2010.03.06 13:00 - Scribe Session: all current scribes.

The Guardian for this meeting was SophiaSharon Larnia. The comments are by Agatha Macbeth, Calvino Rabeni, Eliza Madrigal, Eos Amaterasu, Liza Deischer, stevenaia Michinaga, Qt Core,stevenaia Michinaga, and myself.

The session began with hellos and general conversation while we wait for others to arrive...We eventually settled down and some ideas emerged for future scribing endeavours.

To recap scribing ideas from this session -- Higher prominence on the wiki of the scribing entries, a monthly scribe session to discuss scribing to keep the process fresh. Also discussed was the need for the scriber to identify themself (by text, and tagging).

We all agreed the scribes are a rich expression from the Play as Being group.

Eliza suggests that we could format the scribe on the basis on statements such as "What I'm hearing is ___", or "What I appreciate about that is ___", or __ helped me this month.".... As Pema has so wonderfully put it, as "Little Birds" that we can show others.We can also take one session, and each describe our perceptions from it.

Eos mentioned that maybe the scribes could be available to read in SL. Perhaps on note cards in the Five Bells Pub? I sense a future fun project! <<smiles>>

At the end of the session, we played quite a bit!!!!! Flying and Dancing, I am very happy to be a part of of such a fun group (see pictures below).

It seemed the simplest and most enjoyable way to condense and highlight the regular sessions and themes... also a way for those who 'can't' read the logs regulary, to keep in touch... reading a few rather than all...

Eliza Madrigal: and there isn't a real issue of language for those who feel they may struggle to express themselves in English, because it is a matter of "Look: ____!"
