Korel Laloix: How are things with you today?
Storm Nordwind: Things are very good thank you, barring not getting any sleep - but that will pass. And you?
Korel Laloix: Just between classes.
Korel Laloix: I actualy got a great night's sleep last night which very rarely ever happens.
Storm Nordwind: How much longer do you have between classes?
Korel Laloix: TIll 7:30
Storm Nordwind guesses that's another half-hour
Korel Laloix: I just pop in here between if I can.
Korel Laloix: Yes.
Korel Laloix: NOt a lot of people at this session usually.
Storm Nordwind: That's right.
Storm Nordwind: People are at work or getting ready to work or getting ready to sleep.

The anniversary party.

Storm Nordwind: Will you be able to come to the anniversary party events at all?
Korel Laloix: Have not found out when they are... been lazy about that.. sorry.
Korel Laloix: When?
Storm Nordwind chuckles
Storm Nordwind: April 1st is the anniversary proper, but it will run from 1st to 3rd
Storm Nordwind: It's all still in preparation
Storm Nordwind: I have created an anniversary balloon tour
Storm Nordwind: It visits the three places we have held these sessions over the last three years
Korel Laloix: The ones over there I take it.
Korel Laloix: OH OK... only been comming here a few months.
Storm Nordwind: It's not the one next to the flaming beacon
Korel Laloix: But been in SL since 2005.
Storm Nordwind will have to change that one to avoid confusion :)

I added a new ride to the beacon balloon immediately after this session, so that it now offers the choice of going around the village, as before, or simply hopping over to the party site. The new party balloon is unaffected and still visits the places we've held these sessions over the last three years.

Korel Laloix: OK
Korel Laloix: So you are leading all this?
Storm Nordwind: Oh nooooo!

Korel Laloix: Nice retreat there... smiles
Storm Nordwind: I'm far too lazy to do more
Korel Laloix: NEver been accused of being lazy.... smiles... but I do don't try to do things that other's are already doing well.
Storm Nordwind: Wise indeed
Korel Laloix: My English is garbage today.
Storm Nordwind: And I preempt any accusations by claiming it for myself!
Korel Laloix: Smart.
Korel Laloix: There are some that realy enjoy running things like that.
Korel Laloix: I am not one of them.
Korel Laloix: I like being bossy, but not actually in charge.... grins
Storm Nordwind: Understood! ;)
Storm Nordwind: When you're older like me, it's good to let the young whippersnappers take the reins. They'll snatch them anyway!

Korel Laloix: I have too much to do RL to take on projects in SL.

Bleu Oleander: It's from an Egyptian painting of Nut, the Sky Goddess
Korel Laloix: I have made some things in clothes before... but not my specialty at all.
Korel Laloix: OK.

Bleu Oleander: I like to take paintings and turn them into avatars

Bleu Oleander: was so fun Storm to see the original PaB
Storm Nordwind: I'm pleased to see Bleu, that that area has escaped the ravages of change so far.
Korel Laloix: Ravages of change?...... no doubt the fault of young whippersnappers like me... grins

Bleu Oleander: should be declared a "historical neighborhood"
Korel Laloix: Very few sims I went to five years ago are still around.
Storm Nordwind: Only a few places have last that long, true Korel
Bleu Oleander: perhaps a special session with some of the original PaBers could be fun in connection with the anniversary weekend?
Storm Nordwind: The Ivory Tower is still going thankfully
Storm Nordwind: Now that's a good idea Bleu
Korel Laloix: Some of the origional scenery sims are dissapearing though.
Storm Nordwind: You could suggest that to Aphrodite, Bleu
Bleu Oleander: I for one would enjoy hearing the story
Bleu Oleander: I will do that!

Storm Nordwind: I still recommended newbie builders to go there Bleu
Bleu Oleander: even experienced ones can still learn

Bleu Oleander: I often take a newbie there and walk them through
Storm Nordwind: We're fortunate to have this spot Korel
Storm Nordwind: No one builds to the south

Swapping a script for a party balloon.

Storm Nordwind: Could you let me have one of these balloons Bleu. I'd like to put one of my dancing vine scripts in to simulate small gusts

Storm Nordwind: Seems to be good. I'll work on it later
Bleu Oleander: btw, I hope my balloons are not too intrusive on the pavilion atmosphere
Storm Nordwind: I think they're good for the build up. Worth making an exception for ;)

Storm Nordwind: Yes
Storm Nordwind: It's very simple
Storm Nordwind: You can easily modify it for different materials (like curtains)
Storm Nordwind: Would you like a copy?
Bleu Oleander: yes, sure
Bleu Oleander: I've attempted some scripting, but it still seems difficult to me, not being techy by nature
