Waking up at 05:20 from a joyous dream, I tiptoe into the kitchen, pour myself a glass of water and open the window for the cat who likes to venture outside at dawn. On my way back to the bedroom, I break into a few seconds of spontaneous tai chi, connecting with Steve through the moving center of Being and to our constellation of ninety-niners scintillating in the silent night.#timestamp edited 15:59, 24 Dec 2011
...taking moments to relax even when it seems inconvenient or out of step with others... The hardest thing to do sometimes is just to stop. Here visiting my mom in "the country" there is a slower pace of life that allows for positive boredom of a sort seldom experienced in Miami... amazing how the rhythms of place, matter down to the deepest fibers. I have tasted deep rest, but do I know how to 'relax' completely? ... worthwhile to learn.
Standing like at a tree at the special spot, little peak in the woods. The rocks, the moss, the snow, the birds, this time blinking through this awareness.

Longer meditation, plenty of time
Christmas time warp
'And indeed there will be time'
Carpenter's nostalgia at the pavilion
I'll say goodbye to love
Or has it ony just begun?
