[13:19] Wol Euler: I spent most of the day at work, but it was a calm and productive day so quite enjoyable

[13:21] Wol Euler: we have a competition due next friday noon, so yesterday was the last free day I'll have until September 7th

[13:21] Santoshima Resident: the pressure is not yet "on"
[13:21] Santoshima Resident: but will be soon enough
[13:21] Wol Euler: right
[13:22] Wol Euler: we are in pretty good shape, though a lot of things remain to be resolved
[13:22] Santoshima Resident: hmm, still enough time ... steady on

[13:23] Wol Euler: it'll be tough, no question about it
[13:23] Wol Euler: we should have three weeks left not two, for the stage we are at now
[13:25] Wol Euler: anyway :) that's the price of my taking two weeks off in the middle of the process

[13:34] Santoshima Resident: in sl, i don't hesitate to spend a fair amount of time looking at clothes and thinking about clothes design.
[13:35] Santoshima Resident: now only beginning to think about textiles, the making of wearables. time yesterday in a textile and dying materials shop ... incredible.

[13:36] Santoshima Resident: particulalry beautiful, cloths from various cultures treated with indigo
[13:37] Catrinamonblue Resident: yes, material has such an ability to transform :)

[13:38] Santoshima Resident: very .. although i'm not sure what twill come of it ... interested to learn more and see
[13:38] Santoshima Resident: a window into culture and art
[13:39] Santoshima Resident: enough to enjoy the sights
[13:39] Santoshima Resident: and the tactile qualities

[13:40] Wol Euler: I have a friend who collects bits of material, fur and fabric, just to feel them

[13:40] Catrinamonblue Resident: I have a box of material that I have been collecting for some time with the thoughts of creating something of it
[13:40] Catrinamonblue Resident: lol :) Seems I do too
[13:40] Santoshima Resident: what's in the box?
[13:41] Santoshima Resident: a sample?
[13:42] Catrinamonblue Resident: mostly shabby chic type material usually in 1 yard lengths :) just different patterns that I love the look of (had a thought to make a quilt at one time may still do that)
[13:42] Catrinamonblue Resident: did buy some pre cut squares off ebay some time ago :)

[13:48] Wol Euler: quilting might be a good use of that (other tahn just keeping and enjoying) but beware: I'm told it's addictive
[13:48] Santoshima Resident: i have heard that too!
