    Sunshine Vayandar: omg
Sunshine Vayandar: that would be so nice
Eden Haiku: That would be tremendous!
    Sunshine Vayandar: just imagine
    Sunshine Vayandar: mmmmm ;)
Eden Haiku: Angelic yes, without my wings :)
Sunshine Vayandar: in case u need wings
Sunshine Vayandar: though u look prefect

Sunshine Vayandar: there is a song with that title
Sunshine Vayandar: by my favourite band here
    Sunshine Vayandar: in SA
Eden Haiku: in RL, I'm bundled up. I was too hot in my office yesterday night and turned the heat off. And now, wow, it's cold.

    Eliza Madrigal: sad, Ya?
Yakuzza Lethecus: well not that sad

Sunshine Vayandar: it's never easy to say goodbyes
Eden Haiku: Oh, sad in a good way then...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Longing to see the person again?
Eliza Madrigal: sweet sting of attachment
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yes :)

    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Eden Haiku: whispering:
Eden Haiku: "Today is Eliza second year with PaB!"

Eliza Madrigal: really great outfit btw Bleu :)

    Bleu in red.jpg

Bleu in her outstanding Eshi outfit

    Sunshine Vayandar: second year?
Eliza Madrigal: and Eden and Sun emanating love vibes...
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eden Haiku: Yes, Eliza walked in here on February 14th 2009!
Bleu Oleander: oh thanks Eliza ... Eshi :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: wow really
Eliza Madrigal: Yes :D Two years ago today I happened upon PaB
Bleu Oleander: two years for me too [missed that Bleu, sorry]
    Sunshine Vayandar: 2009
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eden Haiku: She is an elder, a young wise woman of our tribe :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: *:• •:*.-:¦:- -:¦:-.•:*¨¨*:• YAYYY *:• •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- -:¦:-.¨¨*:•
Sunshine Vayandar: yes she is an elder ;)
Eliza Madrigal: thanks, yes I feel quite wonderful about it... 2 years seems a blip
Eliza Madrigal: For you as well Bleu?
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Sunshine Vayandar: we are in the presence of tribe elders ;)
Eliza Madrigal: I was hardly a meditator then either... just thought it was a good idea to pay attention to breath, etc
Eden Haiku: Still is isn't it?
    Eden Haiku: Hopefully...:)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: yes :)
Sunshine Vayandar: SL is really a unique environment to learn in

Another level of clarity emerging in a dream

Eliza on her 2nd Pab anniversary.jpg

Eliza celebrating her 2nd PaB anniversary on Valentine day

Eden Haiku: Would you have a word of wisdom for us this morning dearest Eliza? What has been the highlight of these two years at the fountain of Youth?
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
Eliza Madrigal: Hm.... ::::digs through wisdom box:::::
Eden Haiku: peeking into Eliza's box
Eliza Madrigal: Highlights are of course Friend Treasures
Sunshine Vayandar settles down to listen
Eden Haiku: looking at Bleu's outstanding Eshi outfit
    Bleu Oleander: :))
Eliza Madrigal: I'm honest to Goodness *astounded* to have happened upon heart friends
Eliza Madrigal: we meet in a different sort of place
Eliza Madrigal: aside from the created one here
Eliza Madrigal: and learn to see in new ways
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eliza Madrigal: but anyway... not so eloquent this morning, just happy :)
Eden Haiku: How nice to see in new ways...
Eliza Madrigal: Last year at the 1st anniversary I had a dream... a special one ....
    Eden Haiku: Oh!
Eliza Madrigal: Night before last I had another....
    Sunshine Vayandar: really ;)
    Eden Haiku: Were they connected?
Eliza Madrigal: I think very much so....
    Eden Haiku: all ears:::
Eliza Madrigal: I'm trying to figure out how to describe... hm...
Eliza Madrigal: and to do so in a concise way :D
    Eden Haiku: take your time
Eden Haiku: I'n warming up with coffee
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe, thanks
Eliza Madrigal: OK- Last year'd dream I was looking into a pool
Sunshine Vayandar: brb making coffee too
Eliza Madrigal: and lots of stories and dream images were floating up and I was sorting through them... until it became clearer.. and a sort of thick, clear, droplet floated up....
Eden Haiku: I'm still here, coffee is being brought to my desk by Valentine himself :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eliza Madrigal: OOOO :::stomps down jealousy:::::
    Eden Haiku: droplet?
    Sunshine Vayandar: l(
    Sunshine Vayandar: ops ;)
Eliza Madrigal: yes… it was like a clear clear smooth stone
Eliza Madrigal: glass sort of but more silvery, if that makes sense
    Eden Haiku: mercury?
Eliza Madrigal: and I wondered at it... everything felt very lucid.... then I read (which some say you can't do in dreams)
    Eliza Madrigal: "sacred news"
    Eden Haiku: Wow!
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Druth! Happy Valentines Day
Eden Haiku: I do read in dreams, it happens :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi druth
    Eden Haiku: Hi druth
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
    druth Vlodovic: happy valentines :)

    "May confusion dawn as wisdom"

Eliza Madrigal: So... to me it was very clear that another level of clarity was emerging
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Druth ;)
Eliza Madrigal: and so it was personal, but it seemed relevant that it was on my pab anniversary too...
Eden Haiku: Was this the recent dream or the first one?
    Bleu Oleander: lovely Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: That was last years
Eliza Madrigal: Night before last I dreamt that I gave birth to a baby.... lots of confusion about what to name her....
Eliza Madrigal: and I decided Sophia :) (wisdom)
Eden Haiku: Ah! and did it felt like more clarity during this last year?
Bertram Jacobus: good morning america ! hello europe ! (and africa) ! ... :-)
    Eden Haiku: Hello Bertram!
    Bleu Oleander: hi Bert
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Germany ;)
Eden Haiku: Sophia :) Lovely child!
    Eliza Madrigal: Hiya Bert :)
Eliza Madrigal: And this felt significant because I've been thinking of these 'four lines of gampopa'
Eliza Madrigal: the last line is "May confusion dawn as wisdom"
    Eden Haiku: :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) So, that's it, thanks for letting me share
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Bertram Jacobus: wow - gampopa ! :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: It is so beautiful to hear dreams, I love that. Thank you for sharing Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: thanks... these are pab dreams to me... they frame the way I view practice here to an extent, I think
    Eliza Madrigal: and time
Sunshine Vayandar: it is very beautiful - to hear Eliza's dreams ;)
Eliza Madrigal: I love to hear dreams from others, too, but I think people hesitate sometimes because we feel we are sharing home movies, hehe

    "The freudian confabulation"

Eden Haiku: I'm reading a book by a French controversial philosopher who is, how can I say that?
Eden Haiku: home movies hehe I dreamt about monkeys and cats last night :)
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Eden Haiku: Michel Onfray he is called

    [adding a link: http://bit.ly/gX7fzX ]

Bleu Oleander: ah, how is his book?
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, did he have discussions with um...
Bertram Jacobus: i mostly don't remember my dreams, sry ...
Eden Haiku: he is helping, so to stay, Sigmund Freud to step down from his throne
Sunshine Vayandar: I don't remember my dream - stayed up late to attend last retreat meeting and then fell into bed
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: It is so utterly funny to see him dismantle the statue.
    Eliza Madrigal: how so?
Eden Haiku: Discussions no, he is contemporary.
Eliza Madrigal: ah... okay... there was another book recently popular... two french philosophers at different angles ... one infamous misanthrope
Eden Haiku: Well it seems (but just half way thru the book) that Freud created his whole theory mainly from his own autobiography
Eden Haiku: Not so scientific as he claimed
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: he shot the arrow then painted the target
    Eden Haiku: Well said !
    druth Vlodovic: zen archery :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Bertram Jacobus: lol
Eliza Madrigal: we discussed that "skill" here last week some time...
    Eliza Madrigal: seems fitting :D
Eden Haiku: I never worshipped Freud but I have friends who did.
Eliza Madrigal: I find him a flawed figure with amazing blindspots
Eliza Madrigal: who has brilliant spots too
Eden Haiku: I always had a feeling he was talking about himself...
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: especially seemingly little empathy for women
druth Vlodovic: he had the courage to make the attempt
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Bertram Jacobus: hi zen ! :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Zen :)
druth Vlodovic: and to reveal darker things about people
    Bertram Jacobus: oops - disappeared
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Zen :)
Eden Haiku: But he is a good writer :) His book about the Gradiva, so many things he wrote were brilliant.
Bertram Jacobus: opps here again - hi zen ! *g*
Eden Haiku: Hi Zen, how are you?
Eliza Madrigal: yes I have to be honest that my impressions are very indirect
Eliza Madrigal: what others have gleaned from him more so than reading him directly
    Bleu Oleander: hi Zen
Eliza Madrigal prefers Jung generally so knows Freud more as relation to jung
    Zen Arado: Hi All
    Zen Arado: ok ty
Eden Haiku: Yes, and the essay shows how much Freud worked to create this myth about him. While hiding his darker secrets himself
Eden Haiku: I do not mean to rant here, sorry...
Eliza Madrigal: like Houdini... who made sure that people wrote about him posthumously, learned this week, so that he was bigger image wise than during life
Eden Haiku: We should start doing that maybe ?
    Eden Haiku: hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: :) haha...
    Bleu Oleander: haha!
Eliza Madrigal: I'll write about you all
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eden Haiku: A next Art of Being project? Our obituaries? giggling
    Eliza Madrigal: !
Zen Arado: why worry what people say about you when you are dead?
    Bleu Oleander: hmmmm

    --BELL--

    All magic tricks

Zen Arado: or even when you are alive
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;) Zen
Eliza Madrigal: well many do.... leaders/presidents especially spend their time looking for 'legacy'
Eliza Madrigal: but it is all magic tricks
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eden Haiku: magic tricks :)
Eliza Madrigal: wanting to leave an illusion of indelible impression
Zen Arado: a way of finding immortality?
Eliza Madrigal: (now look who is ranting) sits on hands
druth Vlodovic: many people seek proof of their existence and worth through others
Zen Arado: Woody Allen said something about that
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm, nods Druth
Eliza Madrigal: What did he say Zen?
    Zen Arado: he he
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: that he wanted immortality through living longer not through his work
    Eliza Madrigal: hah
    Bertram Jacobus: :-) ...
    Eden Haiku: hehe
Zen Arado: sounded funny when he said it :(
Bertram Jacobus: sounds VERY allanish ! :-)
Bleu Oleander: immortality as long as he didn't have to die first
Eden Haiku: Imagining Woody at 200 something... a tiny...
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah :))
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eden Haiku: That's more like it. Yes Bleu :)

    Being creeping back in

Eliza Madrigal: we do have inspiration to create in a way larger than ourselves though... think it seems a natural instinct to connect with 'all' of (larger?) ourself?
    Eden Haiku: Being?
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Eden Haiku: Being creeping back in ?
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe yes
    Eden Haiku: giggles
    Eliza Madrigal: sneaky Being
Eden Haiku: Being is a drum beat
    Eden Haiku: Being is overwhelming
Eden Haiku: Being is being heard
Zen Arado: we are immortal through being
Eliza Madrigal: yes, Being Heard :) Nice
Eden Haiku: we are being Being from the Big Bang
    Bleu Oleander: Being R Us
    Eden Haiku: Bang Bang
    Zen Arado: Big Bang Being
Zen Arado: has a nice ring
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eden Haiku: Sounds like a famous store? Do they sell wings and luths in there?
    Zen Arado: :)
    Eliza Madrigal laughs

    Tribal intelligence

Eliza Madrigal: have been thinking much about tribal intelligence... how our sessions can be such wonderful expressions of that different way of relating...
Zen Arado: or a sex shop maybe?
    Zen Arado: sorry
Eden Haiku: Lugh is coming disguised as Being!
    Eden Haiku: naughty naughty Zen....
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Lugh ;)
    Zen Arado: Hi Lugh
    Lugh Fehr: helloww hellow :)
    Eden Haiku: Hello Yellow!
    Bleu Oleander: hi Lugh
Eliza Madrigal: well it must be the wings that made him think of that...
    Zen Arado: Hello mellow yellow
    Zen Arado: quite rightly
Eden Haiku: You seem to be wearing a mixture of all your last outfits Lugh :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
    Bertram Jacobus: hii lugh :-)
    Lugh Fehr: yes :) hehhe
    Bleu Oleander: wild about saffron
Zen Arado: gives away age Bleu :(
    Eden Haiku: funky Lugh :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) yes but whose
Bleu Oleander: to anyone who will take it :)
Zen Arado: anyone who knows that song :)
    Lugh Fehr: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bertram Jacobus: mellow yellow ?! i have it in my ear now ! ... :-)
Bleu Oleander: probably will have it all day now
Zen Arado: it probably means something I don't know about
druth Vlodovic: I keep getting the butter commercial :(
Sunshine Vayandar: I thought of Bob Marley ...Mellow mood has got me darlinnnn...
    Lugh Fehr: hehe
Sunshine Vayandar: ( not suprisingly ;)

    Mellow yellowing into SL retreat

Eliza Madrigal: Curious to hear about retreat... Sun and Zen, you both participated?
    Lugh Fehr: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCCjv2OiTxE
    Zen Arado: :)
    Zen Arado: Sun?
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: I am really not so good with words
    Zen Arado: Sun's incident
Eliza Madrigal begs to differ :)
    Zen Arado: tell them Sun
Sunshine Vayandar: I seem to be walking on clouds today
    Zen Arado: me too
    Sunshine Vayandar: hehe
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, but please don't share more than feels comfortable... so important post retreat
Eden Haiku: begs to differ too Sun :) You are good with words!
Sunshine Vayandar: Africa has a new color somehow
    Eliza Madrigal: Hmmm
Zen Arado: yes only if you want to Sun
Sunshine Vayandar: it was definitely an experience I didn't expect

    --BELL--

Sunshine Vayandar: yes I am happy to share
Sunshine Vayandar: SL is very unique as it is - and many times it feels like a dream.
Sunshine Vayandar: I was wondering how it will be when we get together and talk a lot lol - when people talk too much - there is trouble ;p
Sunshine Vayandar: And there was no trouble at all ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Sunshine Vayandar: It was kind of just flowing on
    Eden Haiku: :)
Sunshine Vayandar: there was much depth, respect and caring
Eden Haiku: How many were attending the SL retreat?
    Eliza Madrigal: oooh, how Nice
    Sunshine Vayandar: behind the words
    Zen Arado: 10
    Sunshine Vayandar: 10 of us
    Eliza Madrigal: wow
Eden Haiku: 10 flowing together, very nice!
    Eliza Madrigal: remarkable
Sunshine Vayandar: yes I teach a lot and not easy to be on the same wavelength with all students in the room
Zen Arado: I enjoyed the morning sessions best because there were only 4 or 5 of us
Zen Arado: it was more intimate somehow
Sunshine Vayandar: yes it was great when we were just a few
Eliza Madrigal: I see... yes ten is a lot, though it sounds as though that was still harmonious
Sunshine Vayandar: made me think about retreats with only 2 people at a time hmm
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Sunshine Vayandar: I think I saw people do that somewhere
Sunshine Vayandar: in a monastery I think
Eliza Madrigal: and even solitary retreats... would like to do that soon
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes ;)
    Zen Arado: good idea
Sunshine Vayandar: I have an amazing RL friend - she lives in California - I grew up with her in hungary
Sunshine Vayandar: she sometimes disappears in the woods
Sunshine Vayandar: for a week or so ;)
    Eden Haiku: !
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Sunshine Vayandar: and eats almost nothing
    Lugh Fehr: hehe nice!
Eliza Madrigal: the woods can call and its time to go I guess
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
Eden Haiku: the wild woman calling
    Sunshine Vayandar: yes ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: wild lotus
Eliza Madrigal: did it feel the group was 'one'?
    Zen Arado: I thought so
Sunshine Vayandar: I had that feeling yes
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eden Haiku: How nice :)
Sunshine Vayandar: there was a oneness about it
Sunshine Vayandar: I feel that here also ;)
    Eden Haiku: :)
    Bertram Jacobus: very nice ...
Sunshine Vayandar: hehe may be I sound too excited lol

    Being playing drums

Eliza Madrigal: I felt we were a little in sync with retreaters when we found ourselves playing and discussing drumming during the guardian session...
Sunshine Vayandar: well it's Valentines ;D
Bertram Jacobus: and here more then elsewhere i would say, yes ...
Zen Arado: only thing - it takes such a long time to get around the group for sharing
Eliza Madrigal: I didn't know until then that you all had drums up there :D
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Bert
Eden Haiku: yes, we did feel united by virtual drums!
Eliza Madrigal: yes :) Being playing drums
Sunshine Vayandar: yes there is nothing like sharing through music
    Eden Haiku: yep!
Zen Arado: the drumbeat of existence
Eden Haiku: Being being heard :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Sunshine Vayandar: I grew up with music so it feels natural
Eden Haiku: Hearing the drumming of my old father's shovel in the stairways as we talk...
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: We had quite a bit of snow yesterday night
    Eliza Madrigal: must be beautiful
    Zen Arado: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51O2ymTtsR8

    Zen Arado: Nigerian drum music
    Zen Arado: Olatunji

    Sunshine Vayandar: ah ok ;)

Eden Haiku: Thank you for the drum sets Sunshine!
Eden Haiku: There was this African singer on local tv yesterday: Tiken Jah Fakoly [adding a YouTube link: http://bit.ly/el9opm]

    Lugh Fehr: sorry ?
Eden Haiku: Reading my French poem on African drums
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: bailar?
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah, nice Eden!
Eliza Madrigal: oh did I hear eden's voice...?
    Bertram Jacobus: niice ... :-)
Eden Haiku: No couldn't sorry, I disconnected headset before and now it doesn't work...
Eden Haiku: Would have to relog...so another time maybe?
    Eden Haiku: Zen is dancing!
    Sunshine Vayandar: YAY

Tempted to comply to Eliza's kind request to read my last poem in this festive atmosphere, I decided to relog with headset on (after all, my work- in-progress is in French with some arabic thrown in, and with the drumbeats in the background, I thought nobody would notice it's still under construction). I read the poem on voice as soon as I came back, noticing the drumbeats had been replaced by some didgeridoo. I did read at a very fast pace, carried away by the didgeridoo and some African drumbeats in the background. The strangest poetry reading I ever gave :) When I  finally noticed Zen kneeling and blowing into a didgeridoo, it was unfortunately too  late to take a snapshot of him :(

Eden Haiku: Ok I will come right back!
    Eliza Madrigal: :D
    Eliza Madrigal: ooohhh...
