The Guardian for this meeting was Pema Pera. The comments are by Pema Pera.

    Pema Pera: Hi 0!
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Pema! Nice to see you :)
    Pema Pera: same here!
Pema Pera: actually, I just realized that "0!" is 1
Pema Pera: (small point, mathematical notation)

(brief mathematical interlude, zero factorial, or 0!, equals one)

oO0Oo Resident: works well though as saying it ends in 'oh' either way
    Pema Pera: :-)
    oO0Oo Resident: flexible
Pema Pera: how are things with you?
    oO0Oo Resident: adaptive
    oO0Oo Resident: good
oO0Oo Resident: I saw a nice quote today. I'd like to share
oO0Oo Resident: let me find it
    Pema Pera waits in anticipation
    oO0Oo Resident: ty for waiting
oO0Oo Resident: Unpack karma and you get cause and effect. Unpack cause and effect and you get affinity. Unpack affinity and you get the tendency to coalesce. Unpack the tendency to coalesce and you get intimacy. Unpack intimacy and you will find that you contain all beings. Unpack containment and there is the goddess of mercy herself. -Robert Aitken Roshi
    Pema Pera: nice quote, Sam!
    Pema Pera: Hi Eden!
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Eden :)
    Pema Pera: and hi Paradise!
Eden Haiku: Hi Pema, hello oOOOo!
    oO0Oo Resident: hey para :))

Paradise entered in a pretty new look:

Eden Haiku: Paradise, you look beautiful!
Paradise Tennant: hiya Pema , Eden O :) gtsy :)
Paradise Tennant: thank you .. this is by a friend of mine a berlin based graphic designer named lunata lupino :)
Pema Pera: you two look like sisters, Eden and Paradise!
    Eden Haiku: :))
Paradise Tennant: smiles a big smile :)
    Pema Pera: lovely combination

It was silent for a while.  So I looked out from my RL window.

Pema Pera in a pensive mood, watching a beautiful full moon rising above Central Park right now in RL . . . .
oO0Oo Resident: lunaata could be connected with moon, and ... well there you go pema ;)
Paradise Tennant: smiles .. is very beautiful here too .. :)
Pema Pera: yes, Sam, was thinking the same thought!
Eden Haiku: Full moon over Montreal too, in dark blue sky with many stars :)
    Pema Pera: (^_^)
Eden Haiku: Just took the balloon tour, it's really nice :)
    Pema Pera: yes!!
    oO0Oo Resident nods and smiles
Pema Pera: I hadn't been back to the tea house in ages
Pema Pera: at the end of the tour I just sat down there for a while, remembering how it all began
Eden Haiku: Nice tea house, with hot green tea :)

I started to reminisce, triggered by Eden's balloon tour mention :-)

Pema Pera: many a morning it would be only Maxine and me
Pema Pera: we had many conversations, often contnuing from one morning to the next
Eden Haiku: I sat there, knowing elders had been there :)
Paradise Tennant: yes it is a great balloon ride .. :) really enjoyed it too :)
Pema Pera: I was the "guardian" three times a day, the first couple months :-)
    Eden Haiku: Incredible Pema!
Eden Haiku: You had only 3 meetings then?
Pema Pera: didn't do much else then :-)
Paradise Tennant: like a calling out that .. met with response .. in kind :)
Pema Pera: first month only three meetings, April 2008
Pema Pera: but then I went to Japan, so in May I added the 1 am SLT meeting
Eden Haiku: Already 3 years ago...
Pema Pera: and I had to sleep during the 1 pm meeting -- that's when I asked seven others to help out
Pema Pera: and called them "guardians" to guard the 1 pm SLT slot :-)
Eden Haiku: Ah, yes, so the neigbourhood cafe would be open 24 hrs on 24!
Eden Haiku: Guardians of the Void...
    Pema Pera: :-)
    Pema Pera: YES!
Pema Pera: we had a balloon flight to the void, over the water
    Pema Pera: courtesy of Storm
Eden Haiku: Do you remember the painting a freind of Genesis offered you in Berkeley?
Pema Pera: of course I do!
    --BELL--
    stevenaia Michinaga: sorry

I found a web site with a picture of the drawing on it:

    Pema Pera: http://corviid.deviantart.com/art/Guardian-of-the-Void-83660470
    Pema Pera: hi Steve!
Paradise Tennant: hiya stev gtsy :) no worries !
Eden Haiku: It made me laugh when Steve merged with Paradise rezzing in...
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, this can be a distraction
Eden Haiku: Do you still have the painting Pema? I would LOVE to see this raven guardian of the void!
Pema Pera: I just gave you the URL :-)
    Pema Pera: above
Pema Pera: can you see it?
Eden Haiku: Oh, thank you Pema!
Paradise Tennant: taking a while to rez for me ..
Eden Haiku: WOW! Is it by Corcuscova? Corviid?
oO0Oo Resident: That's amazing... ty Pema for the link
Pema Pera: no, Corvi came much later
    Pema Pera: long story . . . .
Eden Haiku: Love the way the wings extend as to protect...
Eden Haiku: A very maternal raven.
Pema Pera: Genesis commisioned it for me; the artist was also the lady serving coffee in the coffeeshop where Genesis and Stim and I first met, in April 2008
Pema Pera: so the painting was part of the inspiration for the name guardian
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, she tells the story in her interview. What a nice story!
    Eden Haiku: Lovely!
Eden Haiku: What were the other sources, do you remember?
Pema Pera: oh, the idea that guardians were standing guard at the time slots, making sure nobody would be disappointed, coming there and finding an empty house
Eden Haiku: Of all the "identifications" I wear lightly, "guardian" is my favorite :)

summing up at least two sources for the word `guardian':

Pema Pera: so the word guardian has both a prosaic/pragmatic and a poetic/inspiring source :-)
    Eden Haiku: Yes, both :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Pema Pera: glad to hear that, Eden!
Pema Pera: It was really funny, how Stim and I met Genesis
    Eden Haiku: I'm also a great-aunt since Wedenesday :) That's a fantastic one too :)
Eden Haiku: oh do tell us Pema.
Pema Pera: I was showing Stim, in Berkeley, close to his home, how PaB worked, in SL, on my laptop
Pema Pera: and Genesis sat next to us, curious.
    Pema Pera: congratulations, Eden!
Pema Pera: so that's how we all met
    Paradise Tennant: congradulations Eden :)
Pema Pera: and then a year later Genesis organized the very first RL PaB retreat -- so interesting what random encounters can lead to
    oO0Oo Resident: openings
Eden Haiku: Blushing modestly :) Never seen someone so happy as my niece a few hours after she gave birth. She was radiating pure love.
Paradise Tennant: yes met one of my best friends in an elevator another at a bus stop :)
stevenaia Michinaga: almost as serendipitous as meeting anyone in SL
Eden Haiku: A lovely story Pema, with RL and SL intersecting...
oO0Oo Resident smiles hugely at multiple events
    Pema Pera: how nice, Eden!
Paradise Tennant: smiles at Eden's pure love .. very magical those moments

oO0Oo  made a nice suggestion for the next pause.

oO0Oo Resident: could we radiate pure love at the break?
    Eden Haiku: Yeah!!!
Paradise Tennant: I am up for it !
    Pema Pera: (I'm a great-uncle, Eden :-)
Eden Haiku: And then I'M going to bed. getting up early for the second day of a workshop on the opening of the heart and sacred geometry.
Pema Pera is also all for radiating :)
    Eden Haiku: let's radiate!
oO0Oo Resident: confluence under moon radiates and informs
Eden Haiku: Yes, full moon is brestfeeding us with her nectar.
    Eden Haiku: *breastfeeding
    oO0Oo Resident faints
    Eden Haiku: ;))
stevenaia Michinaga: is it an SL workshop?
    Eden Haiku: No, RL.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Eden Haiku: From 9 to 6 on both days of week end. It's amazing. Violet light teachings,
Eden Haiku: All in french :) Its wonderful.
    --BELL--
    oO0Oo Resident: <3 ).)..)...)....).....)......).......)
Paradise Tennant: can you say more eden I have not heard of violet light teachings ...
Eden Haiku: It's the light that unites us to universal consciousness, both connecting to the earth and to the sky.
Eden Haiku: I felt a deep connection with all of you during the 90 seconds. It felt very good.
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Eden Haiku: But now I have to be reasonable and get some sleep so I can do pranayams tomorrow :))
    Pema Pera too, felt serenity
Paradise Tennant: namaste eden ..may your day be blessed :)
    Pema Pera: bye Eden!
Eden Haiku: Thank you Pema, have sweet moon dremas. ooOOOoo and Paradise as well.
Eden Haiku: Bye for now :)

Exit Eden, to attend her early morning workshop

    Pema Pera: how about Steve?
oO0Oo Resident: Take care Eden :)
    Pema Pera: sun dreams perhaps?
    stevenaia Michinaga: perks up
stevenaia Michinaga: what was the question?
Paradise Tennant: smiles at stev :) he is a good dreamer
Pema Pera: oh, Eden wished some of us sweet dreams
Pema Pera: but perhaps you didn't need it, sweet enough already
Pema Pera: or perhaps you were hidden behind the blue box?
oO0Oo Resident: doused in moon nectar
    oO0Oo Resident: ;)
stevenaia Michinaga: Been having strange fragments of dreams that I should be writing down instead of letting them dissappear into the fog of reality
Pema Pera: ah, yes, good to jot down a few words just after awaking
    Paradise Tennant: listens
Pema Pera: almost certainly you will then remember them for hours -- long enough to write them down
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, sometimes when I do, it helps so much
Pema Pera: can you tell us something about those dreams, Steve?
stevenaia Michinaga: recently , and this one was on another log, it was a dream about an event in the future
stevenaia Michinaga: a drive to the state capital I was taking with an associate
stevenaia Michinaga: the dream was she was going to drive us there in a very fast mercedes, instead of a car from the city motor pool
stevenaia Michinaga: she laughed when I told her about the dream, I drove in RL
stevenaia Michinaga: I don;t often have dreams about the future
stevenaia Michinaga: not that you ever know when your dreams are taking place relative to reality
Paradise Tennant: yes they are in another kind of time
stevenaia Michinaga: this one was on a specific date
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    Pema Pera: :-)

Steve mentioned another celebration session coming up.

stevenaia Michinaga: I was asked by Bleu to sit in on the April 1st morning session.... was looking at old logs
Pema Pera: yes, at 7:30 we plan to visit ye olde tea house
stevenaia Michinaga: they also seem dream-like now
    stevenaia Michinaga: hmm, not 7:00?
Pema Pera: amazing, isn't it, that those words we spoke then still live on
    Pema Pera: crisply
Paradise Tennant: I often watch my dog dream .. he ruff .. wufff . .an twitches .. on very scary occassions his eyelids roll up showing his inside eyelid and he looks like a devil dog :)
Pema Pera: not 7:00 since we don't want to abandon the new pavilion
    stevenaia Michinaga: awww, ok
Pema Pera: but by 7:30 we are free to do so
Pema Pera: nominally, the only "duty" is the first half hour -- though in practice we typically stay for an hour or more
Paradise Tennant: yes little captured moments ..joinings of thoughts .. birthing of ideas perspectives understanding
Pema Pera: hahaha, Paradise, how nice! -- I used to do that with my cats
    --BELL--
Paradise Tennant: shall we radiate more love liked that last time round
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
oO0Oo Resident wonders if pets have dreams of radiating love to their carers.
Paradise Tennant: picked up good book today .. reality is broken by jane mcgonigal .. speaks to virtual worlds gaming and how it balances rl
Paradise Tennant: pretty sure blue dreams of me :) though not entirely sure .. he often get up in the night to give me a nudge :)
Pema Pera: my cat often moved its paws with sharp nails -- presumably in search of prey -- tough love
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Paradise Tennant: yes indeed very tough love!
oO0Oo Resident: the book sounds intrigueing Para
Paradise Tennant: yes she says our rl misses " fiero " triumph over adversity .. adventure ..connectedness ..all things found in gaming platforms
    stevenaia Michinaga: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_McGonigal
oO0Oo Resident: Can some of these qualities be brought from virtual worlds to RL.. introduced, or reintroduced?
Paradise Tennant: we all express fiero the same it seems regardless of gender race culture it is throw you arms in the air kind of shouting dancing thing :))
    Paradise Tennant: yes
    Paradise Tennant: they intermingle
stevenaia Michinaga: watching her TED talk, that seems to be her direction
Paradise Tennant: she thinks we can discover our better selves virtually and then use that personal insight to better our world
oO0Oo Resident: ty, I will be very interested to read more about this :)
    oO0Oo Resident: agreed
    oO0Oo Resident: feels right
oO0Oo Resident: letting go of what we have, we could refresh the world with all possibility
    Pema Pera: thank you, Paradise!

Paradise points to our tendency to limit ourselves.

Paradise Tennant: interestingly the things that make you happy it seems are often seen as corny polyanna .. we reject our happiness because we mistrust that it could be so simple so easy
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
    Pema Pera: :-)
Pema Pera: or puritan background may suggest that when you feel good, it must be bad somehow . . . .
    oO0Oo Resident: ruff..wufff... twitch...
Paradise Tennant: rl life should be more game full fun .. engaging : )) it is not meant to be so serious
    Pema Pera: !!
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
oO0Oo Resident: yes, a matter of choice and view in any moment
stevenaia Michinaga: the seriousmess just limits options
    stevenaia Michinaga: *ness
Paradise Tennant: yes there should be a limitedness to it .. that is not materially based but experientially based
    Paradise Tennant: *unlimitedness
oO0Oo Resident: ty Pema... to let feeling good be OK, that it could simply feel good
Pema Pera thinking seriously about going to bed now
    Pema Pera: thank you, Sam!
    Pema Pera: :-)
    stevenaia Michinaga: not too seriously
Pema Pera: and thank you, all!
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Paradise Tennant: smiles hope you dream wonderful dreams pema :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: night pema
    Pema Pera: bfn
    Pema Pera: sweet dreams

I left, while the session continued for quite a while after the first hour.

    --BELL--
    stevenaia Michinaga: brb, laundry rotation
oO0Oo Resident: I was wondering if all the people listed on the Kira website as 'Founding Members', 'Board Members', and 'Virtual Kira Team', have been invited inworld for the anniversary events?
    oO0Oo Resident: http://is.gd/wdI1Bc http://is.gd/wIk0Oq http://is.gd/K7QJOp
Paradise Tennant: not sure ..:) I would imagine they would hear of it throught the digest emails no

    Foxtree Gorbunov: hi Stevenaia
oO0Oo Resident: can i share a quote that we had at the beginning of the session?
    stevenaia Michinaga: please
oO0Oo Resident: Unpack karma and you get cause and effect.
Paradise Tennant: would love the tshirt!
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
oO0Oo Resident: I think you inspired the quote para
    oO0Oo Resident: ;)
Foxtree Gorbunov: So, the goddess is inside the last Russen dall?
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
Paradise Tennant: we do contain .. it all .. each one the last russian doll

Foxtree Gorbunov: that was a fast 90 seconds
    Paradise Tennant: nods yes
Foxtree Gorbunov: I got to say this is feel like a bad first date.
stevenaia Michinaga: then it can only get better
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Foxtree Gorbunov: I am having a hard time going deep into my self.
Foxtree Gorbunov: must be the full moon
Paradise Tennant: smiles .. being still is what I try most for
stevenaia Michinaga: one thing to be sure of, it's not going anywhere so you can take your time
    Paradise Tennant: simply being still
    Paradise Tennant: lol
oO0Oo Resident thinks how divine a first date could potentially be, sitting simply... and being together.
stevenaia Michinaga: sometimes it's better to wait then to go looking
    oO0Oo Resident: and of course
oO0Oo Resident: allowing for what comes up
    oO0Oo Resident: to come up
Foxtree Gorbunov: I still like date number three, when it's alright to start kiss.ing
    Foxtree Gorbunov: I like kissing
oO0Oo Resident blows foxtree a kiss
Foxtree Gorbunov: I am sorry but that "Allowing for what comes up".....that got me thinking of some
Foxtree Gorbunov: how do I put this?
    Paradise Tennant: :)
Foxtree Gorbunov: Thing that happen to men only
Foxtree Gorbunov: but that back to me, the full moon, and not thinking deep.
    Foxtree Gorbunov: and kissing
    stevenaia Michinaga: ..listens
oO0Oo Resident: the moon shifts the tides of the oceans, and the blood, the ocean in our bodies... natural and OK to feel good
    --BELL--
oO0Oo Resident waves and radiates in appreciation :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles, bye Sam
Foxtree Gorbunov: mmm. Shifting blood tides is what I am trying not to think about so much.
Paradise Tennant: looks up and waves good bye to the departing sam :)
Foxtree Gorbunov: well good luck oOOOo
    Foxtree Gorbunov: sam
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes, sweet sam
Paradise Tennant: always think .. our brains should come with manuals .. and a front page in big print that says you become your thoughts :)
Paradise Tennant: we do become on many levels what we focus most on :)
Foxtree Gorbunov: The grate lost manual....some day I hope we find it
stevenaia Michinaga: a nice way to be lead
Foxtree Gorbunov: I was reading in "S.A. Mind" that we are our stuff
Paradise Tennant: smiles that too .. :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: stardust
Foxtree Gorbunov: more like we are our own junk
stevenaia Michinaga: one person's junk is anothers treasure
Foxtree Gorbunov: Carlen: "other peoples stuff is junk, and your junk is stuff."
Paradise Tennant: he was so funny and true :)
Paradise Tennant: smiles well I am going to say good nite .. i cannot keep my eyes open ..dream well :)
    Foxtree Gorbunov: good night
stevenaia Michinaga: night PAradise, thanks for the company
Foxtree Gorbunov: I do not think Carlen would like it, but some time I like to think; What he thought when he saw God.

    Foxtree Gorbunov: george Carlen.
stevenaia Michinaga: didn;t know he saw god
    Foxtree Gorbunov: he die.
    stevenaia Michinaga: awww
stevenaia Michinaga: that will do it
Foxtree Gorbunov: So, he know better that us if "God" is real or not
stevenaia Michinaga: he does now, yes
    Foxtree Gorbunov: so.
Foxtree Gorbunov: G spotter? What is that?
stevenaia Michinaga: strangely enough it;s an archecture group a frinf of mine from RL creates
    stevenaia Michinaga: stange tag
    stevenaia Michinaga: strange
stevenaia Michinaga: pardon the bad typing
Foxtree Gorbunov: That okay, my spelling is very bad

Foxtree Gorbunov: like a fool I wish I had a girlfriend
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
Foxtree Gorbunov: maybe even a wife
stevenaia Michinaga: not sure wishing will get you there
Foxtree Gorbunov: true, but; I hate all the place I can think of to meet women
    Foxtree Gorbunov: bars
    Foxtree Gorbunov: clubs
Foxtree Gorbunov: Church women are suck up
    Foxtree Gorbunov: sutck up
    Foxtree Gorbunov: stuck up
stevenaia Michinaga: friendship is something that finds you, not something you look for
stevenaia Michinaga: jsut speaking from esperience
    Foxtree Gorbunov: frinedship is easy
Foxtree Gorbunov: I have lots of frineds
