I volunteer for this project... the notecards would include the monthly scribes, maybe some PaB info, poems or other documents offered by guardians, in a menu that the resident could pick from to obtain the document."

Storm Nordwind: I think the fun component would be a useful addition. I'm not convinced that the visibility of the pub vs. the wiki is really the case, but as a complement it sounds wonderful!

Eos Amaterasu: this neighborhood is starting to be village squary, what with this hall plus pub a few feet away

arabella Ella: my preference is ... with no offence to anyone as all places are lovely ... for open air venues

Bleu Oleander: maybe we could ask some sl artists to do a piece for the square .... a revolving art exit of sorts
Storm Nordwind: In fact the Village Hall will be diagonally off the square too

Storm Nordwind: It will work with what we have anyway. I don't think we'll need to move much if anything

Storm Nordwind: The other much demanded thing is a streaming radio object for every plot that wants one. At the moment as owner I have to change the streams manually for each request. I will provide a device that will allow guardians to adjust this themselves according to every passing whim :)

Storm Nordwind: It's certainly possible. I can still restrict it to guardian build permission and have an autoreturn (like next to the Cafe) of, say, 2 hours.

arabella Ella: the difference from building on our own plots is that this could encourage communal peer to peer learning
arabella Ella: and of course increased interaction

arabella Ella: or prayer flags which people could set up and write their messages on for 24 hrs

Eliza Madrigal: i've been moving things around at my spot this week... changing things around and considering the possibilities... many ideas as one walks the village ...
arabella Ella: I'm not good at sketches ... but perhaps some people are good at design
Eliza Madrigal: its another way of conversing with one another :)
Calvino Rabeni: People visit our plots while no one is around - maybe some kind of greeter script would add something of interest
Storm Nordwind knows that very many people run a mile when there are greeter scripts around!
Eliza Madrigal: yes... non intrusive little things though
Maxine Walden: greeter scripts can feel like 'big brother' to a visitor

Eliza Madrigal: one thing that I like, is seeing when someone has a book or library.....
Eliza Madrigal: that can give a lot of information if someone likes...
Calvino Rabeni: In one sim, I found a weather script - when you walk to that area, there's a sudden thunderstorm

Calvino Rabeni: Well, more than I expected - maybe about 4 hours
Eliza Madrigal: The first two scribes took a little while.... but now it takes me about an hr a month unless I get carried away or pull together more than one, Ara :)

Calvino Rabeni: Or longer, if it has some creativity involved
arabella Ella: ah
Eos Amaterasu: yeah, can't imagine doing it in less than 3, more like 5
Eliza Madrigal: yes... it depends on what one puts into it...
Storm Nordwind remembers a year ago that it regularly took him 5 hours
Calvino Rabeni: It takes a couple hours just to read the sessions
Maxine Walden: me as well, when I scribed, 4-5 hours
Calvino Rabeni: RIght, that's my experience too
arabella Ella: ok interesting ... was always curious about time
Eos Amaterasu: Unless it's all "just me and the pavilion"
Eliza Madrigal: I can think of some that took that long, and others which seemed very simple, where I felt that one idea jumped out prominently
Eliza Madrigal: I think this is what we need to be talking about.... how to make it creative, well-done, thoughtful AND enjoyable too
