The Guardian for this meeting was Storm Nordwind. The comments are by Storm Nordwind. The first half has some good ideas about the next "Art as Being" exhibition. The second half is pure play.

Eliza arrives in a quite different form to normal. Her avatar is like a Japanese doll and does not move around but rather stands on the cushion. It's hard to tell the doll's gender.

    Storm Nordwind: Good morning Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Morning Storm :)
Eliza Madrigal: Now I see what the tinies are talking about.. hehe
Storm Nordwind: I see you are in "dropped mode" :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hope I don't make you uncomfortable by standing
    Eliza Madrigal: YES :)
Storm Nordwind: Being tiny in SL is rather different to be tiny in RL. In one it's a choice; in the other it's not. :)
Eliza Madrigal: today I have shed everything to play as my inner 'little boy'
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: surprisingly comfortable :)

We leave discussing avatars for a while - we'll return to them shortly - and chat about the work I've been doing recently. Appropriate to Eliza's avatar we talk about the good people from Kira Japan.

Eliza Madrigal: So tell me how goes the rearranging and such?
Storm Nordwind: With PaB lands. All done. Nothing left to do. All moved, changed, poofed, rebuilt, and sold - and now we save money
    Eliza Madrigal: wow, fantastic
    Eliza Madrigal: Thank you!
    Storm Nordwind smiles
Storm Nordwind: Kira Japan still have to work out how to use their new land, and I will help them if they need, but they can take whatever time is appropriate for them
Eliza Madrigal: What did they have before? A place similar to Kira?
Storm Nordwind: They had a place on the sky platform next to the Cafe
Storm Nordwind: It was larger than they knew what to do with but, as always in SL, they found a way to use it!
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, they are very active as a group aren't they?
Storm Nordwind: Now they have a smaller area and an odd shape - a narrow strip, but it's still reasonable size, and they are a creative bunch!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Storm Nordwind: Yes. And they are lovely people too :)
Bleu Oleander: hi Storm, Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal is curious but imagines that the SL Japanese translators prob don't work very well
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
    Storm Nordwind: Hi Bleu!
Storm Nordwind: I expect you are right Eliza

I mention, what to me is, a very important point.

Storm Nordwind: We were just talking about all the land moves being complete
    Bleu Oleander: big job!
Storm Nordwind: All done - and now we're saving huge amounts of money.
Storm Nordwind: And the important thing to me is this...
Storm Nordwind: Everyone's donation is much more effective now
    Eliza Madrigal: Yay! :))
    Bleu Oleander: :))

Now we return to avatar talk. Bleu had announced a new art exhibition based on "drop what you have to see what you are... as an avatar" - creating an art piece as your avatar, and then taking a snapshot in a white photo-booth and posting that snapshot in the exhibition. On Sunday 14th of November, there will a discussion and people can come dressed in their new avatars while they explain their interpretation of the theme.

Storm Nordwind: By the way, I didn't know whether to save my "exhibit avatar" till the discussion in mid November or whether to show it earlier
Storm Nordwind: I guess Eliza has made the latter choice!

Eliza seems to say she will do more than one.

Eliza Madrigal: :) Well, this is av 1
    Bleu Oleander: either way
Eliza Madrigal: when you drop everything, you can be anything
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Storm Nordwind: Oh! Eliza... how many will there be? :)
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    --BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: lets see how it may naturally evolve
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Dao :)
    Storm Nordwind: Good morning Dao
    Bleu Oleander: hi Dao
    Dao Yheng: Morning :)
Bleu Oleander: so a continuous drop/add cycle Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, perhaps the window of time from now until the exhibit session will be one snapshot of many images and expressions :)
    Bleu Oleander: very nice!
Eliza Madrigal: this seems a very timely exploration for me Bleu, so thank you for the concept!
    Bleu Oleander: yw!
Bleu Oleander: It will be fun to see how everyone expresses the theme

Eliza describe her avatar - which turns out to be male.

Eliza Madrigal: interesting about this av, is that I feel not just like little boy, but hm.. like little boy who was raised in an entirely different way....
Eliza Madrigal: like I've changed the whole backstory...
    Bleu Oleander: very interesting!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
Bleu Oleander: such power in a digital image!
    Bleu Oleander: hi Yaku
    Storm Nordwind: Hi Yaku
Yakuzza Lethecus: how much of it did you create urself eliza ?
Eliza Madrigal: perhaps he was told that he was 'born enlightened' or heard by others in a diff way... who knows :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ya :)
Eliza Madrigal: None at all Ya
Storm Nordwind: The most arresting thing for me Eliza, is your absolute stillness
Dao Yheng: It looks like a doll -- is it meant to be?
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Dao Yheng: So dolls have an easier time being still than we do!
Bleu Oleander: stillness and yet a strong presence
Storm Nordwind: Until they are manipulated by someone else, i suspect!
Eliza Madrigal: yes... they know how to stay in one spot
Dao Yheng: and then they know how to fly
    Eliza Madrigal: at ease perhaps
    Eliza Madrigal: good listeners...
Eliza Madrigal: better than grown ups or children who aren't dolls... hehe

Eliza's avatar is provoking so much thought, I can see that a single discussion session would be very long. That gives me an idea, and we discuss its ins and outs.

Storm Nordwind wonders whether this will turn into a series of theme sessions, each devoted to talking about one exhibition avatar! ... and that would be nice :)
Bleu Oleander: oh nice idea Storm!
Eliza Madrigal: now if I could only drop the name "Eliza" who I associate as chattering a lot....
    Bleu Oleander: ha!
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Storm Nordwind: Even Eliza is no match for Storm in real life!
Eliza Madrigal grins and really loves that about Storm in real life!
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Storm Nordwind grins and blushes
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Aphrodite :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey aph
    Bleu Oleander: hi Aph :)
    Storm Nordwind: Hi Aphrodite!
    Aphrodite Macbain: hello all
Yakuzza Lethecus: i was actually just thinking which effect the dropping of ,,eliza" to the avatar would have
Bleu Oleander: Aph, Storm had a great idea : [7:24] Storm Nordwind wonders whether this will turn into a series of theme sessions, each devoted to talking about one exhibition avatar!
Storm Nordwind: Dakini used to have "Clearly" tag above her head. Perhaps Eliza need a "Clearly not" tag ;-)
Aphrodite Macbain: what is an exhibition avatar?
Eliza Madrigal: this is the funny thing.... just signing on as an alt wouldn't be sufficient to 'drop' Eliza....
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think we all have pictures of the ppl in mind we chat with still would we think of the same avatar in a different way if somebody else then eliza would wear like the puppet ?
Bleu Oleander: the avatar we all design for the art exhibition
Yakuzza Lethecus: would the appearance change ?
    Aphrodite Macbain: oh
Eliza Madrigal: yes Yakuzaa... like when you meet an av in rl and you see 'both'... or that is sometimes my experience
Aphrodite Macbain: sorry I'm a bit confused
Eliza Madrigal: and then seeing both, maybe neither...
    Aphrodite Macbain: (normal state)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bleu Oleander: Eliza is here as one of her "art avatars"
Eliza Madrigal: I thought confusion was the point of these explorations.... hahhhaa
Storm Nordwind: Eliza's avatar this morning is one she has already taken a snapsnot of and put in the new art exhibition.
Storm Nordwind: And we've been talking a lot about it
Aphrodite Macbain: then I'm functioning well here!
Storm Nordwind: So I wondered whether that might be a trend
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: confusion is a rich ground of potential
Storm Nordwind: And that we could have a series of sessions when one person's exhibition avatar inspires a whole conversation
Dao Yheng: For halloween this year, I was thinking of dressing as my avatar
Storm Nordwind: It certainly seems a very rich source of ideaas
Eliza Madrigal: I love that Dao!!
    --BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: but in the polka dots right? hehe
    Dao Yheng: right!
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm not sure if I could talk about my "new" avatar for more than 5 minutes
Bleu Oleander: maybe not Aph, but others would certainly add to the discussion of your new av and the way you have expressed the theme :)
Dao Yheng: (especially since my av now dresses more like me)
    Aphrodite Macbain: sounds liek fun
    Aphrodite Macbain: like
    Eliza Madrigal: :)) Dao
Eliza Madrigal: I'd have to have a dozen sessions, which wouldn't do.... but maybe I'm acting out 'don't be predictable' from lojong, too
Dao Yheng: :) it would be a great show!
Bleu Oleander: maybe just random ... whenever a "new av" shows up ... could spark a conversation
Bleu Oleander: could also inspire others to participate :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Dao Yheng: Sorry to leave you all, rl calls... bye all!
    Bleu Oleander: bye Dao
    Storm Nordwind: Bye for now
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Dao :)
    Storm Nordwind waves
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care dao

    Eliza has another great idea.

Eliza Madrigal thinks it would be funny to play as others too.... symbolically stand in one another's shoes looking through one another's eyes...
Bleu Oleander: so Eliza, how does your new av point to "what you really are?"
Storm Nordwind: Wow - that's a powerful idea!
Aphrodite Macbain: Now that would be interesting
Bleu Oleander: I love that Idea Eliza
Bleu Oleander: maybe that's our next project??
Eliza Madrigal: hm, well its sort of this one too in a way...
    Aphrodite Macbain: why not?
Eliza Madrigal: I'm game though :) As for 'who I really am'... yes what a question....
    Eliza Madrigal: nothing fixed ...
Eliza Madrigal: perhaps aspiring to let something fresh be written...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: alf :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Alfred
    Storm Nordwind: Hi Alf
    Bleu Oleander: hi Alf
    Aphrodite Macbain: he alf
    Alfred Kelberry: hello :)
Eliza Madrigal: remembered just now that the first dream I ever had that took place in SL, was of a group of us in the dream workshop exhanging faces... taking our avs off like clothes...
    Alfred Kelberry: oh! eliza? :)
Aphrodite Macbain: what an interesting dream
    Bleu Oleander: wow, great dream
    Bleu Oleander: 1
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Hi Alfred
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Alfred Kelberry: leggy girl :)
Aphrodite Macbain: cute isn't she Alf?
    Alfred Kelberry: cute av :)
    Eliza Madrigal: ty :)
Eliza Madrigal: now we see eye to eyes
Alfred Kelberry: hey, i think we look lovely together :)

Now Bleu has a great idea too. And the fun starts...

Bleu Oleander: what if we all were the same avatar?
    Eliza Madrigal: Oooohhhh
    Eliza Madrigal: neat yes
    Alfred Kelberry: bleu... interesting
Aphrodite Macbain: that would be strange. what an interesting (and frightening?) concept
Bleu Oleander: we could all become one of our stock avs
    Eliza Madrigal: yes :)!
    Bleu Oleander: let's do it
Aphrodite Macbain: we wouldn't have an idenity
    Aphrodite Macbain: identity
    Eliza Madrigal: like resetting
Aphrodite Macbain: How would we know ourselves :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: alas, tags
Storm Nordwind: Would we appear as clones to visitors? A kind of scary PaB army? :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hahahha
Alfred Kelberry: so, our body is what identify us?
    Bleu Oleander: ha!
Eliza Madrigal: My son said to me yesterday that it was interesting thing about girls.. that they can almost clone themselves... think we need to talk more
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Alfred Kelberry: maybe we should try it :)
    Eliza Madrigal: !! Bleu!
Bleu Oleander: come on everyone be a box
Eliza Madrigal: Ohhhh... that s in inventory?
    --BELL--
Bleu Oleander: box for a day
Bleu Oleander: yes, in your library
Alfred Kelberry: depends on when you were born
    Alfred Kelberry: bleu :)
    Alfred Kelberry: cute :)
Alfred Kelberry: wait, you can actually sit?
Bleu Oleander: now I know why you stand Alf
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Bleu Oleander: see it's already helping me to understand others :)
Eliza Madrigal: AH, I see it but gives me 'no options' when I right click, hmmm
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Bleu Oleander: I just dragged the cardboard box bot on to my av
    Eliza Madrigal: oops...
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Eliza Madrigal: accidentally gave mine to alf when he stepped into it
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
    Alfred Kelberry: hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: Cute!
    Bleu Oleander: ha! Eliza
Alfred Kelberry: boxy with a dress :)
Alfred Kelberry: wait! come back! :)
    Alfred Kelberry: she's gone...
    Aphrodite Macbain: oh!
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, crashed
    Alfred Kelberry: wb, eliza :)
Aphrodite Macbain: omg two of them!
Eliza Madrigal: ty :)) think I got carried away....
    Eliza Madrigal: we're so cute
    Alfred Kelberry: hehe
    Alfred Kelberry: so cute :)
Eliza Madrigal: getting out of the box by getting into a boxy
Alfred Kelberry: viva la robotolution! :)
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Aphrodite Macbain: How did you do that!!??
    Aphrodite Macbain: I'm awestruck
Eliza Madrigal: library > clothing >
    Storm Nordwind waves
Aphrodite Macbain: is there a category called box under clothing?
    Storm Nordwind: search for "boxbot"
    Aphrodite Macbain: Bye
    Aphrodite Macbain: Bye! storm
    Eliza Madrigal: :))S torm
    Aphrodite Macbain: oh. goody
    Eliza Madrigal: ahahha Love this
Eliza Madrigal: Yakuzza... you were almost there
    Storm Nordwind: onigokko
    Storm Nordwind: stop
    Eliza Madrigal: uh oh
    Alfred Kelberry: storm :)
Alfred Kelberry: blue is jumping in the fountain :)

(A visitor arrives. She never did respond to my question about whether I could publish her name.)

Meanwhile, we are all dressed like Alfred - clothed in boxes, as boxes... boxes that get soggy in the pool and the rain and the snow, that dance strange dances between piles of bananas and bibles, that run from fireworks and radiate light... The whole of the rest of the session is filled with such play.

Eliza Madrigal: Nice to meet you
    Alfred Kelberry: aph :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Alfred Kelberry: something's not quite right :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: onigokko
Alfred Kelberry: yaku the dragon! :)
Eliza Madrigal: you've found us on a funny day
    Alfred Kelberry: haha
Eliza Madrigal: but welcome to Play as Being :)
Alfred Kelberry: gosh, this is so funny :)
Aphrodite Macbain: where am I going????
Alfred Kelberry: aph, you look like zombie :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: stop
Eliza Madrigal: I feel soggy... better step out of the fountain
    Yakuzza Lethecus: onigokko
    Aphrodite Macbain: stop
    Alfred Kelberry: blue :)
Storm Nordwind: These are rather playful meetings - but this one seems to have left all seriousness behind!
Aphrodite Macbain: this is my zombie dance
Alfred Kelberry: you need a special tiny av dance :)
    Our visitor laughs maniacally
    Bleu Oleander: seriousness?? ha!
Eliza Madrigal: :)) we dropped seriousness...somewhere in the fountain I think
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hello!
Eliza Madrigal: is that Thriller, Aphrodite?
    Bleu Oleander: great pics!
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Alfred Kelberry: omg! 6 of them! :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: now we all need alf´s scarf
    Eliza Madrigal: ah, gee....
Bleu Oleander: boxes have more fun!
    Aphrodite Macbain: off
    Eliza Madrigal: hahahah
Alfred Kelberry: can you spot something that's different in me? :) not the scarf :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: the tulip ?
Bleu Oleander: we're all pretty cute!
Alfred Kelberry: i don't hold tulips
Bleu Oleander: ok everyone in the fountain for a group pic
Aphrodite Macbain: we all look a bit different
Eliza Madrigal: ah, boxes don't dance...
Aphrodite Macbain: I decided I couldn't dance if I had boxes on my feet
Yakuzza Lethecus: are we all waterproof boxes ?
Alfred Kelberry: funny how we stand in line :)
Eliza Madrigal: think so.... must be Ya
    --BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: otherwise we will be paper mache soon
Eliza Madrigal: dissolving in the 90 seconds ...
    Alfred Kelberry: omg
    Eliza Madrigal: ouch
Eliza Madrigal: bananas are intense to boxes
    Alfred Kelberry: banana gun?
Eliza Madrigal: i'm already gaining empathy
Alfred Kelberry: haha! great pic, blue :)
    Eliza Madrigal: haha, great
    Eliza Madrigal: popcorn boxes...
Aphrodite Macbain: Oh dear - we've danced through the 90 seconds
    Eliza Madrigal: bibles?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: jep :)
    Bleu Oleander: Yaku :)))
Eliza Madrigal: I stopped handing out bibles years ago...
    Eliza Madrigal: hehehe
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Alfred Kelberry: wow, fancy chairs :)
Eliza Madrigal: cute... and the song
    Eliza Madrigal: OHhh Storm :)
Eliza Madrigal: If I had a hammer....
Alfred Kelberry: so, now you know what happens when everyone has the same av :)
    Alfred Kelberry: storm :)
    Eliza Madrigal: complete chaos?
Eliza Madrigal: with the appearance of order?
    Bleu Oleander: ha! Eliza
Alfred Kelberry: and i think not one of us has lost his "identify" :)
    Alfred Kelberry: hahaha
    Yakuzza Lethecus: don´t burn storm
Aphrodite Macbain: but thank god for the labels above our heads
    Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s dangerous
    Bleu Oleander: true!!
Alfred Kelberry: i think i saw fireworks :)
    Alfred Kelberry: haha
Yakuzza Lethecus: well you could still jump into the water
    Alfred Kelberry: so funny :)
Eliza Madrigal: really love the way you run Alfred
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus dies from laughing....
    Aphrodite Macbain: he he Yaku
    Eliza Madrigal: wow storm.... brilliant

    Eliza Madrigal: haah Aph
Alfred Kelberry: i've heard a nice modern example of oneness from a monk today
    Eliza Madrigal listens...
Alfred Kelberry: he looked at his shirt and asked, how many people have been involved to make it happen :)
