Hana Furlough: in SL or Rl?
    Hana Furlough: one moment
    Hana Furlough: incoming phone call
    stevenaia Michinaga: ok
Hana Furlough: i should take this
    Hana Furlough: my apologies
    stevenaia Michinaga: I'll be here
Hana Furlough: hope to be back soon
stevenaia Michinaga: say hello from us all at PaB :)
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Steve..
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello
stevenaia Michinaga: hana was here but took a call
    stevenaia Michinaga: she may return
    stevenaia Michinaga: how are you?
Ewan Bonham: OK, I will wait for others
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: you are the others
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello bruce
    --BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: Hi, steve. Man, am I ever having problems with SL today!
stevenaia Michinaga: seems fine for me
stevenaia Michinaga: but you made it
Bruce Mowbray: I've not been able to get on all afternoon or evening until now. . .
    stevenaia Michinaga: it;s a sign :)
Bruce Mowbray: Apparently a Catch-22 with the TOS agreement.
Bruce Mowbray: Viewer 2 wouldn't let me kn.
stevenaia Michinaga: awww, yes, the impossible to click "Agree" boc
    stevenaia Michinaga: box
Bruce Mowbray: so I've downloaded "Imprudence" -- and this is the first time I've ever used it...
stevenaia Michinaga: I am using Phoenix
Bruce Mowbray: yep -- You've heard of the problem, obviously.
stevenaia Michinaga: How do you like it?
    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Ewan.
    Bruce Mowbray: Imprudence?
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes, first impressions
Bruce Mowbray: Well, I've been using it for about three minutes - - and it let me in. That's one step over V2 -- so I guess I like it.
Bruce Mowbray: Didn't I see Ewan here a minute ago?
stevenaia Michinaga: that one reason I switched to Phoenix, better stability and able to see myself
stevenaia Michinaga: he was here then thought he would wait till others arrive
Bruce Mowbray: How can I get a copy of Phoenix?
stevenaia Michinaga: hana was here earlier as well, but got a call
Bruce Mowbray: OK. Where can I download the Phoenix viewer?
    stevenaia Michinaga: http://www.phoenixviewer.com/
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks! I'm going to do that now.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: good luck
Bruce Mowbray: Oh for crying out loud - WAHT is a SEEE instruction set??????????
    stevenaia Michinaga: for what?
stevenaia Michinaga: I don;t use instructions
Bruce Mowbray: The download options say SEEE@ Instruction Set (for older computers). . .
    stevenaia Michinaga: older?
stevenaia Michinaga: what are you running?
Bruce Mowbray: OK -- I will just explore ,my way through it. Pretend that it's Play (!)
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, they do not define "older"...
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
Bruce Mowbray: On this machine I am running XP -- so I suppose that would be older.
Bruce Mowbray: I wish I could get my avi to look at you.
    stevenaia Michinaga: there
Bruce Mowbray: My head follows wherever I put my cursor.
stevenaia Michinaga: just put your cursor over my face
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, you could focus on it
    stevenaia Michinaga: control click
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, but as soon as I go to the chat box again, the head moves.
    stevenaia Michinaga: or alt click
stevenaia Michinaga: (I;m on a mac)
Bruce Mowbray: ALT click did the trick! Thanks!
stevenaia Michinaga: while you are clicking I'll tell you a story, a Rl situation looking for additional insight
Bruce Mowbray: OK -- now I can't stop typing. (Whew!)
Bruce Mowbray: What's the topic for tonight, steve?
stevenaia Michinaga: no topic yet, perhaps this is it
    Bruce Mowbray: ha ha!
stevenaia Michinaga: let's call it "fear of loosing"
Bruce Mowbray: Well ONE of my gestures works!
Bruce Mowbray: but no sounds yet.
Bruce Mowbray: Oooops! NOW I have sounds.
Bruce Mowbray: Mmmmm. . . Is there no water in the fountain today?
stevenaia Michinaga: I turned it off for smaller groups
Bruce Mowbray: Good -- no more worries about that, then.
Bruce Mowbray: I rather like this viewer -- the only viewer I've ever used in the past seven months is the one supplied by SL.
stevenaia Michinaga: Type "/9help" to show messages
    --BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: Wow -- I am really liking this new viewer. . . !
    stevenaia Michinaga: which?
Bruce Mowbray: Oh -- sorry. The Imprudence viewer.
stevenaia Michinaga: it says Viewer 2
Bruce Mowbray: OH DEAR! What happened!???
    stevenaia Michinaga: have a seat
Bruce Mowbray: I feel like a kid -- first day at school.
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiels
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: I may have to try it
    Bruce Mowbray smiles back.
Bruce Mowbray: I'm trying out lots of things here. . .
Bruce Mowbray: Sorry to use you as my laboratory, steve.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Bruce Mowbray is wondering how to re-bake textures in his new viewer.
stevenaia Michinaga: usually the same keyboard commands work
Bruce Mowbray: yeppers. I am discovering that.
    stevenaia Michinaga: Cnd Opt +R
    stevenaia Michinaga: CMD
stevenaia Michinaga: hmm, I;m not really typing
Bruce Mowbray: Mmmmm.... The sky controls on this viewer are totally different.
Bruce Mowbray: I'm liking this one more all the time.
stevenaia Michinaga: I just use the arrow keys
Bruce Mowbray: OMG -- I just discovered where to find which friends are on-line.
Bruce Mowbray: I use the arrow keys to move around -- but in Imprudence, the sky controls are quite amazing.
Bruce Mowbray: OK. My Phoenix viewer just finished downloading. . . but I'm lovin' this one enough to stick with it.
Bruce Mowbray: Going to fetch some coffee form the inventory now.
stevenaia Michinaga: nothing special about Phoenix, except it works
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, and that is a definite PLUS.
Bruce Mowbray: This viewer actually seems to have some advantages over SL's V2.
Bruce Mowbray: I'm going to experiment with trying to offer you coffee. You don't have to accept. . . I just want to see how it works, OK?
    stevenaia Michinaga: ok
    Bruce Mowbray: Cool. It works!
    stevenaia Michinaga: hot too
    stevenaia Michinaga: says right there
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s a big mug
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, but not nearly as big as it was with V2. It actually looks real sized now -- for me, anyway.
Bruce Mowbray: OK -- I zoomed in on myself and see that it's about the same size as before.
    Bruce Mowbray: whew!
Bruce Mowbray: This should be a really FUN chat to read in the wiki, huh?
stevenaia Michinaga: w/ Phoenix you can zoom out exceptionally far
    --BELL--
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
stevenaia Michinaga: kids and their toys
stevenaia Michinaga: you can also see where everyone is looking in Phoenix
Bruce Mowbray: WOW! I just realize how far I can zoom out!
    Bruce Mowbray: amazing.
Bruce Mowbray: what do you mean "where everyone is looking"?
stevenaia Michinaga: I can see you are focused on my face
stevenaia Michinaga: it shows me that
Bruce Mowbray: Ah yes, I can see that also.
Bruce Mowbray: and now I am looking straight ahead.
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, just outside the pillow circle
Bruce Mowbray: curious. . . I still levitate when I nod my head.
Bruce Mowbray: wonder why that is.
stevenaia Michinaga: don;t know, special powers
    Bruce Mowbray: yeppers.
    Bruce Mowbray dies from laughing....
    stevenaia Michinaga dies from laughing....
Bruce Mowbray: OK. How come I got the sound for that one but not the animation???
Bruce Mowbray: I will try it again.
stevenaia Michinaga: did you see me fall over?
    Bruce Mowbray dies from laughing....
    stevenaia Michinaga: I saw that
Bruce Mowbray: Cool -- It works!
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I saw you die from laughing and then do a leap into the air.
Bruce Mowbray: I don't want to be responsible if all that coffee keeps you awake tonight.
Bruce Mowbray: Oh wow! I'm playing with the camera controls -- fantastic!
Bruce Mowbray: I didn't realize what I'd been missing,.
stevenaia Michinaga: you can travel quite far with your camera too
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I've been zooming in and out -- but now I will try a panoramic sweep. . .
stevenaia Michinaga: not far zooming, far Caming
Bruce Mowbray: WOW - - - I can see the Village Hall from here. . . I think that's what it is. . . and the guardian plots.
    Bruce Mowbray: Now I'm back.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Bruce Mowbray: lots and lots of flavors to my new toy.
Bruce Mowbray: From my notes, I see you're in Bethlehem, PA.
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Bruce Mowbray: I was born in Bethlehem.
    stevenaia Michinaga: here?
    Bruce Mowbray: (West Virginia)
    stevenaia Michinaga: awww
Bruce Mowbray: a suburb of Wheeling.
stevenaia Michinaga: there are a few
    Bruce Mowbray: yep.
Bruce Mowbray: When I was less than a year old, my family moved to this region of Ohio -- it is known as "Egypt" --
    Bruce Mowbray: a true story.
Bruce Mowbray: The main road going through the area is Egypt Pike.
stevenaia Michinaga: we have all sorts of biblical towns near us, Lebanon, Nazareth (where Martin Guitars are made, Egypt too
Bruce Mowbray: cool! We have some Biblical road names: Judas Road. . . etc.
Bruce Mowbray: Martin Guitars. . . wow.
stevenaia Michinaga: just a few miles from here
    Bruce Mowbray: interesting.
Bruce Mowbray: just curious -- but what would you have fdone tonight if I'd not shown up at the fountain?
Bruce Mowbray: would you have stayed here?
    stevenaia Michinaga: usually do
    Bruce Mowbray: hmmmmm.
stevenaia Michinaga: for the majority of the hour
    --BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: I was starting to panic a bit about not being able to get on. . . because I promised to take Storm's session tomorrow morning.
stevenaia Michinaga: but it is time to go now
    stevenaia Michinaga: what time?
Bruce Mowbray: the 7 slt slot.
stevenaia Michinaga: awww, lots of europeans in the morning
Bruce Mowbray: I think Storm lives in the Rocky Mountains.
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Bruce Mowbray: OK -- Time for both of us to go.
    Bruce Mowbray: Good night.
    stevenaia Michinaga: night
Bruce Mowbray: This has been fun.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    Bruce Mowbray dies from laughing....
