I'm noticing my body feels unbalanced. Not very surprising, since it is objectively unbalanced, with one arm and one ear not functioning fully. Still, I hadn't actually felt yet that my body is leaning one side.
I focused on my bones and joints today. This is a bit counterintuitive, as they don't do much, they just are there. All the same, I found it very helpful for finetuning my balance.
two gratitude's for today
1. I am grateful for the skilled surgeon and awesome hospital and Druth's safe surgery
2. I am grateful for the theme this week of patience and the many conversations. It is something I need to learn more of.

"... We don’t have to be monks, having given away all our possessions. We don’t need to be intolerant of material success. Nor do we need to become anesthetized to the suffering we see around us. ..."
Late meditation (7 minutes) on a very long day. Left for the bus at 6:00 am for an hours commute which usually takes 20 minutes by car, Car is in the shop being repaired due to a phone pole that jump out and scraped the front of my car inflecting a minimal amount to damage but still takes a number of days to repair.
Meditation was joined by 50 deep breaths. This was followed my 7 minutes of Chi Gong focusing on Qi flow head to foot, cat joined me long enough to get annoyed and attached my foot before I redirected him to the other room.
What I thought was an unusually fast Tai Chi took around 12 minutes tonight, it was a bit unbalanced dues to my fatigue but pleasant in any case. :)
Observing my dear friends here going about their various efforts and meditations -- all brings a deep quiet warmth as we each and all trying to make our way, often meanderingly, toward one or more goals. And each enhanced by the presence and efforts of the other(s).
My own meanderings feel enriched by the presence of friends.
wtf... where did that come from? <can't describe the last few minutes>

actually did the meditation, mainly not to miss the 99 day entry, then promptly forgot to enter it :)
due to circumstances I did it lying down, so it was hard to sort out between meditating and dozing off
