Prostrations in the morning. I need a bit of energy and mindfulness to be able to meditate in the morning, and if I do that, I feel more energetic and more mindful. It can be an upward spiral, or a downward one.
I noticed there are three ways to do prostrations: Do them mindfully (action), do them mindlessly (habit), and allow them mindfully (can't seem to find a fitting word). Not-doing mindlessly does not seem possible, if there is no awareness either nothing happens, or I slip back into habitual patterns. While mindfulness can become more of a habit, things done when mindful are not done out of habit.

Self-healing path no 2: Among my 108 buddhist and ordinary qualities, I choose one quality I will manifest throughout this day: I choose clarity. With a strong conviction that I am the healer and with the arrow of pure intention stretched across the bow of my spirit, I will write down today a vision of myself doing something I really love to do (in my case, public poetry performances), completely healed of any physical ailment and psychic wound, so I will be a clear channel of love and consciousness. #timestamp
I'm struck by just how different we all are. I tend to project onto, and assume others around here have something similar to my own understanding of the world, but that is so silly since even my own views are changing so much and all the time. Why do some want others to have the same belief system as themselves? It would be so boring.
Hm, remembering restful actions today... a few snapshots (see the file section), two pleasant PaB sessions centering on abiding beyond happiness and unhappiness... 55 breaths... taking time waking...
The enjoyment of lingering waking has brought more attention into end/beginning rituals, so it is nice to hear what others find, too.
Again so many thoughtful entries today, thank you all! Interesting list of three ways, Wester; probably fits for any action: doing it on auto-pilot; doing it with attention but still with some friction of effort; and letting it happen, in a wu-wei way.
This morning I worked on integration, letting views and memories and intentions appear and find ways to integrate.

Within that letting go of holding.
With such posture bow to every being.
