Thank you dear friends for the unlooked-for but deeply appreciated wonderful warm wishes. :)) I'm fasting now and soon I will journey to Boulder, the closest suitable place at short notice. Yes it should help with weight loss - for two reasons!

When does an opening end? It's fuzzy, I guess. Not after a fixed number of moves, for sure, especially as a game can be over in just two moves! Perhaps two people would look at the same game and have different opinions. How about when at least one player has completed all or most of their development, and their king is relatively safe? On the other hand, how much does it matter?

Maybe it never ends but just keeps cycling to the beginning again.

My exhibition opening ends at 4 pm slt and begins at 5 pm slt. Tomorrow. Please come. edited 23:34, 9 Feb 2013

I will begin another drawing today. One that alludes to change and new beginnings that never end.

    Funny,
how for more than 2 full days
any few seconds of rest, amid all that is going on, yielded nothing for this commentary.
Absolutely, nothing. Na-Da, zero, blank, nil, clean slate, zilch ...
Just now, another of those few seconds while a script ran.
This time the very tired head banged down on the desk.
Exactly, like a slap to the forehead.
    ...
Might as well do one of those slap the forehead aha Ah-Ha, ah-Ha ha ha ha he he ho ho.
    ...
For a sec, for 9 sec, for an unknown amount of unknown time-ish type units there was NOTHING.
    ...
    Zeroth Time experienced
and all the travelers report NOTHING was there.

    Being Happy.

best of unsolicited wishes from me storm :)
keep some unopened for recovery as well

this time I tried getting a guided meditation from youtube, am I getting nothing from my "nothing" meditations? or am I telling myself as much to avoid them, ah well, without a goal progress is diffiult to measure

a bit out of synch, of course, from time to time, especially when something was going on downstairs I usually want to monitor and maybe intervene in, the constant sounds from the guided meditation helped quiet the part of my mind that keeps worrying if my "time is up yet?" :)

it was relaxing and I kept the in through nose, out through mouth thing up the whole time, and the slow breathing is keeping me calm, a trick I learned in childhood, thinking of it as "pretending to be asleep" :)

    have fun all

Meditated late in the evening. I got up a bit earlier than usual today in order to meditate, but I didn't get to it because my husband kept calling. Meditating in the morning seem not always to be just a matter of getting up on time.

Notice where my body is not aligned well, and allow it to correct itself. I don't have to do anything. Just pay attention and don't get in the way. But if I forget to do that, I'm not meditating.

At the end of an active week, retreating to an island cabin, I seek refuge for my tired mind.
Hoping all have their needed resources for and from the weekend.
