    Fael Illyar: Hi Sharon :)
    --BELL--
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hihi
SophiaSharon Larnia: are those your butterflies Fael?
    Fael Illyar: no
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    Archmage Atlantis: I like them
Fael Illyar: They're nice here :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: I think they're Moon's :)
    Fael Illyar: yes, Moon's
Archmage Atlantis: Amazing how long the animation can show hands as typing, even tho the message is not long.
SophiaSharon Larnia: (thought that too ;p)
Fael Illyar: the animation sometimes takes much longer than the typing :P
Archmage Atlantis: I wonder if SL, or whatever suceeds it will be closer to human "real time"
SophiaSharon Larnia: what do you mean, Arch ?
SophiaSharon Larnia: a 24 hour day here like in rl
Archmage Atlantis: We each experience time as relative to our own perspective of us
SophiaSharon Larnia: and the perspective changes, alot!
    Archmage Atlantis: Yes :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: HI Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sharon, Arch, Fael (what a gorgous magenta!)
    Archmage Atlantis: HIya Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: noticing the butterflies.... lovely way to greet the day
SophiaSharon Larnia: I still haven't figured if the sense of feeling time is related to inattention or attention
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Arch
SophiaSharon Larnia: it is isnt it Eliza :), am meditative just looking at them
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Archmage Atlantis: Easy to answer Sophia.....it is both
Eliza Madrigal: "Time is.. Too Slow for those who Wait Too Swift for those who Fear Too Long for those who Grieve Too Short for those who Rejoice But for those who Love Time is not. "
    Eliza Madrigal: (H. Van Dyke)
Eliza Madrigal: I disagree with him about the fear thing... seems to stretch the sense of time, imo...
SophiaSharon Larnia: if your trying to somethinbg in particular, you feel that your running out of time, somewhat apt
    Eliza Madrigal: hm, true that
Eliza Madrigal: so its 'where' one is
Archmage Atlantis: I would add to the last 2 lines......well first I should say that was an excellent choice of poem, Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: but yes, if fear something, time stretches until the issue resolves
    --BELL--
Archmage Atlantis: For those who love, when they love, time is not
Archmage Atlantis: The loss of love creates forever
Archmage Atlantis: And forever is painful
Eliza Madrigal: arch that is quite thought
Eliza Madrigal: quite a thought, I mean...
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ya
    SophiaSharon Larnia: HI Yakuzza
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey, everyone
Eliza Madrigal: Fael was here but seems to have poofed :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: haha you said it
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, she returns :)
Archmage Atlantis: Hello Love :) - computer or power issues?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: wb Fael!!
    Fael Illyar: connection issues
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi fael :)
Fael Illyar: Hi Eliza, Yaku :)
Eliza Madrigal: something i've been actively noticing lately has to do with this idea of attention & time... but more hm... awareness and time... not as something one can lead, but can kind of allow more and more
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Liza :)
    Liza Deischer: hi all
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi liza
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Liza
    Fael Illyar: Hi Liza :)
Eliza Madrigal: so like, not 'my' awareness... just awareness
Archmage Atlantis: Oh, now I know why things are off kilter....today began daylight savings time in the US
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes :)
Eliza Madrigal: thank goodness for the computer setting the time for us... hehe
Fael Illyar: I'd not have noticed if Storm hadn't sent an email about it on the mailing list :)
Archmage Atlantis: The computer adjusted, but the clocks on the wall did not
    Yakuzza Lethecus: me neither
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: it prompted me to do a little search to see if Unalaska still didn't abide by daylight savings... to find that arizona and alaska don't follow daylight savings at all now...?
Yakuzza Lethecus: the clock in my car is still an hour later, so when we have the +1 hrs in 2 weeks it will be back to normal
Eliza Madrigal: along the way I found the nicest little blog, with pictures of baby foxes in the snow :))))
Liza Deischer: I never adjust my clock in my car anymore :-)
Archmage Atlantis: Yea, my friend who helps me with transportation keeps his car clock unchanged
    Eliza Madrigal: rebel
Archmage Atlantis: I am always confused when I get tramsportation
SophiaSharon Larnia: just read the [ab emails oops, and yes, why isn't dst synchronized? Seems like a power thing to me..
Yakuzza Lethecus: usually i hate DST but it´s not such a bad thing to have only 8hrs time difference
Yakuzza Lethecus: but sure in fall it´s 10 for a while
Liza Deischer: maybe Yaku, but I seem to forget those things in only a few minutes time :-)
Archmage Atlantis: There is a study that establishes more heart attacks occur in the days around the time change
SophiaSharon Larnia: your car clock is right 1/2 the year Liza :) Sometimes, I've let the clocks alone, and turned them back/forward when I wanted to... like getting an extra hour (hard to explain but I do it)
Fael Illyar: DST went unsynchronized a couple of years ago when US moved the time.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ah
Eliza Madrigal: yes, another george bush move I think...
    Liza Deischer: ah, old georgie.....:-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: if linden would be in arizona they wouldn´t even have DST
    Archmage Atlantis: Which george
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh i remember now, it was a power thing, but related to electric power, the idea being saving electricity
Eliza Madrigal: hehe... must have some kind of background strategificantionary...
Yakuzza Lethecus: that is the strangest thing in the states for me, that it´s not nationwide
    Archmage Atlantis: I remember 3
SophiaSharon Larnia: lol Eliza at the word! wont spell it
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Fael Illyar: I'd think it's the one who was in power a couple of years back.
    Eliza Madrigal: W
    Eliza Madrigal: 'the decider'
    --BELL--
Liza Deischer: is that his nickname in the US?
Archmage Atlantis: The US is not a nation, it is an association of states...thus USA
SophiaSharon Larnia: it is nationwide Yakuzza, not global
Eliza Madrigal: a name he gave himself, Liza!
Yakuzza Lethecus: for example arizona doens´t change the clocks
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hmm
Eliza Madrigal: yes Ya, nor Alaska now, as of 2009
    SophiaSharon Larnia: my mistake
Liza Deischer: I can imagine, it sounds 'positive' :-)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: lol
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Eliza Madrigal: when is the date when its suggested everyone turns off electricity for a few hrs at the same time?
Eliza Madrigal: a neat idea when towns or cities do it along with individuals
Eliza Madrigal: ah, last year it was march 28
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think the interesting moment is when everyone turns it back on at the same time :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yikes
Eliza Madrigal: we have so many freedoms and choices, so it seems a really hm 'powerful' thing when we choose to limit ourselves in a collective way... or to make little shifts...
Liza Deischer: Depends on how big your country is :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: yes :)
Eliza Madrigal: and context and timing...
    Liza Deischer: and power
    Eliza Madrigal: definitely
Eliza Madrigal: even individually though... like, i was given a car that is *not* environmentally friendly years ago...
Eliza Madrigal: can't run out and change it, circumstancially... BUT I can limit my use of it
    Eliza Madrigal: and so
Eliza Madrigal: so I guess its really just a long process of integration of values
Archmage Atlantis: How can there be freedom if corporations control the bovenment
    Archmage Atlantis: *government
Liza Deischer: well, you can ask yourself if there are really so much choices poeple can make individually
Eliza Madrigal: if we say corporations have the rights of people... yes, agree
Eliza Madrigal: its just wrong :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: but how to know what´s really ,,good"
Fael Illyar: yes, corporation should not have the same rights as natural person.
Liza Deischer: I suppose we can't anymore
Eliza Madrigal: seems such a slippery slope... and not exactly what one considers 'democracy'
Liza Deischer: to far off frome natural feeling and timing
Archmage Atlantis: I think we can
Yakuzza Lethecus: i ask myself how the usa can even be a democracy with only 2 party´s which seem kind of identical in so many ways
Archmage Atlantis: First, we give women reproductive rights......and that does not include abortions
Liza Deischer: and being, at the moment, the most powerful country in the world
SophiaSharon Larnia would prefer not to make any statements here :)
Archmage Atlantis: Second, we care for all children, regardless of disability
Archmage Atlantis: Third we care for all animals
Eliza Madrigal thinks its time for guardian session :)
Liza Deischer: that's is pretty theoratical Arch
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles
Archmage Atlantis: Forth we care for all plants
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Fael
Fael Illyar: Well, it's time for the guardian meeting then.
Fael Illyar: have fun everyone :)
    Liza Deischer: bye Fael
SophiaSharon Larnia: see you in a second :))
    Liza Deischer: I'm leaving
Liza Deischer: needing some sleep :-)
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh bye Liza see you later :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: sweet dreams
    Liza Deischer: bye Sharon :-)
