Lucinda Lavender: yes! It was quite beautiful! and simple
    Eliza Madrigal: wonderful, congratulations

    Eliza Madrigal: np :)

Eliza Madrigal: How is life treating you Riddle?
    Riddle Sideways: treatingly :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hah

Riddle Sideways: so when was wedding and where?
Lucinda Lavender: it was in grooms parents back yard last saturday
    Riddle Sideways: nice
Lucinda Lavender: and reception for aunts and uncles was sunday at a park looking over the Puget Sound
    Eliza Madrigal: ooooo
Lucinda Lavender: really beautiful day too
    Eliza Madrigal: fortunate beginnings
    Lucinda Lavender: yes

Lucinda Lavender: I better go dear ones
Lucinda Lavender: more to do than usual
Eliza Madrigal: okay Luci, have a beautiful day
Riddle Sideways: it was Carkeek Park
Lucinda Lavender: thank you...and you too...I will be here for the 7 pm
    Riddle Sideways: bye Luci
    Lucinda Lavender: wow cool Riddle
Lucinda Lavender: just down the beach from where our reception was!

Eliza Madrigal must spend more time on the west coast
Lucinda Lavender: you are welcome to visit any time:)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Riddle Sideways: yes, you should
    Riddle Sideways: come visit
    Lucinda Lavender: :))
    Eliza Madrigal dreams
    Eliza Madrigal: :))

Eliza Madrigal: all well with your children (not so little) too Riddle?
Riddle Sideways: was telling in private chat about son marriage in Seattle weekend before last
Eliza Madrigal: ooh wow, congratulations to you also!
Riddle Sideways: then big receiption down here in Cal
Eliza Madrigal: that's quite a drive between wedding and reception :)
    Eliza Madrigal: family scattered about?
    Riddle Sideways: a week between
    Eliza Madrigal: sounds lovely

Riddle Sideways: married in Seattle. one reception in Portland the next day and another the next weekend here
Riddle Sideways: is probably good for kids to not live so close to parents
Eliza Madrigal: seems to be not too uncommon now, for people to have a few events
    Eliza Madrigal: think so?
Riddle Sideways: was trying that sentence
Eliza Madrigal: mine seem to have super glue on their tentacles..no hurry to go anywhere
    Riddle Sideways: that will come

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: music at the receptions? did you play?
Riddle Sideways: reception was on the beach and small circles were playing music
Riddle Sideways: the host had to run around crazy meet-n-greet each person
    Eliza Madrigal: :) of course
Riddle Sideways: and just long to be playing the music
    Eliza Madrigal: aw
Eliza Madrigal: sounds like a dream though

Riddle Sideways: our sound guy brought a battery and powered speakers so everybody could hear shy speakers repeat their vows
Eliza Madrigal: sweet... did they write their own?
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: and in Seattle read a great poem
Riddle Sideways: (do not have title right now)
Eliza Madrigal: maybe later, if you find it... what was the sense of it?
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, seems life together is a really good thing (or something like that :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Riddle Sideways: was good enough to have everybody crying
Eliza Madrigal: soft hearts giving up their blessings

Riddle Sideways: they did a very nice thing called a Ring Warming
    Eliza Madrigal listens

Riddle Sideways: 2 ribbons were sent around the circle
Riddle Sideways: each ring was sent down the ribbon
Riddle Sideways: each person held the ring a moment and put thoughts, wishes, energy, etc. into it and passed it on

Eliza Madrigal: wow that is a beautiful idea
Riddle Sideways: yes, and had never seen-heard of it before
    Eliza Madrigal: nor I

Eliza Madrigal: I didn't understand really, the extent to which weddings are about whole families/communities, when I married years ago... seems they do :)

Riddle Sideways: 2 of the ferrets were ring bearers
    Eliza Madrigal: ?!
    Eliza Madrigal: oh my
Eliza Madrigal: don't ferrets tend to squirrel things away?
Riddle Sideways: needed to keep the rings tied to the collars
    Eliza Madrigal: haha cute
Eliza Madrigal: was remembering a friend who would find things hidden under sofas and in cushions after letting ferrets out
Eliza Madrigal: but glad everyone was included in the events :)

Riddle Sideways: had a pet crow that would trade a stone for a taken bolt

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal: pet crow?

Riddle Sideways: yes, the couple think at the time think it is all about them alone. Later, realize that a marriage is families, communities, ties and bigger
    Eliza Madrigal nods exactly

Riddle Sideways: yes, old crow became a great pet
Eliza Madrigal: find that amazing - did you observe the playing behaviors?
    Eliza Madrigal: they're fascinating
Riddle Sideways: yes, played a lot
    Eliza Madrigal smiles

Riddle Sideways: at the time I was expected to mow the lawn with a broken lawn mower that needed fixing
Riddle Sideways: each bolt taken out would later become a stone-nut-twig
Riddle Sideways: would have to get up and find the bolt somewhere in old crows cage
    Eliza Madrigal: hah
Riddle Sideways: and be yelled at if a stone-nut-twig was not traded for it
    Eliza Madrigal laughs... that's great...
Eliza Madrigal: so the crow would hunt around the yard for these?
    Riddle Sideways: treasures

Eliza Madrigal: might have waited to see what he'd build
Eliza Madrigal: maybe fix the lawnmower
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: did try to wait, but dad did not buy that excuse
    Eliza Madrigal: hehehe

Eliza Madrigal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dWw9GLcOeA <--when I first saw this video I watched it over and over, was so surprised
Riddle Sideways: that is great. ty
    Eliza Madrigal: most welcome :)

Eliza Madrigal: have a meeting this morning so have to go but this was really nice, talking with you, thanks Riddle
    Eliza Madrigal: congratulations again
    Riddle Sideways: thanks
Riddle Sideways: and don't fight the super glue
    Eliza Madrigal: :) haha
    Riddle Sideways: bye
    Eliza Madrigal: bfn :)
