The Guardian for this meeting was Eden Haiku. The comments are by Eden Haiku. There was quite a crowd at this Monday morning session, maybe due to the time change in Europe last week end.

    Eden Haiku: Good morning Arch!

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: How have you been?
Archmage Atlantis: Good Morning to you also, Eden :)
Archmage Atlantis: This has been a good week. And yourself?
Eden Haiku: Very good also, thank you.
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
Archmage Atlantis: Hello Xirana, Howdy Yaku :)
Eden Haiku: Hello Xirana, hello Yaku!
Xirana Oximoxi: hello Eden, Arch :) and Yaku :)
Eden Haiku: Would any of you like to discuss a particular topic this morning?
Xirana Oximoxi: I don't have anything special in mind..:)
    Eden Haiku: :)
Archmage Atlantis: I have 2 actually
Xirana Oximoxi: I've just read the email .. and a lot of new things, also in the Cronicles
    Eden Haiku: listening
    Xirana Oximoxi: oh! nice... Arch...
    Adams Rubble: Hello everyone :)

    Puppies and voice in SL

Archmage Atlantis: One is the story I heard recently of an 80 yo man being disallowed adopting 2 puppies because of his age......I would have thought some love would be better than a cage
Archmage Atlantis: the second is voice in SL
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello adams
    Xirana Oximoxi: hello Adams:)
Archmage Atlantis: Which still eludes me
    Archmage Atlantis: Hi, Adams
Xirana Oximoxi: of course.. I agree completely with you about the puppies!!!
Xirana Oximoxi: what a stupid thing to have done!!!
Archmage Atlantis: I suppose both are on my mind as I am watching PaB grow and change
Xirana Oximoxi: and what about voice in sl?
Archmage Atlantis: And attempt to understand life, the universe and everything
Eden Haiku: sorry was afk...back now
    Xirana Oximoxi: wb Eden!
    Adams Rubble: wb Eden
Xirana Oximoxi: Arch has proposed two subjects
Archmage Atlantis: Just that I can sometimes use it and sometimes not, sometimes hear but not talk
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey sun!
    Adams Rubble: Hello Sunshine :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Sun!
Sunshine Vayandar: hi Yaku ;) Arch, Xir, Adams
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm can't see anything yet
Eden Haiku: Hello Adams, hello Sun. Just reading back about the puppies Arch.
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Eden ;))
Yakuzza Lethecus: well especially that case of elderly discrimination would concern me a little, out of my own experience animals have a positive effect on elderly ppl but it's of course different from case to case
Xirana Oximoxi: in my case... when I get used to voice, like in German chat, then if sometimes it doesn't work it's missing a lot
Eden Haiku: I completely agree with you: puppies can be healers in old age and old people are good caretakers, that's a silly thing to do to forbid that.
    Sunshine Vayandar: brb
Archmage Atlantis: Agree, Xirana......supposedly 40% or so of human communication is carried by tone, inflection and other voice elements
Archmage Atlantis: Only 8% is carried by words
Xirana Oximoxi: to have puppies brings a lot of good things to the person that takes care of them...
    Archmage Atlantis: Supposedly
    Xirana Oximoxi: all good things
Eden Haiku: Yes, Arch, about voice. Only about 8% for words (heard 7% but hey...)
Xirana Oximoxi: I don't know what to do hehehe... we are making a mix of the two subjects..and maybe better first one and the the other:))
Eden Haiku: But what do you mean it eludes you Arch. Is it a technical problem?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: morning bleu!
    Adams Rubble: Hello Bleu :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: hello Bleu:)
    Eden Haiku: Hello Bleu bird!
Archmage Atlantis: I believe it is tech, yes.......which opens another subject on those who either do not have access to tech.....or it isn't of interest to them
    Archmage Atlantis: Morning Bleu
Eden Haiku: We are discussing two subjects: voice in SL and forbidding older people to adopt puppies.
Bleu Oleander: quite a range of topics
Eden Haiku: Do you mean you would like to be able to use voice in SL arch?
Xirana Oximoxi: also, sometimes, if the subject is more 'difficult' I prefer to read... but it's because my English is not enough good
Archmage Atlantis: Actually, all are sort of under one umbrella, communicating with others, human and non-human

    A little crowd.jpg

Clockwise from Arch: Bruce, Alfred, Zen, Riddle, Bleu, Sunshine, Ewan, Xirana, Yakuzza, Storm amd Eden. Adams had left and Lugh had not arrived yet.

Storm shows up, very elegant in a dark blue suit  and sunglasses [his PaB airways magic carpet pilot suit as we learnt later]

    Bleu Oleander: hi Storm :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: morning storm
    Storm Nordwind: Good morning :)
    Archmage Atlantis: Morning Storm
Eden Haiku: Good morning Storm! How nice to see you :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: Hello Storm:)
Bleu Oleander: looking quite dapper this morning Storm
    Yakuzza Lethecus: storm pilot
    Storm Nordwind smiles
    Xirana Oximoxi: :))
    Eden Haiku: Dapper, yes :))
    Adams Rubble: Hello Storm :)
Storm Nordwind is ready to pilot the party magic carpet to give rides for everyone around the sim :)
    Bleu Oleander: oh wonderful Storm!
    Xirana Oximoxi: yesss.. nice!!! :)
Eden Haiku: Are you flying your flying carpet Storm?
    Eden Haiku: Yeah!!
Storm Nordwind: Yes. It's not an automatic one. Needs the skilful pilot touch ;)
    Adams Rubble: :)

The Dome and the artwork exhibit

Bleu Oleander: has everyone visited the Dome and seen Storm's lovely artwork?
Archmage Atlantis: No, not yet Bleu
    Adams Rubble: not yet
    Archmage Atlantis: I will
Xirana Oximoxi: I will soon also :)
Eden Haiku: No, was there briefly and didn't have time to visit the whole exhibit. Saw Dakini's and Bruce's artwork.
Storm Nordwind: There are many wonderful exhibits appearing now. Mine just takes a small damp corner! ;)
Bleu Oleander: many pieces accumulating in the dome
    Eden Haiku: That is wonderful!
Sunshine Vayandar: so sorry - back ;)
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Bleu
    Xirana Oximoxi: wb Sun :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ty
Archmage Atlantis: I'm afraid I need a "paint by numbers" kit to contribute *g*
Eden Haiku: Topic moved from puppies and voice to upcoming magic carpet tours and artwork in the Dome Sun :)
    Bleu Oleander: prim by numbers
    Eden Haiku: ;)
Archmage Atlantis: So I'll have to enjoy the works of others
Sunshine Vayandar: ty Eden ;) very interesting ;))
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey riddle
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Storm ;)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi All
    Archmage Atlantis: Right, Prim
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Riddle
    Bleu Oleander: hi Riddle
    Archmage Atlantis: Hi, Riddle

    Topics shifting

Eden Haiku: We are on permanent magic carpet tours as for topics in here :)
    Adams Rubble: Hello Riddle :)
    Eden Haiku: Riddle, hi!
Xirana Oximoxi: about voice, I also have a question... does it happen to you, that sometimes typing you can say things that probably you don't say so easy with voice?
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Riddle:)
Bleu Oleander: actually the other way around for me Xirana
Riddle Sideways: ummm nice suit Storm
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
Eden Haiku: Yes, Xirana, it's quite a different experience in voice.
Xirana Oximoxi: maybe it's because typing I have a little more time to think
Sunshine Vayandar: Xirana - I did see that happen also ... people were very uncomfortable in voice ... and preferred typing
    Adams Rubble: Hello Bruce :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Bruce ;)
    Xirana Oximoxi: hello Bruce:)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Bruce
    Eden Haiku: Hi Bruce :)
    Archmage Atlantis: Hiya Bruce
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi bruce
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, everyone!
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)) thanks!!!
    Storm Nordwind: yay Bruce!
Archmage Atlantis: The first 2 thirds of this life, both were difficult, voice and typing........Now I tend to babble
    Sunshine Vayandar: ty Bruce ;)
Riddle Sideways: first language = babble
    Archmage Atlantis: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I've looked it up in the dictionary :))
Adams Rubble: I must go. bye everyone :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: byebyee Adams ;)
    Xirana Oximoxi: bye Adams:)
    Riddle Sideways: bye
Eden Haiku: Have any of you heard about the crystal children?
    Archmage Atlantis: Bi, Adams.....elo Ewan
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Ewan
    Eden Haiku: Bye Adams.
    Eden Haiku: hello Ewan
Yakuzza Lethecus: bye edams hello ewan
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Ewan ;)
    Bleu Oleander: bye Adams
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Folks!
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Ewan:)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Ewan
Riddle Sideways: ummmm, is the topic today ello and goobye
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Ewan.
Xirana Oximoxi: I haven't heard about it Eden:)
Eden Haiku: Children born after year 2000, many of them are telepathic. They are considered autistic but they are just different.
    Bleu Oleander: :) Riddle
Archmage Atlantis: I have not Eden
Xirana Oximoxi: yes... today there's a lot of movement:)
Xirana Oximoxi: oh! and they are born after 2000 ? for a special reason?
Eden Haiku: Heard that recently. A newborn in the family: my niece's daughter. Premature. Haven't seen here yet (she's still in hospital care unit). But I can FEEL her. Amazing.
Archmage Atlantis: Ah, that sounds like something I heard a couple of decades ago...I think at that time the term was "lavender children"
Eden Haiku: There were indigo children after 1978 I think.
    Archmage Atlantis: Indigo, yes
Eden Haiku: Suspects Yaku is an indigo child :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Zen
    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Zen.
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Zen :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Zen :)
Eden Haiku: hello Zen. Fresh from your SL retreat?
    Zen Arado: Hi All :)
    Zen Arado: yep
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Zen ;)
Bleu Oleander: how was the retreat?
    Archmage Atlantis: Greetings Zen

    --BELL--

Zen Arado: retreat was good ty
Eden Haiku: A video link about the new children: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMhdm6EpLZ4
Zen Arado: 4 sessions pr day quite tough
    Sunshine Vayandar: ty Eden ;)
Eden Haiku: Any highlights you would like to share Zen?

Storm suggests a treasure hunt for the PaB party!

Storm Nordwind: Not wanting to interrupt, but before people start disappearing, can I ask all of your opinions on an extra little activity for the party?
    Eden Haiku: Sure, do Storm.
Xirana Oximoxi: of course Storm! please:)
Storm Nordwind: I wonder if people would like a treasure hunt. Let me describe it.
    Bleu Oleander: sure
Storm Nordwind: It could be started by people at any time. It wouldn't be a race.
Storm Nordwind: You'd start from the party site.
    Eden Haiku: sounds fun
Storm Nordwind: There would be clues that would help you find the next object in the sim somewhere.
    Alfred Kelberry: meep!
Storm Nordwind: When you found the object, you'd get the next clue for finding the object after that... and so on.
    Bleu Oleander: fun Storm!
Sunshine Vayandar: yes sounds fun ;))
Storm Nordwind: There'd be 9 clue and 9 objects around the sim in total.
    Sunshine Vayandar: meep!
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Meep
Alfred Kelberry: oh, full house! :)
Xirana Oximoxi: yes! it sounds fun! Hi boxy:)
Storm Nordwind: Each time you found an object you'd also get a letter (as well as the next clue).
Eden Haiku: meep meep, Storm is telling us about a treasure hunt for the party Boxy.
    Alfred Kelberry: hi :)
    Zen Arado: sounds fun yes
Storm Nordwind: When you finished and had nine letters, you'd rearrange them to get the name of the last extra object.
    Zen Arado: Hi boxy :)
Storm Nordwind: Then you'd find that extra object and pick up your prize from there.
Alfred Kelberry: *sniffs* treasure hunt? :)
Storm Nordwind: Before I make it (as it would be a bit of work and in some cases I'd have to contact people to get permission to use their plots) is it worth it - would people like it?
    Eden Haiku: **********Applause!!**********
    Eden Haiku: **********Applause!!**********
Riddle Sideways: can we fit it into the busy schedule
    Bleu Oleander: sounds great
    Bruce Mowbray: [`·.] APPLAUSE!! [.·´]
    Bleu Oleander: ⊱✿•*☆¨*•.☾APPLAUSE ⋆*•:*.•*¨*♥ APPLAUSE ♥•*¨☆*•✿⊰
Xirana Oximoxi: ahhhh good...it's like an adventure!!! :)
Ewan Bonham: That would draw a lot of folks!
Eden Haiku: You have permission to use my plot if you need to Storm.
    Storm Nordwind smiles
    Bleu Oleander: yes, mine also
Xirana Oximoxi: will have to live 3 days in SL :)))
Ewan Bonham: Is it possible folks could also find an item of interest for their inventories?
Riddle Sideways: yes, why a god-like person like you would not permission?
Eden Haiku: Will it take place on all three days. I will be out of town on the 2nd but I would like to do the treasure hunt too!
Ewan Bonham: Yes, of course be my guest..:)
Storm Nordwind: The secondary idea is to really get people more familiar with what's already there
Alfred Kelberry: wow, stormy - a suit? :)
Alfred Kelberry: whole new look :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: yes.. very smart:)
Storm Nordwind: Captain of the magic carpet Boxy :)
    Alfred Kelberry: aha :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, that sounds like a very practical idea too Storm, to become more familiar with our village.
Sunshine Vayandar: hehe Storm very elegant ;)
    Storm Nordwind: So all positive?
    Bleu Oleander: YES
    Sunshine Vayandar: it's a yes ;)
Xirana Oximoxi: yes.. a way to discover the sim playing
Alfred Kelberry: i love the treasure hunt idea
Riddle Sideways: ah, so we need to spot 9 things that are different
    Eden Haiku: Yes!
Storm Nordwind: That match the clues
Riddle Sideways: would be harder without clues :)
Storm Nordwind: When you find the right object it will be touchable and give you a notecard with the next clue
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
Alfred Kelberry: where do we start? :)
Eden Haiku: When do we start?
Xirana Oximoxi: hope not too difficult to find:)))
    Alfred Kelberry: haha
Storm Nordwind: From the party site
Riddle Sideways: at the first clue
    Eden Haiku: Enthusiastic pabbers!
Storm Nordwind: Nah - bright people like you will find it very easy :)
Sunshine Vayandar: yes they can't wait ;)
    Storm Nordwind chuckles

Boxy is so happy about the treasure hunt, he's doing back flips, sporting his PaB logo tiara and then we see... the INNER ELEPHANT

Eden Haiku: Love your aura Boxy!
    Eden Haiku: Or your tiara?
Riddle Sideways: love your back flip boxy
Alfred Kelberry: um... pab logo :)
Bruce Mowbray: Blub also loves Boxy's aura.
    Alfred Kelberry: cute elephant :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;) lol
Storm Nordwind: Boxy has maybe come to bless us?
Alfred Kelberry: ha! yes, bruce. i've noticed him making circles :)
    Alfred Kelberry: stormy, that's job's work :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I recommend a book of Philippe Claudel "Le monde sans enfants"... short stories, so interesting seeing the world like through the eyes of a child (the world without children)
    Eden Haiku: An elephant?
Alfred Kelberry: eden, yes, riddle is a cute elephant
Xirana Oximoxi: I say that, because SL seems to me a way to play again :))
    Ewan Bonham: Interesting Xir
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes true Xir
Eden Haiku: He looks like plain Riddle to me, aikido Riddle..
Xirana Oximoxi: and I think it's important not to forget to play
Alfred Kelberry: um... i don't know... i see a cute elephant
Riddle Sideways has an inner elephant av
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Alfred Kelberry: unusually crowdy today
Eden Haiku: That IS very strange Alfred. Who are you really this morning Riddle? Others see an elephant? Or is just the memory of an elephant?
Archmage Atlantis: Perhaps the viewer influences what one sees?
Bleu Oleander: I don't see the elephant either
    Riddle Sideways: with clever use of time, we can start the treasure hunt before Storm builds it :}
Bruce Mowbray: I see Riddle in his usual white shirt
Alfred Kelberry: eden, the latter :)
Bleu Oleander: just plain Riddle to me
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
Bruce Mowbray looks hard for inner elephant, though.
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Alfred Kelberry: bruce, i think the trick is to not look "hard" :)
    Bruce Mowbray: oh...!
Storm Nordwind thinks that in RL he has an inner elephant. That would explain his size. :/-
Bruce Mowbray looks soft -- for Riddle's inner elephant.
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Eden Haiku: Yes Riddle, it seems the treasure hunt already started and your inner elephant seems to be the first clue :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol Storm ;)
    Alfred Kelberry: eden :)
    Alfred Kelberry: i like it
Riddle Sideways: please not talk of my size... am dieting
Archmage Atlantis: Ganesha - Elephant Deity

Which prompted me to chant on voice one of my favorite mantras: "Shri Ganesha, Shri Ganesha, Shri Ganesha Pahima\ Jai Ganesha, Jai Ganesha, Jai Ganesha Rachama" [you can hear it if you click on the mp3 link at the bottom of the page]

    Alfred Kelberry: wee!
    Alfred Kelberry: eden :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: *:• •:*.-:¦:- -:¦:-.•:*¨¨*:• YAYYY *:• •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- -:¦:-.¨¨*:•
    Alfred Kelberry: wow
    Storm Nordwind: Thank you Eden!
    Eden Haiku: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Riddle Sideways: thank you

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: Honouring the inner elephant :)
Alfred Kelberry: um... was it an indian song?
Bruce Mowbray: btw -- and don't mean to interrupt this chat about elephants . . . but if anyone sees changes/additions to be made to the party schedule, please let me or Aph know -- Thanks.
    Ewan Bonham: :))
Alfred Kelberry: *pats cute elephant* :)
Alfred Kelberry: see! i told you! :)
Eden Haiku: Yes Alfred. What I sang were mantras to Ganesha, Lord of Obstacles in hindu mythology.
Riddle Sideways: singing brings it out

    RiddleBoxy032811.jpg

Bleu took this cute picture of Boxy trying to pat Riddle's inner elephant

Riddle had transformed into his inner elephant which prompted Sun to play ""Twinkle twinkle little star".

Xirana Oximoxi: ooohhh so cute elephant.. nice!
Xirana Oximoxi: I'm sad... I didn't have the voice on!! :((
Eden Haiku: But you once said this elephant is not Ganesh right Riddle?
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: ahhh now!
    Alfred Kelberry: yay! :)
Riddle Sideways: yes is not ganesh
Alfred Kelberry: the music workshop has taken over :)
    Eden Haiku: Lovely Sun :)
Archmage Atlantis: Um, not sure a practicing Hindu would use the word "mythology"
    Riddle Sideways: ty Sun
Zen Arado: ha nice Sun !
    Yakuzza Lethecus: ***** APPPPPPPLLLLAAAUUUSSSSeeee***********
    Xirana Oximoxi: thanks Sun!!!
Sunshine Vayandar: this was the mantra called twinkle twinkle
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Eden Haiku: little star...
    Alfred Kelberry: neat
Riddle Sideways: I know that mantra
Sunshine Vayandar: when I saw the eli I thought of that song ;)
    Alfred Kelberry: eli?
    Sunshine Vayandar: elephant
    Alfred Kelberry: ah :)
Eden Haiku: Yes Arch, Hindus say Ganesha is a God but they have thousands of them. :)
Sunshine Vayandar: but very cute one
Eden Haiku: Back to party schedule..
Riddle Sideways: hundreds of the thousands are cute !
    Archmage Atlantis: True, Eden.......
Alfred Kelberry: ok, next is zen and his charming hum :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Eden Haiku: Reading the board...
    Archmage Atlantis: :)
Eden Haiku: Oh yes, Zen, would you hum Norwegian wood for us please?
Archmage Atlantis: Party, were we discussing a party?? (attempt at humor)
Ewan Bonham: The he God that reduces all barriers
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    Alfred Kelberry: eden :)
Alfred Kelberry: that's a nice song
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;o) Eden
Riddle Sideways: perhaps a treasure hunt to find ... Being
    Zen Arado: for practice Eden?
    Riddle Sideways: or lost innocence
Eden Haiku: So many things on Saturday that I will have to miss :(
Riddle Sideways: or the lost marbles
    Zen Arado: feels shy

Storm, Master of the Carpet appeared, piloting the magic carpet in his shiny blue armor. Boxy, Lugh and I hopped in and Storm took us on a wonderful ride (with star dust sparkling around in golden specks) over the Molecule and over the Museum and  the Dome, then to the party site where he landed the magic craft with great skill.

He then demonstrated and showed us how to use the surfboard swing he put up there for the party: I was unsuccessful at it first but Alfred was a natural. I then managed to swing the surfboard with my keyboard and was flying all over the place with great gusto for a while. Lugh was making back flips in his Shiva outfit and we lost him at some point. Then Storm had to leave to make preparations for the Treasure Hunt and Boxy and I went back to our RL duties. The adventure gave us a taste of the three days of partying ahead, celebrating PaB third anniversary!

Eden, your sung mantras are beautiful! Everyone should take time to listen! Thank you for sharing those.
Also, couldn't resist adding a photo from this morning of Riddle and Boxy, hope you don't mind.
