Got up rather early, in order to sit for half an hour before taking off to the airport. In the middle of my sitting a brief moment during which solutions to a few practical questions instantaneously fell into place.
Glad to hear you're feeling better again, Adams! And reading about Eden Rose tea, I'm now getting up to order a nice cup of tea myself, while waiting for my first flight. :) edited 08:36, 22 Dec 2011

Got up earlier than usual. Had time to visit my old guardian slot. So had half hour meditation earlier. Mixture of thoughts and spaces, More meditation tonight at Mindfulness group. Lucky me...no job to have to work around. Plenty of free time in the pre-Christmas limbo period when presents and cards all organised. But I don't feel like doing anything 'serious.' Ordered second novel of 'La Vie Celebataire,' a French language novel. I just finished first one. Can't stop self-improving I guess.

Missing time before work this morning I just left the office and went for a little walk. This first day of winter has the feel of a touch of Spring. Everything is bathed in warm sunlight. It was also quiet; it is the next to last day of finals and a pair of frisbee players stood out against the stillness of the "campusscape". (Even William* was Silent). Rather largish flocks of birds seemed to fly aimlessly around overhead, maybe enjoying the beautiful, quiet day. I am glad I stopped and ventured outside of my windlowless office.

Many mindful moment opportunities woven throughout a day of spontaneous plan changes and family pictures... looking forward to sleeping a bit later tomorrow as well as taking time for an extended sit.

More "formal" breaks only on rising and now just before bed time. Went to see Handel's Dublin Messiah: depthy 3D sound, some moments raising goose bumps, glorious soprano singing "yet, in my flesh shall I see God": I can dig that, though perhaps not exactly same meaning as intended. Everything included.

Tai chi back in the office, now feel comfortable with intern in the office while doing Tai Chi, after I was done we did some basic Chi Gong together as she has arthritis and is only 23. Thinks we will be doing that more, perhaps the office will breakout in a meditative moment on a daily basis.
