The Guardian for this meeting was Tarmel Udimo. I had spent a few mins alone before Eden floated in and was sitting on a cushion way up in the pagoda:)

    Eden Haiku: Hi!
    Tarmel Udimo: Hi Eden!
    Tarmel Udimo: you're floating:)
Eden Haiku: My battery is low and a whole Punjabi family sat at my table in WiFi cafe in Dharamsala.
Eden Haiku: Hi Tarmel how are you?
    Tarmel Udimo: haha
    Tarmel Udimo: gosh Dharamsala????
    Tarmel Udimo: I am fine...
Eden Haiku: I don't have visuals on Ipod anyone else with you?
Tarmel Udimo: no just you and me:)
Eden Haiku: yes I attended His Holiness teachings yesterday
Tarmel Udimo: but gosh that's pretty good to get SL on an Ipod?
Tarmel Udimo: oh ok and how was that?
    Eden Haiku: Yes is'nt it?
Tarmel Udimo: the teachings I mean
    Tarmel Udimo: welcome back:)
Eden Haiku: Sorry, distracted by Punjabis leaving
    Tarmel Udimo: no worries
Eden Haiku: Was saying the rerun of teachings on tv was almostbetter. Tibetan speaking dalai lama with sweet voice eyes sparkling and hand gestures
Tarmel Udimo: ahhh so is it subtitled?
Eden Haiku: I was sitting not too far but could not see him that well
    Tarmel Udimo: nods
    Tarmel Udimo: lots of people?
Eden Haiku: No only Tibetan but I remember the English translation from the morning at the temple
    Tarmel Udimo: wonderful
Eden Haiku: Yes, a crowd. Lots of people from Tibet.
Tarmel Udimo: and is it a kind of retreat? or you are just visiting
Eden Haiku: They are so kind and smiling!
Tarmel Udimo: yes tibetans have a wonderful aura
Eden Haiku: Both: kind of retreat and vacation after conferences in India. Have been here for a month now.
Eden Haiku: What time are you in Australia Tarmel?
    Tarmel Udimo: 8:13pm
    Tarmel Udimo: and you?
    Eden Haiku: Here mid- afternoon
Eden Haiku: Was going to the library to find an obscure sanskrit book
And that was the end of the conversation, as Eden crashed... would be nice to know what the book was Eden? Maybe let us know the next time you fly in...

Tried the 9 secs every 15 minutes during the two hours session of teachings about the King of the Tantras. Extract: 10h15: It rains. All nestled around him studying the Guhyasamaja Tantra, its four interwoven commentaries and annotations. Moved to tears as I realize how privileged I am sitting here with the Sangha in the cold wind, listening to such an ancient transmission.11h10: Hands so cold. On the screen, His Holiness does not seem to be cold but he must, the temple is open. So enthralled he is with his study. Someone just emitted a big loud sigh that made us smile and brought me back to awareness.
