Riddle Sideways was GoC and is adding the comments.
Welcome to the beginning of the new reign of a new US president. What he does (and gets us to do) will affect the world and our attitude towards it.
There is so much that Riddle would like to comment here. There is so much HOPE for the days to come.
It has been so many years of being unhopeful in the political arena. The constant knowing that THEY would mess up everything again. My relationships with government have (almost) never been happy. My commentary is very close to telling you all far too much about what I did in the 60's. Alas, RL time constraints and good judgement will make me refrain from letting loose upon you.
Susi was already sitting there quietly when I arrived.
Susi Alcott: _/!\_an aside note: The usual phrase is "being in charge". Which is usually implied as a person doing the controling of events. In this group, I would investigate "BEING in charge" which puts us into the proper frame of who is really in control at all times. I am sure that this has been discussed here, but I need to go search for references.
Riddle Sideways: good morning
Susi Alcott: good mornig
Susi Alcott: morning
Riddle Sideways: sorry am late
Susi Alcott: np
Riddle Sideways: had to get daugther out the door
Riddle Sideways: what did I miss :)

Susi Alcott: I've been alone here
Riddle Sideways: sometimes good, sometimes bad
Susi Alcott: maybe I got some 'dry practising' to be the one who's in charge
Riddle Sideways: in charge is a little light here

Riddle Sideways: oooooo I is sooooo happy to be getting a new president in my country
Susi Alcott: I gladly share the happyness for USA
Susi Alcott: hope is very strong source to have power for changes

Susi Alcott: hoping you dont mind me saying so, but my mind goes up to Kennedy
Riddle Sideways: my son got really really into this election
Riddle Sideways: and I did not want to have him let down as I have been many times
Riddle Sideways: when I was in 7th grade
Riddle Sideways: and just learning about the world and governments
Riddle Sideways: and just awakening (sort of)
Riddle Sideways: they shot my president
Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Riddle Sideways: I do not like that part of the comparisions to Kenedy
Susi Alcott: that was sorrow over the world, at least how I saw it
Susi Alcott: hm you said 'my president'...did you mean Kennedy ?
Riddle Sideways: yes
Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Riddle Sideways: was the first president that I knew of
Susi Alcott: even I'm not lived in US; he was also 'my' president
Riddle Sideways: JFK was young, carismatic, different

Riddle Sideways: a tall fashionable wife
Riddle Sideways: so much like Barach
Susi Alcott: do you know about reincarnation ?
Riddle Sideways: think that is very possibly what has happened here

Riddle Sideways: then sending her to take her finals
Riddle Sideways: I can't take her spanish final for her
Riddle Sideways: but I can send her with the best energy

Adams Dubrovna: haha
Adams Dubrovna: I'll have to get a stove-pipe hat
Riddle Sideways: hmmmm yes Adams does not look like pres Adams
Susi Alcott: that sure may be also my mind's creation in a way, for certain reasons
Susi Alcott: but you Riddle ---being kind of outsider---can conferm me , what comes to Adams' looks :)
Adams Dubrovna: The Lincoln references haven't been subtle the last few days
Susi Alcott: but the reasons nobody can turn me dow of
Riddle Sideways: yes, Adams looks the young Lincoln today.

Riddle Sideways: sorry... got no respect for Chenney
Riddle Sideways: wheel chair does not get sympathy

Riddle Sideways: W. was just a face, Chenney was the pusher
Adams Dubrovna: Bush is leaving the White House for the last time right now
Adams Dubrovna: Hey Moon :)That image had not really presented itself before. I am hoping the moving people remove all the cigar ashtrays. Those are symbols of fat cats, good ol' boys, the oil barons who sit around smoking cigars deciding the fate of US little peeps.
Susi Alcott: Hi Moon
Adams Dubrovna: 70 more minutes
Riddle Sideways: Hi Moon
Moon Fargis: hello ^^/
