Sat with the Kornfeld CD again today, found it a helpful and encouraging thing. It reminded me of my goal of finding a RL meditation group this year. I happen to know that there is one fairly close by, a few streets over; I will drop in on one of their evening sessions next month.
The evening began with quiet, meditative yoga; just what I needed to carry me through toward sleep, and into the weekend, welcoming the now three weeks of 'private time' (family away on business); and actually approaching each day meditatively may aide efforts to live these days deeply rather than occasionally fall into a shallower cradle of loneliness.
Don't crash the squadron. When your vehicle is not up to it, or your ability is impaired, or your comms link is squirly, get out of there. If you're flying in formation, or intending to, but you're more likely to be a liability to your friends than an asset today, stay on the ground. Fly another day. But tell them, so they know you've not been shot down or that they have to try and nurse you along.
So if I don't always post here on a particular day, you'll know why. You may not know the detailed reason - and that doesn't matter - but I haven't quit, and you'll know that I have the best interests of you all, the squadron, at heart, and that I'll fly with you again as soon as I can. :)

The room needs uncluttering, maybe that makes it more difficult. Or maybe it's my mind that's cluttered. Probably both.
Lots of stories coming up in meditating, and it often took some time for me to notice. A remedy for complacency.
