The Guardian for this meeting was Eden Haiku. The comments are by Eden Haiku. This was our last Being Theme session on Monday morning and it took a while to warm up. The session went on for a long time after we opened the floor for free discussion. Many avatars showed up: Botty, Avatar, Sartre (briefly) druth, Zen, Sunshine, Bruce, ****, Alfred and, later, Lugh, Bertram, Aphrodite and Satia.

Rave power particle effect as we open the floor at the end of our last Circle of Being

Alt of Being and magic circles of delusions

    Botty Absent: good morning, eden
Eden Haiku: Hello Botty, good morning.
Eden Haiku: I think I know who you are...:)
    Botty Absent: :)
Botty Absent: some secrets are out now
    Eden Haiku: Some are :)
Botty Absent: does that change anything?
    Eden Haiku: Thinking...
Botty Absent: some ppl still did not reveal their alts
Botty Absent: and I completely lost track of who was whom
Eden Haiku: Yes, I was hoping for some great revelation day ;)

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: Maybe we are only 10 guardians or so ?
Botty Absent: what revelations came, did so at too fast a rate to take in
Eden Haiku: That would explain the difficulty in raising donations :(
Botty Absent: the analogy comes to me like reading 17 novels at the same time
Botty Absent: and all the endings get confused
Eden Haiku: Yes, the Alt of Being session (the expression is now trending thanks to a typo by Zen I think, thanks Zen!)
    Avatar Scorpio: hey Eden Botty
    Avatar Scorpio: hey Yaku
Botty Absent: 2 butlers, a maid, the husband, a passing criminal and samantha did it
Eden Haiku: Hello Avatar (Bleu) and Yaku.
Eden Haiku: Yes, Alt of Being was a Clue game!
Botty Absent: Hello Yaku and Av
Avatar Scorpio: the alt somehow loses it's power when you know who it is :)
Botty Absent: Yaku, was it too late for you to be there yesterday
Botty Absent: or were you in an alt?
Eden Haiku: It's funny how "Bleu" has more authority/credibility than Avatar has in my eyes at least. I was seeing Avatar for the first time yesterday. Has he been around?
Avatar Scorpio: yes, he's come to PaB a few time
Avatar Scorpio: but yes, Bleu seems to push him around :)
Botty Absent: this is a no pushing area :)
    Avatar Scorpio: ha!
Eden Haiku: There is an aggregation of experience, common experience, things shared around our primary avatar's name I suppose that makes everything smooth and comfy.
Avatar Scorpio: I found people talk to the girls more than the guys
Yakuzza Lethecus: no it wasn't too late usually, but i had an oppointment with a friend then later
Botty Absent: bet it was not a superbowl party
Yakuzza Lethecus: no, definetivly not the superbowl :)
Eden Haiku: It was amazing for me to lose one delusion I was living into (I call my delusions "magic circles" these days)
Botty Absent: much of the US was at parties
    Botty Absent: good call
    Avatar Scorpio: I wasn't either
    Botty Absent: which delusion?
    Avatar Scorpio: hey Sartre
    Botty Absent: Hello Sartre
    Sartre Placebo: bonsoir
Eden Haiku: I lived in a delusional magic circle that behind each guardian was a real person. I suspected a few exceptions and that made me ill at ease. But the whole experiment just opened my magic circle and now the bunny is free to leap into real circle...
    Botty Absent: Hello Druth
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello druth
Avatar Scorpio: fun yesterday to see so many alts

Clearing my throat, I start our Being Theme session which is going to be our last.

Eden Haiku: So, this our last Being Theme sessions.
    druth Vlodovic: hi guys
    Avatar Scorpio: hi druth
    Eden Haiku: Hi druth
Sartre Placebo: we are condemned to BE
Eden Haiku: We will take a moment of silence to gather our thoughts.
    Botty Absent: :)
Eden Haiku: What is our experience of Play as Being now? Who would like to start?

    [silence]

    EDEN

    Eden Haiku: I will then.
Eden Haiku: I'm enjoying the silence
Eden Haiku: I'm enjoying knowing who you are
Eden Haiku: I'm in the magic circle of
Eden Haiku: of thinking I'm knowing who you are

    --BELL--

    [silence]

Eden Haiku: Some bits of information gathered in a year or so
Eden Haiku: for some of you, much less for others
Eden Haiku: but thanks for yesterday's Art of Being Self session
Eden Haiku: I'm now aware this is the magic circle of my delusional self
Eden Haiku: and I feel much much less secure than what I use to feel
Eden Haiku: so this is good
    Eden Haiku: shaking me up
Eden Haiku: showing me the "cut", the crack in everything
Eden Haiku: a glimpse of Being
Eden Haiku: thank you Bleu for creating this, Avatar for helping her, and Storm for organizing the dome and all others who helped
Eden Haiku: Done... Your turn Avatar ?

Enters Zen, whom I will inform  in IM about the circle

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey zen

    AVATAR

Avatar Scorpio: speaking for both of us ... yw! Eden
    Avatar Scorpio: ty
Avatar Scorpio: I read an interesting book a while back
    Zen Arado: hi all
Avatar Scorpio: and this line stuck with me
Avatar Scorpio: persons are dynamic singularities. We are places where something is happening. We are wide.
Avatar Scorpio: this project of playing with self has shown me how wide we are
    Avatar Scorpio: done

Enters Sunshine…then Bruce: I also IM them about the circle

    Sunshine Vayandar: hi there ;)
    Avatar Scorpio: hi sun
    Yakuzza Lethecus: jo dim
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi sun
Botty Absent whispers Hi Sun and Zen. we are going around the circle
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm ok ty ;)
    Avatar Scorpio: hi Bruce
    Zen Arado: Hi Bruce
Botty Absent whispers (again) hi bruce we are sharing around the being circle
    Bruce Mowbray: Good day, everyone.
    Bruce Mowbray: ty.
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Bruce ;)
Botty Absent: Av or Yak turn ( I think)
Avatar Scorpio: I'm done ... Yaku?

    Eden Haiku: Yaku?

    YAKUZZA

Yakuzza Lethecus: being here, being stuck, being hungry, being confused
    Eden Haiku: ;)
Yakuzza Lethecus: many elements belong to being, still what's of worth to mention ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: what's worth to share when nothing feels special or is everything special ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: should being mean appreciation of "what is" and not asking too many questions ? :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, that's just what went through my head
Yakuzza Lethecus: i give over to zen :)

    ZEN

    Zen Arado: ty Yaku
Zen Arado: I am listening to an audible book by Pema Chodron atm on 'Getting Unstuck'
Zen Arado: it is worth listening to a few times
Zen Arado: about Shenpa and stuff like that

    --BELL--

    [silence]

Zen Arado: was thinking the theme project showed me my gender 'stuckness'
    Sunshine Vayandar: brb
Zen Arado: but am wondering how far to go with that
Zen Arado: I met a nice woman last week and we have become good friends
Zen Arado: but.....she likes Jan better than me......
    Zen Arado: hmmmmmmm
Zen Arado: might need some advice..
    Eden Haiku: ;)
    Zen Arado: done

    BRUCE

    Bruce Mowbray: my turn?
    Eden Haiku: Ty Zen. Bruce?
    Sunshine Vayandar: back
    Bruce Mowbray: ok.
Bruce Mowbray: Ever since yesterday's Art as Being project and also Calvino's pavilion session on poetry,
Bruce Mowbray: I have been "devouring" something that Pema sent to me in email. . .
Bruce Mowbray: It is a form of meditation ---
Bruce Mowbray: derived from the book TSK -- but it is also
Bruce Mowbray: particularized. . . . (Hmmmmm.... How to say all of this....)?
Bruce Mowbray: Anyway, it involves "Feeding time back into time...."
Bruce Mowbray: I want to share the exact words that Pema's email gave me now:
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, feeding time back into time can be a life long practice. How about just sitting for five minutes, quietly, with either eyes open or closed, letting anything appear, sounds, memories, fantasies, whatever phenomena. And with each phenomena, you just register that it came up: a sound, a thought, and as soon as you have registered it, you feed it back into time -- and the more you try to do so, the more you will get new ways of doing so, new forms of sense and feel and intuition. So you're like a doorman, an usher; or a stoker for a steam engine. You just pass on what shows up, letting it enter the room, feeding it into the furnace of time; whatever image helps.
Bruce Mowbray: So, when I followed Pema's method,
Bruce Mowbray: the "image" that "worked" for me was one of kneading bread. . .
Bruce Mowbray: bending and moving the bread back into itself --
    Bruce Mowbray: over and over.

[New arrivals interrupts Bruce. **** tells me in IM that druth brought him at the pavilion, that she will explain everything to him. I never got to the permission part…Then, enters our dear little boxy. I grayed out the greetings in the middle of his pitch.]

****: thank you eden.. and hello all..
    ****: just need to rezz..
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi ****
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello ****
    Eden Haiku: druth?
    Avatar Scorpio: hi ****
    Alfred Kelberry: hi :)

Bruce Mowbray: I only offer this now because it has brought an almost unspeakable enrichment to being. . . .

    Avatar Scorpio: hi boxy
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Boxy ;)

Bruce Mowbray: and that's all I have to say for now.
    Bruce Mowbray: Thank you.
    Bruce Mowbray: [done]

    Zen Arado: Hi ****, Boxy
    Alfred Kelberry: "unspeakable enrichment" :)
Botty Absent whispers hi ****and alf we are going around the circle

    DRUTH

druth Vlodovic: it's the old question of "what am I?" i guess
Eden Haiku: Will be feeding **** in IM. Please druth, go ahead...
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, ok
druth Vlodovic: what am I in the world
druth Vlodovic: and I hear people talking about trying to be other than themselves
druth Vlodovic: but I'm not sure it is possible
druth Vlodovic: since anything you try to be, or pretend to be is just you
druth Vlodovic: lol, sorry, I'm not very coherent today
druth Vlodovic: I'll just pass on :)
    Botty Absent: thank you

    Eden Haiku: Thank you druth.

    BOTTY

Botty Absent: we were chatting about the art project
Botty Absent: bam. Eden says "Gather thoughts"
Sunshine Vayandar: the art project or play as being
    Eden Haiku: :)
Botty Absent: like all those other bells that ring every 15 min
Botty Absent: I go off to other
    Botty Absent: gather thoughts
Botty Absent: like strolling through the fields of thought flowers
Botty Absent: picking thought flowers, thought threads
    Botty Absent: little threads
Botty Absent: of some big place
Botty Absent: nano threads that stick together to make tubes that reach to the moon
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Botty Absent: itty bitty threads that make the universe
Botty Absent: billions or atoms. billions of stars
    Botty Absent: all the same

    --BELL--

Botty Absent: bam - gong the bell gongs
    Botty Absent: Botty's mind explodes
    Botty Absent: is all
Botty Absent: and all I can say now
    Botty Absent: any body? else

    SUNSHINE

    Eden Haiku: Ty Botty. Sunshine?
    Sunshine Vayandar: my turn?
    Sunshine Vayandar: ok
Sunshine Vayandar: So I am gonna talk about PaB if that is ok ;)
    Eden Haiku: sure
Sunshine Vayandar: I am still very new - and seems to be the only zulu here
    Eden Haiku: ;)
    Sunshine Vayandar: lots of confusion
Sunshine Vayandar: but I really enjoy it
Sunshine Vayandar: I could say so many things but it would go on forever I think
Sunshine Vayandar: I have always been wondering how a folksong happens
Sunshine Vayandar: this is what I learn here
Sunshine Vayandar: something is born and carries on and on
    Sunshine Vayandar: like jazz
    Sunshine Vayandar: hmm done

    Botty Absent: :)
Eden Haiku: Thank you. Alfred would you have anything to share about Play as Being now for you?
Alfred Kelberry: i do every day :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)

Eden Haiku: ****, would you like to introduce yourself to the group before we open the floor to general discussion?
****: hm.. a traveller.. of minds ..thoughts and places.. still exploring..:)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eden Haiku: Thank you **** and welcome to Play as Being :)Sunshine Vayandar: *:• •:*.-:¦:- -:¦:-.•:*¨¨*:• YAYYY *:• •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- -:¦:-.¨¨*:•

Celebrating the closing of our last Circle of Being, I send rays of rainbow lights [A Burning Life gift from  last year called "rave power particle effect"]

    Alfred Kelberry: wee!

    Botty Absent: ah, thank you

Alfred Kelberry: eden is glowing :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Thank you all.
Botty Absent: I think we see the light
Eden Haiku: Thank you all for participating to these Being Theme sessions.
Bruce Mowbray: I have a RL obligation to "be" with now.
Bruce Mowbray: May all be happy today.

    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)

Masks, pretenses and playing a part

Eden Haiku: I know what you mean Sunshine.
Alfred Kelberry: eden, i only see a little skirt on you :)
Botty Absent: a well dressed Yakuzza
Zen Arado: something druth said struck me
Eden Haiku: I do feel more stage fright in SL poetry readings then in RL poetry readings...
Sunshine Vayandar: I have to give a workshop at the university on Thursday and have to look clever hmm
Zen Arado: I wonder how much of role playing I am doing is pretense?
    Alfred Kelberry: eden, interesting
    ****: lol.. i have a failbe for old japan..samurai
Sunshine Vayandar: when I play music I don't have problems usually
Zen Arado: that Bolero was fantastic Sun
    Alfred Kelberry: go ahead, sun!!
Sunshine Vayandar: Yay Zen u liked?
Eden Haiku: Ah, but giving a workshop is different yes...Sunshine...
    Sunshine Vayandar: lol Boxy
druth Vlodovic: "give a man a mask and he will tell you the truth"
    Alfred Kelberry: druth?
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Alfred Kelberry: how's that?
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm is Botty an alt?
Eden Haiku: You do not se my black t-shirt and leggings Alf? Did I lose them wearing my "rave power particle effect"?
druth Vlodovic: it's a quote, I wish I remembered who from
Sunshine Vayandar: everybody is a cloud to me
Alfred Kelberry: i see a few grey figures :)
Sunshine Vayandar: I see boxy well yay
Zen Arado: well this place is all pretense in a way
Alfred Kelberry: eden, no, all grey to me :)
druth Vlodovic: everyone covers themselves in proportion to their exposure
Eden Haiku: Your world is still rezzing Alfie. You are in limbo :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: pretense?
Zen Arado: we are playing a part
    Sunshine Vayandar: which part
    Zen Arado: I mean
Alfred Kelberry: i don't get this mask quote, druth
Zen Arado: I am playing as Zen
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes
Zen Arado: but I don't think I have a 'fixed me' any more
Sunshine Vayandar: and I play a zulu
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;p
Botty Absent: playing as a zen playing as being
druth Vlodovic: well, the idea, I think, is that hiding is a defensive response
Sunshine Vayandar: I am learning a lot here
Eden Haiku: You live in South Africa Sunshine but you aren't a Zulu are you?
Sunshine Vayandar: hiding behind a mask
druth Vlodovic: so if you reduce the need for defense then you become more yourself
    Sunshine Vayandar: no I'm not
Zen Arado: think it is more like exposing Druth :)
Sunshine Vayandar: I am playing zulu
    Sunshine Vayandar: hehe
    Eden Haiku: I see :)
Alfred Kelberry: she also plays violin :)
Sunshine Vayandar: My friends decided to call me the white zulu
Eden Haiku: Were you raised in South Africa?
Botty Absent: it is so hard to count the number of parts we play
Sunshine Vayandar: because I am usually the only white person among many black people

    --BELL--

[this bell we did trampled on…should get these fireworks shooted to calm us down…]

From playing a part and Sunshine "playing zulu", the conversation shifts to Africa: the Maasai learning to sell their beadwork on ebay, satellite connections, cell phones and revolutions

Eden Haiku: It is a riddle...
Botty Absent: my son just came back from being the only white kid among the Maasai
    Sunshine Vayandar: wow
Zen Arado: by letting go of my old fixed views of who I am I am finding aspects I never suspected existed
Alfred Kelberry: botty, he's back from africa?
Botty Absent: yes, couple months ago
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm can u tell me more about it?
    Alfred Kelberry: neat
Botty Absent: is going back in the summer
Alfred Kelberry: what did he do there?
Eden Haiku: To see Riddle's son?
Botty Absent: ha, brought the internet to the Maasai
    Sunshine Vayandar: really
    Zen Arado: great
    Eden Haiku: Neat!
Sunshine Vayandar: and how long did he stay
Alfred Kelberry: what? riddle's son is a maasai?
Zen Arado: they'll be on SL soon then
Botty Absent: 8 laptops and wireless
Sunshine Vayandar: yay he is a masai
Eden Haiku: Riddle has many many children, of all colors :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
Botty Absent: no my son is a weird kid who is going to save the world
Alfred Kelberry: oh, fruitful elephant :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Botty Absent: :))
Zen Arado: nothing weird about that :)
Sunshine Vayandar: he is an elephant?
    Sunshine Vayandar: or masai
Alfred Kelberry: botty, what organisation he's working with?
Zen Arado: it needs saving badly
druth Vlodovic: g2g, have fun all :)
Eden Haiku: It's wonderful knowing Africa will be connected too.
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye druth
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Sunshine Vayandar: byebye druth
Eden Haiku: More revolutions will flower :)
****: thank you for having me here.. i'll be back take care all of you..
    Zen Arado: bye Druth
    Eden Haiku: More freedom.
    Botty Absent: bye
Sunshine Vayandar: take care **** ;) nice to meet you
Eden Haiku: Bye druth and ****
Alfred Kelberry: or is he saving the world on his own?
    Zen Arado: bye ****
Sunshine Vayandar: he must be an amazing kid
    Sunshine Vayandar: or elephant
Botty Absent: son, is with Prescott college (arizona) right now
Alfred Kelberry: sun, no, elephant is riddle's av :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: I thought so
    Sunshine Vayandar: :p
Botty Absent: he thinks the peace corps is toooo organized
    Sunshine Vayandar: I agree
Alfred Kelberry: ah, he's gone there with the peace corp?
Eden Haiku: Africa is the least connected continent now isn't it?
    Sunshine Vayandar: not sure
    Sunshine Vayandar: of the stats
Eden Haiku: Heard that years ago by a cyberspace specialist. Might have changed.
Sunshine Vayandar: we have a long way to go still
Botty Absent: no, is doing senior project to get Maasai to sell their beadwork directly thru eBay
Zen Arado: the distances involved are so great
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes Zen
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, cool
Zen Arado: they have to use satellites I think
Eden Haiku: But it would make sense. Apart from South Africa and the Maghreb, most countries are rather poor.
Botty Absent: more cell phones there then radios
Sunshine Vayandar: have they started selling beads?
Alfred Kelberry: i hope ebay doesn't block africa
Botty Absent: not yet selling. working on getting some shipping nightmares worked out
Sunshine Vayandar: ah yes - I have been doing that with my artist friend here
Zen Arado: Kenya got a new cable link I remember seeing
Sunshine Vayandar: now she is selling to Germany
    Zen Arado: on a prog
Sunshine Vayandar: I think Kenya is getting on well
Eden Haiku: This planet is a village.
    Botty Absent: yes
Sunshine Vayandar: there is a big Nigerian community also
Alfred Kelberry: you're heating up, eden :)
Zen Arado: a young guy befriended me from Uganda on Facebook
    Botty Absent: eden glows
Eden Haiku: It is so nice to have someone from Africa here at PaB now that you are part of our sessions Sunshine.
Sunshine Vayandar: yay she is feeling warm from this side
Sunshine Vayandar: I am very happy to be here ;)
    Alfred Kelberry: wee!
Zen Arado: I joined that group CARP
Sunshine Vayandar: somehow I am fitting ok
Zen Arado: or Jan did anyway :)
Sunshine Vayandar: yes it's good to see what they are doing at CARP
    Sunshine Vayandar: hehe
Zen Arado: so hope to be back there
Sunshine Vayandar: my alts name is Sun lol
Sunshine Vayandar: I was wondering .... how I can become a guardian
Sunshine Vayandar: last time the answer was - "it happens"
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;p
Eden Haiku: Let me give you an aura you can tint green to fit with your beautiful medieval green dress Botty. No ebay needed for that :)
Zen Arado: they usually ask you after a while - don't worry
Sunshine Vayandar: hehe ok Zen ;)
Zen Arado: if you hang around long enough
Zen Arado: and behave yourself :)
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm ok I will try

    Play as playing

    Sunny old man.jpg

Lugh as a wise sunny old man full of "knollage"

Alfred Kelberry: yes, you can't say bad words
    Eden Haiku: :)
Alfred Kelberry: like shit or something
    Sunshine Vayandar: I never swear
Zen Arado: or maybe if you don't behave yourself :)
    Eden Haiku: Lugh!
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Lugh ;)
Eden Haiku: Nice to see you again :)
    Lugh Fehr: :)
    Zen Arado: Hi Lugh
    Alfred Kelberry: lugh the acid!
Eden Haiku: Another nice look. The sunshine flower?
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Alfred Kelberry: sun? will you play some violin? :)
Sunshine Vayandar: your beard should be yellow too
    Lugh Fehr: sunshine sunshine reggae
Alfred Kelberry: zen could chant :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: lalalaaa
Zen Arado: I got one for my iPhone

    --BELL--

Alfred Kelberry: eden could sing beautifully in french
    Sunshine Vayandar: really ;)
Alfred Kelberry: you have to sync it properly :)
Alfred Kelberry: otherwise it isn't pretty
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eden Haiku: Trying to sing in French but microphone doesn't seem to work...
    Sunshine Vayandar: :(
    Lugh Fehr: hmm :(
Sunshine Vayandar: are you sure you pushed "talk"
    Sunshine Vayandar: that little lock
    Eden Haiku: Yes...
    Sunshine Vayandar: hmm
Sunshine Vayandar: it would be so nice
Zen Arado: Eden has a nice voice
    Zen Arado: so French

After solving some technical glitch, I do sing in voice chat a few measures of "La vie en rose" by Edith Piaf

    Sunshine Vayandar: *:• •:*.-:¦:- -:¦:-.•:*¨¨*:• YAYYY *:• •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- -:¦:-.¨¨*:•
    Botty Absent: ah
    Sunshine Vayandar: wow ;)
    Lugh Fehr: :)
Alfred Kelberry: oh! eden is singing! :)
Alfred Kelberry: ok, how do we know she isn't just making up words? :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Lugh Fehr: :)
    Zen Arado: Eden takes lessons
    Lugh Fehr: wonderful!
Zen Arado: who was it from Eden?
Botty Absent: beautiful. thank you eden
Eden Haiku: Hey hey maybe I'm making up words... Sorry, didn't have my headset on so it's just from built-in microphone :)
    Zen Arado: yes beautiful
Eden Haiku: Was singing "La vie en rose"
    Alfred Kelberry: yay!
    Alfred Kelberry: :)

Sunshine has a very good ear: she now plays "La vie en rose" on her violin…

Botty Absent: ah, same song Sun
    Lugh Fehr: :)
    Zen Arado: great
Eden Haiku: Saw the "Yacoubian building" on Netflix recently.
Eden Haiku: takes place in Cairo

    Zen Arado: pour communiquer
Sunshine Vayandar: egy ketto harom, macska ul az agon
Lugh Fehr: in a 1000 years i think we would be the same again 1 language

Sunshine Vayandar: can't we be now?
Zen Arado: mandarin is very difficult
Sunshine Vayandar: in SA there are 11 official languages
    Zen Arado: all those tones
Sunshine Vayandar: my aunty teaches mandarin
Eden Haiku: It's funny how mischievous we can feel just lapsing into foreign languages here at PaB.
    Sunshine Vayandar: in hungary

Eden Haiku: While recording everything in vehicular English.

    Zen Arado: but am struggling
Sunshine Vayandar: if you see my blog at szavanna.co.za - it's a collection of songs
Sunshine Vayandar: they are all in many different languages that I often don't understand
Zen Arado: my memory is too bad to retain the vocabulary
Eden Haiku: I love reading parts of logs in German or in Dutch, even if I don't understand. It looks so mysterious.
Sunshine Vayandar: but I love how it sounds and don't worry about the meaning mostly
Yakuzza Lethecus: Sun do you think dutch ppl understand afrikaans ?

    --BELL--

Alfred Kelberry: what looks really mysterious is icelandic :)
Lugh Fehr: how come we have so many totally diff languages is the world that big?
Sunshine Vayandar: yes we understand each other with the Dutch
Sunshine Vayandar: they find it funny
Eden Haiku: Very interesting question Lugh.
    Zen Arado: Afrikanns
Eden Haiku: In fact, every language opens up to a different reality, slightly different sometimes. but it is a peek in another world isn'it?
Zen Arado: "Fly bird, fly, fly to Menas'g (hungarian region) Sit on the shoulder of my sweetheart. Take my letter, bird, and carry it to my father and my mother and to my promised spouse. If they ask you how I am tell them I am a prisoner in the prison of love I'm knee deep in iron. Tell her, It was me who sent you Then say that I am a prisoner, In a foreign prison I'm knee-deep in iron. Fly bird, fly, fly to Menas'g (hungarian region) Sit on the shoulder of my sweetheart. You're a prisoner my rose While I am ill When you come to me I'll be healed."

Leaving at that point, I won't comment further, but from what I read, there seems to be a lot of music playing and quite a bit of traffic: avatars leaving, avatars coming in the pavilion. Also a part involving a lot of teasing and some male strip-tease I believe but hey, I wasn't there, so maybe I'm just imagining things.

druth Vlodovic: "atoning for education" is ignorance bliss? is balance compromise? alfred and I need boxing gloves :)
