While waiting for a friend to arrive my cat sat by me quietly while I stood meditating.
Spent 15 or so minutes doing Chi Gong followed my Tai Chi, about 1/2 way through until friend arrives.
Today at my RL taoist study group we discuss chapter 26 of the Tao de Ching: (one translation goes like this)
The heavy is the root of the light.
The unmoved is the source of all movement.
Thus the Master travels all day
without leaving home.
However splendid the views,
she stays serenely in herself.
Why should the lord of the country
flit about like a fool?
If you let yourself be blown to and fro,
you lose touch with your root.
If you let restlessness move you,
you lose touch with who you are.
Druth summed it up nicely at PaB.. "There's no place like home" edited 04:00, 17 Feb 2013
Wait out the storm.
Time will take night and the rain elsewhere.
Sometimes even the gods like the quiet moments to pass wisdom.
~ Kuan Yin Oracle, poem 38

Warm. quiet spaces full of opportunity.
Time will take night and the rain elsewhere.
Sometimes even the gods like the quiet moments to pass wisdom.
