Eliza Madrigal: I know I make comparisons a lot, but in dream circle there is a larger weave... so maybe a sense that one person speaks according to the capacity of the whole to hear/particpate/partake...

Lucinda Lavender: and then it became understandable why I have collected them I guess
Lucinda Lavender: I have had the honor of discussing dream with a child who has experienced death...
Lucinda Lavender: And I dreamed of her before she was born
Eliza Madrigal: oh my
Lucinda Lavender: and she has had now the experience of losing a father as I did as a child...

Archmage Atlantis: In rl, I have died 3 or 4 x
Eliza Madrigal: Oh :( And you were 'ready' to comfort her do you think? familiar with her?

Eliza Madrigal: I've met a few people in life that made my heart leap up like "OH it is YOU!"

Archmage Atlantis: I was clinically dead 3 or 4 times
Archmage Atlantis: After an car wreck, in an ICU, 45 days.......they kept bringining me back

Archmage Atlantis: I thought I had told that story a lot of times.....

Lucinda Lavender: thinking that the experience of near death must open ones eyes to a bigger picture or experience
Archmage Atlantis: My thought......is that it opens the third eye to life

Archmage Atlantis: Not very rational
Lucinda Lavender: would the third eye then be a spiritual eye in particuar?
Archmage Atlantis: I have only feelings in this.....thoughts are not to be trusted
Lucinda Lavender: an eye that notices shifts of consciousness?
Archmage Atlantis: A third eye, yes.......you tear that out of me
Lucinda Lavender: or perhaps notices what is really important
Eliza Madrigal: There is something to be said for these openings I think... Sometimes one has an experience and then it takes years for it to catch up... sort of like the retrospect question
Eliza Madrigal: and for another there is learning and plugging along... nothing really special it seems... but subtle softeness kicks in perhaps :)

Darkeagle Darkstone: My wife made her own for a while, but like the bread maker, it fell by the wayside
Lucinda Lavender: ah..
Lucinda Lavender: has she tried the no knead bread recipe? it has become the favorite here.
Archmage Atlantis: Well, the grocery stores started to have bakeries
Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: and they work well too!
Archmage Atlantis: I have baked bread, made cornbread, and attempted that indian bread with chickpeas in the last month
Darkeagle Darkstone: no we haven't tried those yet. Ill have to look into it

Lucinda Lavender: there is this room with the waterheater in it...and that is where the concoctions are
Lucinda Lavender: bread on the top in its 12-18hour rising
Archmage Atlantis: I wish I could pass them to others.....being without children makes it more difficult......and I am a perfectionist
Lucinda Lavender: maybe in your neighborhood...some wants to learn how to make something that you know how to make...
Lucinda Lavender: met someone today who has collected some stuff a quilt could be made of...but she never gets to making it.

Archmage Atlantis: Odd, quilts are another of my fascinations......but I wish to design them, not make them
Archmage Atlantis: The beauty of the stitching is so beyond me
Lucinda Lavender: I think the computer has inspired much of what gets made in the fermentarium

Darkeagle Darkstone: but quilters would love new designs to play with

Darkeagle Darkstone: true about the computers and it will be interesting to see what happens when we absorb them

Lucinda Lavender: the children I work with will see some interesting things...in their time
Darkeagle Darkstone: it will be happening in multiple ways
Darkeagle Darkstone: we will be building RL HUD systems,
Darkeagle Darkstone: there are bio computers that will be implanted in us, and I will get the memory upgrade my wife thinks I need. I forget why
Lucinda Lavender: I need to go soon but I am curious to read this conversation when I log it. I will have my spelling to fix:)
Darkeagle Darkstone: then there are prosthetics that will become biomechanical upgrades

Lucinda Lavender: my preschoolers get to make robots each year...
Lucinda Lavender: We use old material etc...and anything that looks like buttons and stuff

Lucinda Lavender: I am with preschool
Darkeagle Darkstone: That is a great way to get them started on preparing for their future

Darkeagle Darkstone: I teach computer science
Lucinda Lavender: they get to write stories about their guy that they build
Lucinda Lavender: ah
Darkeagle Darkstone: that sounds like a fun class
Lucinda Lavender: they just got finished learning to take stuff apart
Darkeagle Darkstone: most of our world leaders need to go back to preschool
Lucinda Lavender: with screw guns etc...clippers (I was still talking about the preschoolers here...not the world leaders)
