2010.11.16 19:00 - Naked Awareness

The Guardian for this meeting was Eos Amaterasu. The comments are by Eos Amaterasu.

    Eos Amaterasu: HI Rhiannon
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi Eos
Rhiannon Dragoone: They say 3rd time's the charm; i'm back a 3rd time.
Eos Amaterasu: ah - was going to ask if you'd been here before
Rhiannon Dragoone: First time i came in on the tail end; second time, i was on a text only client and was stuck in the fountain, was asked to sit or leave
Eos Amaterasu: turning time into charm is definitely the trick!
Rhiannon Dragoone: Couldn't sit, so i left
    Eos Amaterasu: ?
Rhiannon Dragoone: They thought i was too distracting in the fountain
Eos Amaterasu: you have no clothes on :-)
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Eos, that's right
Eos Amaterasu: venus coming out of the clamshell
Rhiannon Dragoone: yeah, and blocking everyone's view, so they began talking about me rather than the subject
Rhiannon Dragoone: Which was dropping pretense
    Eos Amaterasu: dropping pre-tensing....
Eos Amaterasu: so we can just relax
Eos Amaterasu: I guess the idea of doing a 90 second pause every 15 minutes here is to have at least that okay to just relax
    Eos Amaterasu: HI Bertram!
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi Bertram
Bertram Jacobus: hi sry - i only try to bring someone ...
Eos Amaterasu: Rhiannon, would you like to suggest or try a way to approach the upcoming (n 3 minutes) 90 seconds?
Rhiannon Dragoone: well, i was hoping there would be more ppl and somebody else would suggest; i have my own discussions and like to see what others are thinking when i go eslewhere
Eos Amaterasu: okay... how about "be completely open to whatever happens" as the suggestion for the next 90 secs?
    Rhiannon Dragoone: sure

    --BELL--

Eos Amaterasu: 90 seconds can be surprisingly long!
Rhiannon Dragoone: Are the evening meetings always this deserted?
Eos Amaterasu: No... it's been a bit more deserted lately, but in general there are usually several people
Eos Amaterasu: there was only once when I was the only one there for the whole hour
Rhiannon Dragoone: There were 11 on the day that i was asked to leave
Eos Amaterasu: What brought you to PaB?
Rhiannon Dragoone: Well, a friend of mine is a refugee from Philosophy Island, where the discussions are often riddled with insults and obnoxious behavior. I recently got banned from that; place; he tp'd me here. Tht was the discussion that i was at the tail end of; but he said the topics were often deep, so I thought I'd give it a chance
Rhiannon Dragoone: i like respectful discussions too
Eos Amaterasu: I've never been to Philosophy Island
Eos Amaterasu: (sounds like one of the Adventures of Tintin :-)
Rhiannon Dragoone: not familiar with that
Eos Amaterasu: I think what Play as Being is mainly about is actually playing, or playing at being actual: actually seizing the moment of your being here and saying, huh?
Rhiannon Dragoone: Well, it had promise, but their speakers program collapsed and their Commons is rowdy
Rhiannon Dragoone: not sure I follow
Eos Amaterasu: the 90 seconds are like little lab sessions, where you actually _experience_, first hand,
Eos Amaterasu: and wonder who's experiencing :-)
    Eos Amaterasu: first hand
Eos Amaterasu: that's kind of philosophical, but the little lab sessions are the key
Eos Amaterasu: you are playing at being naked?
Rhiannon Dragoone: yes, i'm not really naked atm, but i hve worked as a nude dancer
Rhiannon Dragoone: So i could be...
Eos Amaterasu thinks of naked awareness...
Eos Amaterasu: is your awareness different when you are naked?
Eos Amaterasu: is it more naked as well?
Rhiannon Dragoone: yes, your awareness is more keen, cuz of your sense of vulnerability and of the knowlege that you reaaly, in a sense, exist at the pleasure of others
Rhiannon Dragoone: I had the opposite expereince though just recently.
Rhiannon Dragoone: I belong to this naturist church, and friends of mine, clothed ones, came
Rhiannon Dragoone: But one had a titler and one was in a demon avi, and they didn't want them to stay; just like i get kicked out of churches normally here in SL, they were asked to leave my church

    --BELL--

Eos Amaterasu: We create these social circles with certain kinds of circulation and ways of being within them....
Rhiannon Dragoone: well, i think i'll be going
Rhiannon Dragoone: 3rd time wasn't a charm, no one here, but thanks for having me
Eos Amaterasu: okay, thanks Rhiannon, have a good evening (or whatever part of day)
    Rhiannon Dragoone: u 2
