Qt Core: a couple days ago i heard about an idea for elections
Qt Core: as we are heviong (not only in italy) more people not goint to vote each elections

Qt Core: this idea is: if there si more than x (50 or 60)% of people not voting the elections are to be repeated with all the candidate changed, with no one of the previous ones

Qt Core: this is similar to the idea that national level pilitician should not do more than 2/3 mandate

Qt Core: i have different feeling about that last idea, for once it will bring fresh ideas in parliament, but on the other hand some experience and knowledge of the palace intricacies is needed

Susi Alcott: I've heared that in USA people have got already so wise that they dont 'reage' fully the directorate, that at least one 'old timer' is to stay that younger persons wouldnt' need to do the same mistakes ...

Qt Core: i like their idea of renewing only half the member of parliament at every elections (if i remember correctly), it will not disrupt the working
Wol Euler: yes, that is a sound idea
Qt Core: here at every election all the law project have to restart from the beginning

Susi Alcott: there was this couple I met on many of my journeys to Egypt; in Cairo; they was from Ireland
Susi Alcott: we also felt as the family members
Susi Alcott: the last time I met them was how they had just arrived to this 'hotel' we used to live in during our visit
Susi Alcott: they had made a supper and invited me to share it
Susi Alcott: I soon got that feeling which I told them;
Susi Alcott: like we'd having the 'last supper'

Susi Alcott: they understood cuz they felt the same
Susi Alcott: we also took that to be the sign of clear change in life; at least to them
Susi Alcott: since then I heared of them 'only' via e-mail for many years as they had got good jobs for long time that they could travel around the world more

Yakuzza Lethecus: i was thinking about singularity before, so the state when technologie is faster then humand development, but then came the question to my mind that it´s worthless thinking about it since humanity never really understood humanity itself so the singularity happened at our creation

Yakuzza Lethecus: yesterday in the 1 pm session we left the circle after the hour and went to the pub to make more use of that
Yakuzza Lethecus: we used voice what was really nice
Yakuzza Lethecus: it gives much more dynamic and feeling for the ppl
Wol Euler: voice is difficult for me, because the sounds that my mouth makes don't fit well with this image :/

Archmage Atlantis: Life is difficult in one species, more diificult accoss many species.....more difficut accross the heirchy of all life
Archmage Atlantis: And if we are to travel the galaxy, that may be more difficult.

Yakuzza Lethecus: we should develop cheap less energieconsupting ways to travel the world for now instead of travelling to the universe
Yakuzza Lethecus: or planning mars and moon missions

Wol Euler: we have such enormous and immediate problems to deal with right here...
Archmage Atlantis: Disagree....the dream is why we go on....the native austrians and amerinds knew that
Yakuzza Lethecus: to some extend it´s facinating to have virtual worlds and to be able to meet ppl here and not using gas to fly to skandinavia or florida :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: but then sometimes when another thing might happen like the retreat in san fransisco what´s a great thing then ppl are using so much energy and pollute the invironment

Wol Euler: I see a difference between personally driving alone in a car when I could do the trip on foot,
Wol Euler: and sitting as an extra passenger in a plane that is going to fly *anyway*

Yakuzza Lethecus: lol, i have that scene everyday i have a cigaretteautomat and the house of a smoker in front of my window or at least i can see both from here
