3
Storm Nordwind: Hi there Yaku!
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey, good morning everyone
More about the last Dream Circle.
Lucinda Lavender: :) was just rereading the dreamcircle log from yesterday and related to flying I wanted to say something regarding the dream..
Bleu Oleander: hey Yaku
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Yaku :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ya :)
Storm Nordwind: Please do Luci!
Eliza Madrigal leans in
SophiaSharon Larnia: listens
Flying, dying and initiation.
Lucinda Lavender: ah...I noticed there was flying in both dreams and what I had not said yesterday was that perhaps when one allows the ego to die or tun toward light...the experience of flying, levitation etc is able to be experienced
Storm Nordwind: Inetersting
Lucinda Lavender: had not heard the dying part till I came home and reread it all..
Eliza Madrigal: that IS interesting
Lucinda Lavender: felt there was a connection between the two levels of dream
Eliza Madrigal: releasing hold
Eliza Madrigal: I found the Knowledge aspect most fascinating
Lucinda Lavender: nodding
SophiaSharon Larnia: interesting
Lucinda Lavender: and the word empowermnet comes to mid regarding the telekinesis etc
Eliza Madrigal: both dreams had a sense of opening to larger Knowing by dying
Eliza Madrigal nods
SophiaSharon Larnia: frightening
Eliza Madrigal: or not by dying... but...
Storm Nordwind: That's an interesting insight too Eliza. Often have to let go of one thing before we can learn another :)
Lucinda Lavender: yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: consciousness in a different space with different rules
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Storm Nordwind: But there was no fear at all - though that would have been unusual for me, so can't judge
Lucinda Lavender: felt some how this was initiation sort of dream
Retrospective.
Eliza Madrigal: to me both dreams seemed retrospective
Lucinda Lavender: definately
Storm Nordwind does not see the retrospective bit
Eliza Madrigal: Knowing was already there... so there was like this play of showing
Eliza Madrigal: access/enter first, show/understand later ... something like that
SophiaSharon Larnia tastes the phrase 'play of showing'
Storm Nordwind does not lives in the past at all - is not a reflective personality - so is not at home with 'retrospective' :)
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Lucinda Lavender: :))
SophiaSharon Larnia: in a way, can seephenomon as a play of showing
Lucinda Lavender: this might not mean retrospective but more like wholistic?
Eliza Madrigal: its like hm...timelessness....
Eliza Madrigal: yes
Eliza Madrigal: reading backwards
Lucinda Lavender: there you go
Eliza Madrigal: Sharon, neat...
Lucinda Lavender: expanding bounds of possibility
Storm Nordwind lives in the perpetual now - perpetually - as reflecting on the past (or the future) robs him of experiencing WHAT IS right now :)
--BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: ... has the taste of scooping up what is (now) and drinking it in... so hm, what is difficult is the words, don't think we disagree Storm , as far as 'going somewhere'
Reflection.
Bleu Oleander: we all reflect upon the future to make predictions based on the past so we can live in the now
SophiaSharon Larnia: thinks, most things can be summed up in few words, the commentary volumes, and wonders why she thinks that
Eliza Madrigal: unpacking :)
Storm Nordwind politely disagrees with Bleu :)
Bleu Oleander: politely accepts that Storm
Lucinda Lavender: I like the term perpetual...:)
Eliza Madrigal: :))
SophiaSharon Larnia: developing that would sure reduce my personal anxiety Storm :)
Eliza Madrigal: there is a sense of nothing fixed, not even in 'now'
Debating 'now' and watching thoughts.
Bleu Oleander: we actually never quite live in the now consciously
Eliza Madrigal: so one person may describe future and past as flavors of now?
Bleu Oleander: conscious "now" is always a bit late
Storm Nordwind: Only if your awareness involved rational linear thought Bleu! :)
Lucinda Lavender: we are continually stepping back ...storm can you say more?
Eliza Madrigal thinks bleu must understand storm's way of thinking pretty well to have solved the hunt, heheh...
SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Storm Nordwind chuckles
Bleu Oleander: awareness is consciousness to me
Storm Nordwind: For me too Bleu, but thoughts are something auxiliary to that awareness
Storm Nordwind: I watch them arise and pass
Bleu Oleander: conscious awareness arises after unconscious awareness
Storm Nordwind: They do - as you say - remove one slightly from the now
Bleu Oleander: even thoughts of the past or the future happen in the conscious now
SophiaSharon Larnia: if i realized conscously everything my unconscious sees, id prob lose my mind
Lucinda and her best excuse.
Lucinda Lavender: brb..chickens...
SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Eliza Madrigal: (Luci has the best brb excuse)
Storm Nordwind: Now there's a wonderful conversation interjection
Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Storm Nordwind: brb..chickens...
Storm Nordwind: wow!
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, had a vision of Luci feeding chickens
Eliza Madrigal: there is some sense that one can go far away on a stream of thoughts but not also not anywhere at all
Eliza Madrigal: we all went with luci to feed chickens
SophiaSharon Larnia: or calling children chickens <3
Bleu Oleander: :)
Storm Nordwind: That's quite literally getting "carried away" Eliza perhaps?
Eliza Madrigal: :)) perhaps... but maybe at different levels? die at one level, levitate on another, feed chickens on another...
SophiaSharon Larnia: ive let myself do that many times, what normally happens to me is a deep space of nothing that is more like a sleep trance then mindful meditation
Eliza Madrigal: hmmm
SophiaSharon Larnia: of course, im talking about something very individual and hard to express
Eliza Madrigal nods
Lucinda Lavender: back...
Storm Nordwind: welcome back!
SophiaSharon Larnia: wb :)) We are interested in your chickens Luci
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Lucinda Lavender: cluck cluck they say. and such
Eliza Madrigal pictures chickens in Luci's space box....
Storm Nordwind laughs
Lucinda Lavender: good idea...went looking for them once
Lucinda Lavender: not sure how to procure tho
Eliza Madrigal: haha
Eliza Madrigal: ok... will give myself 15 minutes to continue the search
Eliza Madrigal: thanks for this session Storm, everyone
Bleu Oleander: have fun Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: sorry for shooting you with watermelons
Eliza Madrigal: ;-)
A large chicken joins us.
SophiaSharon Larnia: like this one luci ? lol
Eliza Madrigal: hahahahahha
Bleu Oleander: yikes!
SophiaSharon Larnia: giggles
Bleu Oleander: big chicken
Lucinda Lavender: yes:):)
Lucinda Lavender: well any are ok by me
SophiaSharon Larnia: was a freebie, apparently the menu says can ride it
Lucinda Lavender: wow!
Bleu Oleander: I would believe that
Eliza Madrigal: hahah...wow, I'm leaving just as chicken riding begins...
SophiaSharon Larnia: 32 prims eh gads
Lucinda Lavender: imagine it living in the space box as a surperise to visitors
Eliza Madrigal waves
SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Eliza!!
Bleu Oleander: chicken riding .... new session perhaps?
Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Lucinda Lavender: well tiny is better then...too many prims perhaps
Yakuzza Lethecus: bye eliza
SophiaSharon Larnia: rather primmy for leaving out
Storm Nordwind: A 32 prim chicken
Storm Nordwind: And not even a single egg!
SophiaSharon Larnia: right? hahahah
Lucinda Lavender: really!
Lucinda Lavender: wow
--BELL--
Bleu tries to ride the chicken.
Storm Nordwind: But no riding script inside
SophiaSharon Larnia: oooh isee
Lucinda Lavender: your guys match rather well!
SophiaSharon Larnia: was freebie i have no idea why its in my inventory
Bleu Oleander: doesn't go very fast
Storm Nordwind laughs
SophiaSharon Larnia: sorry bleu i see now, no ride script inside
Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Lucinda Lavender: this is what I guess could be called chicken sitting
Bleu Oleander: hopefully no one got a pic of that!
SophiaSharon Larnia: giggles
SophiaSharon Larnia: nope i didnt bleu
Bleu Oleander: phew
Lucinda Lavender: I think I did...
Storm Nordwind: They can use it to blackmail you into giving the answers to clues Bleu!
SophiaSharon Larnia: guess ill take back the 32 prim chicken
Lucinda Lavender: fine
SophiaSharon Larnia: ha! Storm
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, it burned into my memory :)
Bleu Oleander: we'll talk later Luci :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: why do in 5-6 prims what you can do in 32?
Saying good bye.
Bleu Oleander: have fun you chickens .... bye for now
Lucinda Lavender: it was too blurry:)
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Bleu :))
Lucinda Lavender: no one here but us and the chicken
Lucinda Lavender: good day to all...
SophiaSharon Larnia: when i moved to my house several years ago, i was charmed by the sound of the rooster next door, i didnt know they crowed all day :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Luci!
Storm Nordwind: Bye Luci - and thank you :)
Lucinda Lavender: they sure can...have one up the block.
SophiaSharon Larnia: he I thought it was when the sun came up :D
Lucinda Lavender: welcome and thanks to you all...
Storm Nordwind needs to take a look at the Art Dome to see if any new exhibits need labeling
Storm Nordwind: Would you excuse me friends? :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: take care the two of you
SophiaSharon Larnia: great idea! want to look for clue # 1 :D
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye for now :))
Storm Nordwind waves
