Bertram Jacobus: i´m in a group from where many gifts are coming, at least one every day ... :-) - i got the pumpkin bumpkin car from there, too :-)

Aphrodite Macbain: I saw a few pieces of 4x8 foot plywood
Aphrodite Macbain: were you going to assemble them into a hollow structure?
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm curious how 3D buildings are built
Liza Deischer: so I think I'm going to tear it down and make something different
Aphrodite Macbain: oh. can't you save (take) what you have already made and re-work it?
Liza Deischer: eh well, a floor, a few walls, and something on top, that is basically all
Liza Deischer: sure, but if something doesn't work out.......
Aphrodite Macbain: You can do a lot with a hollow cube!
Bleu Oleander: where is your building?
Liza Deischer: but I stay with the window for a while
Liza Deischer: yes, but that is only 10 x10 x10
Liza Deischer: and that is not big
Aphrodite Macbain: Big enough to fit 4 people in

Liza Deischer: so mostly you make walls of them and put them together
Liza Deischer: the hard part is the windows
Aphrodite Macbain: I would imagine
Liza Deischer: you need to make space for it, and you can do that in different ways
Aphrodite Macbain: Don't you just apply it to a surface?
Liza Deischer: sometimes that is possible, it depends all on the texture you use, or the window you use
Aphrodite Macbain: I guess I'll have to try putting a window in my teepe to see what happens!
Liza Deischer: but it is not like you can put any texture on it to make it look like a window
Liza Deischer: well I can show you sometime
Aphrodite Macbain: OK. It sounds like you would need a lot of manual dexterity to design it
Liza Deischer: well if you get the hang of it and have the right materials, it is not that complicated
Aphrodite Macbain: I am always impressed by the totally immersive sites where everything works in all dimensions
Aphrodite Macbain: Like the Siena Cathedra- the Duomo- extraordinary
Aphrodite Macbain: My cat thinks the yellow leaves are birds and keeps jumping at the indow

Liza Deischer: well you can make it is complicated as you want, and some are very good at that

Aphrodite Macbain: yes. I'm gradually realizing how important the textures are
Liza Deischer: and texture making is a trade of its own
Aphrodite Macbain: I had fun downloading an image I took in Italy and incorporating it into my plot - giving it a real depth
Liza Deischer: so I try to find the right textures, there are a lot out there to buy
