PART ONE: Archmage Atlantis and stevenaia Michinaga

    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Arch
    Archmage Atlantis: Hello Sreve
Archmage Atlantis: Interesting world, this is
stevenaia Michinaga: in many ways, anything specific come to mind?
Archmage Atlantis: Many things do, the comfort level....or the danger is difficult
stevenaia Michinaga: comfort and danger...hmmm yin and yang
stevenaia Michinaga: some things need to have a counterpoint
Archmage Atlantis: I am upfront, and many whom I love find that difficult
stevenaia Michinaga: upfront? you mean direct? truthful? blunt?
    Archmage Atlantis: direct and blunt
Archmage Atlantis: Truth is something I cannot accept as a concept
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
stevenaia Michinaga: I was just asking your definition of upfront
    Archmage Atlantis: understand
stevenaia Michinaga: so their response is not what you expected?
stevenaia Michinaga: like many things (comedy to food) sometimes it's the delivery that 's as important as the message
Archmage Atlantis: i try not to expect....being human, I at times do

    --BELL--

Archmage Atlantis: You have become more female, Steve......once you only wore a tattoo, now you are clothed in chiffane
stevenaia Michinaga: as you know, I don't change close often
    stevenaia Michinaga: clothes
stevenaia Michinaga: this dress was a gift, I like it, actually many like it
stevenaia Michinaga: but thank you for reminding me about Fael's tattoos
Archmage Atlantis: That I am more animal, is also a change
Archmage Atlantis: And i loved Fael
Archmage Atlantis: But she is Fael
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, a remarkable soul
Archmage Atlantis: And I loved the man
Archmage Atlantis: I was a block to her place
    stevenaia Michinaga: a block?
    stevenaia Michinaga: Hello Ewan
    Ewan Bonham: Hi folks...:)
stevenaia Michinaga: how are you Ewan?
    Archmage Atlantis: Ewan'
    Archmage Atlantis: Greetings
    Ewan Bonham: Can't stay long...:)
stevenaia Michinaga: then relax here for a moment
    Archmage Atlantis: May I ask
Archmage Atlantis: what draws you away
    Archmage Atlantis: E?
stevenaia Michinaga: seems there are very few (of my SL )friends on tonight
Archmage Atlantis: Ah, Bryce is tellling us in 40 min there will be a discussion
    stevenaia Michinaga: Bryce?
Archmage Atlantis: Not sure I can stay awake that long
stevenaia Michinaga: what is the topic?
    Ewan Bonham: Is that here?
Archmage Atlantis: let me see if I can paste it
Archmage Atlantis: Just a reminder that we'll be starting our discussion at 8pm SLT, in about 40 minutes. Our topic this week is on megacities now and in the next few decades
stevenaia Michinaga: is there a LM?
    Archmage Atlantis: LM?
    stevenaia Michinaga: Landmark
    Archmage Atlantis: Oh
    stevenaia Michinaga: or SURL
    Archmage Atlantis: Interesting
Archmage Atlantis: This world is outside LMs
stevenaia Michinaga: how do you get there?
Ewan Bonham: see you all later...
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye Ewan
    Archmage Atlantis: One is invited
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
stevenaia Michinaga: Urban issues is one of my interests
Archmage Atlantis: Wow, that was so not what I wish to be
stevenaia Michinaga: not sure I know what you mean
    Archmage Atlantis: I mean
Archmage Atlantis: that I do notwish
    Archmage Atlantis: to be exclusive

    --BELL--

Archmage Atlantis: That others will turn away
    stevenaia Michinaga: (Arch disappeared)

PART TWO: Archmage Atlantis disappeared and Paradise Tennant joined me, the discussion turned to our visual world and pets

    Paradise Tennant: quiet nite :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
stevenaia Michinaga: Arch was here a but, then disappeared
    stevenaia Michinaga: in mid bell
    stevenaia Michinaga: how are you?
Paradise Tennant: very well thanks ..
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
Paradise Tennant: rainy nite went for a nice slow trudge .. gave the dog a long walk in it and then a bath ..now working on cocoa and biscotti ..all good here
stevenaia Michinaga: this dress seems to be well likes, thank you, I am not used to all these compliments
Paradise Tennant: smiles you look smashing in it :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: giggles
Paradise Tennant: it is fun .. being a swirl of colour and light
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, catches the eye
    Paradise Tennant: nods
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: a great dance dress

    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: yes would be super
stevenaia Michinaga: didn;t realize how one can mesmerize people
Paradise Tennant: smiles we are visual creatures
    Paradise Tennant: oppps
stevenaia Michinaga: I was used to pretending we are not
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, we are undisciplined
Paradise Tennant: dogs are more balanced see you and smell you but with us it i all seems to be in the eyes
Paradise Tennant: smiles they must really be able to taste things
Paradise Tennant: scent is so much part of taste
stevenaia Michinaga: on one hand I understand (and pretend not to) yet I wear a striking pair of glasses that get the same reaction in RL that this dress gets in SL
Paradise Tennant: looks down at the peanut pack she is feeding blue and wonders what it really tastes like to him :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Paradise Tennant: well there is a certain harmony and joy to be found in the esthetic :)
stevenaia Michinaga: we have several rose bushed on the side of our house, each one smells different, the one that smells perfectly sweet to me has no smell to my spouse, the one that smells wonderfully spicy to her, smells like soap to me, wonders if colors are as perplexing to each of us
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Paradise Tennant: hmm
Paradise Tennant: smell I suspect is more subjective than colour but how do you measure colour perception
Paradise Tennant: they say dogs do not see colour which i think is bollocks ..
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, how do you measure smell, color cna be numbers
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
Paradise Tennant: usually let blue pick out his bandana he always picks the red one
    Paradise Tennant: hmm
stevenaia Michinaga: a better shade of grey, perhaps :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Paradise Tennant: likes red cars too
Paradise Tennant: blue shares the preference
stevenaia Michinaga: I like cat sized dogs :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Paradise Tennant: they live longest
stevenaia Michinaga: and are easy to dry
Paradise Tennant: easier to bathe and pick up after
    Paradise Tennant: eat less
Paradise Tennant: easier to fly with
    stevenaia Michinaga: smaller toys
Paradise Tennant: all manner of advantages nods
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: you you bring him on board?
Paradise Tennant: no would never fly with him
Paradise Tennant: unless I could bring in the cabin and that is not allowed at his size
stevenaia Michinaga: then how do you you mean easier to fly with
Paradise Tennant: too dangerous the cargo areas get really hot and really cold
Paradise Tennant: little dogs you bring in the cabin no problem
Paradise Tennant: they fit under the seat
    Paradise Tennant: in a bag
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Paradise Tennant: give them a sleeping pill and
Paradise Tennant: they blink and they are there

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: I only had a road trip with a cat once
stevenaia Michinaga: left at night and everything was ok, in the morning the cat freaked out after seeing what 60 mph looked like
Paradise Tennant: did she enjoy it
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Paradise Tennant: ouch
    stevenaia Michinaga: oops
Paradise Tennant: are you crazy dad do you know how fast this is :)
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, thought running around the car inside would solve something
Paradise Tennant: I belt blue in on the car he wears a seat belt through his shoulder harness always think if he fully understood the implications of car travel he would demand a helmet he is very cautious
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Paradise Tennant: must have been lively
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: I've seen dogs with goggles and helmets
stevenaia Michinaga: very trendy when traveling
Paradise Tennant: yes goggles are great idea most common dog injury is to lose an eye to a bug when they are sticking their head out of the window
    Paradise Tennant: window at speed
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, but that does not seem to stop them
Paradise Tennant: have a friend who drive her basset hound in a side car to her motorcycle .. he wears goggles and his jowls fly back in the wind .. very funny picture
    stevenaia Michinaga: laughs
Paradise Tennant: he is a character has a penchant for sucking cat's heads ..her cats are use to it .. but she is afraid to take him somewhere he could potentially pin some poor feline against a wall and give it cardiac arrest :) his way of showing affection
Paradise Tennant: also will clear a coffee table of all food in the blink of an eye
stevenaia Michinaga: a very entertaining dog
Paradise Tennant: just mow through cheese and crackers
    Paradise Tennant: smiles yes
Paradise Tennant: blue is the complete opposite very well behaved with the exception of sharing his opinions freely
Paradise Tennant: could leave steak on the floor he would not touch unless told it was ok
stevenaia Michinaga: a dog should be seen not heard :0
stevenaia Michinaga: they can be noisy
Paradise Tennant: lol well must admit i like spontaneous company so do not encourage him to be obedient all the time
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)

PART THREE: Lucinda Lavender arrives and I head off to bed, her and Paradise continue a discussion about their dreams

    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Lucinda
    Paradise Tennant: hya lucinda :)
Paradise Tennant: good to see you :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hiya:)
Paradise Tennant: how are you doing lucinda :)
stevenaia Michinaga: you have snowflakes on your skirt, were they always there? or is it just getting cold
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    stevenaia Michinaga: (and I noticed)
Lucinda Lavender: been there since the beginning of my time with the skirt:)
    Paradise Tennant: they look lovely
Lucinda Lavender: I am pretty well.. thank you
Paradise Tennant: hmm i had a dream lucinda and I have so few dreams
Paradise Tennant: meant to tell you about it
    Lucinda Lavender: curious:)
    stevenaia Michinaga: listens
Paradise Tennant: was in Venice ... in the ghetto the world's first ghetto on a trip with a friend who was taking pictures for another artist friend to turn into murals for a new york restaurant we spent the day walking and taking pictures
Paradise Tennant: when i got home about two nites later
Paradise Tennant: i dreamt I was a young jewish boy hiding
Paradise Tennant: under bags in a cellar
Paradise Tennant: terrified dry mouth could barely swallow
    Paradise Tennant: listening to shouting
    Paradise Tennant: boots stamping
    Paradise Tennant: glass breaking
    Paradise Tennant: wood being smashed
    Paradise Tennant: was shaking
Paradise Tennant: woke up as I was being dragged out
    Paradise Tennant: horrible dream really

    --BELL--

    Paradise Tennant: but so real
stevenaia Michinaga: wow, not a pleasant dream
Paradise Tennant: felt like an echo
Lucinda Lavender: sometimes when they seem very real...I think there is serious witnessing going...
    Lucinda Lavender: on
Lucinda Lavender: and seeing this in the dream comes perhaps from a sense of love or appreciation for what happened there once
Lucinda Lavender: love can't spell the aword
Lucinda Lavender: to appreciate the full reality of another time
stevenaia Michinaga: I must go now, thank you for joining me
    Paradise Tennant: nite steve :)
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
    Lucinda Lavender: nite steve
    Paradise Tennant: namaste
Lucinda Lavender: very sad things can happen and when we see it in the dream I think that something special has happened
Paradise Tennant: like an echo of what was
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: and because you have the capacity to view it from a place of just seeing....
    Paradise Tennant: and feeling ..
Paradise Tennant: it was very very real
    Paradise Tennant: in the moment
Lucinda Lavender: maybe something gets dispersed for healing
Lucinda Lavender: when people see violent things it does not mean they are violent
Lucinda Lavender: it can mean they have understanding perhaps a wider view
Paradise Tennant: sometimes I suspect profound sadness lingers
Lucinda Lavender: yes I think so too
Paradise Tennant: felt that in the coliseum in rome .. very heavy space
Lucinda Lavender: people have endured so much...and their story is there to witness
Paradise Tennant: time is funny stuff
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Lucinda Lavender: yes...I wonder if there were a calendar that record things happening on certain dates...if dreams resonate with this sometimes
    Paradise Tennant: hmm
Lucinda Lavender: just a feeling about how sometimes in situations where great love is involved...great connection...that there is a remembrance or a foretelling
    Paradise Tennant: nods yes

    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: and we go places and can imagine what happened...and when it was very vivid for someone it happened to then it might be vivid for the dreamer
Paradise Tennant: like somehow some part of you picks up the resonance
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: our open minds kind of absorb some of the story
Lucinda Lavender: it may not be our story...but we can listen
Paradise Tennant: and share in a way
Paradise Tennant: maybe that helps somehow
Lucinda Lavender: it feels that way to me tho I have no way of knowing why
Paradise Tennant: smiles we are well beyond the empirical I suspect
Paradise Tennant: no way to measure verify . that kind of experience
Lucinda Lavender: it is a helpful way for me to assume some kind of understanding is born of what is seen
Paradise Tennant: interesting that seeing can be conscious and unconscious really a dream state but still seeing
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...
Paradise Tennant: in a way that feels very valid
Paradise Tennant: when you are the one experiencing it
Lucinda Lavender: I have had that experience with the 9/11 dream
    Paradise Tennant: listens
Lucinda Lavender: I dreamed on 9/11 of a building collapsing where people were crushed inside.
    Lucinda Lavender: the morning of
Lucinda Lavender: and I learned two things that probably have entered in to an explanation for this...
Lucinda Lavender: My own experience of trauma as a child...gives me a sort of satellite dish for that kind of information
Lucinda Lavender: and because of love...caring you might call it
Paradise Tennant: love opens you up
Lucinda Lavender: I would care about those who lose their loved ones
Lucinda Lavender: The dream ended with a song...
Lucinda Lavender: I was singing it...Both Sides Now.
    Paradise Tennant: wow
Paradise Tennant: so not a sad ending in a way
Lucinda Lavender: nearly knocked my socks off
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Paradise Tennant: suspect death is really not that bad
Lucinda Lavender: it felt like the bumpersticker for the dream
Paradise Tennant: just perhaps the drama that may proceed it ..is less than appealing
    Paradise Tennant: nods
Paradise Tennant: what did you feel when you saw the news
Lucinda Lavender: now contains the information of both sides
Lucinda Lavender: I went kind of cold...
Lucinda Lavender: turned on the tv unexpectedly that morning because the clocks were off...:)
Lucinda Lavender: and saw the building before it went down
Lucinda Lavender: I knew that the dream was important because after waking at 4:45 with it...I thought I must remember this
Lucinda Lavender: so I tried to rewind it in my mind like a tape
Lucinda Lavender: at least three times...
Paradise Tennant: blinks .. going over it in your mind did that bring more detail
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...

    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: did it just come the once
Paradise Tennant: ever repeat that dream
Lucinda Lavender: It was at the university across from my work not a tower. Andfor me only once...
Lucinda Lavender: what was most interesting was that there were mysteries in the dream I was trying to figure out
    Paradise Tennant: listens
Lucinda Lavender: why would they intending to turn a museum of natural and cultural history into apartments?
Lucinda Lavender: I decided to walk around to the west to look further in to this
Lucinda Lavender: From the north I look south...I see a domed building and think...Oh something is not right up there...then it melts down and I think people are crushed inside
Lucinda Lavender: I look east into the parking lot where I always park in number 11
Lucinda Lavender: and see my deceased mother and a pathologist I use to nanny for,
Lucinda Lavender: I think they look feeeble I need toescort them out of the area
Lucinda Lavender: and I do and as I do I see my boss drive up...she rolls down the window we stare into each others eyes(blue) and I sing Both Sides Now...
    Lucinda Lavender: end of dream
    Paradise Tennant: wow
Paradise Tennant: has you mom appeared in other of your dreams
    Lucinda Lavender: some..rarely now:)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Lucinda Lavender: sorry if that was long:)
Paradise Tennant: no I will be pondering it for a while ..intriguing
Lucinda Lavender: dreams that feel like they have subtitles seem to have the mysterious nature...
Paradise Tennant: wonders what the message is
    Lucinda Lavender: good question...:)
    Lucinda Lavender: illusion ...
    Lucinda Lavender: for one thing
Lucinda Lavender: and dreaming access more than the personal story...
Paradise Tennant: what can dreaming access
Paradise Tennant: a deeper ..we ?
    Lucinda Lavender: I think so
    Lucinda Lavender: unity consciousness?
    Paradise Tennant: hmm
Paradise Tennant: consciousness is funny stuff too :)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes..
Lucinda Lavender: woke up the other morning with the sense of a narrator working
    Lucinda Lavender: with my story
    Paradise Tennant: wow
    Lucinda Lavender: my words

    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: I think it is just my mind putting words together to tell a story
Lucinda Lavender: maybe learn from what appears
    Paradise Tennant: yes
    Paradise Tennant: learning is key
    Lucinda Lavender: I yes
Lucinda Lavender: do you feel that part of you dream is most important...
    Paradise Tennant: hmm
Lucinda Lavender: one part more vivid than another
Paradise Tennant: no .. it felt like an echo
    Paradise Tennant: like a rerun
Lucinda Lavender: ah...because you could go back in and in meditation send anything that would help...
    Paradise Tennant: ton glen
Paradise Tennant: yes I will do that
Lucinda Lavender: ah...can you describe ton glen? if it is not too late...
Paradise Tennant: ton glen is a buddhist visualization practice where you breath in
Paradise Tennant: someone's pain sickness distress
Paradise Tennant: direct it at your own ego and transform it to peace to redirect at them
Paradise Tennant: sort of the short version
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
Paradise Tennant: usually picture black smoke coming out of the person which you inhale and then transform and exhale .. sort of white mist
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Paradise Tennant: we do it quite a bit
Lucinda Lavender: could do it for the young fellow...
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: the time was during world war 2
Paradise Tennant: so a while ago now
    Lucinda Lavender: yes..
Paradise Tennant: but again time is funny stuff :)
Paradise Tennant: remembering seeing my hands and my legs and feet in boots .. brown boots .. wool trousers
Lucinda Lavender: so it was almost like becoming the person for that time...
Paradise Tennant: oh yes absolutely I was him
Paradise Tennant: was in his body
    Paradise Tennant: very odd
Lucinda Lavender: maybe your work through your practice has allowed you to do this...
Paradise Tennant: likely about 12 years old
    Paradise Tennant: i wonder
Paradise Tennant: so seldom remember dreams
Lucinda Lavender: making one more open...a trip can stimulate a dream...
Lucinda Lavender: and I have heard gesture does as well
Paradise Tennant: hmm travelling is stimulating
Paradise Tennant: makes you come alive
Lucinda Lavender: seeing new things, old things, history before your eyes
    Paradise Tennant: hmm yes
Paradise Tennant: places I find have a distinctive vibe to them
Paradise Tennant: can feel it sometimes when I walk into a room
Lucinda Lavender: and with a clear mind...you might have a way of tuning in
    Paradise Tennant: smiles

    --BELL--

    Paradise Tennant: thank you lucinda
    Lucinda Lavender: you are welcome:0
Paradise Tennant: I enjoyed this :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Lucinda Lavender: smiling too...
Paradise Tennant: I should go to bed after midnite here :)
Paradise Tennant: namaste my friend :)
Lucinda Lavender: have a good dream namaste:)
Paradise Tennant: you too .. puppies playing on the beach :)))
