    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Eden :)
    Eden Haiku: Hello Gaya!
    Eden Haiku: How are you?
Gaya Ethaniel: Nice to see you again. I'm well, thank you. How about you?
Eden Haiku: I'm fine, thanks. Settling back. Nice to see you again.
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Eden Haiku: Any idea what this navi dreamcatcher or something is?
Gaya Ethaniel: A stick like object next to me?
    Eden Haiku: Yes?
Gaya Ethaniel: Its name is 'talking stick' but I think you'd need to ask Calvino ... :)
Eden Haiku: Oh... so he is here virtually even if he is not here ;-) Sighs...
    Gaya Ethaniel: Could be :)
Eden Haiku: Do we have to talk about phenomenology then? ;-)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: What would you like to talk about?
Eden Haiku: Anything Gaya. What comes up ;-)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Eden Haiku: I woke up feeling a lot of creative energy this morning, like in a bubble of it!
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Eden Haiku: Very creative in typos...
    Gaya Ethaniel: heh :)
Gaya Ethaniel: I like the image of creative bubbles.
Eden Haiku: What was interesting about it is that I could sense the velocity of the energy, its quality.
    Gaya Ethaniel nods.
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Bleu :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Gaya!
Bleu Oleander: Thank you for stepping in ....
Eden Haiku: And there was no aim to it, just bubbling! Good morning Bleu. Sorry, I did not see you before. Noticed you talked to me on the chat...
Bleu Oleander: Although I'm happy to do this anytime i can!
Gaya Ethaniel: Thank you for filling in other sessions too Bleu.
    Bleu Oleander: hi Eden
    Bleu Oleander: sure any time!!
Gaya Ethaniel: Are the bubbles developing now?
    Eden Haiku: Still floating freely...
Gaya Ethaniel wonders what will appear when they pop out!
    Eden Haiku: Poof!
    Gaya Ethaniel: lol
Gaya Ethaniel: Did you have any interesting dreams Eden?
Eden Haiku: Recently, I had dreams about airports...My 12 flights are catching up I guess..;-)
    Gaya Ethaniel: uh ... 12 flights ... :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, the number of times I had to go through security...Awww
Gaya Ethaniel: Travelling by air is surreal to me ... and all these stories about going through security too. Did you get stopped?
Eden Haiku: Once, they took my lipstick for a lighter. Searched my whole carry on...
Gaya Ethaniel: It's a bit embarrassing isn't it? That happened to me too once.
Bleu Oleander: (c u later ... thanks again Gaya!)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Bye :)
Eden Haiku: But, hey I was lucky. No baggage loss, perfect weather ;-)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: When did you come back home again?

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: What about you, did you have dreams recently?
Eden Haiku: I came back a week ago.
Gaya Ethaniel: I had one and thought about that this morning but I forgot already :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah ok
Eden Haiku: oh..dreams they vanish so fast don't they?
    Gaya Ethaniel nods.
Eden Haiku: Maybe something will trigger it back, it happens sometimes...
Eden Haiku: Are you attending Maxine's dreams workshop?
Gaya Ethaniel: Some dreams one remembers for a while though ... I think it depends on messages one gleams off them.
Eden Haiku: Yes, true. Some are so vivid...
Gaya Ethaniel: Unfortunately most of the time I can't attend the workshop because I'm usually on the way home from Tai Chi class.
Eden Haiku: Tai Chi, that is so beautiful!
Gaya Ethaniel: I can share a recent one I still remember if you'd like :)
Eden Haiku: Sure, please do ;-)
Gaya Ethaniel: I wouldn't call the way I do Tai Chi beautiful :P
Eden Haiku: ah... I used to practice it and it is how it felt to me...
Gaya Ethaniel: My dream self had a choice to make and during the entire dream, I was agonising over it. I woke up thinking, hm ...
    Eden Haiku: listens
Gaya Ethaniel: Worrying is a bit wasteful ...
Gaya Ethaniel: I think this was a message I was giving myself :)
Gaya Ethaniel: As in I should see what comes by and fits rather than worrying too much.
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Visitor :)
Eden Haiku: Remembers she saw this performance in New York many years ago. The artist had taken a log of her own life for a year or something and she wrote: If you spend your time worrying, you fill your life with worry. It always stayed with me.
Gaya Ethaniel nods. I could have dreamt about India instead, imagine!
Eden Haiku: It is good to notice how we spend our time...
    Gaya Ethaniel nods.
Eden Haiku: last year, I had to move and I was consumed with worry.
Eden Haiku: But then, everything went very smoothly...
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Eden Haiku: With a lot of work and organizing!
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes, that's better than worrying :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Worrying is a bit like adding that is not necessary.
Eden Haiku: It is the emotional part of change I would say. Wondering if it makes any sense...;-)
Gaya Ethaniel: For me, I often lean more towards worrying than being excited at changes initially but it gets balanced out soon after.
Gaya Ethaniel: Life would be somewhat dull without changes ... :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, me too. First reaction is almost always fear. But I learn ;-)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)

    --BELL--

    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Zen :)
Eden Haiku: It was nice chatting with you this morning Gaya.
Gaya Ethaniel: Have a nice day Eden :)
    Zen Arado: HI Gaya. Eden
Eden Haiku: Thanks Gaya. Hello Zen...I was about to leave...sorry ;-)
    Zen Arado: it's ok :)
    Eden Haiku: Hugs!
    Zen Arado: nice outfit :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Eden Haiku: Thanks. see you soon!
    Zen Arado: very Springlike
    Zen Arado: bye
Eden Haiku: Yes, It is Spring in Montreal already. Amazing!
Gaya Ethaniel: How are you Zen?
    Zen Arado: not bad
    Zen Arado: and you?
Gaya Ethaniel: I'm well thanks :)
Zen Arado: just working my way through notices
    Gaya Ethaniel: heh :)
Zen Arado: if you miss a day or two they pile up
    Gaya Ethaniel nods nods.
Zen Arado: my shoulder is a bit stiff today
Zen Arado: was doing an abstract yesterday and think I strained it
    Gaya Ethaniel: How?
    Zen Arado: reaching too far
Gaya Ethaniel: ah ... sorry to hear it.
Gaya Ethaniel: How big are your works usually?
Zen Arado: well this is 24" x 24"
    Zen Arado: big for me
Gaya Ethaniel tries to think that in cm ... :)
Zen Arado: working from a wheelchair
    Zen Arado: 60 x 60
    Gaya Ethaniel: That's a nice size :)
Zen Arado: I have a lot of muscular weakness unfortunately
    Zen Arado: muscular dystrophy
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah ...
Zen Arado: makes painting a bit more awkward
Zen Arado: but you need bigger sizes for abstracts I think
Gaya Ethaniel: I'm amazed that you persist :)
Zen Arado: have to do something :)
Zen Arado: and I love painting
Gaya Ethaniel: Can you reassemble bits as Hockney does?
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Zen Arado: reassemble bits?
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes recently he painted [well blow up] landscapes into smaller pieces that reassemble at gallery for display. Not sure if it's online ... let me look up.
Zen Arado: I saw him painting small landscapes outside which he made into a bigger painting
    Zen Arado: of trees
Gaya Ethaniel: No, they are as if you cut one painting into smaller squares?
    Zen Arado: oh I see
Gaya Ethaniel: He wanted to make them into really bigger pieces. He takes photographs of paintings then paint them into larger scales by using multiple canvases then reassemble.
Gaya Ethaniel: Like this one -- http://www.artknowledgenews.com/file...erWinterTu.jpg
Zen Arado: yes - he made a programme on how old artists used photography for the BBC
Zen Arado: don't quite see the point of cutting them up?
Zen Arado: except for easier transport :)
Gaya Ethaniel: No, he doesn't cut them up ... in the link if you see ...
Gaya Ethaniel: Each canvas itself is quite large.

    --BELL--

Zen Arado: it looks like one painting cut up though
Gaya Ethaniel: Better one here. I know he made them bigger again using photographs. http://www.artknowledgenews.com/file...ldgateWood.jpg
Gaya Ethaniel: I just remembered this somehow when you mentioned canvas size :)
Zen Arado: that's the one I was thinking of
Gaya Ethaniel: This one put together better :) http://www.independent.co.uk/multime...es__23022b.jpg
Gaya Ethaniel: I like his works very much ... especially later landscapes.
Zen Arado: yes - it enables him to work on a bigger scale I suppose
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: It actually reminds me of his earlier works as a student, using bits of photographs.
Zen Arado: I remember one of a couple with a cat
Zen Arado: called Percy I think
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey you both
    Zen Arado: Hi Yaku
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Yaku :)
Zen Arado: it was quite large too
Zen Arado: and then ones of swimming pools
Zen Arado: now he paints on his iphone :)
Zen Arado: David Hockney we are talking about Yaku
    Gaya Ethaniel: http://www.bideford.devon.sch.uk/art...20hockney.html
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, i remember you talked about him with bleu last week
    Yakuzza Lethecus: in ur gallery
Gaya Ethaniel: Are your paintings also in display here Zen?
Zen Arado: yes - I have a small space
Gaya Ethaniel reads Zen profile :)
Zen Arado: yes it's on there
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Zen Arado: classifieds
Zen Arado: have to change those paintings soon
Gaya Ethaniel: I will drop by after the session :)
    Zen Arado: sure
Zen Arado: you can't get there directly - have to follow a red arrow
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah ok :)
Zen Arado: the woman who owns the place likes people to have a look around as well
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes that makes sense :)
Zen Arado: there are a number of artists' work there
Zen Arado: but not many visit
Gaya Ethaniel: People don't really explore randomly unless 'recommended' like now :)
Zen Arado: yes - need more marketing skills
Zen Arado: but never think much of selling on SL
Zen Arado: you get so little for paintings
Gaya Ethaniel: How do you sell in RL?
Zen Arado: through a couple of art clubs
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah :)
Zen Arado: I am not ambitious about painting
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Zen Arado: or promoting myself
Zen Arado: don't have the energy
Gaya Ethaniel: Well you enjoy it very much which is nice :)

    --BELL--

Zen Arado: Hockney made an excellent BBC film about camera obscura one time
    Zen Arado: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMRpmqeKg-g
Zen Arado: he says Vermeer and others used cameras in their work
Gaya Ethaniel: Looks interesting! Thanks for that.
Gaya Ethaniel: Nice seeing you both again. Have a pleasant day!
    Zen Arado: you too Gaya
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye you both
    Zen Arado: bye
Yakuzza Lethecus: have fun in the gallery
