Lots of dreaming over the last few days... seeing the way imagination holds questions open, exploring various angles. Have had a chance to listen to a few interesting talks... inside and outside of sleep. From one of those talks:
"wondering to ourself occurs when experience conflicts with our fixed ways of seeing the world." A. Einstein

Yes...human....words narrow us down to specifics and give us an idea that we understand what it is we are talking about. Using the word 'seeing' makes us think we grasp the whole mysterious process that it actually is...Sorry, too many 'we's'...substitute 'I' if needed :)
or substitute "it" or "Being" or just "-ing" (to Zen).
when thinking occurs, there is no need to conclude "I am thinking" or "these are my thoughts". We can just let the thinking do the thinking. After all, that's the only thing we can be sure of, that thinking is thinking. And one of the thoughts that thinking is thinking is "I bet there is an I that is doing the thinking" . . . but perhaps the bet is wrong . . . edited 03:05, 5 Mar 2012
