Paradise Tennant: I tend my dad's grandmothe's grave in May .. plant martha washington gernaiums a ritual we did together for many years ..she died in 1949 .. her grave is the only one of that vintage that still has fresh plantings .. amazing how even 70 years leaves you in the past

Pila Mulligan: I think aura usually refers more to an energy emanation that is like a coronoa surrounding the body -- I don;t see that way either

Pila Mulligan: chi is like internal vital energy and it can radiate outward as well

Susi Alcott: the first time I went being strongly in my thoughts, she attacked me so that when she came near enough to smell me well she turned around in the air
Susi Alcott: then she lied down and set her paws onto her nose and seemed very embarresed

Susi Alcott: so; each time I noticed to tell her in my mind that 'hey, it's me coming here now', all was well

Pila Mulligan: Storm, earlier we were talking abot Susi's avi's aura, and shifted into human aura ([19:40] Paradise Tennant: we all have auras in rl that appear to be quite individual and subject to change with our emotions or so I understand ...)

Susi Alcott: but what I often see is one's wings....
Susi Alcott: and sometimes I see the pain of the body which 'drags' the light ...
Susi Alcott: but yes; how the pain effects to ones mind
Susi Alcott: also I use to see how the person is aware of him/herself....
Susi Alcott: it's various ways...but I have come to conclution that it's always based on the purpose; that I'de know better how to help if my help is asked

Susi Alcott: dont much wanna deal with love affairs, but I have helped people to chooce who they take to be there worker....
Storm Nordwind: /Seeing auras can be quite useful - when healing, for example - though I tend to keep the ability 'switched off' as I find it can be both distracting and quite invasive
Pila Mulligan: 'kriya' (a yogic term) has been described as spontaneous or involutary movements resulting from conditions of internal energy -- I sense or 'see' the condition of a person's chi or internal energy in large part by observing their involuntary movements

Paradise Tennant: when I was a child I use to see purple around my mom's head and often told her about it :) now occassionally when I meditate I see flashes of colour around someone but find it very unsettling .. makes me uncomfortable
Pila Mulligan: seeing body pain that 'drags light' sounds comparable
Paradise Tennant: so susi it is shadow ..not colour ?
Susi Alcott: that I see when the person knows how not to give his/her pain into my existence
Susi Alcott: hm...have not thought it to be the shadow...as it's part of ones body...mindbody...
Susi Alcott: as it's not the same shaped than the rest of the body....
Paradise Tennant: what shape is it ?
Susi Alcott: but such person yes knows me and wants to save me from his/her pains
Susi Alcott: depends on how big the pain is....comparing to one's health
Susi Alcott: and sure one's spiritual strength
Storm Nordwind: By the way Paradise, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, it's possible to learn to switch it off, and it may also be possible to find out what it's for in your personal case
Susi Alcott: hm...and sure on one's will to shine no matter if there's pain

Susi Alcott: there was this man that came to ask my help , but I was quite 'offline' from my body....
Susi Alcott: but I sure asked him to sit down that I'll 'be back' quickly
Susi Alcott: he is the person who sees all energies 'around' easily
Susi Alcott: soon I felt myself to be fully present in my human body and he told how he saw that I brought violet light into his forehead chakra

Susi Alcott: ah yes; that is normally a block in the energyfield when there's the physical illness
Susi Alcott: that is possible often to open by other person; not always
Susi Alcott: in Finland there's such person how makes surgeries to people, but he also knows the limit that if the illness is very deep in the body, he dont do anything
Susi Alcott: but when not, he imagines the patient to be in front of him and cut's the block off

Storm Nordwind: Interestingly, some healers assume that the energy block is the cause of the physical illness. This may be true sometimes, but not necessarily always, and it may be the other way round - that the cause of the energy block is the physical problem
Paradise Tennant: reiki healing ..is based on a similar philosophy .?
Susi Alcott: well...imo the block is 'resolt'...symptom....
Susi Alcott: the reason is often must to find for one to get well

Storm Nordwind: But it is certainly important for a healer to be able to tell whether they should attempt a healing treatment or whether they should leave alone
Pila Mulligan: this healer's son was nealry killed in a car accident on the mainland, and the doctors called to say they felt life support would not be worthwhile -- the healer flew to the hospital (by airplane) and after his arrival at the hospital he spent an hour that reuslted in son becoming conscious and obviously not near death -- the doctors kept the healer there for several weeks in meetings and seminars

Susi Alcott: sure it's also so, that for example when one is hungry and cannot get food, nothing else helps...
Storm Nordwind: That's an interesting case - thank you Pila. It reminds me though that as well as occasional non-action, one sometimes has to heal, not just for the patient to live, but for them to die
Susi Alcott: (in Finland doctors only bend there head meeting the healer that has obviously healed the patient)

Calvino Rabeni: At the start, they all wrote their name on a card and put it into a hat
Calvino Rabeni: Then the hat was passed around - well, it could have been a basket :)

Calvino Rabeni: And each drew out one card; putting it back into the basket, if it was the card with one's own name
Calvino Rabeni: Thus each person had the card of another, in secret
Calvino Rabeni: then for the next few days, the instruction was to hold that person in mind, and perhaps in "deed" as well
Calvino Rabeni: And to be of secret help to that person

Calvino Rabeni: At the end of the few days, it was revealed, who was "holding" each person
Calvino Rabeni: Also it was questioned, at that time, what was the effect
Calvino Rabeni: I thought this practice was a sharp idea, a good idea

Calvino Rabeni: There is not an "objective" answer to this
Calvino Rabeni: I think one effect is that the group became more connected by this web of intentions
Calvino Rabeni: Another effect is that some of the people realized, they can do this at any time, even if no cards have been written :)
