Riddle Sideways: It was such a nice evening in SL that I thought I would walk, jog, run over here from the new village square.
Riddle Sideways: On the way I saw what I have always thought happens but could not prove.
Riddle Sideways: "All your stuff goes away when you don't need it and comes back when you do..."
Riddle Sideways: I was running past my plot.
Riddle Sideways: Must have moved up on it sooooo faaast
Riddle Sideways: that my stuff did not have time to get into place :)
Riddle Sideways: This time I was able to watch all the stuff rez into place. Just like it had always been there waiting for me, instead of the other way round.
Riddle Sideways: For hours now, I have been watching thoughts do the same thing.
Riddle Sideways: Thoughts that I did not need (loaded word, but don't stop too long on the word "need" (it will hurt))
Riddle Sideways: came popping back all night
Riddle Sideways: good morning, Bleu
Bleu Oleander: good morning Riddle
Bleu Oleander: how are you?
Riddle Sideways: I was just telling Listener Master about thoughts that come back seemingly out of nowhere
Riddle Sideways: when given space, time, need
Bleu Oleander: yes
Riddle Sideways: happens all the time, but seemed to watch it since last night
Bleu Oleander: I think it happens more than we realize
Bleu Oleander: once you start paying attention to it you notice it more
Riddle Sideways: oh yes, paying attention is the part
Riddle Sideways: last night a stray phrase "spirit guides" came into
Riddle Sideways: please forgive me, but I had not paid attention to spirit guides for some time
Riddle Sideways: we had been on auto-piot
Riddle Sideways: pilot
Bleu Oleander: happens
Riddle Sideways: I know yesterday morning things were spilling alot, trying to get attention
Riddle Sideways: but not til the evening did I pay attention
Riddle Sideways: then all these guides started speaking
Riddle Sideways: [hope am using goodly words]
Bleu Oleander: that's where the 9 sec pauses come in handy!
Riddle Sideways: exactly
Bleu Oleander: I've been more consciously using them lately

Bleu Oleander: but it takes a while to make it part of your day
Riddle Sideways: they were firing off quicker then 15 min tho
Riddle Sideways: and started noticing how many guides we have
Riddle Sideways: many times thought about these SL guides
Riddle Sideways: sometimes I think, "Bleu, is a real person..." when you are just my spirit guide :)
Riddle Sideways: need to pay attention
Riddle Sideways: of course it does not matter
Riddle Sideways: you are going to guide me whatever I put as a meaning, justifaction, reasoning
Riddle Sideways: just that you seem so real
Bleu Oleander: real spirit reaching you via Bleu in SL
Riddle Sideways: seems so easy to think along that line

Riddle Sideways: easy to think that the envisionment before us is a real Calvino come to guide us

Riddle Sideways: was rambling on about spirit guides
Calvino Rabeni: So, that's good, what was the gist of it?
Calvino Rabeni: How are your relationships?
Calvino Rabeni: Or was it, do they exist? :)
Riddle Sideways: 1. the number of guides we have in different parts of us
Riddle Sideways: 2. that they carry on whether we paying attention or not
Riddle Sideways: there are dream guides that visit nightly whether bidden or not
Riddle Sideways: a safety guide that was spilling things yesterday to get me to slow down
Calvino Rabeni: :)
Riddle Sideways: an education guide that made me pick up that book of short stories last night
Riddle Sideways: then I got to whether SL is yet another extension of
Calvino Rabeni: I had that a few days ago - I dropped coffee more than one time :) Until I dropped it by not drinking it, and slowed down
Calvino Rabeni: Listens
Riddle Sideways: years ago read about needing to find your true spirit guide
Riddle Sideways: sit on a mountain, fast for 20 days, take a special drug, chant
Riddle Sideways: and a little teddy bear would link with me
Riddle Sideways: well the teddy bear just joined the hundreds of other guides

Riddle Sideways: isn't that "mother' voice in the back your head one of the guides too

Riddle Sideways: so, is PaB our guides
Calvino Rabeni: Can you clarify your main concern about this?
Riddle Sideways: no :)
Riddle Sideways: but can try to work thru it
Calvino Rabeni: :)
Calvino Rabeni: Well the more guides there seem to be, it seems there could be a loss of focus or clarity
Riddle Sideways: am putting forward the hypothesis that Calvino is real
Calvino Rabeni: And maybe some of them don't have the same status and importance
Calvino Rabeni: Some might come from different "worlds"
Riddle Sideways: at different times they have different use, need, status, importance
Calvino Rabeni: Then discrimination might be an issue
Riddle Sideways: the coffee spill guide seems to have no embodiment
Calvino Rabeni: I'm agnostic about them insofar as philosophy goes
Calvino Rabeni: But I favor their appearance
Calvino Rabeni: whether it is invoked or unbidden
Riddle Sideways: your attitude toward them is an entirely huge subject
Riddle Sideways: that we discuss a lot here
Calvino Rabeni: And I think they may need a little affirmation
Calvino Rabeni: And they are on a spectrum of appearances, somewhat on the "personal" side
Riddle Sideways: they seem to get very loud when not getting enough attention
Calvino Rabeni: the impersonal side is where everything is said to be "energy"
Calvino Rabeni: I ask my various friends to what degree they consider them "real"
Calvino Rabeni: As contrasted with something like a psychological projection or motif
Calvino Rabeni: but, it's not as important as talking to them
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, you may be on to something
Calvino Rabeni: or invoking them, praying to them, knowing when to stay out of their way, knowing when to make conditions welcoming to entice them to come closer, etc.
Riddle Sideways: on the general level of G-d, Being, Gravity, Time, etc. they are energies
Riddle Sideways: on the personal. "My special little friend..."
Calvino Rabeni: or Qualities maybe, to use a less "physics" metaphor
Calvino Rabeni: Not all are teddy bears
Riddle Sideways: true
Calvino Rabeni: some might be approached with caution
Riddle Sideways: that money one, is very dangerous
Calvino Rabeni: I was considering how this relates to the idea of "dropping" in PAB
Riddle Sideways: yes, was thinking about an impersonal energy we have labeled gravity
Riddle Sideways: we could 'drop' gravity in SL/PaB
Calvino Rabeni: Gravity gives the important messages - it is gravity that informs when other things have been "dropped"
Riddle Sideways: you can fly here

Riddle Sideways: objects do not spill
Calvino Rabeni: So it might be tricky - to have dropping outside gravity
Riddle Sideways: true, dropping can or might not have anything to do with dropping
Riddle Sideways: gravity
Riddle Sideways: typos are funny
Calvino Rabeni: The relationship is interesting - insofar as the "giving over" aspect of it
Riddle Sideways: so many different attitudes you can take
Calvino Rabeni: To release or let go may require another entity to take things over and carry them off - that is one of the things to be grateful to "gravity" for
Calvino Rabeni: And many of the "guides" may be willing to provide that service
Riddle Sideways: yet another guide that takes things away
Riddle Sideways: you don't need that...
Riddle Sideways: while another guide is giving you stuff
Calvino Rabeni: Some give, some take away, and perhaps more importantly, some do safekeeping of valuables
Riddle Sideways: a Calvino, that I never quite know what is going to say
Calvino Rabeni: One of the signs of an intelligent entity - that its behavior is in some way unexpected and unforeseen - otherwise it could be a projection of some habit
Calvino Rabeni: We like the entities because of the freshness they bring into the circle of self
Calvino Rabeni: keeping things circulating
Calvino Rabeni: Were it not for their generous services, things would get pretty stuffy "in here"
Riddle Sideways: circualating enough so there is fresh air
Calvino Rabeni: An organizing capability of the self, one might allow
Riddle Sideways: inhale the fresh
Calvino Rabeni: to achieve a middle way between being hermetically sealed, and outright posessed and invaded
Riddle Sideways: exhale to curculate to others
Calvino Rabeni: That's a nice metaphor, with breath as spirit
Calvino Rabeni: Anyway, I GTG catch the shuttle to the office
