During morning practice I asked myself about my view of reality. All so paradoxical:
I firmly believe that any view is false, in the sense that words and concepts cannot come close to what is really real; and yet I also firmly belief that it is a very good thing to have a view, as a working hypothesis, something like a conceptual framework to help me not to sink deeper in the trap of conceptual thinking. edited 22:11, 21 Feb 2012
Interesting Pema. Maybe we have to face the fearful groundlessness of no view at all :) I thought a lot in a similar vein about foundations when I did my philosophy MA. It seemed 'we have to start somewhere.'
Asking these questions too... wonder about an idea that any view is 'imperfect' rather than false... like people. Of course in one way it means the same thing but perhaps without any sense of wrongness. An imperfect view may allow for the perfect to shine through by very virtue of imperfections... loose gems...

Today was more observational daybreak, early walk to work, some evening stillness.
A letting go in front of another water dragon :-)
55 breaths practice ...
