The Guardian for the first half-hour of this meeting was Eliza Madrigal. Thereafter, the scheduled guardian Storm Nordwind was able to attend. The comments are by Storm Nordwind. (Thank you Eliza!)

    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
    Susi Alcott: Hi Eden
    Eden Haiku: Good morning!
    Bleu Oleander: hi!
    Eden Haiku: Good morning Bleu!
Susi Alcott: Hi Bleu and Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: hehe, bleu. You are fast
    Eden Haiku: Good morning Eliza!
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Susi, Eden :)
    Bleu Oleander: tp'd
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

There's an excitement about the growing number of "Art of Being" exhibits on the Village Square.
Eliza Madrigal: brb, have to check something really fast...
Bleu Oleander: Eliza and I were working in the square :)
Bleu Oleander: were you able to put a notecard in your art piece Eden?
    Eden Haiku: Yes I did!

Small can be beautiful. We have a 50 prim allowance per exhibit, but we needn't use that many. In fact a single prim is fine! (The most complex exhibit so far only has 12 prims.)
Eden Haiku: I know my piece is under count for now Bleu. I will make it "grow" is that ok?
Bleu Oleander: I was only teasing you ..... I love that your piece is only 1 prim
Eden Haiku: Calvino was very helpful, it took me a while.
Bleu Oleander: it's more complicated than it looks
Eden Haiku: Oh you mean it is ok like that? Good then!
    Bleu Oleander: sure!

We're still sorting out some of the mechanics of the exhibits.
Eliza Madrigal: I haven't gotten it right yet....
Eden Haiku: Do you have the "vendor' note card Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: It is wonderful... makes me feel hugged actually... and think about restorations and timelessness
    Eliza Madrigal: vendor?
Bleu Oleander: the simplest way to get your thoughts across is the best
Eden Haiku: Oh, thanks Eliza ;)
Eden Haiku: I will have to leave soon this morning but I wanted to say hello.
    Bleu Oleander: glad you did!
Eliza Madrigal: Bleu showed me how to get a new script, but so far it doesn't seem to give the card
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, nice to see you :)
Bleu Oleander: somewhere there is a permission not checked
Bleu Oleander: that is what it was for me too
Eliza Madrigal: Its funny that when one begins thinking this way... everything becomes a PaB reflection of some sort...
    Bleu Oleander: hi Yaku
    Susi Alcott: hi Yakuzza
Eliza Madrigal: for instance, even giving permission :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning everyone :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Yakuzza
Bleu Oleander: yes, so many metaphors

    Fresh eyes.
Eden Haiku: The Art of being project is already working very well Bleu: yesterday, there were six of us at least, and then I TP a friend who loved the place. There is a buzz in the village now!
    Eliza Madrigal: Indeed!
    Bleu Oleander: that's great
Eden Haiku: Went to bed very late, playing at Art of Being...
Bleu Oleander: was my intention to have everyone helping and learning together
Bleu Oleander: a new way to look at PaB themes
    Bleu Oleander: with fresh eyes
    Bleu Oleander: using art
Eden Haiku: Try the Vendor Eliza. You just replace the title of the card with yours inside the script.
Eliza Madrigal: Fresh Eyes, yes :))
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, okay... that might be easier
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Eden
    Eden Haiku: Welcome.

Breaking down barriers, as expressed by the best hugs in the world!
Eden Haiku: Nice you feel hugged Eliza. I hear you give the best hugs in the world!
Eliza Madrigal grins.... that is Storm being sweet. He gives the best hugs! I just appreciate them!
Eliza Madrigal: Its funny, but I was such an aloof person... for many years. Now I just can't get enough of people....
Eliza Madrigal: am huggy and clingy...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Bleu Oleander: was that because of sl?
    Bleu Oleander: and PaB?
Eliza Madrigal: not graspy, but hm... just more open
Eliza Madrigal: Yes I do think so
Eden Haiku: You seemed to have a great time at the Working Group meeting. That is wonderful to know you keep Play as Being so much alive by meeting in RL too!
Bleu Oleander: I had the same reaction
Bleu Oleander: has really affected by rl
Eliza Madrigal: I think I wasn't very trusting and pab has helped me to break down barriers from the inside out, so to speak

    The meeting at Princeton.
Yakuzza Lethecus: who was all there in princeton ?
Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Eden. We really did accomplish a lot...
    --BELL--
Bleu Oleander: btw, Eliza, if you haven't found anyone for the 7am fri, I will do it for you :)
Eliza Madrigal: During the April 4 guardian meeting, we'll make some small announcements and give outlines of what we worked on.... by that time more details should be clear :) This week it will be fun to focus on Art of Being during the meeting perhaps
Yakuzza Lethecus: 7 am ? usually i am also availible, but maybe not directly on the start
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, thank you Bleu! :)

No discord between SL and RL.
Eliza Madrigal: I will say that I hadn't met Storm or Genesis before this meeting, and they were both delightful. It seems very normal now, that there is no real discord between online/offline personalities....
Eliza Madrigal: we really DO get a sense of one another
Eden Haiku: How nice to hear that!

    Art, poetry and music.
Eliza Madrigal: :) we played with haiku a lot too, Eden...
Eliza Madrigal: :) reflecting on all the people who've become so involved and how much energy and circulation there is going....
Eden Haiku: You are all masters of haiku ;)
Eliza Madrigal: then to come home to this art project!
Eliza Madrigal: I mean, really.... almost too much :))))))
Eden Haiku: By the way, I loved the madrigals music you sent on Twitter,;)))
    Eliza Madrigal is obviously happy
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, thanks... was a re-tweet with my name on it ;-D
Eliza Madrigal: oh, see your question, Ya. the meeting was pema, maxine, genesis, storm, eos, and I... current working group
Eliza Madrigal: It has been 6 months, so now is the transition point
Eden Haiku: Yes, thank you Bleu for bringing up this project, Thanks you so much Bleu for bringing up this project so full of life and beauty!
Yakuzza Lethecus: ah, the others where just there for the dinner ?
Eliza Madrigal: Indeed! I loved running into you guys last night, too
Bleu Oleander: I'm so happy you like it
Bleu Oleander: I hope it continues to bring everyone together
Eden Haiku: I had the feeling Pema's dream of having a 24hour open all night coffee spot was coming to life...almost!
    Bleu Oleander: yes!
Eliza Madrigal: haha, I'd forgotten about that!

Taking risks and learning from each other.
Eliza Madrigal: the process of sharing... such a simple thing, from childhood... yet as we get older we let that fall away a little...
Bleu Oleander: yes, everyone is a teacher and everyone is a student
Eden Haiku: Lucinda and Calvino were sharing interesting childhood memories and I thought maybe we could even someway take logs and put some extracts of the conversations on the wiki at some point.;)
    Bleu Oleander: nice idea Eden
Eliza Madrigal: stepping out and being willing to not get things perfectly but to share anyway... flow of giving/receiving :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: codependent arising ? :)
Eden Haiku: So we could also learn how others learn from each other...;)
Eliza Madrigal: Yes Ya! :) You know that's part of what I had in mind with my art piece...
Bleu Oleander: somehow forces the ego out of the way
Eliza Madrigal: how things seem connected at first but when we play with them we get more space, freedom, creativity

Ceci n'est pas une œuvre d’art.
Eden Haiku: Yes and please Yaku don't be shy! Just create anything, on a blink!
Yakuzza Lethecus: somebody already had ,,being seeing" in his artpiece :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Eden Haiku: really, that"s good!
Yakuzza Lethecus: ah, maybe it´s just what the word ,,art" creates in me
Bleu Oleander: more childlike experience of working with primary building blocks to see being
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, yes lovely, Bleu
Eliza Madrigal: What do you mean, Ya?
Yakuzza Lethecus: i didn´t like art back years ago
Yakuzza Lethecus: somehow the word art triggers something negative, i want to get rid of that feeling tho
Bleu Oleander: call it visually interpreting PaB themes
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: but still i can appreaciate beauty when i not think about it as art
Yakuzza Lethecus: kinda irrational what i often have in mind
    Bleu Oleander: ok good
    Bleu Oleander: hey Storm
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey storm
Eden Haiku: Call your piece : "This is not Art" Yaku!
    Storm Nordwind: Hi there!
    Susi Alcott: Hi Storm
    --BELL--
Bleu Oleander: the "unArt of being" piece Yaku hehe
Eliza Madrigal: when 'ego' gets ahold of art or philosophy or math even... it can use it as a weapon of sorts.... insecurity causing possiveness, etc (Hello Storm!)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, great idea... Yakuzza's UnArt/NoArt/Artless Beauty
    Bleu Oleander: i like it!
Eliza Madrigal: Susi, will you work on something too?
    Susi Alcott: have not thought...
Eden Haiku: Good morning Storm. I'm glad I have a chance to say hello before saying goodbye, I have to leave soon. But I feel pulled into my computer screen...

    Images of drops.
Bleu Oleander was mezmerized by Storms 9sec particle drops last evening :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: yes I love that!
Storm Nordwind: Glad to see you too Eden! :)))
    Eliza Madrigal: endless dropping
Storm Nordwind: The final piece has a drop every 3 seconds, a kind of 3x3=9 symmetry
    Eliza Madrigal: oh my
Eden Haiku: It reminded me of the Aquarius symbol in the Tarot cards. The Temperance trump. XIV
    Storm Nordwind: Ah yes!
Bleu Oleander: might be an idea for the pavillion .... a drop into the fountain every 9 sec
Bleu Oleander: has a very calming, focusing effect
Eden Haiku: Steve diving into the pond maybe?
Eliza Madrigal: :)))... picturing the drop and the rippling out...
Bleu Oleander: not quite what I was seeing in my mind's eye
    Eden Haiku: ;)))
Susi Alcott: ...sees the tear drop...
    Eden Haiku: ah yes
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm
Eliza Madrigal: one drop reflecting all the other drops....

    Dispenser dispenser.
Storm Nordwind: By the way, if you feel that your exhibit looks better with a base on the floor (to cover the rough stones of the village square) please put one there
Eliza Madrigal thinks she'll leave hers as is and just figuring out the notecard will be sufficient :))
    Storm Nordwind: hehe!
Bleu Oleander: (perhaps we all need a notecard lesson)
Eliza Madrigal giggles.... Bleu and Eden have helped though... think I may be able to manage it when I go back with fresh eyes
Storm Nordwind: I have a dispenser script if anyone needs it
Eliza Madrigal: yes I think that's what Eden gave me, and Bleu specified that I need to allow others to be able to copy...
Bleu Oleander: can that be put somewhere in the village so we can copy it Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Sure. I'll put a dispenser for the dispenser script on the square! ;)

    Eliza leaves.
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
    Bleu Oleander: great :)
    Eliza Madrigal: thanks
Eliza Madrigal: I can't stay the whole session today either... actually have a pile of things to do and got pulled in by "Oh, I'll work a little with the art piece", and now has been a few hrs :)
Storm Nordwind: That happened to me too!
Yakuzza Lethecus: ok, take care eliza :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Happy Sigh :)
    Bleu Oleander: me too!

    Art affects life.
Bleu Oleander: was interested to see how much creating art about PaB has focused me on the themes of PaB .... acting as an interim step towards taking those themes into rl and everyday :)
Storm Nordwind: Yes! It helps me tease apart something I normally see as more integrated
    Bleu Oleander: yes!
Storm Nordwind: Is your offering, Bleu, the start of a wonderful flood of expression? Will we see more exhibits from you on the village square? :)
Bleu Oleander: sure, i have the bug now
    Storm Nordwind: Great!! :))

    Exhibits built by teams.
Bleu Oleander: would love to work with some others on creating a team piece also
Bleu Oleander: (trying to learn more in the process)
Storm Nordwind: How do you think that might be organized?
Bleu Oleander: we might ask for those who want to participate and then group them together
Storm Nordwind: Yes. I can also imagine, for example, that an artist in RL who was not a builder in SL, might pass a sketch between a group.
    Bleu Oleander: oh yes!
Bleu Oleander: or someone who has an idea (like Yaku) who doesn't want to build, could have a builder interpret it for them
    Storm Nordwind: yes indeed.

    Some help with building exhibits.
Bleu Oleander: perhaps too, some kind of general primer on building would help
Bleu Oleander: simply "linking" prims is an example
    --BELL--
Storm Nordwind: I always suggest people go to the Ivory Tower Library of Primitives for a self-paced course
Bleu Oleander: yes, that is great
Bleu Oleander: we could list it on the wiki page
Storm Nordwind: Do we have a wiki page for Art of Being yet?
    Bleu Oleander: not yet
Bleu Oleander: (sorry, talked right through the 90sec)
Storm Nordwind: Don't worry Bleu - you merely followed my bad example!
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bleu Oleander: I think also, some of us can invite others to do a piece with them
    Bleu Oleander: drawing them in
Bleu Oleander: even meeting together to plan the piece can be fun and illuminating :)
    Bleu Oleander: bonding
Storm Nordwind: I agree. That would all be good. We do have a lot of talent here, normally modestly displayed. (It's normally only me that gets the opportunity to be demonstrative.)
Bleu Oleander: yes, I think there are lots of ideas and talent

Yakuzza describes his (what some might call) perfectionist approach.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i just try to be ,,being seeing around here"
Yakuzza Lethecus: i try to watch and let go, watch my thoughts and love to be able to reflect on them sometimes
Yakuzza Lethecus: if i try creating something ,,i want it to be good" from start somehow, i delete it and i stop doing it and i just get stuck
Yakuzza Lethecus: not only related to building
Yakuzza Lethecus: how to drop the ,,grasping"
Yakuzza Lethecus: how to just create something in the moment
Storm Nordwind: Perhaps we have different styles of learning Yaku. My rather 'activist' style means I need to be allowed to make mistakes. Perfection for me would be knowing when to stop
Bleu Oleander: maybe talk about the idea first with someone and then "one prim at a time" as you add to it together
Bleu Oleander: I am more like Storm's approach
Bleu Oleander: need to make mistakes to learn
Bleu Oleander: in art that's the hard part, knowing when to stop
Storm Nordwind: It reminds me of playing music...
Storm Nordwind: I have played lead guitar in rock bands...
Storm Nordwind: and the thing I'm normally best at is improvization...
Storm Nordwind: but you just have to have the confidence that when you screw up (as you do several times a minute!)...
Storm Nordwind: that you can just pull it all back into line, at least temporarily (before the next mistake)...
Storm Nordwind: and to the audience, it just appears to be seamless (apparently)
    Storm Nordwind: :)
Bleu Oleander: harder to do with paint hehe
    Storm Nordwind: haha!
Storm Nordwind: It is with watercolor. Less so with oils.
Bleu Oleander: prims are easy though
    --BELL--
Bleu Oleander: have to go .... take care everyone :)

    Storm Nordwind: Yes, I sympathize.
Storm Nordwind: Especially if you attend workshops too
